750 TTP to learn and master{Nukiashi: Oikage}Technique Name: Nukiashi: Oikage (Trackless Step: Seeking Shadow)
Class: 1
Technique Type: Hohō
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: Stealth and subterfuge is an art often used by those of the Onmitsukido to gain the upper hand on a target meant for assassination. Oikage is a technique created by Aevus to use that teaching to its fullest effect. It is first performed by an abrupt and flareless step at 25x their speed. Like Utsusemi and Shinkirou the user creates an afterimage in their place. This afterimage is unique though in that the users reiatsu signature actually clings to it for one post, allowing the user to easily misdirect those with any form of energy sensory or technique used to track the user. This causes the users reiatsu signature to linger, not following their person as they move and perform techniques. Allowing it to even trick techniques such as Pesquis. As such this technique initially requires a target to have at least 200 energy sensory to detect the user. Points in stealth increases this requirement by an increment of 200 for each additional point in stealth. (i.e. 400 ES for one point in stealth, 600 for two points, 800 for three and 1000 for four.) If the afterimage is struck, the image will disappear returning the users signature within 1.5 seconds. Upon mastery the blurring effect caused by the speed of this technique lingers causing the user to become invisible to the naked eye for a total of 2 seconds after stepping, allowing the user to stealthily take out their target if they're fast enough. This in turn causes an anomaly where even the users shadow has difficulty keeping up, hence the name Oikage.
How to use technique: Focus of Reishi around the feet area and launch off into a single blurring step. It is not unlike teleportation in appearance, but it is simply extremely fast movement. It is often used to gain an edge in a single moment of combat or to dodge incoming attacks.
Technique Drawbacks: On top of the class 1 cost, Oikage requires the user to possess 500 speed as well as a 3 in Hohō to even learn. Mastery requires the user to possess at least 700 speed. As the speed implies, this technique can easily leave the user fatigued and thus requires a short rest period (2 posts) before the user can perform another step tech. Lastly even though, the user can't normally be sensed by ES and tracking techniques (Unless they are techniques placed on the user), it doesn't mean it fools the other senses, except for sight. And even than the user isn't completely void of being spotted (i.e. Footprints can be seen in snow, rain will fall off the user, etc) Additionally points in anti-stealth reduces the ES requirement to detect the user by increments of 200.
