Thread Title: Fur and Feathers [PG, NDE] Participants: Grodd, Tsaj Dread World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: PG-13 Location: On an island of Hawaii in the middle of the ocean lies a Temple constructed of Whale Bone. The tribal inhabitants of the barely populated island constructed the temple in the image of a Giant Hollow that had lived in the waters around the island chain. This Temple was a place where humans were sacrificed to the Hollow, and as such is a dark and bloodstained location. Special Conditions: None Circumstances: Grodd, new unseated recruit in the Third Squad, has applied for and been granted a trip into the Land of the Living. He wants to do his job of scouting while also looking for scraps of memories of his former life. While looking, he runs into an Arrancar, Tsaj Dread, at a Temple built to look like a Hollow's mask. Whether it is of a difference in ideology, or merely that they are unable to communicate, they end up fighting.

Getting to the world of the living proved a surprisingly....easy endeavor. Originally she had considered the idea of using her stealth skills to simply piggyback a hollow on it's way there. But it just felt so.....rude. So in the interest of remaining civil and retaining her sense of manners, she'd promptly slaughtered the majority of a group of hollows, leaving one alive. He didn't seem particularly strong or talkative, he just sort of stared at her. Of course ripping off his arms had loosened his tongue. Admittedly she probably should have asked him a question before doing so, but the awkward silennce after she'd killed his companions was just so.....bleh.
In any case she fashioned a sort of backpack design, tying his severed arms around him and around her torso like a bag or a knapsack. In any case after the arm-ripping-off he was more than happy to take her t the world of the living. On the way there she did her best to keep up conversation. His name, how long he'd been a hollow, what his favorite type of hollow to eat was, and of course if he worked out. His arms were pretty muscled. Like lumpy pool noodles. For some reason he fell silent after a while, admittedly it was probably all the blood loss but whatever, she wasn't going to bug a sleeping hollow, that was just mean. When she finally arrived though she was....surprised.
For one it was HOT. Not just hot but sweltering, burning, bright-as-shit-sunlight hot. She actually dropped her guide onto the ground as she dropped to a knee and grunted just a little as her eyes adjusted to the bright sun, oh so much more intense than the moon in hueco mundo. With this new sunlight however she regrettably had to inform her backpack that she was going to require some more of his body parts in order to stay comfortable. Namely by ripping off the top of his head and using it as a sun hat. He mumbled something about using a leaf, whatever THAT was, but no, she disagreed, and liked her idea better. So when she saw that massive skull in the distance, she had a small bounce in her step as she headed for the massive landmark, a new sunhat so daintily placed on top of her head. Lovely weather this place had.
