I'll be dropping in soon! -Taien Hadohou
Proclaimed the simplistic letter in colored ink. Were one to examine it, they'd find that it was, indeed, handwritten. If one looked further, they'd be able to tell that the writing implement was a quill. And, if one really took a good look at their surroundings, they'd be able to determine that the letter had most likely spontaneously appeared in the middle of an office. An office, mind you, that belonged to one Kazura Ukazi. How it had happened upon his office, even his desk for that matter, would be a mystery for the ages. Even the numerous cameras that dotted the office wouldn't have a clue, were they thinking creatures of course. Despite being able to 'see' spiritual beings, all that they would capture would be a note, crisp and cleanly popping into existence, by a computer monitor on the desk. There was no explanation. No footage to show what happened. Just nothing there one moment- then POOF! Letter on desk.
Mystery of the Letter Appearing From Nowhere aside, Kazura would know who it was from. While it had been a long, long time since they had last talked, Taien remembered the chat they had in the neighboring Karakura High School. He had been pulled away from it a little early for his tastes because of an incursion by a few groups of actual, organized Hollows, that had then started to terrorize both the population and the Shinigami -on-Duty for Karakura. Taien had apologized hastily, rushed over, and had helped in the defense. While the SoD [p.] (yeah plural, do ya know how much spiritual trouble Karakura has going on? No singular Shinigami could be expected to police it all and stay sane.) and Taien drove back the Hollows, Taien's vacation time had ran out some time shortly after that, which meant he had to return to the Seireitei without finishing his little chat with Kazura.
No more, however! Taien had once again accumulated a numerous amount of days-he-actually-shouldn't-have-been-working-on again, and thus, he decided to drop in on Kazura once more! Though the letter didn't actually say when he'd show up... And then, probably as he was examining the footage or whatever ultra-rich types do when someone circumvents their security systems, something dropped in from above! Feet first, falling slowly in all defiance of gravity or the laws that govern the universe, Taien Hadohou floated down into a chair directly in front of Kazura's desk. A little black butterfly flittered around him for a few moments, before rising up into the ceiling, and vanishing from whence it came. Taien had a pleasant smile on his face, as if this was normal for him.
... It probably was, to be honest.
"Ah, Uzaki-San. I apologize for abruptly cutting off our talk last time."
Said Taien, bowing his head slightly.
