Underneath the mask which Kousen wore, his face wore a serious expression. This serious expression had come upon his face when the new stranger had appeared. He didn't like that his battle with Kousaru was being interrupted. Now, his attacks were easily blown away by the man. His bandages, were pushed away as well as the wind attacks he had released. His bandages, were made of an incredibly heat resistant metal, and so they were not seered as they flew back towards him. Unbeknowest to his two opponents, Kousen had another element which he could use, and it was the jutsu that he could release with this element that the bandages were made so heat resistant. He was hoping to save those jutsu until he needed them to surprise his opponents.
His eyes darted around, watching as the clones melted away after being hit by his barrage of kunai. Then, a flurry of 20 cards were heading towards him, thrown by the new stranger. These 20 cards suddenly turned into diamond blades, and Kousen became a little more hard pressed. He was already rooted down in a sense since he had used that root styled attack to take out the clones, and so he could go nowhere. He could block them by having his bandages expand out and cover him, but they would not be strong enough to prevent the diamond blades from piercing through, especially if they were coming at that speed and velocity. All that he could do was trick his opponent into believing that he was hit. That would give him the element of surprise on the two of them.
His bandages which had been sent out to attack the clones now moved back under him, but went deep into the water. Kousen lifted his right hand, pointing the pointer, middle, and pinky fingers up while he held the thumb and ring finger down. The seals on the fingertips of each finger that he had held up glowed faintly as he stood there. Houtai Bunshin no Jutsu. He watched the diamond blades come at him, but continued to stand there. Kawarimi no Jutsu. He acted as if he had jumped back, but it was to no avail, and the blades pierced into him, throwing him backwards a little through the air as they all impaled him. Then, he was hit by the fireballs and seven beams. His body was ripped apart with holes from all of the attacks.
This Kousen was infact a clone, but this would not be realized until it was too late. The bandages slumped away from Kousen's body, and the areas where there were holes in them revealed only darkness behind them instead of flesh. Kousen had created a clone that had been summoned out of the bandages he had submerged in the water, and then had quickly substituted himself with as the diamond blades hit him. He now stared at his opponents from underneath the water, biding his time and waiting to attack, when he saw the water under Kousaru rising to form a giant tsunami. He was pulled upwards slightly by the water, but the quickly pointed his left hand towards the floor of the large ocean. Ten bandages unraveled from his arm and struck into the ground, keeping him from being pulled into the tsunami. He then yanked on the bandages, and pulled himself down towards the ocean floor. After doing that, he had his bandages unravel from all around his body, but since there were so many bandages wrapping his body, it was only a trivial amount. The bandages then expanded out and covered him. Some of them stabbed into the ground to anchor Kousen. He was now covered in a sphere of bandages, with a small hole where the bandages hadn't covered to allow him to see his opponents above.
Kousen wasn't worried about expending too much chakra since the techniques he had been using had already been sealed into his bandages long ago. He had already used chakra for those jutsu, and so all that he was using chakra for was to release those jutsu from their seals, which meant that he was using only a small amount of chakra to use each jutsu. This meant that he still had quite some chakra left. His chakra pool was already large, and it had to be, since his bandages used a good amount of chakra to control them. However, to avoid using too much chakra to control them in a battle, he poured about half of his chakra into them whenever he trained and then rested up to gather his chakra back. Luckily, he had trained a week before meeting Kousaru for this battle. He was now at about seventy-five percent of the chakra which he started with.
