With our forum now about a week old, one must wonder, "What will happen?" Is the advertisement tidbit going to be a complete and utter failure again? Hopefully not. The rules have made this place stricter, and more fair, and it should hopefully be more of a catch to RPers. I'm sure not many people like starting from the bottom, but hey, I have mentioned before that extremely good quality bios are prone to get you to start off in a higher place.
In other news, The stat system has been modified so that it's a bit easier to use and comprehend. Whereas before it was 2000 possible stat points to about 21 stats, it has been modified so that there are only 8 stats, and a possible of 1400 stat points. My question is, who the hell would need 1400 stat points? Decent stats and performance can be attained just from leveling up to the ordinary 700. Still, it's worth training for the extra 700 since I'm sure others will do it too.
People from the older forum will of course remember The Game Box. In the days to come, I hope to add a Game Box to this forum. It will include the Special Operations, and The Death Traps. None of the other games were very successful. I will also include a "Lottery Corner" in this new Game Box. It's exactly what the title says it is. It's a lottery that can get your character lots of money. If you want to see other game types in The Game Box, don't be shy. Send me a PM requesting something. If it's any good, it will be used in The Game Box.
People will also remember Wager Battles. I'm going to be honest, that stuff was so hard to keep up, it's unbelievable. But, I am going to add that here as well. In fact, there is already a board built for it. The first wager battle will probably take place on the next weekly update.
Plot wise, I've decided to tweak things a bit, and then continue from where I left off from the old forum's plot. I will be hosting 4 flashback canons all at the same time, starting next week. This way you can get acquainted with the tweaked up plot. Luckily for you, none of them will be Death Enabled. They're just going to be up for fun and reacquainting.
For character creation, anyone notice the changes? That's right, the hassle is cut down! You now only need to list 5 likes/dislikes, and 2 flaws/habits. Much easier. Also, you don't need 6 bloody paragraphs of personality anymore. Isn't that great? Hollow lovers will especially be happy, because guess what? You don't have to start as an ordinary hollow anymore! That's right, you start as an Arrancar! Of course, you still can't become an Espada until you're class 3-1, but who said you can't start there? You could always cheat by making a really good bio.
Now we move to the important NPC's. Well, you've got it folks. I've posted all five of the Ogatago. You'll notice the previous forum's "Kuroi Oro" has been replaced by some guy called Kassen. That's because my Arrancar Character is called Kuroi Naito, and I didn't want two frequently seen characters to have the same name. I'll post a guide on how to beat all five of the Ogatago very soon, possibly in the next 2-3 days. As far as The Game Master, Miss Zero, and Husk go, you'll notice they all have question marks or "All will be revealed..." stamped onto them, and no actual bio. That's going to change over time. I'll be updating SLOWLY as we learn about them in the Canon Threads. And yes, eventually I'll post a guide on how to beat them as well, because let's face it, they're some strong ass NPC's, and most people will be like "Damn, how the fuck am I supposed to fight this?"
Well, that's all for updates. If you're wondering, yes, all of the weekly updates will be this large/long. Have a nice RP experience while you read this update.
