Thread Title: Reunions [R. DE] Participants: Caesar C The Cardinal, Raygin Kawada World: Human World Death Setting: Death Enabled Rating: R Location: The battle is taking place in Sea world, San Diego at 12:30 in the afternoon. There is a lot of business occurring with the it being spring. Special Conditions: Circumstances: Taking advantage of Caesar's ignorance of the modern world, a group of Vandenreich Privates were able to convince Caesar to accompany them to Sea World to "study" the creations of Der Kaiser and appreciate the life that he had created. At the same time Raygin is escaping the stressful days of Soul Society. The intended "vacation" and escape from stress is destroyed when they meet each other. Raygin has the first post.
"Alright visitors the time is now twelve thirty! That means the show will be starting soon! Please, find your seats before they all get taken. Shamu will be here soon!" the peppy voice of a young woman rang through the massive park via the intercom systems. The visitors all began to congregate to the massive stadium in the center of the park, excited to see the performance done by the large marine animals. Laughter, chatter, shouting was heard throughout the amusement park as people enjoyed the warm summer day at the relatively expensive sea world amusement park. People brought their families and loved ones experience the wet fun of this place. Well, not everyone came with someone.
The killer whale stadium that housed the seatings was covered by a awning, giving shade and comfort to the viewers. Sitting atop the awning, legs dangling down the edge, was a young male adorned in black robes. His arm rested on his leg which held his head up, as golden eyes watched the massive pool that lay before him. Raygin Sakubara, vice captain of Squad 13 and adopted member of the Kawada family, watched with eagerness as he waited for the show to start. Why on earth was a Shinigami, a Vice Captain actually, here at Sea World? Simple. He was skipping his responsibilities.
Apparently, Raygin was supposed to have gone with his Captain to some sort of meeting with the other Captains and Vice Captains, but he honestly found that extremely boring and decided to just not go. Why would he? Raygin didn't really know any of the other Vice Captains or Captains, and it probably wasn't anything important anyways. And there was also the fact that Raygin just wanted to get away from it all for awhile. The young Shinigami had been rather stressed out recently, what with all the hussle and bussle with him being back to full recovery and just finished his three months of training.
The constant demand to get stronger from his superiors caused Raygin to do his best to avoid the heads of his household. After all, Raygin wanted to relax and have fun than be stressed and worrying about the war between the Quincies and the Arrancar. So, here he was...waiting for the whale named Shamu to appear and entertain the viewers.
((Shit quality post, forgive me. Haven't used this guy in awhile))
"Shaper of Earth and Sky, Wielder of the Holy Fire and the Shining Light of Peace, hear my prayer. Keep me from the hands of my enemies, that I may not tarnish the name of my King. Deliver my foes into my crosshairs, that they may fall to the Light of Your Majesty. May the Sword and the Shield break upon the Might of the Bow. Amen." the room was largely quiet, save for the prayers that Caesar was performing. Knelt before the large statue of Der Kaiser as he stat upon his throne, composed of Ice, Caesar's face placed onto the ground. Outside of Caesar's grand double doors, there was relatively little activity, given life with the occasional muffled foot steps and talking. "Our Lord and Savior, The One True God King. Thank You, Thank You for watching over us, and saving us from the fires of Damnation, and away from Hell. I thank You for giving us the power to bring salvation to those that are ignored by the False Shepherds. I Pray to You for strength of the coming day that we purge the world of the Hollows and the False Shepherd Shinigami, and usher in a new age of peace. An age where You reign supreme, just as it is dictated. Amen." Once he was done, the quietness was broken by a decently loud knock on the door, the knocking continued for a few more seconds before it stopped. Slowly rising, the General walked to his desk, composed largely of ice and carved with intricate and beautiful designs. Sitting on top of the desk was a copy of Seine Pracht, along with a few more paper work that needed to be filled out, stacked up next to it was a series of other books. He stared at the door for a few seconds before speaking "You may enter."
Ever slowly the doors would open and four Vandenreich Privates walked in, two were male and two were females, all of them were in their mid twenties and the expression on their face was very understandable considering their current situation. They walked towards the desk, the closer they got the further the females pushed the males forward, making sure that they were behind them when they came up to the desk. Staring into their eyes, as if he knew what they were there for, and only stared because he wanted to make sure that they were going to tell the truth. "Why do you choose to be here when you should be performing your duties?" he calmly asked them, the one on the left, who had brown hair, perfectly kept military buzz cut and brown eyes, a round face and a cleanly pressed uniform spoke "Because we want to go to Sea world" Caesar stared at the desk, placing the papers somewhere else before staring back at the Privates, "Why would you want to go to a place called 'sea world." he continued to stare at them before he rose, causing the four to flinch and move a few steps backwards, walking around his desk he stared at them, making it obvious that he towered over them "You tell me that there is a location where they keep marine wild life for their entertainment?" the Privates looked at each other and nodded. "It is a grand place where they display Der Kaiser's creations. It is beautiful, and you will be able to see the grand creations that he has done."
For a bit Caesar took this opportunity to think, after much consideration before finally nodding. Opening the portal to the Human world, the Privates immediately entered with extreme glee and excitement. The exit appeared within the restroom stall, the sight of an elderly male and four young adults appearing out of a single stall caused the current occupants to run out screaming. "Alright. If we have arrived at the place you have told me about this is it." Caesar slowly walked outside. At that very moment the peppy voice rang out, calling everyone to the large stadium, with people running there in Flocks, Caesar stared at his Privates to explain, knowing that it was about they began to explain "Shamu is a large mammal that our Great God created. The humans have tamed these creatures for their entertainment. We heard it was a very entertaining lets go and see." the curiosity of this sea world continued to fill Caesar with a desire to learn more, the journey there took some time, passing through other marine wild lifes and taking the time to learn about them. At one point they stopped in front of the Otter Exibit, before they continued onto the main building Caesar took the time to read about these mammals and what made them unique. By the time they arrived at the stadium the show was just about ready to start. Things would have went well until he felt it, somewhere in the building there was a Shinigami, a Vice Captain Level. Placing his hands outwards, he stapped the Privates from entering, instead opening a portal back to the Vandenreich Base of Operations "Leave me. There is someone here that has unfinished business with me."
The cold tone and order caused them to immediately comply, leaving Caesar by himself. With his high energy sensory, Caesar calmly walked over to where Ragin was talking. Making sure to stand behind him, his shadow clearly blocking his and slowly pressuring him with his Reiatsu Strength, "You... I crucified you outside of the Cathedral that you desecrated. Now you sit here, gazing at what the very God you spoke against Created." Taking a step back Caesar stared at the young Shinigami and turning off his crushing pressense he continued to calmly speak "What business do you have bringing your presense to this place. Speak, so your crucifixion will be as quick as it was last time." Caesar stared deeply into the Shinigami's eyes, observing every emotion and every tone that came his way.
Raygin kicked his feet back and forth across the emptiness of the air, eagerly and excitingly awaiting the appearance of the large black marine animal that would perform tricks for them. It was refreshing, no doubt, to be outside and in the world of living and enjoying the day in such a pleasuring place. It was, without a doubt, a fun day. However, it would seem that whichever God watched over the world decided that Raygin would not be having a fun filled day with the massive black whale. As he sat there, staring excitingly at the massive tank that would hold the creature, a shadow washed over him followed by a crushing pressure. The force caused Raygin to lurch forward with a sudden yelp, holding himself up from falling into the stands of people with his strength. He suddenly panicked, wondering what on earth was going on. Who was exerting all that force? But his thoughts shifted when he saw the people below him falling to their knees, being crushed by the unknown enemies spiritual pressure.
"Stop it!" Raygin shouted backwards. "The people...below us!" Raygin managed to say, as he was crushed by the force. Who was it behind him? His answer came with what the man had to say. Rays eyes widened as he recognized the voice and with it came powerful memories of that day. Flashing before his eyes were the scenes of that battle. The arrows puncturing his skin, the cold ice beneath his feet. A cold sweat formed on his forehead, the bead of liquid trailing down the side of his face as he took in a short breath. The pressure had stopped but Raygin still felt it. The scenes of that fight flashed before his eyes. The boomerang Zanpakuto being destroyed before his very eyes.
The scene of his clothing being removed, being hoisted upon a cross of ice with his hands and feet impaled by arrows of reishi. Raygins throat instinctively gulped down dry air as he slowly began to get to his feet. Why was he here? Why? Why did Raygin have to run into this man again? The young Shinigami turned to face a giant who stood in front of him. While not truly a giant, the Quincies very presence made Raygin seem small and insignificant, and for reason. Ray felt it. The pain of that arrow grazing his heart, damaging it and having left the Shinigami in a state of crippling pain for a period of time. A time in which the slightest exertion could end his life. A time that made Raygin question himself and his believes, making him come to regret ever joining the Seireiteis military force. The frightened Shinigami stared at the ancient man before him, his eyes widened and mouth left slight agape. The sounds of heavy breathing escaped between his lips as his heart rate accelerated. A primal fear took hold as Raygin clenched his trembling hands.
"Caesar..."
Was all Raygin said as he stared at the Quincy before him. Why? Why was this man here!? Here of all places?? Of all places in the world, why was this man before Raygin? What had Raygin done to deserve this? He didn't want to ever see Caesar again. He never wanted to be anywhere near this man again. The fear caused by the pain of what Caesar had done to him had taken hold, rattling his very core. Raygin only held on, though, by the strength of his will. He held onto himself. Perhaps, maybe, Caesar wasn't here to fight. Maybe he was here for the very same reason Raygin was. To watch the dancing whale. But, at the same time, Caesar had said Raygin would be crucified once more. Why? Raygin hadn't done a single thing wrong. Ray was innocent. He never wronged anyone, ever. Ray found his voice once more and began to answer, choosing to pick his words carefully. "W-whales. I wanted to see...the dancing whales." well, it was the truth. Raygin wanted to see the dancing Shamu whale.
"You. Why are you here? It doesn't make any sense for you to be here." Raygin began to speak again. For some reason, speaking was removing Raygins fear. Only by little did it work though, as he was careful not to make any sort of stupid move that would get him killed. But then a memory flashed in Raygins head. A memory of a white wolf standing atop a rock, staring up into the bright blue sky. A red feather was tied around the canines ear that blowed ever gently in the wind. The wolf let out a low, mournful howl as he vanished into a mist, the red feather detaching and flying into the blue sky. Zeroshiki. Rays first Zanpakuto. The White Wolf. Raygin remembered. This man, this Quincy, had destroyed it. Raygin grit his teeth, remembering the loneliness and broken heart Raygin had in the weeks following his Zanpakutos destruction. The loss of his Zanpakuto had almost been as bad as the death of...best not be remembered, especially at this moment. Rays eyes narrowed as he clenched his fists tightly. "Crush him, Baizou!" Raygin spoke, his Zanpakuto erupting into flames and wrapping around his fists.
"I didn't forget what you did. What you did to me and what you did to Zeroshiki. Now WHY are you here?" Raygin shouted, stepping back and adopting a boxing position.
The moment their eyes came into contact, the memories were replayed in complete high definition. Caesar remembered it all, the sight of the Vandenreich Emblem dripping the blood of the defeated Shinigami. The crucified, with cold sweat dripping down his face, mixing with the blood of his body. His hands spread into a Y formation and nails composed of the coldest ice nailed into the very palm that tried to desecrate the Cathedral of Der Kaiser. His feet layered onto themselves and nailed with a longer spike. Caesar delivered a Sermon, something that was hopefully engraved onto this Shinigami's head before leaving back into the Cathedral. "You. Why are you here? It doesn't make any sense for you to be here." "Because... False Shepherd." his voice echoed with in Raygins ear, the young man would see Caesar spread his arms into a flat line. At that moment, the pressure continued to squeeze the humans, but not Raygin. He would be able to see what was going to happen. At that moment, five crows the color of the blackest nights with the reddest eyes perched themselves onto Caesar's Arm. They began to caw at Raygin before violently flapping their wings. This caused a black cloud of feathers to accumulate in front of them. The chocking and coughing surrounding them would soon die down as the last spectators that could not escape were killed. In mere seconds a huge flood of hundreds upon hundreds of other crows erupted from Caesar's back. They surrounded Raygin and began to tear into his flesh, but he would not bleed nor would he die. He would feel this illusion because of Caesar's reiatsu strength as he observed the birds tearing away at pieces of flesh and blood before flying into the sky and exploding brilliantly into the sky.
"Because. False Shepherd. You have been fated to Suffer. Along with the others who dare go against the True Doctrine of our God-King. The air around them began to grow colder and colder as Caesar stepped back a few and spread his arms. "As it is stated by Der Kaiser! 'The world around the False Shepherds shall turn black. And all that they have built will fall apart! They will eventually fall into the pits of their arrogance. And this pit shall fill with the Acid Rain of their Mistakes shall burn them away!' That is the Faith of the very people you support." Caesar stretched his arm to the side, and from there a bow that appeared to be the Vandenreich Emblem appeared into his hand. "You have seen the power of the Vandenreich. You have seen what extents we will go to just so that our God will be please. You will forever be hunted and punished for your arrogance." And he released, the Shinigami released against Caesar. His phrase echoed within the empty stadium "I didn't forget what you did. What you did to me and what you did to Zeroshiki. Now WHY are you here?" Caesar lowed his bow, making sure that the firing part of it was aimed at the ground. With his other hand he reached over his shoulder and ripped away the brown cloth that shrouded his body in mystery. The fluttering cloth flew away into the way as Caesar revealed what he wore underneath. The twisted priest outfit, with a color ever black was fitted just right that it was not too large that it sagged but not tight that it crushed his body in discomfort. "Why... To show you light error of your life. And to show you what will befall the entirety of your Race. And your Family."
Caesar pulled a small black crystal from his pocket and showed it to Raygin. "Fascinating isn't it. What I hold in my hand is an object that will show you what will happen in the future. It serves no bias but instead shows the total future. There is no changing this future, only accepting the inevitable." he placed it into his hand as he observed Raygin's boxer stance. "You plan to fight within a close range. Now Do you?" Caesar had a battle analysis of three and a high amount of instinct and senses. He would be able to track and react to what Raygin was going to do. Making sure to ready his body for the fight that is about to ensue. "Tell me how it felt. You remember it all. Tell me how it felt to have the one thing closest to you ripped from your hands and destroyed. The very thing closest to you, the thing that you felt was your companion in times of darkness. What did it felt watching your Zanpakuto be destroyed in front of your very eyes. That is what it felt like, listening to the stories of loss and of destruction. That is what it felt like when your kind attempted to stop us from performing the very deed that was dictated by God." And with that, the speaking was over, as his mask and cross began to glow a magnificent white Caesar was sure to pluck heart strings with Raygin to make sure that he would have the most reckless reactions ever. Only time would tell if this worked.
