"But..." Jin wanted to respond to Aijou when she finished speaking, but he realized that it would be a futile attempt. He stopped in mid-speech and just stared in awe. Aijou's eyes were...merciless. They didn't hold the innocence expected in the eyes of someone with her age appearance. Those eyes of hers held the intent to kill. They were so full of hate that they didn't care who or what they killed in their path to revenge. Jin wanted to save her from that fate, but he realized that he wasn't getting through to her. He didn't think that he ever would.
This...this is what the Soul Society has caused. Because of them, someone like her has turned into this. Someone so full of hate and revenge that they're willing to sacrifice themselves to obtain it. Is this...is this what it's really come to? Jin couldn't believe it at all. The amount of hate she held astounded him. She...no all of the Vizard, were willing to die to accomplish their goal. Jin had been willing to die too, but now he couldn't afford to die trying to gain revenge before he could even help his race. Why couldn't he make Aijou see that? Rather than dying trying to destroy a Society, why not continue to live? Continue to grow and build up their race?
Jin watched as Aijou's reiatsu flared a hot pink color before suddenly changing color. It became an evil pitch black. Jin no longer saw innocence in the young girl that stood before him. All he saw was evil and hate in her appearance now. He noticed that her eyes even changed to resemble Satsujun's, and this he was visibly surprised by. "Just what has Satsujun done to her?" he muttered to himself. All of this was unbeievable for him. He continued staring in awe, even as she invoked the powerful kidou.
He closed his eyes as the tidal wave of that pitch black evil reiatsu rushed forth. "Sorry, Zouma." he whispered under his breath. He knew that Zouma wouldn't have wanted things to be like this. He hated Soul Society and he wanted to destroy them, but Jin had a feeling he wouldn't have went about it like this. He wouldn't have allied with Satsujun, and he wouldn't have declined Death-Sama's help. Why did Zouma have to die now? Why did he have to be killed? Why did Soul Society keep taking away the people that meant the most in Jin's life? They took away his comrade, and that was something he would never forgive them for. His mind dwelled on these thoughts as the white suddenly flashed across his eyelids. Nikolaos was protecting them again it seemed. Jin opened his eyes to see what was going on.
What he saw when he opened them shocked him. Nikolaos had been stabbed by Aijou, and white reiatsu was leaking out of his chest where the stab had been. That was...new. Jin took a note of that, and also of the question Aijou asked him. Nikolaos not replying also brought up suspicion in Jin's mind as well. Then next thing he knew, Satsujun was speaking to him again. He turned his gaze onto that man who he felt had corrupted Aijou. He sat there in silence and only glared at Satsujun. There was no way Jin would be able to get through to her now. That power she had shown earlier was evidence. The look in her eyes told him she was willing to kill even him to reach her goal of revenge. "Death-Sama, I don't think we'll be able to retrieve that artiact like this. I'm sorry for losing my calm and making myself useless..." Jin said to Death-Sama. He hung his head and became quiet. Otto placed his arm around Jin's back and placed Jin's own arm around his neck and then tried to lift him up. "It's time to go then I take it?" Otto asked.
