Plotline: [With Arashi Manako and Kurosaki Juuken both recovering from severe wounds in the Squad 4 barracks, inflicted on them from the destructive meeting a few days ago, Soul Society is a vulnerable place. The Devil Enma, unknown to most, is currently tending to a mission in the farthest reaches of Rukongai. Griswald P. Lorilad is also in a far reach of Rukongai, searching for ingredients to a new healing serum. With this, two Captains are missing, plus the Squad 1 Vice Captain is out of action right now.

It's an ideal time to invade Soul Society. And it is being done now. It was thought that fear of bringing the Zero Division would prevent him from taking action, and yet now he has. Satsujun, the God of Murder, has chosen to invade the Soul Society itself. Arriving inside of it, Satsujun has come with powerful warriors. Vicious, armored assassins from Xcution have arrived with him to keep the Shinigami busy, and it is rumored that even an XSG member is present. However, what is most disturbing is what this invasion is for.

Satsujun, contrary to what is probably popular belief, has not come to destroy the Soul Society, or to take it over as he did once before. He has not come to kill the Captain Commander, or specifically to kill anyone for that matter. Rather, Satsujun has arrived for the sole purpose of taking a single individual; Arashi Manako.] - Explain the plot of your adventure.

OOC: What, nobody joined? Well, I'm in.

IC: For Arhellai, Captain of Squad 13, the day started pretty normally. He had a coffee, breakfast, and then took on a mountain pile of paperwork. It was destined to be just another dull day. Nothing was really happening. Like a stalemate before the storm. Currently, condition of Arashi Manako and Kurosaki Juuken was one of more pressing affairs, but it didn't concern Arhellai. That particular one fell to his fellow Captain, Grimswald. To Arhellai, it seemed ideal. For as long as this stalemate would hold, some kind of peace would endure. But as soon as the war truly begins, there are gonna be lots of casualties. To be more precise, thousands and tens of thousands were destined to die from very moment this becomes all-out war.

But this morning, it had a smell of peace. You could practically inhale it. Not that you actually could, but still. Arhellai was beginning to enjoy this morning more and more. Working enthusiastically with open window, Arhellai didn't really feel time passing. It was one of those days, when Arhellai was actually feeling like doing some work, instead of slacking off. Among his squad, there was a story that on days when Captain actually worked hard, important historical events occurred. Some thought hat it may be true, some thought it was just a story. However, on this day, it appeared to be the truth, unfortunately for Soul Society.

When Arhellai looked at his clock, he noticed it's noon. He worked for an amazing 5 hours! It was incredible amount of work for his usual pace. However, it drained him, and he needed a break and a snack. So, taking a break for lunch would be a good idea. However, he felt like eating something different from his own food. And he just happened to know a good restaurant in Seireitei Well, i could even go and see how are Kurosaki and Arashi doing along the way. Perhaps they are better. Arhellai stood up, ready to go, when he heard it. The voice he did not want to hear on this day. Alarms. Soul Society was under attack. The war begun.

Arhellai quickly grabbed his Zanpakutou and run out. He decided to get to the Senkaimon Operations Center to disperse his commands, but suddenly, a man appeared before him, kneeling. From uniform, one could see that that he was a member of Riteitai, 5th branch of Onmitukido, the messenger corps. He quickly said: "Captain, situation is serious. Satsujun himself is here. Some of his minions were located to the south, but Satsujun's exact location is still not pinpointed. There are reports of his minions in both west and east, but still no visual. North appears to be clear." Arhellai was shocked. Satsujun? Here? But... why? Isn't he afraid that he will draw attention of Zero Division? He addressed the Riteitai member immediately: "Relay this order to seated officers of my squad: 'Shut down Senkaimon, consolidate and split in operational groups. Cover area as large as you can, but not stretch yourself. Defend Seireitei.' Go now!"

With Riteitai member gone, Arhellai sighed. It seemed that this was full-scale invasion... or perhaps not? Arhellai really didn't have time to think about it too much. He jumped, taking onto the roofs, and sprinted at full speed, straight towards the south, where hostiles were visually confirmed. It didn't really matter whether or not was Satsujun there. Both him and his minions were same to Arhellai, being enemies of Seireitei. However, Arhellai knew well that he couldn't take on Satsujun, not now at least. But, his minions would be good challenge too, considering numbers. Arhelai was set on one goal, one mission... defend home.

"My...you have quite a wonderful reiatsu, God of Murder." The voice that spoke when Satsujun was passing through a corridor with a simple march towards the Squad 4 barracks was confident, and playful as well. This person was not sitting, because he was too proud to sit while in the presence of his enemy. He stood mighty and tall, with broad shoulders and a quite extravagant black robe. His white haori was over it, and it was unbuttoned and flowed peacefully in the wind.

Of these Captains, this one had one of the most amounts of fame and glory. Sozen Kuchiki of the Noble Kuchiki Household had killed Zouma Santeku, who had killed the 34th Captain Commander Old Lightning. Sozen was a gaunt faced man with the most gorgeous smile in the world, and the most handsome face too. He had flawless skin, flawless muscular distribution and body size, and eyes that pierced to the soul. He was the Gotei's second strongest Captain, though likewise he had never met the first. None of the other Captains seemed to have met him either, or at least any that had told Sozen they had.

Sozen for this reason could believe that he was the strongest if he wanted to believe it. Before he went about believing it, though, he'd prove that he could also be one of the most cunning. Whether or not he was the strongest or the most cunning, he'd at least prove that he excelled in both. This was only naturally expected of the Head of the Noble Kuchiki Household. Sozen smiled in a daunting way, like he was the one who was trying to intimidate Satsujun. To intimidate the God of Murder had to be quite some feat. This was Sozen's first time meeting him, but he could identify him immediately.

Sozen held out his hand to the air. "I can't even sense reiatsu, you know. But I can feel yours...It's strong. It's hard to believe that you used that secret technique, Saigo No Houmen. How ever did you get your powers back?" Sozen was being a bit playful with the God of Murder. He wasn't actually going to fight him, or try to kill him or anything. He didn't have it in him to do that. Sozen had his limits against Satsujun. Fighting the God of Murder, even if this one was presumed to have lost his great powers, was impossible and foolish. Instead, Sozen would find another way to get things done here.

"Relax. I haven't come to fight you." Sozen clarified. "I merely wish to ask you about the Zero Division which sealed you. What kind of power did they have? What kind of heroes were they?" That was how Sozen would start things. This conversation would begin with his asking Satsujun about the Zero Division. In truth, Sozen was curious after all. His dear sweet Aoi was in the Zero Division, and he did wish to join her there. He wanted to know about them. He wanted to know what kind of hero would be allowed to join her. Sozen was sure that he would one day be there. First, he'd have to see if Satsujun was willing to have this conversation with him. If not, then Sozen had a problem that he would have to fix.

Akeru was sitting in the eighth squad barracks in the captain's office, filling out some reports. As they had lost Ranmakyu-Taicho, and Anastasia Fuka-Taicho. As they had gained the vice-captain of the eleventh divison Zeig Revolver as their squad's captain. Akeru's brow pinched together, it irritated him to be left in the squad all by himself. Zeig was gone somewhere, doing something and left this to Akeru as he had been used to the squad's duties for far longer. This had aspired him to try to transfer to the strongest squad in the Gotai 13 with an available 3rd seat position, the Sixth Division. Sozen-Taicho, well... he had gone trying to plead his case and be transferred to sixth squad. It was one of the strongest squads, apparently second only to the seventh squad. He had no inclination to try usurp Kaen's position for he was his friend, one of his only. But be that as it may, he was still getting even stronger. He had even developed a few new tricks and a whole new fighting style based around the new shikai he had unlocked. He was just finishing the last of the paperwork, maybe two or three pages left when the bells started to toll....

*GONG*...*GONG*...*GONG*

Suddenly, out of the air itself a member of Riteitai, 5th branch of Onmitukido, the messenger corps. He looked around, "Urgent message for Revolver-Taicho!"

Akeru stood up, grabbing his zanpakutou from the table. "Zeig-Taicho is not here and is currently occupied, for the moment i am the commanding officer of this barracks, what is your message?"

The man bowed his head in respect to the shinigami, "As you wish sir, it appears Satsujun himself has invaded the Seireitei itself. Countermeasures have been implemented to halt his advance, however his current goal and target is unknown. However, he was last seen heading towards the Fourth squad barracks, Sozen-Taicho was seen approaching that location as well, possibly to defend the garrison. Taicho Lorilad is currently far in the rukongai and unable to defend the barracks. Fuka-Taicho Kurosaki and Arashi Manako are currently being treated in the Fourth Squad barracks. It is currently known that a small group of Ryoka belonging to his organization are in the south and are currently engaging several shinigami. And there have been reports of a powerful member among them though the report is sketchy with the scale of the fight."

Akeru strapped his zanpakutou to his waist, there was no time to make a trip to his room and pick up his other blade, he would be fighting with kidou alone for this fight, "Relay this message to all able bodied members of Eighth squad, coordinate attack strategies with squad's Eleven, Seven, Six, and Thirteen. Do not let the enemy advance! Push them back!" He turned as the man used a shunpo and disappeared. Although the fullbringers were here, he was sure that not all of them were with the army to the south. He was going to head for the forth squad barracks and sniff out the Ryoka that he could.

He flew out of the barracks, the paperwork completely forgotten. jumping up onto a roof and speeding as fast as he could towards the Fourth Squad Barracks, Damnit why does it have to be so far... Many would see him flying across the rooftops, but the question was, what would he find on his way there?

When Akeru was moving towards the barracks, he'd notice it. An enemy already stood in his way, in the dead center of the road. This enemy was bald, and tears of blood were streaming from his eyes. He had a gaunt face, and thin, wispy lips. His skin tone was completely pale, and everything about him wreaked of death and agony and murder. He was truly evil down to the deepest core of his very being. And, his aura made it seem like he wanted nothing more than to kill. Perhaps he really did want nothing more than to kill. Perhaps that was his entire goal. His eyes were closed, and his hands were held together, palms flat, as if in prayer. And yet, the words which he whispered did not seem to be prayer. Rather, they were obscure.

"Jin, Saro, Me, Saro, Tore, Saro, Tatsu, Saro, Ne Saro." What the words meant was definitely a mystery. Regardless, it was something that Akeru would not find to his liking. As soon as the enemy was relatively close, meaning Akeru had gotten closer, this one's eyes opened. "Saro..." he murmured. "That's my name...It's good to know the name of your killer...because your blood is going to be spilled here..." And just like that, his eyes closed again, and he went back to chanting. "Jin, Saro, Me, Saro, Tore, Saro, Tatsu, Saro, Ne Saro..." And from all around him, some sort of black liquid-like substance was forming around him, creating a pitch black orb which he resided within, and which obscured him from view because of how absolutely opaque it was. However, it no longer looked liquid once the orb had formed. It looked much more solid than before. And suddenly, from out of it, a gigantic clawed hand reached towards Akeru from the very top of the thing.

Meanwhile, on Arhellai's side, he'd find his wall suddenly exploded upon itself, opening up. An enemy that had at that moment arrived had a joint in his mouth, and was smoking it quite joyously. He appeared to enjoy smoking weed. His eyes were a dim bloodshot red along the whites because of his smoking, though otherwise they were a light blue. His skin was tanned, and he had slicked back brown hair, short. He, and the man facing Akeru known as Saro, both wore robes that looked like a Shinigami's, but were actually white. This guy looked threatening just as well. "I'm Vindice..." the man said to Arhellai. He was holding his joint, looking down at it as it was taken from his mouth. He puffed out smoke.

"Whatever happens right now, I'm probably going to kill you...Squad 13 Captain. You're my target, after all." It seemed that people had been sent to delay the Captains and keep them busy. At the very least, this was what it might be. This guy had been sent specifically for Arhellai, which was probably a bad sign for him. The enemy which Arhellai faced took his joint, puffing it again. "Fire of the dealer." He said. Suddenly, his joint glowed a bright green and flared with reiatsu, and next thing an odd looking sword was held. The handle was stiff, but looked like a silver chain. The blade was bright and orange, and had a large circular blade on the very end, shaped like the sun. A crescent moon piece blade formed the guard, and allowed for two hilts. "Bring it on." he said to Arhellai.

Meanwhile, Satsujun stopped walking, and turned to regard Sozen disdainfully. It seemed that he believed any Shinigami, including those who'd become quite famous, were quite beneath him. Even as a human, certainly his power was legendary. That was how it happened to be. Either way, Satsujun looked up at Sozen. Before he even began to think about Sozen's questions, Satsujun looked to be processing something. It was clear from the beginning, Satsujun was knowledgable about the Gotei Thirteen. He made it his business to know about his former home. He could recognize Sozen from the getgo. So he knew how to begin. "I thank you for killing Zouma Santeku." Satsujun informed Sozen. "Poisoning that young girl's heart with vengeance was much easier than attempting to do the same to his. Not to mention, she is stronger than he was."

Satsujun kept one hand in a pocket, the other free. He didn't even try to attack yet. He didn't need to. If Sozen wanted to attack, then it would have to be Sozen who initiated it. Satsujun had no need to deal with a lesser bug such as the Kuchiki Head. The God of Murder had originally been not a noble head, but a Prince. A Prince whose stature far outranked everyone else. To hold even the most modest fragment of respect for Sozen was unnecessary to Satsujun. "As for that Zero Division, I'll let you see them all in the near future. When they try to seal me again, and I destroy them and the Spirit King and the Gotei Thirteen with my true power, I will allow you to watch. And then, when Soul Society is ashes, you have my permission to die."

Look out. This guy is dangerous. He's NOT a Fullbringer. He's actually a Mod Soul! Can you believe it? Regardless, his technique allows him to create an orb defense of this black liquid. The orb is very, very durable. If it's penetration, damaging the orb requires reiatsu strength superior to Saro. His orb can also release shaped projectiles or similar attacks, retaliations, and defenses. They will all be invariably connected to the orb, though. They cannot be severed or damaged without superior reiatsu strength as well. His maximum effective range is 20 yards with anything. The speed at which projectiles move is equivalent to 1/3 of his reiatsu strength. HOWEVER! For every 100 reiatsu he gives away, he can increase the speed for a single formation by 100 as well. This is his power. Nothing else to it. It's noteworthy that the dome is what actually does most of the sensing.

Look out. This guy IS a Fullbringer! And if we talk about powers, he's a pretty fierce one too. His Fullbring is called "Flame of The Dealer." His property is "Sinner's malevolent gas." It focuses on creating gases. This can be done in three ways. First, for 100 reiatsu per shot, the sword can release a burst of gas. Second, liquids contacting the sword instantly evaporate and become gas under his control. Third, he can, for 200 reiatsu, fortify the particles in the air to create a gas. The gases always come with the green color of his reiatsu, and thus are never invisible. However, the gas in particular that he creates can vary when he uses blasts. He can have one of three gases. The first, which is light green, kills 9 posts after being breathed in, though this fails if he is defeated. It's a poison. The second, a more medium green, is corrosive. Any exposed skin inside of the gas will begin to burn and corrode, and breathing it in has the same effects. The final gas, which is a very dark green, is very very hot. The inside of this gas cloud is 900 degrees! Furthermore, he can fire a beam of reiatsu from the sun portion of his blade. This beam harms nothing, and is white and small. If the beam hits the dark green gas, the gas will ignite into white flames.

This guy knows Bringer Light, but no other Fullbring techniques. The second stage of his Fullbring allows three properties. "Ignition," which allows him to fire the beam to ignite ANY formed gas into orange flames. "Absorb," which lets him magnetize the components of gas towards the moon portion of his blade. "Destruction," which is a final self destruct attack. It lets him detonate his body in a huge explosion of gas, which ignited two seconds later. The explosion covers two football fields in size.

"So you say you'll destroy the Soul Society." Sozen said. He murmured it too, so that it would stay a little quiet. Sozen didn't lose any composure or charm, or his polite demeanor. He just sat there and mulled it over. He wasn't one of the guys that broke down into laughter and tears either. He just chuckled lightly, laughing at what Satsujun claimed he would do. It was laughable, so Sozen chuckled at it. The God of Murder sure had a good sense of humor! Sozen was also easily able to get the joke. As expected of the Head of the Noble Kuchiki Household.

"Hahaha, forgive me, God of Murder...Your sense of humor is simply incredible!" Sozen chuckled again, just one more time. Then he took a serious expression and his eyes narrowed a little. "Oh, I see. You're serious, then?" Sozen had been mistaken. Satsujun wasn't telling a joke. He was being serious. This was even more laughable, except that Sozen didn't laugh this time. How could this fool expect to have a shot against the Soul Society? There existed some weak Shinigami, but also strong ones. Sozen was certain that the Captain Commander would turn Satsujun into goo, especially if he had the assistance of the strong Captains of Soul Society.

"I simply thought...that you must be joking." Sozen explained. "How could one such as you, who was once overtaken by your own Captains, or who was twice defeated by the Zero Division, possibly hope to defeat Soul Society? After all of your defeats, and on top of the strength of our Captains and our Captain Commander, do you not realize that you are no match for Soul Society, Satsujun?" Sozen was being condescending. He was purposely aggravating Satsujun and calling upon the God of Murder's pride this time. He didn't intend to kill Satsujun. He didn't think he was powerful enough to do it.

Instead, he just needed to get Satsujun to flare his reiatsu. All he needed to do was get the Captain Commander alerted to Satsujun's location, or even just get those sensor guys up in the Zero Division to know that Satsujun had regained powers and was in the Soul Society. This was Sozen's goal for now. He would have others, though. Once Satsujun began attacking, if he did, he'd find that Sozen was more than capable of surviving against him, and that there was definitely more to the plan than what Sozen had primarily begun with. Sozen drew his Zanpakuto, and held it dangling in his right hand.

"My sword is sharper, I think, God of Murder. So can you imagine the Captain Commander?"

"Don't laugh." Satsujun said sternly, frowning. His intense eyes focused on Sozen, and reiatsu began pouring off of his body. Indeed, Sozen had struck into Satsujun's pride. However, being as old as he was, and having planned the way that he had, Satsujun knew much more how to maintain calm than most would. Taunts like Sozen's were quite useless to the one called the God of Murder. The way that he said it however, Sozen would find most menacing of all. The black reiatsu that poured out from around Satsujun was more than just menacing. It was something of unbelievable power. It was something which, put simply, was an unholy enigma of absolute and unimaginable power. The air glowed green around his right hand, and then something materialized.

White wisps of energy and smoke were forming some kind of hilt and guard, as if from a saber, in Satsujun's right hand. And suddenly, from there, a meter long blade of wild, shrieking flames, like fireworks, or a jet of heat and fire, formed. It was hot. Even from where he was, all those meters away, Sozen would probably feel the incredible heat of the blade that Satsujun held. He hadn't released much power. None would sense him just from that, unless they had amazing powers of sensory, and unless they were close by. He'd actually released his non property Fullbring. This weapon that he created was good for showing off, but it really did have powers that Sozen should know to fear. Satsujun did not move, or even attack.

Simply by standing there and holding that heated blade, Satsujun was probably intimidating enough, and easily able to prove his power. "Like a Zanpakuto, this power comes directly from my soul." Satsujun informed Sozen. "Unlike others who use Fullbring, I tap into my own potential, rather than the potential of an object. This is my power. So you say that losing my powers, which previously lost to Soul Society regardless, makes my vision impossible." Satsujun held up his burning hot blade, the glowing orange light reflecting in his evil eyes. "But I am different from before. I no longer use the weapon of the First, Ryuujin Jakka. This is my own power. My own weapon. From my own soul, a power far superior to the flames which reduce creation to smoldering ashes."

Satsujun was bragging a bit. But, it was worth considering this truth. As a Shinigami, Satsujun had not had a Zanpakuto. He'd only had exceptional reiatsu. Instead, upon ascending to Captain Commander, Satsujun had gained the sword Ryuujin Jakka. This was how the tradition of passing that Zanpakuto down from Captain Commander to Captain Commander had started. Using Ryuujin Jakka, Satsujun had grown even stronger. He'd even mastered its Bankai, something even the First did not do. However, it was never his power, really. To begin with, it was not Satsujun's Zanpakuto, but the First Captain Commander's. As a result, it meant that Satsujun could never view it really as his full potential. With his Fullbring, things were different. Things...had changed.

OOC: Sorry for the delay. But now I am back and banging.

IC: Arhelai was running as fast as he could when he saw it. No, not "it". Him. A man was standing there. Walking straight out of an explosion, a man appeared. He had a joint in his hand, and he was looking straight at Arhellai. Arhellai immediately knew that this man was the enemy. Not only his robes were white, but also, even with his poor energy sensory, Arhellai could distinguish this man from Shinigami, for he definitively wasn't one. The man, who was obviously a junky on top of being an enemy, laughed at him and said: "I'm Vindice... Whatever happens right now, I'm probably going to kill you...Squad 13 Captain. You're my target, after all." Arhellai had no choice, but to draw his sword. One hand grip, a more flexible choice was fit for this. But Vindice had to say one more thing: "Fire of the dealer." Whatever that was, it appeared to be his weapon, for his joint transformed into an odd-looking sword. Arhellai figured this might be his Fullbring, for Xcution was primarily Fullbringer organization.

Looking at Vindice, Arhellai smiled, without really knowing why. "Well,you can try... But you can't succeed." Arhellai was good at fighting people in various ways, and there was no way that he would allow himself to lose now, when Soul Society needed him. He was there to defend Seireitei, so no talk about losing or anything similar could occur, not to mention actually losing. Also, Arhellai had a different arsenal than other Captains. His skillset and mindset were ready for this. However, opening move of a battle can be a thing that gives one fighter a cutting edge, providing victory, but it can also cause a downfall. However, Arhellai knew this well. He decided to go with light variant, nothing heavy. Arhellai lifted his finger and pointed it at Vindice. He did that really quickly, being fast as he is. In an instant, a small blue orb condensed on his fingertip, and a blue lighting fired out of it. It was Kido! A little trick that Arhellai picked up from one of his former Captains, Ginrei Kuchiki, called Mumei no Majutsu. It was forgotten trick, but Arhellai knew it. He could use low level Kido without even saying name of spell. And now, he fired off Byakurai. It was fired at Vindice, and had only one purpose: to see how will he react. After all, Arhellai always fought cautiously.

A side step. That was all that it took for Vindice to step out of the way. In the meantime, he'd already pulled out another, more ordinary joint, and lit it. He was smoking weed while fighting Arhellai. He seemed quite calm. The Byakurai missed Vindice quite easily, and it was noteworthy that he was quite a fast mover. He really did know how to move quickly. Vindice breathed out, exhaling a puff of smoke which Arhellai would definitely smell. The bitter, horrible smell of the weed wouldn't play well with Arhellai's nose. Then again, he was used to an alcoholic smell, so that should help him out a bit. "Listen, Captain..." Vindice said. "I know that a Gotei Thirteen Captain's not an easy target, but you should know something..."

He seemed rather mellow and relaxed. In an instant, he charged on Arhellai. He blasted forwards, an insanely fast mover. His sword began sweeping around as he also activated the properties of his Fullbring. He was slashing at great speed, multiple times, at Arhellai. "But I'm one of Satsujun's best...I'm not an easy opponent either." His sword barely missed that time, striking off one of Arhellai's hairs. "So even if I fail to kill you, there are other guys after me...Really, it means that even if you kill me, the second or third guy will kill you when you're exhausted from constant battle...That's how this works, anyway." He pulled away after his series of slashes. A few had probably hit, because of his incredible speed. Regardless of the result however, he pulled back, and slashed outwards. A large cloud of light green gas flew towards Arhellai. It quickly began filling up the room.

Akeru didn't panic, or lose his cool in any way. His energy sensory could pick up that he was dealing with a mod soul, and furthermore he possesed miniscule amounts of reiastu but what reiastu he did possess was more then five times as powerful as the strength as Akeru possessed at the moment. Akeru still was confident that this man was no match for him, though it would require his shikai. As he approached the man, he muttered that his name was Saro, and it was good to know the name of his killer as his blood would be spilled here. Akeru blinked lazily, and as the orb begain to rise he simply said a simple statement of fact. "No matter what power you may posses, you will never be able to harm me. For a thing like you can never harm a servant of God."

He was however a little surprised when the hand appeared out of the black orb, flying out at a superb speed. it struck the at where Akeru was standing in a blast of dust and rubble, however when the dust cleared the hand was merely crushing the street. Akeru appeared on the roof top to the right of the orb, the left of his original position and drew his zanpakutou. "Bless those who hear your words, Raziel'stensei." His sword blazed into light, flashing and turning into the mask that was his shikai. Before the liquid hand could turn on him again he spoke the first part of his plan, on ten voices he spoke one word, "Byakurai." A very dense and unmatched in power bolt of lightning shot from his two fingers with a reiastu strength of 2600, barreling down and would have pierced the mod soul's sphere like water. Saro had a great defense, and only the strongest opponents could pierce his shield.

However, he had picked one of the only shinigami in the seireitei that held the power that could without extreme effort pierce his defense. However the byakurai was only a stop gap, it would most likely warn him the attack was coming. But it was only needed for single reason, as his beam came to an end before the sphere resealed he spoke another phrase, "Seishou Yuukai." And then the inner part of the sphere lit up as it resealed itself to re defend him, but it would be to late. The sight was already given to him to cast his buzz saw of lightning that erupted in a split second and cut the mod soul in half. just under above the first rib, cutting his first heart, and both lungs in half. Akeru leap onto the path past the mod soul. He didn't even look back as he spoke, "You're defense became your prison, so it is a shame you never even learned my name."

Then he began running again, his shikai still in place. He gauged he was half way to the barracks now, and he had burned a good amount or reiastu to kill Saro. But, in retrospec Saro would have destroyed and killed many shinigami, it probably would have taken a captain to destroy him. Akeru sped on, looking forward. Just a little longer Sozen-Taicho... then i'll be there. Although he wasn't sure, whether or not he would be of help remained though to be seen.

Akeru had gotten arrogant. There was no hole left in the sphere. Why not? Because there was a defensive before it. The orb simply recalled that hand, and allowed a second one to form behind it as well. Put simply, both hands stood in the way like barriers, and the Byakurai passed through them, and hit the sphere. However, because of how heavily fortified both were as barriers, a pitifully weak technique such as Byakurai, which was the lowest class of Hado, could not possibly pierce the sphere even with such reiatsu strength. What was more, it was unknown if it could have in the first place. Even with that difference, the mod soul's technique far outclassed the byakurai in terms of classification. It was considered the "class 1" version of the technique, as it was using its full powers.

"Class 1" to "Class 7" was a very steep difference in technique strength. Akeru still had yet to get a chance to test if his Byakurai could pierce that sphere as a result, though. It had hit the hands, which in that case had nullified the Byakurai's power. It had left a slight singing on the sphere, which soon faded away. No opening was left behind. And therefore, when Akeru tried to form his next technique, it simply formed against the sphere, and was unable to penetrate, destroying itself in the process. He'd used up a lot of reiatsu for just one attack, being arrogant enough as to think he could end one of Satsujun's minions in a single hit. Being arrogant enough as to expect to end a high classed enemy in a single hit was a bad move. It was a better idea to try to gradually feel him out, not try a one hit KO. It was rare that those strategies worked.

Therefore, with his antagonist unharmed, and when Akeru thought he was done already and tried to move ahead, a hand grabbed him. How could he dodge? There were quite a few ways, but the hand would be surprising. He'd thought his adversary was dead, but in reality his attack had been guarded against. The unexpected factor gave a surprise attack factor to what was done. In short, the hand came out of nowhere when Akeru tried to continue on his way, and it grabbed out at him. As a result, he'd soon find that if he was caught in the grip, assuming he did not evade in some way, that he'd begin to slowly be crushed within the confines of the black hand. It was very dense and solid for what had previously been water. It had the potential to crush him to death if he was caught, though luckily Shunpo should do it. Normal speed would not be enough, for it had caught him by surprise, on top of being much faster than him to begin with.

Saro's voice could continuously be heard chanting within the sphere. "Jin, Saro, Me, Saro, Tore, Saro, Tatsu, Saro, Ne Saro." He was definitely an opponent who had been underestimated. Akeru was going to have to attempt another tactic. Or at the very least, he was going to have to stop trying to kill things in one hit. That just about never worked. Ever.

[Sozen Kuchiki]

"That's true..." Sozen relented. "You are strong." He paused, and then sighed. He could sense the reiatsu of the God of Murder. It was powerful. It made Sozen's own feel minuscule. He was a man of intelligence and wisdom. He knew when someone was beyond his level. He knew that he was no match for Satsujun. He'd also been no match for Zouma. He'd fought well, but things were different now. He was obviously nowhere near Satsujun. That was fine by Sozen! The dignity of the Kuchiki family was at stake. This was going to be his triumph in a way. As expected of the Noble Head of the Esteemed Kuchiki Family.

Sozen tipped his blade upwards towards the sky, and he spoke again. "Bankai." His sword started to dissolve away into red sand, which simply vanished away on the wind. "Akai Birido Seken." The world began turning red from around Sozen. First it was just the buildings. Then it was the sky, and it was the clouds, and it was the ground too. Anyone who was within a mile of Sozen, or anything like that, would see that the world surrounding him had become red. This was Sozen's domain. It was his red world. "This is my world now." Satsujun might know what Sozen could do, if he had information on the Captains. But Sozen had rarely revealed his powers since ascending.

Sozen, since becoming a Captain, had only released once, and it had been his Shikai! His abilities should be rather vague because of that, since he'd efficiently mutilated the Vizards so quickly. Later, the permanent psychological damage had been from a scarring and traumatic torture. Sozen smiled coldly at Satsujun after that. "Come, God of Murder." On cue, blades shot out of the walls near Satsujun, and out of the ground beneath him. They were huge, and all bigger than his body. They ran the risk of hitting and impaling him from all sides. Sozen had his own other strategy, rather than a victory. He couldn't beat Satsujun. He had a better idea.

While the blades were coming out, Sozen pointed his right hand at Satsujun. "The divine wrath, hail to the heavens. About face, three circles, five pyramids, nine lives and twenty deaths, show all. In the end there is only annihilation, and pain is without option. Yami #19: Haiguren!" Sozen made up the Kido. It didn't even exist. But if Satsujun saw an incantation, and saw the reiatsu beginning to flow out of Sozen's body, he might be mistaken by this. It seemed like a powerful Kido too. This could be a problem for Satsujun!

Arhellai never planned to fight in any way that could be his undoing. His opponent perhaps dodged his Kido with incredible ease, but Arhellai didn't care. It was simple thing. He was going to beat Vindice for all it was worth. He had tools for things like that. Tools to ensure that he won't lose. Vindice attacked him after dodging, naturally. Series of slashes were coming at Arhellai, but he wasn't intimidated. Arhelai was one of greatest masters of Shunpo that Gotei 13 had at it's disposal at the moment. Instead of boosting his speed ten times, he could boost his speed eleven times, and also cover greater distance with it. So he used it. Vindice was slashing at him one moment, the next he was slashing at air. Arhelai moved out of his reach, knowing that staying would cost him dearly.

Shunpo carried Arhellai to a distance of some 40 yards away, on nearby rooftop, diagonally left from place where he was. Even while he was still in Shunpo and as he stepped out of it, he was speaking. While it could seem as an Kido incantation, it was something else actually. "Unleash the apocalypse upon the world, and reduce it to rubble and ruins. Bring darkness and despair upon the living, Meikai no Hanshu!" His aura changed, and became dark. Arhellai released his Shikai! In his hand there was no longer a Katana, but strangely shaped sword, purely black, with green crystal on parts, and with a whip coming out of the hilt, ending with small blade with crystal part on it too. That all happened really quick, so Vindice could not interfere.

And Arhellai had more at his disposal. Effective defense, and even more potent offense. "Phlegeton." Black flames materialized around the blade, while whip wrapped itself around Arhellai's arm. While gas was appearing around Vindice, Arhellai attacked. Another Shunpo, for great speed. He kept his breath, for safety. he had no idea what was in there. and on top of that, he was wielding Phlegeton. Even the air in contact with flames disintegrated. Same would apply to the gas. But that was not important. Arhellai appeared right in front of Vindice. That was important. With all his strength, he slashed diagonally. Perfect idea, good performance. If Vindice would block this, he would face disintegration of his sword, which would be bad. Arhellai played his cards right, this time.
