Vita Solerita
Though they still have access to Kido as a whole, Rogues look to a new method of using their Reiatsu in various combat techniques. Having become particularly attuned to their Life Force through the use of their Bakkoto, Rogues have come up with the idea to make use of that same energy, much in the way that their weapons do. Though it is a risk, one that can put strain on the user's very life itself, Rogues have developed the line of techniques known as Vita Solerita, which not only uses their Reiatsu, but combines the very essence of their life with it to create unique and powerful effects. These techniques can be as varied as Shinigami Kido, but they do come with a risk: if one uses too much Life Force, there is an increasingly higher chance of death. Be cautious when using these techniques, as they walk the line between life and death.
All techniques in this section are custom-made, and are not colored because of that.
{Class 5 Techniques}Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Soul Steps
Technique Class: 5 - 20 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: Perhaps one of the more frivolous Vita Solerita techniques, and one of the more questionable usages of one's own Life Force, Soul Steps modifies Hoho, augmenting it with one’s own life energy. The particular Hoho augmented this way is the one that all Rogues know from their Shinigami days: Shunpo. Soul Steps is a stance technique, which lasts for four posts or until it ends early. While in that stance, anytime the individual uses Shunpo, they may spend 100 Life Force in order to augment that Shunpo. If they do so, they leave behind an after image, infused with their own life force. This afterimage can do one simple action, such as clap, either once or on loop. If someone interacts with the afterimage in any direct way, or ten seconds pass, the afterimage disappears.
How to Use: Activate the technique to enter the stance, then use Shunpo normally, except also draw your own Life Force to your feet in addition to reiatsu.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Entering the stance costs as much as a normal Class 4 technique, and lasts for four posts. It can only be used twice a thread, and there must be at least three posts in-between each stance usage. The afterimages can be detected as anomalous with either a 200 energy sensory, or a 250 senses, or a 3 in Analysis. Soul Steps augmented Shunpō eat up double the number of step techniques per post.

Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Echo
Technique Class: 5 - 20 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 200 Life Force.
Description: A bat is nearly blind, so in order to see it sends out a pulse. This pulse of sound strikes objects, returning to the bat and giving it an understanding of its surroundings. This is similar to the Vita Solerita technique, Echo. Rather than seeing one's surroundings, this technique is used to determine Life. By sending out the hunger of the Bakkoto, the Echo, one is able to determine the amount of Life around them. This technique can be used to detect individuals, determine how much reiatsu they have through their Life, and even gauge how much Life Force a Rogue has left. The range of this technique is rather impressive. At Learned, one is able to send the Echo out a mile around them. At Proficient this is increased to three miles. At Mastered, one can send the Echo out to five miles around them.
How to Use: Focus on the hunger of the Bakkoto and send it out around you.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Life Force cost.

Technique Name: Vita Solertia: Soul Burn
Technique Class: 5-2 - 20 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: This technique is one of the most directly offensive Vita Solerita. The soul has incredibly potent energy in it, and the usage of Life Force techniques allows someone to tap directly into that energy. This specific one converts the a Rogues Life Force into a burning force that surrounds either the Rogue’s hand, or weapon (which can be any object that the Rogue picks up, it doesn't need to be a specifically spiritual weapon). The burning force doesn’t produce light, although its strange reiatsu is detectable via 100 Energy Sensory, and the heat it creates doesn’t extend far off the affected area. However, Soul Burn produces incredible amounts of heat that only affects organic matter.
A single touch of a hand that is utilizing Soul Burn can cause degree burns the instant of contact, which suffice it to say, makes this technique horrifying in usage. This technique can be used at any class as low as five and as high as two. Class 5 usage causes first degree burns upon contact, and second degree burns upon repeated contact or extended contact. Class 4 does the same, but of course beats more things in clash. Class 3 usage allows for the creation of second degree burns on contact, and three degree burns through extended or repeated contact. The Class 2 version causes instantaneous third degree burns, and fourth degree burns (burns that penetrate the muscles) upon extended or repeated contact.
How to Use: Focus on the body part or weapon you want to use in conjunction with the technique, and expend the necessary Life Force.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: This technique costs 100 Life Force for each class of it (Class 5 is 100, Class 4 is 200, etc) per post. It also causes subtle muscle damage to whichever arm is holding the weapon that the technique is being used on, or whichever arm is using the technique. This muscle damage means that using this technique for more than four posts per thread will render that arm useless.

{Class 3 Techniques}Technique Name: Vita Solertia: Faked Death
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: A technique which Rogues are capable of using due to their mastery over their own life force. While all individuals can ‘play dead’ if they are sufficiently good actors, and the opponent isn’t particularly observant, Rogues are capable of temporarily rendering themselves completely dead by suppressing their life force. This technique can be activated anytime the Rogue loses Life Force for any reason, such as being struck. If they do so, they lose control over their own body, although they maintain their sensory capabilities. In this state, they appear to everyone but the most studious observers to be absolutely and legitimately dead.
How to Use: It can be triggered upon losing Life Force for any reason, and can be maintained for the cost of 100 Life Force per combat post, or 200 Life Force per half an hour of out of combat action. This technique can be ended at any time.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Of course the cost related to this technique is a drawback. Second drawback is it doesn’t actually provide any defensive capabilities, so opponents who are psychotic enough to double tap, or similarly harm their foes after death, will not be deterred. A 4 in Analysis or 3 in Focused Eye will reveal the deception. No amount of senses can detect this trick, but at least 400 Energy Sensory can piece it.

Technique Name: Vita Solertia: Acceleration
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: An ability that all Rogues possess is the ability to convert their own Life Force into additional Reiatsu Strength in order to increase the power of an attack. Acceleration is a technique that follows the same principles, but is not used to increase the Rogues Reiatsu Strength but rather to increase their Speed. However, it is not the actual users speed that is increased, but it is used to increase the users speed when a Step Technique is used. For example, say the user has a Speed of 300 and they use this technique to trade 300 Life Force for 300 Speed, then they can use a Step Technique with a base Speed of 600. The conversion ratio is 1:1.
How to Use: Activate and convert.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Same drawbacks as the Reiatsu Strength conversion. Cannot be used to exceed the 3x stat rule. Counts as a short term stat bonus. Additionally, due to this being an unnatural increase of speed there is a risk of muscle damage based on the percentage of increase. A 25% increase will produce soreness in the limb(s) increased, a 50% increase will cause serious pain in the legs but still make it usable. A 100% increase will cause serious muscle damage, making standing incredibly difficult. A 200% increase will render the legs useless due to the breaking of bones and tearing of muscles.

Technique Name: Vita Solertia: Life Drain
Technique Class: 3 - 80 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 200 Reiatsu.
Description: It is common knowledge of the difference between the Shinigami and the Rogue. A Shinigami's power comes from within their own soul. They must make bargains with their soul until the inevitable day comes that they must conquer it to achieve Bankai. The Rogue, however, does not acquire his power from the inside, rather from the outside. The Bakkoto is a parasite, feeding off the reiatsu and life of its wielder in exchange for great power.
The purpose of this technique was to change what it was the Bakkoto fed upon. The Bakkoto is a parasite, a symbiote of sorts, seeking nourishment above all else. All it cares about, all it needs, is life force and reiatsu. The art of Life Drain uses these basic motivations of the Bakkoto and turns it against his opponent. When the adversary of the Rogue comes into contact with the Bakkoto, whether it be weapon or attire, the parasite will begin to rapidly feed upon its new source. A powerful technique, for every post that the Bakkoto remains in contact with its new source of food, 500 reiatsu will be stolen from them.
This reiatsu allows for two options by the Rogue. First, the Rogue is able to take that stolen Reiatsu and give it to themselves, replenishing their own reserves with their enemies. Many races and factions have tried to create techniques designed to steal the reiatsu of an enemy, but only the Rogues are capable of this. The second option is to convert the reiatsu into what a Rogue truly needs, into what allows the Rogue to continue fighting; Life Force. The main function of this technique is not to regain reiatsu, but is to in fact regain Life Force. When used against fellow Rogues, the user of this technique can rob Life Force rather than just reiatsu, the same amount and can only be given to the users Life Force pool.
How to Use: The Rogue must have his Bakkoto come into contact with the target's body. This can be done by simply having the Bakkoto touch them, impale them upon the weapon that is the Bakkoto, or any other method of getting the parasite onto the target. They must then activate the technique.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: This technique, despite its strength, does have a few drawbacks. Firstly, on the matter of draining reiatsu. If the stolen energy surpasses the amount that the Rogue has (Spiritual Pressure stat), then the Rogue must use that reiatsu within two posts or the extra amount will deal sudden Life Force damage, equal to the extra unused amount of reiatsu. For every post that this technique is used, a Rogue will take 1.5x extra Life Drain depletion for attacks, except for any damage taken by too much reiatsu absorption. This technique has the cost of a Class 3 technique as well, and can only be used if it has been Mastered.

{Class 2 Techniques}Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Fortify
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: An ability that all Rogues possess is the ability to convert their own Life Force into additional Reiatsu Strength in order to increase the power of an attack. Improvement is a technique that follows the same principles, but is not used to increase the Rogues Reiatsu Strength but rather to increase their spiritual pressure. At a ratio of 1:1, the Rogue is able to add the created spiritual pressure into their own for a single cutback calculation.
How to Use: Activate just before a physical attack is about to hit the user.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Same drawbacks as the Reiatsu Strength conversion in that the increase only lasts a moment and only impacts cutback calculations, so it does not increase Spiritual Pressure overall. Fortify cannot be used to exceed the 3x stat rule. It counts as a short term stat bonus as well. Activation of Vita Solerita: Fortify disables cutback for one full recovery post and prevents the user from charging life force for two full posts.

Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Body/Soul Harmony
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: This technique is one that most Rogues pick up given time and effort, and is relatively simple. It focuses on the concept that your Body and Soul are intertwined, and in an intimate state of balance. When one is damaged, the other can bear some of the damage instead, reducing the injury. That concept is why Rogues lose Life Force anytime they are hit physically.
Body/Soul Harmony uses the technique to allow Rogues to recover from injuries that would normally put them out of the game. By burning Life Force and using reiatsu, the Rogue is capable of sealing up open cuts, mending broken bones, reattaching limbs in extreme cases, or even fixing organs. This technique, however, is not like High Speed Regeneration, because it requires time and focus rather than being just passively active. This technique cannot fix spiritual wounds, only physical ones.
How to Use: The user must concentrate on the wound, and put the injury, at least temporarily, into the state they want it to be healed into. So forcing a broken arm straight with a split, attempting to close a bleeding cut, or pushing their severed limb to the stump. After doing so, they expend the necessary reiatsu, and burn the required lifeforce.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: First off, the cost. The cost get’s more severe for bigger injuries. Cuts that aren’t more than four inches long can be sealed up for 100 reiatsu and 100 Life Force. Larger than that requires 150 reiatsu and 200 Life Force. Broken bones are 200 reiatsu and 250 Life Force. Lost limbs are 350 reiatsu and 450 Life Force. Damaged organs cost 500 reiatsu and 500 Life Force. This technique also causes heavy physical exhaustion, and excessive use will cause the user to be unable to fight anymore. The technique requires a full post of focusing on the wound, which functions like a rest post: the user is unable to attack or defend in any way that would be prohibited as if they were seeking a rest post. Also, this technique causes incredible pain when reattaching a limb or mending a broken bone. This cannot be used on other individuals, regardless of Healing Expertise.

Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Regeneration
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: 200 Reiatsu.
Description: To Rogues, the essence of life is as familiar to them as the very air they breathe. In battle a Rogue must exercise more caution, more control, as every blow they receive shortens their life. But during battle injuries are a guarantee. Wounds that can impede the fighter, injuries that can bring them down, weakness that can lead to death. It was why this Vita Solerita was created, so that these warriors would not fall. Regeneration is a Healing technique that uses Life Force, instead of reiatsu, as the energy required to use. Once activated, the very Life Force within the Rogue is used to heal any injuries the Rogue may have. Cuts, scrapes, gashes, broken bones, burns, organ damage, are all examples of things that can be regenerated by this Vita Solerita. Any physical injury, actually. Minor wounds, such as cuts or bruises on the outside of the body cost 100 Life Force to mend. Medium wounds, like large injuries and broken bones require 250 Life Force to mend. Serious wounds, like organ damage or a majority of the body require 500 Life Force to Regenerate.
How to Use: Activate the technique at-will.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: While an incredible technique, there are limitations. Firstly, limbs cannot be regenerated. This is not HSR, and so something that is gone cannot be returned. For example, if the user has lost the entirety of their kidney it cannot come back, but if parts of it remain then it can be regenerated. Limbs that are lost can be reattached but not regrown. Secondly, after each use of the power the user experiences severe burning pain where they were healed. Healing Expertise plays a role in this power as well. While Minor Wounds can be healed without needing the Stat, a 150 is required in it to heal Medium Wounds and 350 is needed for Serious Wounds.

Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Telum
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: Shinigami of Soul Society have Soul Projection to manifest their Zanpakutō as other weapons or even summon a physical form of their Zanpakutō spirit. Vita Solerita: Telum is the Rogue equivalent. Most Bakkotō do not appear as a weapon in the sealed state, but this technique remedies that flaw. The user may create summoned weapons that would be treated as a manifestation of their Bakkotō. The exact appearance of this weapon is up to the user. Its durability is equal to that of the user's release weapon.
More complex weapons cost more reiatsu and take more focus to create. For this reason, it’s simplest to create weapons that the user is already familiar with. It is impossible to create weapons one has never seen before. The user may only create a weapon in which they have invested skill points into, although points in crafting allows the user to make any weapon they desire. The cost system works the same as that of Soul Projection. A knife costs 25 reiatsu. A sword, axe or spear costs 50 reiatsu. A firearm costs 100 reiatsu. A grenade costs 150 reiatsu. A rocket launcher costs 200 reiatsu. A car or vehicle costs 250 reiatsu.
Here’s where things get interesting. Now, the user can manifest the parasitic spirit of their Bakkotō. By paying a cost of 400 reiatsu and life force, one can call upon their Bakkotō to take on a physical form. The exact appearance of the Bakkotō is up to the user, although it cannot resemble a human. The Bakkotō is a very animalistic creature, and so it will take on a more wild or demonic form. The parasite will have a speed of 800 and strength of 500. The user may choose to either determine certain targets for the parasitic weapon to pursue or do the opposite and specify individuals that it may not hurt, thus setting it on a destructive rampage toward its targets. It possesses 150 Instinct and Senses, and its durability is equal to that of the user’s release weapon. Bakkoto are not sentient like the Zanpakutō spirit, so while they will respond to simple mental commands, they do not communicate back. The Bakkotō's main goal is destruction. This is what sets Telum apart from Soul Projection. The Shinigami may call upon their intelligent Zanpakutō spirits for aid, while rogues can instead release a monster into the world to wreak havoc on their behalf.
How to Use: Pay the cost and activate it to summon your weapon near you.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: Other than reiatsu and life force costs, there are other drawbacks to Vita Solerita: Telum. If the parasite the user creates is destroyed, the rogue’s release will immediately shut down and they will not have access to their Bakkotō for a three post, leaving them vulnerable and release-less in that time. Furthermore, the parasitic spirit can only survive outside the user for 8 posts. Before the 8 posts are over, the parasite must return to the user and merge with them once more. If the Bakkotō fails to do so after the post duration ends, the user will suffer the same drawbacks as though the parasite were killed. When learned and proficient with Telum, one can only manifest one physical form of their Bakkotō. However, if this technique is mastered, the user can even call upon two identical manifestations of his Bakkotō.

Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Verutum
Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: In Vita Solerita: Telum, rogues are capable of projecting their Bakkotō into physical weapons. Verutum is also a similar projection of one’s Bakkotō, but its purpose is very different. Rather than creating weapons, Verutum creates projectiles with the durability and piercing strength of one’s Bakkotō. Unlike Telum, however, it relies on both life force and reiatsu. The user may choose whether the projectile is pointed or blunt. If sharp, it will have a piercing strength equal to the user’s release. If blunt, instead it’s impact strength will be equal to their release’s piercing strength. At 100 reiatsu and life force, the result is either a thin bolt or a small golf-sized ball with the relative speed of Byakurai. At 150 reiatsu and life force, the projectile will be larger. It will either be a pointed blast as tall as a basketball player or a man-sized sphere, moving at about the speed of Shakkaho. At 250 reiatsu and life force, one can launch a pointed blast or sphere as large as a freight train. Now, here’s where things get cool. By paying 600 reiatsu and life force, the projectile could be as large as a skyscraper. However, at this final stage, they’ll be much slower, only traveling at around 400 speed. Still, the destructive force of its impact is detrimental.
How to Use: Pay the cost and activate. When learned or proficient, the user is only capable of casting the technique from one of their hands. However, when this technique is mastered, the user can get more creative with where they cast Verutum from in the same way that one can when mastering kido.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: The reiatsu and life force costs of Verutum are listed above. Because of the dual cost, Verutum is more taxing on one’s stamina than average techniques. Therefore, it’s much less spammable than kido. Lastly, Verutum hurts to use. It scales in a manner that’s similar to the Technique Master drawback. Using the lowest level only feels like a sunburn on the arm that casts the technique. Activating the second level feels more like a first degree burn. The third makes the user feel like they suffered like third or second degree burns. The last level of Verutum forces the user to experience the pain of a scorching hot metal searing into their skin, burning past it toward the muscle, nerves, and bone. It is safe to say that most are incapable of using the highest level of this technique more than once a thread.

Drawbacks: Same drawbacks as the Reiatsu Strength conversion. Cannot be used to exceed the 3x stat rule. Counts as a short term stat bonus. Additionally, due to this being an unnatural increase of physical strength there is a risk of muscle damage based on the percentage of increase. A 25% increase will produce soreness in the limb(s) increased, a 50% increase will cause serious pain in the arm but still make it usable. A 100% increase will cause serious muscle damage, lowering the limb's usability to below 25% of its normal use. A 200% increase will render the arm useless due the breaking of bones and tearing of muscles.

{Class 1 Techniques}Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Unstoppable Monster
Technique Class: 1 - 250 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: Few know about the dark Vita Solerita known simply as Unstoppable Monster, and most of those who do know assume that it’s a myth, a legend made by Shinigami in order to help demonize Rogues. Unfortunately, this technique does exist, and the few who know it are capable of becoming horrifying to behold in combat. Unstoppable Monster is in many ways the ultimate Life Force defensive technique, but comes at a terrible cost. While the technique is active, the user feels no pain and cannot be fatigued. Types with Stamina drawbacks do not suffer them. In addition, anytime they would be struck by an attack, they may give up 400 Life Force to temporarily gain a defensive armor equal to twice their Spiritual Pressure which follows Hierro rules and disappears after that one specific attack has resolved. This potentially negates the damage of the attack, although the rogue will still lose Life Force upon impact. Suffice it to say, killing a Rogue that has activated this technique is absurdly difficult.
How to Use: Recite the Incantation and activate the technique.
Incantation: This technique, unlike most Vita Solerita, has an incantation that must be recited. (“So now it has come to this, and I am forced to give up my life to end yours. Tonight, things will function differently, and the world will change. Tonight, the foxes hunt the hounds. Pray to your gods, for your life is over.”)
Drawbacks: This technique comes at the ultimate cost. Once it has been activated, it cannot be deactivated until the thread is over, and it drains a fifth of the Rogue’s remaining Life Force at the end of each post. The Rogue’s Dark Aura instantly becomes 100, and they lose the ability to feel compassion or love. This technique doesn’t actually make the person immune to damage that they’ve already taken, merely unable to feel the drawbacks of it, meaning that their movement will worsen wounds. The spiritual armor activation only works against one attack at a time meaning a barrage of attacks is still as effective. The technique also costs an initial expenditure of 500 Reiatsu and 500 Life Force to activate, not to mention the very lengthy incantation. This technique is also automatically terminated if the Rogue loses consciousness, and thus all the pain and fatigue will hit them in full force when they regain consciousness, potentially driving them insane.

Technique Type: Vita Solerita.

Technique Element: N/A.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: The Bakkotō is a parasite that feeds off of its host. While it harms the rogue, it also needs to keep the rogue alive so that it may continue to live off them. This technique is one in which the Bakkotō expands to create a defensive layer over the host, much like an armor. Wherever the Bakkotō lies within the user, it will begin to expand. By paying 100 reiatsu and life force, the user may have the Bakkotō form a partial armor of spiritual steel over the nearest region of the body. For example, if the Bakkotō resides in the user’s arm, the armor will only stretch up to the user’s shoulder, protecting the full arm. If the Bakkotō is in the user’s chest or abdomen, it will protect the user’s front and back, but not their head or limbs. And so on. However, if the user pays 300 reiatsu and life force, the armor will cover their entire body. It will move with the user so as not to inhibit them, creating a very flexible yet sturdy defense. Its durability is equal to that of the user's release weapon.
Despite being composed of spiritual steel, the armor is very in-tune with the user, almost like an exoskeleton of their body. It can even trigger Cutback if a susceptible target strikes it. But that’s not it's only special property. If the user anticipates a heavy impact, they may pay an additional cost of 200 reiatsu and life force to completely negate the force of that impact. This is only effective if the impact is not strong enough to break the armor. The purpose of property is for the armor to not only withstand the force of a punch but also prevent the user from being knocked into the air by that force.
How to Use: Pay the cost and activate.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: This defense is anything but perfect. Firstly, the only gap in the armor are slots for the eyes. Still, with the user’s ears and nose covered, all their senses except for vision will be reduced to 50. Also, the armor greatly increases the stamina drain of fast-paced movement due to its extra weight. Without the armor, individuals could move at 300 speed without fatiguing, but now, that cap is reduced to just 200 speed. More so, it is still made of spiritual steel, so the armor has the same weaknesses as metal. It is prone to overheating, so cooking the user within the armor is twice as easy. Furthermore, the conductive nature of the metal makes electricity or lightning-based attacks twice as effective against the target. Because the armor is an extension of the Bakkotō, if it is broken, the user’s release will automatically end and they will not be able to release for another 3 posts. The armor lasts 5 posts before the user must refresh the cost.

Technique Name: Vita Solerita: Unlimited Power
Technique Class: 1 - 250 TTP
Technique Type: Vita Solerita.
Usable By: Rogues.
Technique Element: Lightning.
Technique Cost: Varies.
Description: To use life force is to manipulate the very energy that executes necessary bodily functions. Among these functions are the critical electric nerve impulses constantly firing across the body. Those who have truly mastered Vita Solerita are capable of using this technique to harness their neural network for offensive purposes. Users of this technique are so powerful and so wise they could use the life force to influence their nerves to create life.
With all their might, user must flex whatever muscle they're using as the source of this ability. From that muscle, they nerves will fire with so much excess power that they generate a blast of electricity. If this technique is learned, the electricity will be the size of a thin Byakurai. If the user is proficient with it, the size will increase to that of a Raikoho. And if the user has mastered this ability, the lightning will be the size of a two bedroom apartment. The lightning burns through anything and everything it touches, incinerating all in its path. Furthermore, it acts less like a single projectile and more like a constant stream of lightning. During the post that this technique is active, the user can constantly aim the electricity like water coming out of a hose.
Because this technique stems from the user's own body, it is not dependent on reiatsu strength. Instead, it has a static offensive power of 1000. However, the user can choose to increase the force behind the technique by paying reiatsu as well. For every 150 reiatsu and 50 extra life force paid, the offensive power of Unlimited Power will increase by 100. This caps out at 300 reiatsu and 100 extra life spent to boost the power behind the technique to 1200.
How to Use: This technique can be utilized through any living flesh connected to the user's body unless it has its own independent reiatsu strength or spiritual pressure. This means even non-living souls can be catalysts for this technique. To activate, the user must pay life force. In order to increase its offensive power, reiatsu must also be sacrificed.
Incantation: N/A.
Drawbacks: This technique costs a whooping 800 life force. In addition to that, it costs additional reiatsu and life force to increase its offensive power, capping out at 1050 life force and 1000 reiatsu. But even these pale in comparison to the true sacrifice. This technique demolishes the nerves of the source of the lightning. Thus, it can only be used from the limbs. If the user attempts to channel lightning from their torso or head, they will die immediately due to a complete shutdown of their central nervous system.
But what happens to the limbs after they use this technique? After the first use, the limb will suffer 1st/2nd degree burns and become deadweight for one full post. After they second use of this technique, the limb will be charred with 3rd/4th degree burns and become deadweight for two full posts. After the third use of this technique in the same thread, the limb will die. All the cells within it will be irreparable and undergo apoptosis, programmed cell death. If the user fails to receive medical assistance within a day, the bacteria feeding on their dead skin will infect their main body and die. While the death of a limb can be repaired in an NDE thread, using this technique three times in a DE thread will result in permanent loss of the limb.
It is important to note that the user can refresh the cost of the technique (the full cost, both life force and reiatsu) in the middle of its use to extend the duration of the stream of lightning for an additional post. This would count as a second use. The user can extend its duration for a maximum of three posts before the limb in use dies and the technique is forced to end.
