"Aha..sweet!" she said. Asuka thought that this would be much more exciting. She walked over to the line and took a running stance behind the line. "Ok...I'm totally gonna beat Sven" she thought. She waited for the countdown.

A pure white material bow materialized very suddenly in Romeo's hands. He held it, and plucked the string back. He let it twang as he released it. "One." He said. He twanged it again, and something flew forwards through the air out of his pocket. "Two." he said. He twanged the string one more time. "Start." Whatever had flown out of his pocket exploded, releasing a flashing burst of light above Sven and Asuka's heads, the reiatsu blue and vicious.

It was like a firework being used to start the race, rather than something else. At last, the race had begun, and the two could run. The finish line was just ahead, and whoever made it first would prove to be the faster Arrancar.

The moment Romeo said Start, Kisune burst off the line in a dead sprint. The fireworks not affecting him because of his good discipline. A small dust cloud was left when he went off the line. He didn't even look back at Asuka as he went. His full focus was on winning. He had some good speed. faster then a normal person in fact. Asuka most likely didn't have this because she didn't train as hard as he did. This he knew for a fact.

Asuka wait for Romeo's countdown to finish and took off like bullet. She ignored the burst of light and and quickly dashed down. She was fully determined in winning the race. "Holy....he's fast.." she thought as she tried to keep up with Sven. She pushed herself harder, moving faster.

While they were very close in terms of ability, Sven was a little bit faster than Asuka. [OOC: We're talking 70 to 55.] Rin was physically incapable of going faster than Sven, she just hadn't trained her running enough. It was always possible to try and interfere with his running with an attack, but it was uncertain how.

Whatever was happening, Asuka had to think of something fast if she wanted to win. Sven had to keep up his running burst if he wanted to win also. The finish line was just a few meters away!

Sven did not slow down, nor did he know how close Asuka was. He simply kept running, making his way ever so close to the finish. He did know she was behind him though, but not how close she actually was. Sven knew though that winning was winning whether he won by an inch or a mile.

"Gah...He's gonna win...I don't really want to cheat..Hm...I'm gonna feel bad after this.." she thought as she was running. Asuka quickly pulled out her zanpakuto which was a whip and used it to lasso around one of Sven's ankles and pulled on it causing him to trip. Hopefully Sven trips and Asuka would quickly pass him. "Sorry!" she said to him as she was running.

[Jin Yamada]

Out of nowhere, a figure who appeared to be in his mid 20's suddenly appeared in the room. The man was fairly tall, standing at 6'0". He looked as if he was in his physical prime, yet his eyes showed that he was older than his face seemed to appear. His light brown eyes gave off a stare of maturity and determination. The man's tanned colored skin complexion made it seem as if he had lived in the desert all his life. His blackish gray hair went down to the back of his neck and was slightly spiked in the back. The man reached up and touched his bangs, brushing them aside slightly. He wore a fine black silk shirt over his torso with a silver chain hanging from the topmost button near his neck. On his lower body he wore baggy black pants and weighted black boots. A brown belt could be seen clipped around his waist over the shirt instead of underneath, and hanging on the belt itself was a small stuffed black bat and a black gourd. Over all of his clothes, the man wore a brown trenchcoat with deep pockets on the sides, and his hands were now in those pockets.

The man looked around the room he had just appeared in with incredible curiosity. His eyes seemed to be scanning the room and taking in everything he saw. He said nothing as he looked around. His whole appearance seemed to give off an aura of someone powerful and wise. Finally, his eyes came to rest on the two Arrancar running, and a slight smirk showed itself on his face. He looked from the Arrancar to the Quincy and then back while the smirk remained there. This man was Jin Yamada. The Leader of the Bounts.

When the whip wrapped around Sven's ankle, he knew that she was trying to stop him from winning. He tripped still and brought his hands up to lessen his fall. As Asuka began to run by, he grabbed her ankles and tripped her. He quickly got up and removed her whip from her grasp and threw it down towards the starting line. He then made sure he was out of her reach as he finished running to the finish line.

"Hah..I'm gonna make it..." she thought as she passed him. She suddenly felt something grab her ankles. It was Sven! Asuka fell to the ground. She watched as he made it past the finish line. Asuka laughed a little bit. Despite the fact that she lost, she had fun. "Aha..I deserved that.." she said in a low voice. She got up and sprinted back to the starting line to retrieve her zanpakuto and then to the finish line.

Very suddenly, a voice spoke from behind Jin. "Intrusion is hardly wise, Bount." It was Kuroi Naito, the Espada. He was speaking in his cold monotone, and with rolls of authority behind his voice. His eyes regarded Jin with utmost cruelty and contempt, an other worldly iciness. Kuroi walked away from Jin, obviously not seeing him as much of a threat. "Asuka, Sven." he said.

"Are you quite done? We still have something to show this man." Kuroi flicked his left hand out of his pocket, and a Garganta opened up. Being in his home, it seemed that Kuroi did not expend any Reiatsu for opening a Garganta. He stepped through it, and motioned for Asuka, Sven, and Romeo to follow him. As the Garganta began to close, Kuroi stared straight at Jin.

"You can use the stairs, Bount." Kuroi said emotionlessly.The Garganta closed in that instant, leaving the Arrancar and Quincy in an infinite black void. It was kind of like an elevator, for it opened back up again within a few seconds. Kuroi stepped out, onto the tile marble floor. As he bayed the others to step out, and the Garganta closed, Kuroi walked over to a large deck at the very end of the room, which led to the outside of Hueco Mundo, which could be observed from the deck.

"Over a hundred thousand feet downwards." Kuroi said. "Falling from here is a guarantee of death." His glance flicked over to Sven and Asuka for the barest of instances, before he looked back at the deck. "And so Quincy, what is your full proposition?" he asked. Romeo grinned. "A full on alliance to invade Soul Society." he said.

[Jin Yamada]

Jin continued watching the race, marveling at the cunning the two Arrancar used to try and best each other. His attention on the race distracted him from keeping an eye on his surroundings, and he finally realized this when he heard the voice behind him. His eyes widened a little, not out of fear, but shock that someone was able to move behind him without his realizing it. He quickly whirled around to face the man, and looked him up and down. He could tell that he was strong by the tone of his voice as well as his look, and this made Jin think twice about revealing his hatred of their species, for he was not yet strong enough to combat this man. As he stared at him, his smirk seemed to fade. An Arrancar. One of the things he hated most after Shinigami. They gained Shinigami powers, and so therefore they should be considered to the same level of hate that Shinigami were on. Jin would make sure that he eradicated them first before any other hollow, but he did not allow his emotions to show themselves on his face.

"I wouldn't exactly call it an intrusion as I haven't attacked anyone." Jin said as the smirk showed itself on his face once more. He was using it to hide his hatred for this Arrancar. He watched as the Arrancar went into the Garganta with the other two and the Quincy. "More exercise for me." he said as he made his way towards the stairs. He then began to climb them, heading up one at a time. As he did, he looked around at the place, slightly marveling at it. It was extravagant, but a little too flashy. He didn't want something like this for the Bount, for it would attract too much attention and bring Shinigami to them. At last, he made it to the top of the stairs, and looked around for the Arrancar and the one Quincy. He spotted them by the edge of the large deck and began walking over to them with his hands still in the pockets of his trench coat. "It seems we got off to a bad start down there." Jin said, once more smirking. "My name is Jin Yamada. Leader of the Bounts." he added as he made a slight bow when he reached them.

Sven heard the call of Kuroi and ran over to him as he opened the Garganta. He saw the Bount, but didn't know who or whta he was. He entered with Kuroi and the Quincy to the top level. he stepped out after Kuroi and the Quincy had and waited behind them as Kuroi showed the place around. He saw the Bount come up the stairs and ushered the Bount to Kuroi.

Asuka ran over to Kuroi as the Garganta opened. On her way over she noticed the Bount. She glanced over at him for a brief moment as she continued on her way towards the Garganta. It opened and she stepped out. Asuka looked at the deck "Whoa...Over a hundred thousand..." she thought. She watched as the Bount came up the the stairs. "We're allying with the Quincys...?" she thought.
