Name: I'm a Spiritual Being... Get Me Out Of Here!
Participants: Anyone - 8 people max (but enter in pairs)
Location: [Insert Here] - The Pleasure Dome -
No one knows how this place was created, or even who created it. It seems to be suspended like a planet in space, simply existing in a void. Contained within its silvery boundaries are hundreds of different ecosystems: murky swamps, deserts, icy tundra, forests, mountains, and even the surfaces of seemingly alien planets. Unusually though, environments can change in a second, deserts can become meadows, while deserts could become grass all in a matter of seconds. They call this place 'The Amusement Park of the Gods'. Who are they? I've no idea.
Difficulty Level: - Hard
Setting: - NDE
Plotline: - People go missing all the time. For some, there is an earthly reason: tragic accidents, or extended vacations. So when some more people go missing, no one really notices. Every couple of centuries, six people go missing from all three worlds. Anyone is fair game, but more often than not these people are people with Spiritual Powers. They find themselves transported to this mysterious 'Pleasure Dome', a place which appears to be the size of the earth. Here they are forced to compete in pairs for the amusement of the beings who created this place, the winning team receiving an item beyond compare, and are returned to their original places and times.
However, it is either win or die, there is no mercy in this unforgiving game. Oddly enough, the system seems to enjoy pushing foes together, and turning friends against each other. Arrancars are never found to be paired with others of their kind, and the same can be said for Shinigami, Quincy, Fullbringer, Bount, Modsoul, Akki or even Failures. It also appears to have a twisted sense of humour. Those who are powerful often find themselves stricken with misfortune, while weaker teams will often find themselves lucky.
Estimated Enemy Strength: - Besides the other contestants, NPC enemies will range from Weak Class 4 to Weak Class 2.
Estimated Time Until Completion: - 7 pages (but hopefully less)
Starts: [Insert Here] - The adventure will commence when all 8 places are filled.
Special Conditions: -
1. You must enter in pairs. Pairs cannot be of the same race, or faction. Unaffiliated characters may be paired with each other, provided they are not of the same race. (People who own two characters of different races CAN enter them separately as a team, but it is not advised)
2. One member of a team's death results in immediate death for both members of a team.
3. The last remaining pair will win an overall prize.
4. Posting will be done in rounds. One member of each team must post in each round. The other member of that team will then post in the next round (unless circumstance means one member of the team cannot post, then the other member can post for two rounds in a row). Posters can control their partner, provided all actions are approved of (say, through PM or so something), unless they are in combat with another team. If a team fails to post within a week of a new round, they are eliminated.
5. When teams come into combat, they must create a new thread, and will engage in a 2 vs 2 PvP. These two teams are exempted from posting in rounds until the battle finishes. However, teams not involved will still be required to post in rounds. The winning team will rejoin at the end of the combat thread. If one team manages to flee the combat, both teams will resume the thread. However, if these teams encounter each other again, they will resume their fight in that thread. If a combat fails to resolve in 2 weeks (unless someone flees) both teams are eliminated.
6. At the end of each post (except when teams are in combat), a die roll between 1 and 30 must be taken. The total class (sum of the two members in each team's class) is added to this total. This determines that team's 'fortune'. A score between 1-15 will result in an unfortunate event occurring for that team in that round. A score from 16-24 will result in a normal event occurring, nothing bad nor good. A score of 25+ will result in a fortunate event for your team. Naturally, that means teams of lower classes will have better fortunes.
7. If this thread goes over 7 pages, everyone dies, because the gods will be bored.
