It takes some asking around, as many of the workers seem too busy to talk to you, but eventually a guard takes pity on you and gives you directions to the mess hall. Upon arrival you see that the room is packed. This ship is not particularly large, but judging by the one worker's quarters you entered there was likely room to house almost a hundred people. If there are more such rooms like that, not even including the guard's quarters, it would not be difficult for this ship to house over a thousand people. So, unsurprisingly, there's easily over a hundred people in this room. It's quite cramped, despite the size of the room, but there is enough room to move around. Guards are posted along the sides of the room, keeping an eye out for any possible problems. Looking for someone eating and drinking? Nearly everyone in the room is doing exactly that.

Maria would shake off the shock from being offered a gun, finding a place to holster it. She would discuss the matter of ammunition later. Right now, there was a job to be done. "Right, yes. Cameras. Let's go find our friendly neighborhood tech-adept then, shall we?" She would immediately head out, keen on dodging the somewhat portly noble for a moment.
You are able to move with no obstructions. As you approach the control room, where you last saw Cyrus you see a large set of double doors labelled (in High Gothic of course) "Security".

Maria would stop in front of the door that said... Well, whatever fancy gibberish it said. She recognized the arrangement well enough to know that it was usually where hired guards or the like did boring things like watch cameras, or have illicit affairs with junior officers. The arbite would sharply knock at the door as soon as she noticed it, waiting a moment.
With a hissing sound, the doors opened. Inside, there were dozens of individuals, literally plugged into the walls. All manner of wires and cables wound around their bodies, affixing them to the machines inside the room, as they surveyed the entire ship from this room. There were two or three data terminals in the room, all with an attached viewscreen, likely intended for quick access.
Eli scans the room, but despite his best efforts, there's just too many people, to single out one. Room is limited enough that even people who might be on their own, are still finding themselves closely packed on either side by their fellow workers.

Eli realizing that he would not be able to single out a single person, chose to walk over and grab a plate to eat, Then walked back to the first seat he could find and plopped in it. Keeping his eyes distant, he listened to the talk of the table. Waiting, he would know when to speak, after all. Those of the hive knew the right kind of buzz.
"You look like an extraordinary specimen, I look forward to breaking you."
It's tricky to find a seat, but fortunately, as a Hive worlder, you're more than used to cramped spots like this, and squeeze yourself between two of the workers. It takes you a few moments to adjust to the loud din of the room, but the worker on your left, appears to be conversing with another man across the table from him, about his work in the engine room, and the worker on your right appears to be in a similar conversation with the man across from him about their shifts in the loading bay.

Maria would quickly clap her hands after Lanric said her bit, seemingly oblivious to what the adept was saying at that moment. "Ey, any of you cognizant or coherent to what we're saying right now?" she would say loudly, seeing if that happened to bring any of them to pay attention to her.
If none of them responded, the arbite would turn to Lanric after that, a slight smile on her face. "Good. Guess that means we can talk without fear of any overt monitoring, now can't we?" She kept her voice low, whispering. "How good are you with tech, and can you transfer information to your data slate? I have a little theory that I want to check out without the cogboys knowing."
