Hotaru watched the other Arrancar when Itami said his name. It seemed as though he didn't know it, which was a good thing for Itami. When she looked back towards Itami after he tossed the pastry, thankfully not an eclair, she noticed that he was way on guard. It looked like he was ready to spring at a moment's notice. She thought that it must be horrible to be like that all the time. She would hate to live that way.
Next, Zegram said that he was here on no orders but his own. He wanted to visit the world of the living to see how much of it has changed since he was last here. He then said that they should sit, since he thought it was more comfortable than standing. She agreed with him on that one. He walked around her to sit right next to where she was sitting. She walked over and sat in between the two Arrancars, grabbing her drink and pastries. Zegram then said that he didn't catch the lovely lady's name, meaning her. She drank a little of her coffee and debated how much of her name she should say. "Hotaru."

Itami was still on edge, he just couldn't let his guard down really. If he were to slipped even once then that'll be the end of it. In a way i guess you could say it's fear, but he could hardly trust anyone especially when someone could be possibly after him. It's just something he is used to, his survival instincts kicks in pretty much in autodrive and it's what kept him alive. Of course he hadn't encountered much Arrancars either for the past 3 months now. But that doesn't mean there's going to be somebody after him.
However, it seemed Zegram didn't seem to know his name, which is a good thing for Itami. So he relaxed a little as his shoulders seemed to be loosened from the tension that was built around him. Itami picks up another of his lemon filled doughnuts and takes a bite out of it while keeping an eye on not just Zegram but also on the Hollows that's maybe half a mile away from them. They weren't doing anything hazardous yet though, so Itami doesn't see the need to jump in just yet. It just seemed like the Hollows are just taking a stroll in the night, almost like how the three of them are right now.
"Well then, forgive my behavior Zegram. It's been rather... rough for the past few months." Itami explains rather vaguely to Zegram before he took a sip of his iced coffee. The cold yet sweet liquid runs down his throat and makes him realize just how dry his throat was. Though i suppose that happens when he doesn't drink anything for about 4 days. Itami was rather the cautious type, though not as much as when he first met Hotaru, this one was different because there are Arrancars that knew him personally. Even if it would be like a 5 second conversation total, he was still part of the Espada. However those people are rather close, which is why he's on his toes almost 24/7 since the day he left the Espada for he served no one other than Septima. Now that she's gone, he serves no one but the realm itself.
Zegram waved away the apology and smiled leaning forward to see him on the other side of Hotaru. He ate his doughnut slowly. He couldn't take a lot of sweetness at any given time. He preferred spicy, and sour food over sweet, but he still wanted to be polite. He knew what it was like to have a rough life. He knew all too well. "Hey don't worry about it. I don't expect everyone to be perfectly fine when an Arrancar comes by." He laughed and leaned slightly closer to Hotaru. "Though I am sort of surprised by the comfort you Shinigami's show around us Hotaru, your the second one I met that would converse with an Arrancar on friendly terms.

Hotaru watched the Arrancar talk. She was able to finish one eclair and started working on another. It was interesting that this Arrancar was so easy going. She figured that most Arrancar, besides Itami, attacked first, killed the person, then asked questions. It was interesting that the first two Arrancar that she meets don't actually want to attack her outright, but just talk and for the one called Zegram, flirt.
She noticed when Zegram leaned in closer to her. She arched her right eyebrow, waiting for what he would say. He said that he was surprised by the comfort that the Shinigami show around them, meaning Arrancars. It seems that he's met another shinigami that would talk to an Arrancar by friendly terms. The statement kind of surprised her. But, she was curious who this shinigami would be. She took a sip from her iced coffee and asked, "Would you tell me who it was if I were to guess their name correctly? I'm curious about this other shinigami that would act like me."

Itami pretended like he wasn't paying any attention to the two. If anything he felt like he didn't belong here was when Zegram flirts with Hotaru. Though, Itami figures that he might as well endure it beings that he's already here, drinking coffee, and eating his doughnuts. What more could he ask for honestly? Itami was of course listening to their conversation, though he doesn't really know what to say about the flirting part so he keeps his mouth shut the entire time. It's really none of his business, so why should he butt in?
So to pass time as they talked, Itami was more concentrated on the Hollows down below more than anything else. Itami sadly never knew when to actually sit down and 'take a load off.' Or whatever the humans say after a long day of work. Nor does he even know what relationships are about. Not that he cares nor gives a crap about it, it's just stating the truth honestly. He had to focus solely on surviving, even if it means being alone. Though he doesn't love solitude, then again there's nothing that he really loves either.
Zegram straightened slightly as he thought back to when he fought the Shinigami in the old house. He laughed at the thought that he took Zegram's arm off quite literally. He looked at her once the name returned to his mind. He took off his fedora and set it beside him as he finished his doughnut. "I remember him saying that his name was Takashi, Takashi Kuchiki. Does that name ring any bells?" He asked wondering if other Shinigami knew much about each other. As far as Zegram knew, Arrancars were mostly solitary people unless they were fighting and or working together. He only assumed Shinigami were the same unless told otherwise.
He looked at Itami feeling a little rude that he was leaving the other Arrancar out of the conversation. He always tires to be civil at the least to anyone when he is not in a battle. "Seems like you are on the look out for something. Would you care to tell us in case we are at any risk of being attacked?" He said it with a joking tone confident that Itami wouldn't divulge such information just like that. It was just something to get him talking and hopeful more comfortable. That way he could get more out of him.

Hotaru watched as Zegram was thinking back to that time. She had one good idea of who it could be and it would surprise her if it was anyone else. Once he finished the doughnut, he said that he remembered that he said his name was Takashi Kuchiki. SHE KNEW IT! Only Takashi would do that. It really didn't surprise her much. "I definitely know Takashi. I also bet he cut off at least one limb when you met him. He cut off my feet, but thankfully he took me to a hosptial so they were able to be reattached." She moved her feet when she said the last part.
She then looked over to Itami. She felt bad because it looked like to her, based off body language, that he was left out. She never meant for that to happen. She was glad when Zegram decided to ask questions. She knew that he was always on guard and the way he left the last time, it seemed that he was always trying to keep tabs on the hollows in the area as well. It had to be a strain on him. She just looked at him and smiled encouragingly.

'Did they have to put me in the spot like that?' Itami thought as he just bit into his doughnut when both of them looked him while Zegram was asking him a question. Of course he didn't really mind that they were asking, it was the type of question that Zegram asked. Sure Zegram stated that he wasn't under orders from anyone, and the fact that Zegram didn't seem to know him which he wanted to keep it that way honestly. All the 'friends' that he considered during the Espada are now dead, so he's basically left alone again.
After Itami swallowed down the bite, he was considering on what to say and how to say in order to answer Zegram's question. "I suppose you could say i'm watching for the stars. Never know when you see something new until it hits you." Quite literally too, i mean heck meeting a Shinigami that turned out to be Hotaru was something new to him altogether. It was always kill on sight with him from EVERY race in existence. He bites into his doughnut again as if to say 'and thats all im saying.'
Zegram had the feeling that he wasn't getting the whole story, but again he didn't expect to. He let that question drop as a roar of a hallow in the distance caught his attention. Hallows of these class were always loud and obnoxious to him. All they think about is eating and eating. They defiantly seem active tonight. Zegram leaned back lacing his fingers behind his head as he looked up at the stars. He remembered the nights where he would lay on the roof of a building near his home and look at the stars when he couldn't sleep. When she told him about Takashi and her feet he chuckled pointing to his left shoulder. "He took my entire arm off" He drew a line from above his shoulder all the way through to show where the cut was. "He was a tough one."

Hotaru listened to what Itami had to say. She wasn't really surprised by what he said. After he spoke, she heard the roar of the hollow when Zegram did. She knew he was following them then and he just made up something on the spot. It seemed that he didn't really open up to anybody, which seemed to be sad to her. I guess his Espada was his only trusted person and with that person gone, he had no one. It made her feel sad for him, to lost someone that precious.
She looked up at the stars. They were so beautiful right now. She finished her second eclair and took another sip from her iced coffee. She then looked over at Zegram when she heard him chuckling. He then said that he took his entire arm off and he showed it on his arm where he hit him. He then mentioned that he was a tough one. "Yeah he is. I just don't get why he has to chop limbs off of almost everybody he fights with. I think he goes a little bit overboard. I hope that one day, I'll get to chop his feet off."

For a brief moment, Itami's eyes flashed in crimson red the second he heard the hollow. He quickly finished his doughnut however he still has two left on the side with his half empty iced coffee. One was the eclair and the other was the lemon filled. Itami knew his work just progressed another step as he locates the general area where the howling was coming from. Once he found that, his mind clicked into assassination mode.
He didn't speak another word to either of them as he Sonido to land about three buildings down with just a tap of his foot before he Sonidos again to go about four more buildings down. His objective was to eliminate the Hollow, and only kill not devour it. It was just part of his self appointed job that he undertaken to maintain a balance of Hollows and Souls. it was the least he could do, perhaps it's the other half that's Shinigami speaking his true nature out. While his main half is Hollow, or just Arrancar as a whole.
Sonido x2 - 200
Reiatsu; 300/500
(Edit: Sorry i thought it cost the same as Shunpo for some reason.)
When Itami got up and quickly ran off, no doubt to fight the hallow, Zegram looked at Hotaru. He could just sit here an talk with her now that they were alone, but he was curios about why Itami was so concerned about the hallow, and he figured that Hotaru would most likely fallow him as well. "Well then, shall we fallow him?" he asked before he used his own sonido to catch up with Itami. He kept pace with the other Arrancar looking at him with one eye as he kept track of where he was going with another.
"So, what has gotten you so worked up?" he asked curiously. His snake like smile spread across his lips as he asked. Itami was intriguing to say the least. He seemed to be hiding for someone but who? It seems that he is most nervous around other Arrancar and hallows, so that must mean that whoever is after him is either from the Escudo like himself, or the Espada, or maybe both for all he knew.

Hotaru watched as something flipped in Itami. He was quickly finishing what he was eating and looking for something. It was then that she heard it. It was the sound of a hollow's roar. It was fairly loud, it was the only reason she could sense it at all. It was a little too far away for her to actually sense it. It seemed he found what he was looking for and ran off. It looked like a Shunpo, but that must be the Sonido she's heard about, the arrancar form of Shunpo.
Zegram then looked towards her. She was really curious if she was going to continue his harmless flirting or go after Itami to help with the hollow. If he had continued to talk, she would have to politely excuse herself to go help. Thankfully, he said that they should follow. She was going to do that already, but it was interesting that he was going. He barely knew them and he was going off. He seemed to be either really curious about Itami, bored, or wanting to kill the hollow for himself.
Once he had Sonido'ed off himself, she caught up to them with Shunpo. She finally was able to catch up with them. Right when she arrived, she barely heard the question that Zegram asked him. She knew that the hollow had to be close by. She walked up to them, unsheathing her sword. She stood near Itami and got in her fighting stance. "I can't seem to sense this hollow very well. Please let me know which way I need to attack, Itami-kun."

Well this was certainly a surprise to Itami. He honestly didn't expected to get followed by these two. Especially Zegram, though Itami was prepared to retaliate against any attack from anywhere. However it seemed like that was unnecessary for Zegram seems to be curious on Itami's behavior. It's nothing against anyone personally, though that's up to both beings to decide what his intentions are.
Itami glances over at Zegram when he asked what got Itami all worked up. 'I suppose it's no point denying my intentions.' He stops the Sonido mainly because he doesn't want to exhaust his limited Reiatsu. However that doesn't stop him from running air ground beings the Reiatsu in this world is incredibly light. "You should know as well as I. When a Hollow starts howling like that it means only two conclusions. Either it feels threatened or it's going on a rampage. Before that can happen for any unnecessary deaths, I'm practically putting them out of their misery... In a way." Itami sometimes does get bored hunting down Hollows that goes berserk, and thus causes things to get very bloody.
Then Hotaru appears out of her Shunpo, though this didn't really surprise Itami for his expression remains the same. What seemed rather odd is that she practically offers her assistance and asked where the Hollow was. Truth is, there seems to be more than one Hollow in one spot just ahead. For it feels like maybe ten? Fifteen Hollows maybe? Itami couldn't make it out clearly. He quickly conceals his energy to almost nothing as he slightly turns his head to Hotaru when she asked where the Hollows were exactly. 'Kun?' That was the question that popped in his head when she added kun after his name. "Up ahead, about three buildings away. Seems to be a national park of some kind. There is more than one though, how many I'm not certain."
Zegram looked at both Itami and Hotaru. He listened to the hallows within the park howling again much louder now that they were standing closer. He took his off his fedora and twirled it around his index finger. He wanted to be smart about this. He didn't know the fighting abilities of Itami or Hotaru. He looked around at all the buildings letting his battle plan come together. He can sense the hallows and smiled nodding as he concluded his plan. He tossed his hat up in the air and caught it as he put it back on his head.
"Alright I have a plan. We spread out around the park and attack from three sides while they are unaware. I will use a cero to alert them to me. Then when they are distracted you two come in from the sides taking at least two or four down before they figure out what is going on. We don't know how many there are or how strong they really, so we have to be smart about this, and lucky for us, strategy is my strong suit." He looked to each of them to make sure that they agreed and understood the plan.
This was going to be one of the first times that he had to really work with people that he did not know. When he is on missions for the Escudo, he would allow others to lead if he needed to be in a group. The role of a strategist was an nice fit for him. He didn't like the term leader. It put too much responsibility on him. As a strategist he just had to make sure that his strategies worked, and if not he can come up with something on the fly.
