The Serpent and the Shinigami [Social-Fight (light pvp)]

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru watched as he pushed into her blade after his block, locking the blades together. She pushed back against him as hard as she could, but before any of that really happened, she watched as Zegram had a smile on his face. He then booped her nose and pushed himself away a few feet from her. She kinda stood there for a second or two just thinking about what he had just done in the middle of a fight. He really booped her on the nose, during a fight.

She was a little dumbfounded by that. But, thankfully, it didn't distract her for too long. He then swept his leg out to try to knock her to the ground. Since it was an easy motion, she quickly moved her sword down, blade facing Zegram, in the hopes of nicking him with her sword while he was trying to get her. "Well, it was interesting that you felt the need to boop my nose like that. I've never fought with someone that actually did that. This is turning out to be an interesting fight."

[Zegram]

"I am glad you think so." He said as he allowed himself to get nicked as he thrust up at her exposed left shoulder with his sword. It was still odd for him to not go for the chest where the organs are kept. He didn't want to hurt her to that point. Then he would not be able to eat with her at all. If she blocked the thrust he would push himself up and tackle her to the ground and bring his left arm back to punch at her side around her kidney area.

Hotaru watched as he actually got nicked by her blade. It seemed like she was the first to draw blood in this fight. It was interesting to fight against him. It seemed that Arrancar fight like shinigami do. She would remember that. Or, at least, this arrancar fought like shinigami. For some reason, she thought that they might be more physical fighters, due to the hollow nature, but she assumed some couldn't be, based off what Zegram was doing.

She saw him go after her left shoulder with his sword. She quickly moved her sword to block his and pushed both of the swords together. She got pretty close to Zegram's face and returned the favor by booping his nose. After she did that, she pushed off and was about four feet away from Zegram. She stood at the ready, sword out, ready for him to attack her. Or, for anything else he might pull out of his hat.

[Zegram]

Zegram stood and ran towards her. She was just as playful as he was. This fight was really becoming something he liked. When he was within swords length of her he used his sonido to appear behind her and quickly turn around to face her. He slashed at her back with a quick back hand slash from left to right, then coming back with a normal horizontal slash. He would also fallow up with a bala aimed straight at her chest from his left fist. The ball of crimson energy would fly fast from the short distance making it hard to dodge unless she could tell right off he was firing a bala.

She watched as he started to run at her. She continued to keep her composure as he did so. Taking a deep breath, she tried to figure out what why he would attack her from. Right before he practically touched his sword, he disappeared. She tried to think of what he would actually do once he disappeared. She kept in mind that it seemed like everybody had a step technique like the shinigami.

She started to turn around once he appeared and turned around himself. Right when he started to slash at her, she performed another Shunpo Eichi. Since they were so close, it seemed like that Shunpo would be more effective. Once she Shunpo'ed, she appeared at his right side. Since her sword was already out, she slashed at him from right to left, aiming at his midsection. This fight was getting rather interesting between them and she was curious to see who would win.

[Zegram]

He noticed that she was readying another shunpo and was ready for this one. He didn't know if it was the same as the one from before, but he was not going to take a chance on that. As she used her shunpo, Zegram used his sonido to move just out of range of the blast and out of reach of her sword. It seemed that they had a similar fighting style. Neither of them were brutes, but fought with their heads instead. Well lets see how she deal with this. He thought with a sly smile. 

"Your good, but lets kick this up a notch." He smiled as he held his sword in front of him. "Bite into your enemies Doku Kiba!" He shouted. His physical appearance started to change drastically. The lower half of his bod became serpentine expanding to a full five feet length of muscles and white scales. Blake diamonds trailed down his body ending with a large red rattle. A large red diamond appeared on his chest and a black cobra's hood grew from behind his head. His head became more snake like and a forked tongue darted from his mouth.

He extended his left hand and another sword formed out of crystallized poison. He smiled looking down at her as he reared up to his full height. "What do you think of my released form?" He asked in a hiss. He darted forward before she could answer trying to wrap himself around her. He slashed at her shoulder again with his zanpakuto then jabbed three times with his poison sword. If she took a hit, he would use his nerve explosion venom trying to use the intense pain to incapacitate her quickly. If she blocked them or some of them, then the dust would be converted to sluggard venom and slow her down.

Hotaru noticed that he had used his step technique to get away from what she had planned. He wasn't going to stay around to take any chances. He was definitely a smart one. It seemed like they were a little similar. He used his head to try to get away from her attacks, and she would do the same. She would use her strength when necessary to power through attacks, but she has learned that sometimes a surprise attack works better.

Zegram then said to take it up a notch. He smiled and said bite into your enemies Doku Kiba. It seemed that an Arrancar release is much like a shinigami release. She watched as he turned into a huge cobra. While he was changing, she did the same. "Burn, Rivu~aiasan!" Her sword changed to a flaming sword and her cannon appeared on her left arm. Hopefully, this would even the odds.

She watched him reach his full height and she had to admit, it was pretty impressive. Especially when he formed a new sword out of some kind of crystal stuff. He then asked in a hiss what she thought of his released form. He then darted forward, using his speed. Before he could reach her, she used her full speed and Shunpo'ed away, creating an air ground right above him. She pointed her cannon at him and spewed out her liquid at him, hoping to hit him. "What do you think of my release as well Zegram?"

Zegram looked up at her gripping both swords tightly. He used his sonido to appear behind her again grabbing her around her arms with his own. He would then wrap his body around hers holding her securely. He was not sure what the liquid was that came out of that cannon was, but he wasn't going to touch it and find out. If she managed to escape or not, he would use his venomous vestment technique. A thin membrane of both his Venom Paralysis poison, and his Delirium brew would coat his body. If she stayed in his grasp she would be entire body would be subjected to the paralysis effects of the poison and her senses would be attacked by the Delirium brew.

"Very interesting indeed. Shinigami released are always full of surprises, but make no mistake Hotaru, i have many tricks up my own sleeves." He would then strike out with his Zanpakuto and his poison sword. Again if he managed to cut her with the venom sword, he would inject the nerve explosion venom into her causing mass amounts of pain. If she blocked it he would use the sluggard venom to slow her down. He was playing for keeps now. He was only holding back from using the more lethal poisons in his arsenal.

Hotaru watched as he seemed to be pretty pissed off. She was glad that she was able to get away. Then, he disappeared again. She didn't know exactly where he would be until she felt his presence behind her. Before she could get away, his arms wrapped around hers. It seemed that he was trying to get her for some kind of attack. While he was trying to get her body held securely, she powered through his arms, using her cannon to spray liquid in his face and tried to at least have her fire sword touch him somewhere on the body.

She then quickly moved her cannon to her legs and sprayed more of the liquid there. With the help of her liquid and strength, she was able to get out of his grasp. She noticed that he seemed to be covered in some kind of membrane thing, and she hoped she got away fast enough, but she wasn't sure. Once she got out of his grip, however, she quickly performed a Shunpo Eichi to get away and land back on the ground.

[Zegram]

She was a slippery one for sure. She was able to squirm her way away from him, but the Venomous Vestment was already in place. All he needed was contact with one body part and her ankle was the last thing in his grasp before she got away. She would feel her muscles not respond as well to her brains commands and her senses would go haywire. He wiped his face of the liquid that hit his face. Before he rushed her at full speed jabbing with both his swords at the same time fallowing his tail. He wanted to smash his heavy, club like rattle into her side to knock the wind out of her then fallow up with the venom sword trying to cut her leg.

Time: Delayed (one post)
Delivery: Contact or Bloodstream
Effect: When this venom makes contact with the skin, or enters the blood, the toxins target the nerves and muscles attacking them and causing a temporary paralysis. The leg will feel heavy and the muscles will be unresponsive to the brains signals between the attack on the nerves and the muscles themselves. Their physical stats are reduced by 20% for 3 posts.
Resistance: Each point in Poison Resist reduces the duration by 1 post, meaning a 3 Poison resist negates this entirely. If the individual has over 600 in either Speed or Strength, they are capable of pushing through the muscle resistance, reducing the effect to a 10% reduction to both.

Name: Delirium Brew
Time: Delayed (One Posts)
Delivery: Contact (With Soft Tissues) or Inhaled
Effect: Delirium Brew is a poison that preys on the senses, or rather the neurons that read the input from the senses and process that information. Delirium Brew alters any received information from sensory organs in bizarre ways, making the world either full of color, or grey scale; silent, or full of noises that sound somewhat like The Beatles singing in Sanskrit; etc. It also links senses together, giving the person temporary synesthesia. This lasts 8 posts.
Resistance: Per point in Poison Resist, the effect’s duration is reduced by 2 posts. Similarly, per in Illusion Resist, the duration is reduced by 2. This does not stack with the Poison Resist (take whichever is higher). Battle Focus of 3 will allow this effect to be ignored after the two posts, as the individual becomes used to the differences in reality, as does a Calm Mind of 3. Delirium Brew doesn’t affect Energy Sensory in any way, allowing that to overcome it with clever application.

Once Hotaru slipped out, she immediately lit her liquid on fire. So, even though he was wiping the liquid off, now all of the liquid on him was on fire. Even if there were little droplets left on his face, those would spark. The only way for him to kill the fire was by her doing. So, it wasn't happening anytime soon. While the fire was starting to form on his body, he started to come at her straight on.

So, he really was meaning business this time. It looked like he wasn't too happy with what she's done so far. At least she was showing how strong she was. He was also showing how strong he was as well. This was going to be an interesting fight now. He was rushing her now, with both swords out, ready to jab at her. Since he was just coming at her, she stuck her cannon out as quick as she could and spewed out her liquid at him. Right before his swords touched, she Shunpoed out to her right.

[Zegram]

Zegram dropped both his swords patting at his face trying to put out the flames licking his flesh. some of the flames were close to his eyes, but lucky for him they wouldn't do any damage to his eyes. He waved his surrender as he writhed around on the ground. His face and chest was burning and there was nothing he could do about it. He was panicking at this point. The first time he panicked in a fight. He just needed the pain to stop. He recognized her skill and didn't want this to go on any longer.

"Ok, ok I give just help put me out!" He shouted rolling around on the ground. His serpentine body thrashed and flailed around which would make it difficult for her to get close to him if she needed to. His white scales were turning a very angry red as the seconds went by. Zegram was nearly dragging his face on the rooftop they stood on.

[Hotaru Kuchiki-Masurao]

Hotaru watched as he was just rolling around in pain from her flames. Once she heard him say that he gave, she immediately willed the flames to cease. She didn't want him to get too hurt. This was just a spar after all. When she willed the flames to cease, they did so immediately. She walked over to see if he was alright. Well, she tried to walk over to see if he was alright. It was starting to get harder for her to actually move.

Her entire body felt like it weighed tons. She guessed that this was his strength, poison. It seems like he was the one that won the fight instead of her. She tried to even move over to where he was, but it wasn't really working. She spoke as loud as she could. "I guess you actually won the fight, since you poisoned me first before I lit you on fire." She slurred the last part. She then flopped down on the ground, unable to move.

[Zegram]

Zegram sat up hearing her fall to the rooftop. He smiled slightly despite the pain of the burns on his face. He reverted back to his normal form and his poison blade disintegrated in his hand. He walked to her and flipped her over on her back so she would be a little more comfortable. He decided to take advantage of her paralyzed state and rest his head on her bosom with a playful smile. Any facial movement hurt like hell, but it was worth it to him. He laid on his back with his head turned to face her.

"I can argue that you won since I gave up before the poison took effect." He thought for a moment before turning his head to the sky and closing his golden eyes. "How about we just say we tied, and we go get something to eat after you can move. It may take a few minutes so I hope your comfy." He chuckled lightly searching for his fedora which blew off in the fighting. He found it hung on a peice of the material on the roof. He grabbed it and put it next to him.

She saw him revert to his normal form. She tried, and she reverted back very slowly. Rivu~aiasan, I can't really seal you back very well. Please do me the favor of sealing yourself. It seems that the poison he hit me with is preventing that from happening. She felt his nod and her sword was immediately sealed. Her sword was still out when she saw Zegram walking towards her.

She was thankful when he flipped her over, so she could breath better and see more than the ceiling. But, now, it was like all the colors were way brighter and blurring together, so she squinted to look up. She watched as he got on the ground and then laid his head on her chest. She didn't know if her head was beet red or not, but she felt like blushing. He was just smiling at her while staying in the same position, looking at her.

She was furious! But, she couldn't move, so she had to just endure it. He said that he wanted to call it a tie and go for something to eat after she could move. He warned and he said that she hoped she was comfy. "I'm not a big fan of laying on roofs or having people just randomly laying on my chest. So, I could actually be comfier, but thanks for asking all the same." She stared up at the sky, waiting to see what would happen next.
