Height/Weight: [6'2"/148 lbs.]
Physical Description: [Gilles is a white man of average height, measuring six foot two, with short brown hair, not that you could tell. His head is always topped with a feather-trimmed black hat that covers almost all of his hair and sits perfectly on the top of his ears. From under the wide brim of the hat, Gilles' grey eyes are clearly visible, as well as his impressive facial hair. His mustache and beard are trimmed in an elegant french fashion, though retain their manly bulk of bushiness. His eyebrows are also quite full as there is no woman that would dare pluck at his face. Behind the hair, his face is fairly youthful, though still starts to show the lines of middle age that is fast approaching the physical form of the Quincy. His skin, though slightly shaded by the large hat, is still clearly a slightly tanned tone.
There are typically two types of outfits that Gilles wears. For his combat/military garb he wears tight black clothing with the pant legs wrapped up just above his Renaissance Era boots, along with black silk gloves. The outfit is kept in a pristine manner behooving that of a Vandenreich Captain, and it is routinely washed, pressed, and kept absolutely perfect. Over top of the black clothing is a long gold-trimmed blue cloak with the insignia of the Vandenreich blazoned upon it and at his side is a sword scabbard, which is unusual for a Quincy, with a Seele Schneider thrust into it. The outfit is of a Renaissance Musketeer, a culture of people that Gilles is fanatic about.
The second kind of clothing that the Quincy wears is much more casual. As a Captain of the Holy Vandenreich Army, his job is to train the weaker Quincy, and as a result he needs to wear something that fits a little better than a cape. During training sessions, he generally wears a skin tight black suit that shows a less than stellar muscular system. He's not fat, nor flabby, he's just kinda average. He's not overly bulky nor lean, a result of training the mind much more than training the body. When training other Quincy in the ways of the Vandenreich, and in the ways of the Glorious Emperor, the Seele Schneider and scabbard are generally left out of the outfit so as to train the Quincy in the pure ways of the bow rather than Gilles own different ways.
Underneath the clothing that Gilles wears, there are numerous scars across his body, centered on the wrists and neck. These were cuts that started shallow, and eventually got deeper, cuts that were made on purpose for training reasons, to prepare the body for pain and bleeding. This is the most outwardly physical signs of the intense Quincy training that Gilles received as a Private, working his way up the ranks through blood sweat and tears to become a Captain. Bruises go away, but the myriad of thin scars remain. There is even a large scar two inches left of the heart, where his Quincyfication took place.
Gilles’ Quincy Cross is pretty standard, appearing as a small bracelet around his wrist with the cross as a charm on it. There is a jewel at the center, a ruby, that glistens in the sunlight due to its dazzling purity. The bracelet itself is made up of fine silver, an elegant piece that compliments his Musketeer garb. His Mask Fragment also is quite elegant. It is an ebony half-mask made up in a Renaissance style that fits perfectly over his face, matching the contours just so that it needs no string to hold it up, nor anything else. The mask fragment is devoid of any markings, simply being a pure white, and smooth, addition to his face, however it does hide his awesome mustache in an awkward manner.

Overall Personality:
Gilles is a bit of a Jester at heart, always appearing to be upbeat and cheery. his walk always has a skip in its step and a bit of music in his stride. A hum is on his lips at most times, for he simply enjoys life. Gilles spends his time mostly alone, exploring the beauty of the world that belongs to the Emperor. The Emperor owns everything by force of might and power of authority. All beings are beneath Him and as such are forfeit things like life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Gilles is a devoted follower of the Emperor, owing a life-debt to the god who brought him up out of obscurity. Serving in His Holy Army is the least that Gilles can do to repay the god. It also serves to complete his fantasies about being a musketeer.
Honor is very important to the Quincy, even if his understanding of it is twisted. Honor, to Gilles, involves doing nothing that is untrue to the nature of the Emperor. Conquest, destruction, genocide, these can be honorable things that are fine to do. However, he is also conflicted by the Honor of the Musketeers. In an approximately 50/50 balance, Honor is caused in a more traditional sense by granting enemies their lives so that they may know the glory of the Emperor more fully, among other things that the Musketeers would do. Even though genocide and murder are Honorable, doesn't make it practical or correct for the situation. Usually, the dream of being a musketeer rules out the expressly genocidal Honor of the Emperor, but still, not completing murder or genocide is not expressly dishonorable in the Stern Ritter's twisted mind.
There is one thing about Gilles that he shares with next to no other Vandenreich, much less any other Stern Ritter. He likes Shinigami. He thinks that they are interesting, the way that they scurry around in their homes like they actually mattered and think that they are an important balance in the world. But balance means nothing. When the Hollow was first born the balance was disrupted. Las Noches doesn't deserve to exist, nor do any hollows. No, complete extermination of Hollows, not conversion, is how order will be found once more. The other Stern Ritter don't understand Gilles, why he pities the shinigami who fail at their most basic of tasks. The other Stern ritter are all doom and gloom, fire and brimstone, but not Gilles. Maybe that's why he's not destined for more than a Captaincy.
Above all else, Gilles. Hates. Rabbits. There is nothing more despicable or filthier or more FEAR INSPIRING than a rabbit. If anything even remotely appears like a rabbit he will nuke it into oblivion, or if it also worships the god-King of the Vandenreich, avoid it completely. Then again, Quincy are usually humans, and until an anthropomorphic soul becomes Quincified, Gilles won’t have to worry about it and can nuke everything related to a bunny that he sees. Only just underneath his hatred of rabbits is his hatred for poodles, as their fluffy composition resembles a rabbit. Those are put out of their misery for looking like a rabbit, just not necessarily nuked. Most of the Vandenreich don’t know why it is that he hates rabbits, save for the Emperor who knows everything and the Quincy that performed the Quincification process.

Fighting Style:
From watching some of movies involving the Renaissance Era and the musketeers, and practicing a little, Gilles has started to get a hang of fencing. He knows some basic maneuvers, such as parrying with a blade and lunging, and has practiced some fancy, but impractical, blade tricks. These are just little things like flicking the blade in a figure eight of other cool, but not combat effective, patterns. He is capable of applying these tricks to an epee or a Seele Schneider as well as any long thin rod he might get his hands on. This skill is more for show and for the discipline of bodily movement rather than combat, and helps him appear like the true musketeer that he dreams of being.
Like most Quincy, Gilles is a master marksman. It’s no trouble to thread a needle at fifty paces with an arrow or other such feats. Alongside his marksmanship is a few unique tricks that he has created. With a physical or reiatsu bow he is capable of firing up to three arrows at the same time that will have a 1 millimeter grouping pattern, delivering large amounts of damage and bleeding to one area. With a reiatsu bow he is capable of firing two arrows almost simultaneously, one slightly slower than the other, so that they fuse on impact with a target, increasing the piercing power of the first arrow by the amount of reiatsu used for the second arrow, up to 50% of the RS value of the first arrow. With his high energy sensory, he’s even able to accurately strike while his eyes are closed or blinded.
With his mastery of multitasking, it’s not an issue to do many things at once, like dodging and striking at the same time or manipulating the path of many arrows at once. His mind is sharp, and each additional task completed simultaneously provides no real issue to him. The simple task of rubbing one’s head and patting one’s belly is possible for him to do while reciting a poem, riding a unicycle, and reading a book. He has also mastered a tolerance for bleeding. This has been caused by numerous training exercises involving slitting the wrists and forcing through the pain and the blood loss. Minor cuts would take days to affect him. Severed fingers would require ten posts to cause him to be woozy, severed limbs five posts, and he can even survive a direct blow to the heart for 2 posts before he blacks out.
The same bleeding tolerance exercises have resulted in a proficiency of pain tolerance. It takes a great amount of pain to force Gilles to succumb to its effects. There are thresholds of pain that he cannot ignore, but these fall in the unearthly pain category. He’s also proficient at acrobatics due to his watching of musketeer films. He knows how to flip and tumble, and even how to combine acrobatics with his archery, such as performing a sideways flip and firing while upside down. Last but not least, Gilles Is skilled at resisting illusions. Low powered ones can simply be ignored, and even higher powered ones are easier to find the kinks in to escape the possibly debilitating attack. All in all, his skills are focused on being a front end fighter that can not only take damage but dish it out.
Gilles isn’t afraid to release. It shows his superiority over the common Quincy and shows why he was made a Stern Ritter. Upon releasing to Final Silence Level 1, his bow becomes a crow bow, which is deceptive. It would seems as though he was limited in his aiming as crossbows are large and bulky, however that couldn’t be further from the truth. His power is deadly and widespread, as arros can fly from any and all directions, and people without high energy sensory will never see them coming. With his high senses, he is able to effectively locate enemies that are even behind him and pierce them through. What makes Gilles most dangerous is his ability to rule the long range and close range battle, using a few tactics.
Obviously as a Quincy he’s effective at long range, but his ability to generate arrows from anywhere allows him to apply a piercing attack to his melee strikes by releasing an arrow on impact, or when nearing impact. As his hands are freed up in Final Silence Level 2 and 3, he generally uses these two levels more than the first one for this purpose. However, he doesn’t need impact to be effective. His arrows can also be used defensively. He can create two arrows going in opposite direction that collide to make a small thin barrier of reiatsu that could stop a sword strike or something if timed correctly. If performed enough, an invisible cage could surround Gilles to keep him safe until an opening is made. And with his accuracy, every shot could be a kill shot if there is enough opening.
Bow Release Level 1: [Upon releasing to the first level of Final Silence, Gilles’ longbow dissipates and is replaced with a crossbow meant to be wielded with one hand or two if need be. As all bows of Final Silence, it is made of reiatsu, the tightly coiled string that would be found in a physical crossbow nonexistent. The properties of Gilles’ first bow release are “Clear” and “Warp”. Warp is the property that relates to the Firing of the bow. Though it looks like any ordinary bow in that it would fire arrows originating at itself, the arrows all possess the property of Warp, meaning that they can originate from anywhere within a one foot radius. Gilles can fire them behind himself, above himself, below himself, any direction he wants from within a one foot radius surrounding his body. Clear is the property that relates to the Mass of the arrows. These arrows are invisible to the eyes, no amount of senses are enough to see them. However, they are clearly “visible” to someone’s Energy Sensory if it is over 300, and the arrows general location can be sensed with at least 150 ES.
Bow Release Level 2: [The next level of Final Silence starts to devolve from what a bow would typically be known as. The crossbow is gone and is replaced with an eyepiece over Gilles’s left eye. This futuristic monocle has straps like an x that wrap around the back of his head. The level 2 properties are “Beam” and “Teleport”. Beam is the property that relates to Form, the arrows now replaced with a large beam that would look like a large Byakurai. Final Silence Level 2 retains its abilities of Warp and Clear, obviously, and the new property Teleport relates to the ability to allow Gilles to instantly ride along one of the beams in order to end up somewhere along the path of that arrow. He doesn't physically travel the distance in between the two points, merely puts his body into reiatsu and carries along the path of the beam. The arrows using Teleport are not able to be manipulated in path like normal arrows, only able to move in straight lines.
Bow Release Level 3: [Final Silence Level 3 is a level of power akin to a Shinigami’s Bankai, quite possibly even greater than such a release. The eyepiece begins to extend to his entire body, forming knobs that look like robotic eyes on his elbows, knees, and shoulders. Black straps of fabric connect the eyes and form an X across his chest. The fabric extends from the eyes on his elbows to become a robotic glowing pair of gloves that leave the fingers exposed. The two properties of Final Silence Level 3 are “Anchor” and “Banish”. Anchor allows Gilles to create pockets of warp space anywhere within a yard of him that are invisible, like the arrows that can fire the laser beams in any direction. These anchor points can use Clear, Warp, Beam, and Teleport if Gilles wishes and they can last for up to 10 posts. Banish is a property that can only be used by the arrows that Gilles personally fires from his body, and causes the object that is touched to be teleported, but only half way. This effectively causes it to become no longer existent as unless they possess double Gilles’ RS to resist the effect, the effected object cannot return. Gilles can Banish up to 1 square foot chunks of objects at a time.

Additional Tools or Techniques:
Physical Manifestation: Willpower
This is probably the easiest one to obtain. A minor variant of this one is obtained just by reaching Class 1 as a Quincy or Human. Mod Souls naturally have a minor variant of it, and Bount do as well. This technique is one that manifests the willpower of the physical body. It essentially causes spirit and physical body to "become one" and merge their powers. There are two uses of it. The first is a non battle use, and is the main use. The main use is simply to know the technique. By having Willpower, the user can slow the aging process of the body, and live as long as a Shinigami or Arrancar would. Of course, since this requires someone's actual will to begin with, a will that suddenly weakens will cause aging in the user, as age will start to rapidly catch up with the one weakened. This means careful. Always try to be at least a bit confident in yourself.
The second use is the battle use. The battle use is quite simply. It has three stages. The first stage is called "Cog." By giving up 100 reiatsu, the user pumps an explosive amount of intimidating power out. Anyone of inferior class will immediately be intimidated. This does not mean they won't fight. Those who are weak enough in comparison will feel a huge, exaggerated surge of power that will probably make them surrender. This can also be used on Hollows to actually scare them away instead of having to kill them. This does NOT work on animals! It only works on "intelligent beings." This means unless it has a similar to human intelligence, this wont' work on an animal. The second stage is called "Pulley." This causes physical output to increase based on draining spiritual energy. It costs 400 reiatsu. When activated, it increases physical stats by 50%. However, it causes the skin to begin to blister from pumped out reiatsu. Essentially, skin begins to burn. It's a quick burn. Within 5 posts, burning will start to become quite serious. On top of that, statistic gain is lost by the post, starting after the second post of this being active. After that time, 10% of the gain is lost every post. It can only be restored by sacrificing 150 reiatsu per 10%. The final stage is called "Gate." It has no initial cost. Reiatsu strength and spiritual pressure (but NOT reiatsu amount) both double. From there, reiatsu output goes up, meaning that costs are also doubled for everything. On top of that, 100 reiatsu is lost per post until this is deactivated. Willpower is considered a Class 3 technique. It comes with all three stages when you learn it, but costs double the normal amount of TTP.
[Quincy Variation: The Quincy have a rather odd variation of this technique. This is called Eigenwillig. Rather than taking advantage of the longevity and making it immortality as Immortality Drink does, Quincy use the battle variant of this ability. They use it to focus reiatsu within physical (in the human world) manifestation. This is usually silver capsules. Essentially, Eigenwillig is what allows Quincy to use Ginto, and other tools that they have. Techniques to go with this are below.
Ransōtengai
Ransōtengai (乱装天傀; lit. "heavenly wild puppet suit", "disheveled paradise puppet" in the Viz translation) - Class 3 — this is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively, and is rare enough in use that nobody has known a Quincy to be able to use it in many years. It costs 400 reiatsu per post to use.
Physical Manifestation: Movement
This is a movement technique. It's to keep up with things like Shunpo or Sonido. While all races using this have their own variant of a step technique already, this one is pretty much an in-general type of move. It attunes the physical body to the reiatsu in the air, rather than spiritual to spiritual. It is now physical to spiritual. In better translation, this means that for a measly cost of 25 reiatsu, the user can take a single step with a 5x increase in speed. What makes this technique unique is that people can break off in the middle of its use. Unlike other step techniques, this one can be repeated while in the middle of the previous one, allowing someone to change their movement course in mid movement. Considered Class 4 by default.
[Quincy Variation:
Hirenkyaku (飛廉脚; lit. "flying screen step/god step") - Class 4, but the regular version uses 50 reiatsu
Main article: Hirenkyaku
Analogous to the Shinigami Flash Steps or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to many Quincy; Ishida it is faster than flash steps, though a Captain's superior speed in comparison to a Master Quincy's speed suggests that this is just a generalization. To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. This is highly difficult to master, and most Quincy cannot use it until 10 years of training or more. One step costs 50 reiatsu, and the speed increase is 10 times for that single step. However, unlike shunpo and sonido, this can be used for a constant movement as well. Giving up 400 reiatsu allows for a constant movement over the duration of one post. Giving up 1000 reiatsu allows constant movement over the duration of 3 posts.]
Blut - A class 3 technique that is not active by default, and can exist only as long as the Emperor exists. As long as the Emperor is sending fuel across his empire, this technique exists. It requires 300 reiatsu per post to keep active, and is like Hierro. Those who possess it have skin that cannot be cut at all by reiatsu strength that is inferior. However, Blut is different from Hierro. While even an inferiority of 1 reiatsu strength will prevent one from being damaged when using Blut, those of superior class automatically bypass it. Similarly, Bankai automatically bypasses Blut. That's the defensive portion. The offensive portion costs 500 reiatsu per post to keep active, and doubles physical or reiatsu based stats (Quincy choice) during activation. *Latest effected added due to Bleach Chapter 499.
Bankai Stealing - Class 2. This technique allows Quincy of the Vandenreich to steal Bankai. Only one Bankai can be stolen by a Quincy at any one time. Quincy use their reiatsu to create a sort of black reiatsu "wheel" in one hand, just the size of the palm. This wheel costs 500 reiatsu to summon, but cannot be targeted or destroyed by any other effects. From there, it instantly takes in a targeted Bankai of the user's choice by their will and command. That Bankai is instantaneously gone. It disappears and is absorbed. This process costs 2000 reiatsu. The user can then use the Bankai to the extent by which they understand it. This means if they do not know all of its techniques, they cannot use those of which they are unaware. Releasing the Bankai and its uses and duration are the same as if the Shinigami used it regularly. Bankai cannot be stolen from enemies that have double or more the reiatsu strength of the user, or triple or more the spiritual pressure of the user. Similarly, it cannot be stolen from those of superior class. Bankai is kept until the thief is killed. At that point, it returns to the owner. If the owner is killed, the thief can keep the Bankai until they decide to get rid of it. The wheel, once formed and once it has stolen a Bankai, is treated as an item, and a medium of release. In NDE threads, it is lost at the end of the thread. If obtained in a DE thread, it can be used in all other threads afterwards until lost. There IS a way to steal Bankai of superior reiatsu strength, spiritual pressure, and class. This technique can overpower all of those if 15,000 reiatsu is given up.
Seele Schneider (魂を切り裂くもの (ゼーレシュナイダー), Zēreshunaidā; German for "Soul Cutter", Japanese for "That Which Slits the Soul"): The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles. Uryū also stated that using it increased his spiritual power. [14] The Seele Schneiders Uryū uses are stolen from a secret storage room under Karakura hospital.

Memorable Figures: [The Emperor, Gaston, the Holy Archer]
History: [Born to simple farmers, Pierre Descartes was an average child, if not a little bit scrawny. His parents didn’t really believe in the traditional schooling methods, so for the first seven years of his education he was homeschooled. The final year of his primary education, however, would be spent in a traditional public school, where he would bear much ridicule and teasing for his small stature and less than social habits. He was constantly pushed around and teased, though he ignored them mostly because he only had to survive that one year then he could move on with his life. However, one brute named Gaston simply would not leave Pierre alone. The big monster of a kid would hit him with spit balls, rub mud in his hair, and do other infantile things. Well one day, Pierre had enough.
The tormented kid left a note in Gaston’s locker that simply read “Fight. Behind the School. After Classes.” Pierre was there, and Gaston showed up too. Pierre wildly charged at the bully but found out the hard way that Gaston was not only big and strong, but well trained in martial arts. The smaller child’s head hit the bricks and started to bleed, and the other children fled the scene of the fight with extreme haste. As Pierre wavered between life and death, shapes started to become clearer that weren’t visible before. They, at first, seemed to be blobs, but before long sharpened to be people just wandering through the courtyard, chains firmly attached to their chest. “I see dead people…”
Because of his injuries, Pierre’s mother insisted he move to a private school in the country to avoid the bullies, where he finished his education. During his secondary education he grew much taller, started working out a bit, fleshing out his weak and scrawny form. He never lost the Death Sight, as he called it, and eventually even learned to talk to some of the dead people, the ones who wanted to talk to someone who still bled. Often he was looked at as a weirdo, but he never minded. He had company who didn’t judge him, and that was all that mattered. He became fascinated with the Musketeers after finding a wandering soul of one, and for hours would simply talk to that man, a brave man with a passion for Honor and Chivalry. Pierre decided that he too would mold his life after these two concepts. A couple weeks after he graduated, however, he had an emotionally traumatizing situation that never left him. He witnessed a Hollow attack.
The creature was big, half as tall as a house, and looked like a giant fire breathing rabbit. Wherever it moved it set fire to houses and caused explosions that rippled across the streets. Pierre called to the people watching the blaze, but they ignored him. “Run! Run! Don’t you see the rabbit??” They thought him crazy, crazier than when he claimed to see dead people. Dead people existed, giant fire breathing rabbits did not. The teen rushed at the creature, only to be kicked away by powerful hind legs. It was then that a Holy Archer arrived; sending beautiful arrows across the sky to impact the Demon Rabbit’s face and dissolve it into nothingness. Awe-inspired, Pierre moved towards the woman dressed in white.
“Mademoiselle, may I *cough* know the name of my savior?” He was clutching at his broken ribs, trying to sound as tough as he could, though his weakness showed. “You are not worthy of my name, human.” This interested the teen, even in his wounded state he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to learn something new. “Are you not human, then?” The woman just laughed, and her bow disappeared into thin air, though the rest of the crowd didn’t care, as if they couldn’t see her at all. “I am a Quincy of the Holy Vandenreich Empire. Who might you be, One-who-can-see-ghosts?” So this woman was both a ghost and a Quincy, whatever the second thing was. Highly unusual, so Pierre decided to press for further information.
“I am Pierre, Holy Archer. I am also nobody. Obscurity is who I am.” The bow from before appeared in her hand again, a thin white arrow settling on its glowing string. “I can fix that.” [/color] The arrow hit him two inches left of his heart, sparking something inside him that tickled his fingers, scratched at his chest, wanting to get free. A new lease on life, a new sense of power. The Holy Archer took hold of Pierre and started moving incredibly fast, faster than the newly born Quincy could handle. He blacked out from the strain, and when he awoke he was in the presence of the most powerful being in the world, the god-King Emperor.
He was granted his life, in exchange for eternal service for the Emperor. In addition to his life, he was granted power, the strength of the Quincy, and the way to achieve anything his heart desired. He settled into his new life, deserting his family who had treated him so poorly and the humans that had ignored or abused him. They’d get their justice later. As a Private in the Vandenreich Army, he was basically nothing and his only goal in life was to get stronger. In order to do this, Pierre forced himself through difficult training to deaden pain and allow himself to deal with blood loss. It was one way that he improved himself. In addition to that, he focused on his mind, improving his tactics and war strategies, and was a natural at it, showing himself to be in the top percentile of strategists.
It was that skill that granted him his first promotion, to the rank of Lieutenant. As a Lieutenant he first grew to a level of power that unlocked the first level of Letz Stil. It took the form of a crossbow , which amused the other Quincy watching him as he had openly, and loudly, talked about his love of the Renaissance times with the musketeers and crossbows and such. They stopped laughing, however, when targets simply were destroyed without arrows being formed. Some of the better sensors thought that they could feel some sort of arrows being made, and only the best actually saw with their mind’s eyes the arrows that appeared from all over Pierre and smashed targets left and right with absolute precision. Seeing his potential to be a master front-line fighter, it was then that Pierre died and was reborn the Stern Ritter Gilles, G, The Glass Castle, for his invisible arrows.
The day soon approached where the Stern ritter would be called upon to action, to start the Holy Extermination of the Shinigami ants that had wronged the Quincy so long ago. For a thousand years the Vandenreich had grown in strength and in hate, and soon the bow of fury would strike down the oppressors, those who thought themselves to be Holy and Just. No, the Shinigami were not the source of balance in the world, that much was clear to the newly christened Gilles. When he was in trouble from the... dare he say it... large rabbit, it was a Quincy who had saved him, not a Shinigami. No Shinigami even got close to stopping by when lives were being devoured by the flames and by the jaws of the beast. No, they had failed their job, and now were not worthy of it.
"Look lively, soldiers! This is just a training exercise, but there's no reason to slack off! If you fail this, you will be kept out of the Invasion force, stripped of your rank, and cut off from the Emperor. Do not fail and we won't have trouble!" Gilles and his squad of Privates stood on the edge of a cliff, overlooking a small town that had been abandoned due to Hollow attacks. The Hollows still roamed free, and some had broken their masks to become weak Arrancar. Las Noches had ignored them due to their misshapen, broken forms that were useless as well as the blight that covered the area, making the Hollows and Arrancar poisonous to other souls that would eat them. Gilles directed his soldiers with extreme precision, identifying and reacting to threats in a moments notice, and the Heilig Pfeil filled the air, each one a kill shot or a near fatal wound.
Those who missed were reprimanded, and if they failed to exterminate more than ten hollows or arrancar, then they were failed and sent back to the Holy Land for reprocessing. It was a shame to see such useless Quincy come out of Vandenreich blood and training. Gilles had no need to strike out at the hollows, they just weren't powerful enough for someone of his caliber. Instead he held his Seele Schneider, directing his troops like a true Strategist. It had been this way for quite a few years now, and though his body had started to slow, his mind was as sharp as ever. Nothing escaped his gaze, and no creature passed the defensive line of Quincy that was deflecting and redirecting the attacks that came. Was this how the Invasion would go? Time would tell, and that time was coming soon...

-Appearance-
Height/Weight: [6'2"/148 lbs.]

-Powers-
Fighting Style:

-History-
Birthplace: [Paris]
Current Residence: [Vandenreich Home World]
Memorable Figures: [The Emperor, Gaston, the Holy Archer]
