OOC: This is the Combat thread between #5 of the Seven Guns. Katekarin Mekatoku, and Lieutenant of Squad 11. In this thread Katekarin. The thread begins with Katekarin displaying his Fullbring out in public, he sits in his corner drinking tea as smoke begins to leave his gas mask. In a normal situation gas masks filter gas not create it. So this draws attention which Lieutenant of Squad 11 takes notice. He begins to ask question and a fight will boil there. And Katekarin never took his meds that day, so this can get serious.

The day started out normally. Katekarin woke up this morning and walked to make tea. Changing the filter for his gas mask he started the day getting dressed twice. One for him personally, and the other for Zukarinkuari. He happily sighed and stared out the window, he had an urge to head to Karakura town and see the sights. There he felt more at peace and since it wasn't really bustling there he was able to relax.
"It's a nice day outside isn't it? I wonder what I will se in Karakura" he happily said as he made his tea. Giseng was always his favorite because he enjoyed the basic taste about it. Something about Giseng made most teas amazing. As he stepped out the door for the bus, he forgot the most important thing. He forgot to take his medications, as he walked to the bus mild signs began to happen. He heard voices for a while, mostly it was mild. He thought it was just background noise and ignored it. Once he was on there he drank more of his tea as the bus departed and headed for town.
Hours later as he stepped off he walked to his usual corner. Which sat parallel to a nearby park. He calmly sat out a 6 by 6 square cloth as he placed his tea canister on it and sat down his tea cup next to it. He gazed out as people walked by, he decided to open his jacket and use open two canisters. Leaking out of it was a thick black smoke. He wanted to have fun so he moved the flow of the gas and made it follow and hover over people. Like those cartoons where a dark cloud looms over people. Anyone that walked by were followed a few feet by the cloud.
"Nothing can make this day go sour.." Katekarin softly said as he picked up the tea cup and stuck his straw into the cup and into the filter which made itself through to his mouth. The straw somehow made it past the filter without damaging it and allowed warm tea to go into his mouth. This day was starting out good.

Shade was scouring the human world during his time off looking for hollows to slay. The lieutenant never rested when there was the option to train oneself. If he was lucky then maybe he’d run across a hollow strong enough to give him a good fight. However, just as the vice-captain was about to give up and return to Soul Society he sensed a fluctuation of spiritual energy. It didn’t seem to be coming from a hollow, but it seemed significant regardless. Shade went to check it out and was led to a nearby park where he saw an odd sight. Before him he saw a few humans with strange black clouds floating above their heads in an unnatural way. This was certainly not natural conditions at play. There was no way this could all be a coincidence. Shade scanned the area nearby and finally found what he was looking for. A strange man wearing a gas mask sat on a picnic blanket as he simply watched the people go by. It seemed like this person was the man responsible for energy he sensed.
Shade, who had been using air ground this entire time, lowered himself directly behind the fullbringer, blocking his sunlight as he cast a menacing shadow over Katekarin. “This feels the same as the others... Is this another one of those combat-ready humans? Or fullbringers as Jango called them?” thought the vice-captain as he prepared to speak to Katekarin. “What do you think you’re doing?” said the shinigami with a menacing tone. If the fullbringer looked back he’d see the soul reaper’s towering silhouette made dark by the sun directly behind him. He would also notice that Shade had his hand around his zanpakutou’s hilt already. Shade had met a number of fullbringers prior to Katekarin, and every single one of them turned out to be hostile. There was no way he was taking any chances with this one. He’d already gotten a basic grasp over the abilities they possessed. They had a unique stepping technique that left a bright flash of light where they moved from. They also each had a unique item that they could summon power from.
“I need you to surrender to me and come to Soul Society for interrogation...” stated Shade with a stern voice. Needless to say, Katekarin was probably not the most eager to follow these orders in particular, but Shade, as well as the rest of Soul Society, knew little about fullbring. It was imperative that they find a suitable specimen to study right away since not many shinigami were as fortunate to fight with as many as Shade had. Shade didn’t care what happened to Katekarin as a result of the experiments that would undoubtedly be conducted on him by Sayuri. He only cared about the recognition he’d get for capturing the combat-ready human. Seireitei needed to know what made them tick so they could decide how to deal with them. Shade’s actions were for his comrades, for the good of Soul Society, and for the sake of restoring his family’s name.

He sat by the curb and amused himself as he allowed the clouds to hover over peoples head. Changing from person to person, the reactions they gave were priceless. He was surprised that no one would suspect the only person that would be calm wouldn't be the cause of all this commotion. He continued to drink his tea as he watched as people stare at the clouds hovering over them.
As he did that the voices were still there, whispering and talking. He saw some things around him. He honestly had too much fun to even be concerned about them. He may of forgotten to take his meds. But this prevented anyone from taking advantage of him. So he did not pay mind to the voices and tried to ignore them. "Ahhh. Tea. What a glorious drink." he happily sighed to himself. He enjoyed this peace and quite, well that was not until he was rudely interrupted and spoken to.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
He heard a rather rude tone. He didn't like that, he wanted people to respect strangers. If he wanted to be treated with respect you have to show it, but being who he is. He slowly calmed down and tried to make a reasonable explanation. He turned to see the Shinigami standing behind him. Although he did not know who it was, he found his attire quite nice. It was traditional and quite elegant. He smiled under the gas mask as best as he could and replied.
"Dont mind me. I'm just having some fun. A usual stroll around this town." he replied. Obviously if he chosen to replied that he did not want any problems to be caused. As he stared and studied Shade behind his gas mask he saw that his hand was on his weapon. a giant jolt of energy raised in his head and heart. Nearly pushing him into the red zone.
"he wants to kill you. Are you going to let that happen!? KILL HIM!!!" Zukarinkuari yelled in his head, he was nearly ready to break out to. But that was until he disallowed it by trying to speak again. But he was interrupted when Shade decided to order Katekarin around.
“I need you to surrender to me and come to Soul Society for interrogation...”
He spoke in such stern voice that it got Katekarin to think. He still did not want to ruin a good afternoon so he decided to pat a spot next to him. He wanted to share some tea, although he was required to drink through a straw. He allowed it to happen.
"Come, sit. We shouldn't ruin such a peaceful afternoon. Have some tea before it gets cold." he said offering Shade a Straw and a very nice tea cup. he then went back to amusing himself by making more clouds follow strangers as they walked by.

“Don’t mind me. I’m just having some fun. A usual stroll around this town,” came the reply to Shade’s initial question. It seemed like his suspicions were correct. This was no ordinary human. This man could see and hear him without any problem whatsoever. Further study into this human was going to be necessary, and Shade ordered Katekarin to surrender. Needless to say, he didn’t get the response he was looking for. “Come, sit. We shouldn’t ruin such a peaceful afternoon. Have some tea before it gets cold,” said Katekarin as he offered the soul reaper a glass. Was he simply being polite or was this the fullbringer’s attempt to evade capture by poisoning him? Shade would never know since he swatted the cup from the fullbringer’s hands. The tea spilled on to the ground and Shade’s eyes dug into the fullbringer like daggers as he spoke with such malice and such hatred that darkness itself seemed to crawl around his form, yearning to retreat from the daylight into the blackness of his very soul. “I said... ‘surrender to me’...” the soul reaper said.
It was clear that Shade was not leaving without the fullbringer in his custody. He kept his eyes peeled for any action by the fullbringer. From his experience, these things were incredibly strong with the exception of Arashi who seemed to just be awakening his powers. Not much other than that needed to be said. The lieutenant had given his orders to Katekarin. Little did he know about the Seven Guns or the organization that he belonged to. Soul Society was unaware of such an alliance of powerful humans on earth. Needless to say, Shade didn’t know what he was sticking his nose into, but if it was for the sake of his family’s name, he was willing to risk his life. Buraindo Kira would typically be begging him to cut Katekarin open at this point, but ever since Shade acquired bankai, Buraindo Kira had grown considerably quieter. It was actually a bit refreshing. Meanwhile inside Shade’s inner world, Buraindo Kira remained chained to the dark walls of the endless caverns in a crucifix-like style. A muzzle covered his mouth and his eyes burned with fury at Shade for conquering him and subduing him in this manner. He would escape and kill Shade one day. That much he promised.
The tea cup was rudely swatted out of his hand and crashed onto the ground. The beautiful floral designs were all over the ground. As he stared in emotional horror as his favorite cup was shattered onto the ground. His breathing began to become quick, as it became clear as the filter of the gas mask sounded the quickening breath. He stuttered for a moment, watching in pain as a weird feeling developed in his heart. It was immense pain.
Stress Level 74%
He looked at the Shinigami's eyes and was met with dark eyes. Threatening eyes, the eyes of a murderer. This kept adding more stress and stress as he was dragged into a stress full situation. He continued to stutter as he tried to pick up the pieces. But Zukarinkuari stopped him from turning around and picking up the pieces. He took this opportunity to make things worse, Katekarin was on the verge of breaking down. Constant thoughts were about his favorite tea cup. Although it wasn't the exact thing. It was a special copy that a dear friend in his past made for him. A gift and a thank you, he was on the verge of tears as he stared at it being crushed by people walking by. He even ignored the Shinigami's next orders. As he spoke his order. Katekarin began to scream.
"Ahh.. Ahhh!! Ahhh!!!!"
(OOC) While he he does that. He uses "Cog" I'm saying this in OOC because I dont know how to say he used cog. The effects is this "By giving up 100 reiatsu, the user pumps an explosive amount of intimidating power out. Anyone of inferior class will immediately be intimidated. This does not mean they won't fight. Those who are weak enough in comparison will feel a huge, exaggerated surge of power that will probably make them surrender. This can also be used on Hollows to actually scare them away instead of having to kill them."
(IC) He scream in despair and anger as people continued to walk on it. In a desperate attempt to get away from the sobbing man. He was left vulnerable for Zukarinkuari to take over. In his mind he grinned at this, he enjoyed it. All this vent up rage was the right recipe for revenge. For anger, him to take over. In his mind he chuckled at this weakening state. It was his turn to take over. It was his turn to show his anger, it was his turn to show this "Person" what kind of landmine he had stepped on.
After a few seconds of sobbing it immediately stopped. His breathing immediately changed, it sounded metallic. The breathing changed from that of regular paced breathing, to low and animal like growls "Surrender.. to you? Why should I do such thing!?" he yelled excitingly. As if he had pure adrenaline rushing through his head. The tone and sound of the voice has changed. He spoke with a more metallic tone to it, like when a one has a Vizards mask over their face. His yelling stopped as he undressed and revealed his version of his uniform. The fragments of the strait jacket and the remainder of the price scanner on his left shoulder. He took off his shoes to show he had combat boots underneath them. His attire ha fully changed to show that he had changed personalities.

(OOC: Sorry for the short post... I threw this together between classes... Been really busy with school lately)
The soul reaper observed the ridiculous display of weeping that the human was putting on. He began to think that the fullbringer was in such a poor mental state that he wouldn’t even make a proper specimen for experimentation. Surely there were better candidates than this blubbering fool. Shade wasn’t about to let the human escape so easily though. He was a special case, unfit to live among the general human populace. It was necessary to first find out what he was, and secondly to see what made him the way he was. It was only after Soul Society had done this that they would be prepared to make a decision regarding what should be done about fullbringers.
That’s when Shade began to feel it in the air. As the fullbringer screamed, his aura thickened to the point of being as menacing as Shade’s own. The lieutenant took a step back from the human as he threw a fit over the broken cup. There was something ominous about his aura. Almost like it was about to explode. Needless to say, the vice-captain unsheathed his sword in an instant and prepared for an attack. Sure he was affected by the technique, but Shade possessed almost no capacity for fear. He was too intelligent to simply let himself be scared of something without having a good reason to first. As far as Katekarin went, he hadn’t even seen what he was capable of yet. He’d place his fears where they most appropriately belonged. “Surrender.. to you? Why should I do such a thing!?” said the fullbringer after he was finished. The human’s voice had noticeably changed in the last few seconds. It seemed more sinister now, along with his aura.
Shade was certain now that he’d made the right decision in thinking that this guy was too dangerous to simply remain in the human world alongside normal people. He had to be taken out. “If you don’t... then you will die...” replied Shade with a cold tone. The lieutenant’s empty hand drifted to his second blade and remained ready to unsheathe it at a moment’s notice. With his other hand, the lieutenant pointed his katana directly at the unarmed human. “My sword thirsts... for your blood...” continued Shade as his eyes narrowed on Katekarin waiting for him to make the first move.
Last Edit: Feb 23, 2012 13:22:34 GMT -5 by Shade Kawada
Zuarkinkuari relished in that very standing moment. Having the weapon drawn and pointed at him. He had released all of the "pent" up anger that Katekarin had held in his heart. All of that was released in an explosive manner, and it seemed that this Shinigami had felt it too as he stepped back. He felt the exaggerated energy as it exploded due to willpower "Cog" he let out a little chuckle as he fixed the gas mask on his face. He had a sinister grin under his face as he continued to watch the Shinigami through it.
"Tell me. . . What ever you are. What was the purpose of destroying that cup? Did it offend you? Did it hurt your feelings?" he growled as he mocked his opponent. It was obvious that he wanted to gain info while trying to get to his opponent. Finally it was time for him to gain some actions because he was bored out of his brains. He used the negative emotions Katekarin felt about Shade to fuel his own energy. All this anger, despair and need to have revenge transformed into pure excitement. As he stared at the Shinigami before him it became clear in his head that he wanted to see him die puking his guts out. The very visual looking of it gave him intense joy. He let out an exaggerated laughter as he stood up. It was a mad laughter, like a mad man had found the keys to his strait jacket. And now he was free, free to take revenge on those that had wronged him.
“If you don’t... then you will die...” As he spoke that sentence he had a cold tone to it. As in an attempt to make Zukarinkuari change his mind about fighting this person. As if he wanted to save him time and he thought that he was weak. This truly got to Zukarinkuari as he stood there watching him place his free hand on his weapon and pointed the one he had unsheathed at Zukarinkuari. Ooohh he was had two weapons that he had to be aware of. This made things more exciting. Especially the threat he uttered in his direction.
“My sword thirsts... for your blood...” he threatened as he saw his eyes narrow his eyes to see what his opponent's first move would be. Through his visions he saw that the gas mask was in a bit of a mess, the scruff marks and the scratches shown that the object was rather old. The straps that have been used to tie down the gas mask to the users head went into complicated spits as it had many straps and "locks" to prevent anyone from easily removing his gas mask.
He looked at the Shinigami known as Shade. And saw nothing but a target to experiment for the gasses that he wanted to develop. The gasses he wanted to perfect, the gasses he had in his current arsenal. Now was the time to release, it was the time to show him what this "blubbering fool" the things that he could do. He wanted to show him the how many of those that doubted him the deaths that they experienced. He continued to laugh as he activated his fullbring. The black smoke began to leak from the filter and cover Zukarinkuari in a thick impenetrable smoke. There the changes to his gas mask became clear, it fixed up the gas mask that he wore and made it appear brand new. The appearance of the gas mask has changed too. Instead it became a more simpler design. Because his gas mask was an Evo5000 gas mask specially modified to be like Katekarins but allowed to have some spaces on the back of his head exposed. It functions the same way as Katekarin's gas mask but the placement of the filter and the section where the gases are mixed are placed in different places. The tint on lenses is tinted orange. To symbolize the change in personality.
When he stepped from the black smoke it was clear that he had changed. He calmly placed his hands onto the straps of his Strait jacket and removed four silver canisters as he placed them on his gas mask. They were placed like a light bulb would when placed in it's sockets. It was not clear on what was added to it. Inside the process of mixing the gasses took place and the begin to build it'self up. He stepped back and stared at Shade.
"I thirst for your blood as well. Come, let me see you puke your blood out."
He sadistically said to shade.

Shade stood, waiting for the fullbringer to make his move. However, instead of attacking, the human did something else. The lieutenant watched as Katekarin activated his fullbring. The mask that had been covering his face became much finer and didn’t look nearly as old as it had moments ago. This was all that Shade was able to see before a cloud of thick black smoke surrounded Katekarin. The vice-captain held his ground, too cautious to charge in to the cloud of mysterious gas. Judging by the fullbringer’s mask, Shade determined that breathing in the gas was definitely NOT a good idea. Katekarin’s abilities likely dealt in poison of some sort. This backed up Shade’s earlier assumption that the tea had in fact been poisoned. But that didn’t matter right now. What mattered was the new development of the fullbringer’s release. Fullbringers’ powers were not to be underestimated. He’d seen what Melissa’s powers were capable of in his duel with her, and he knew they varied greatly because he’d fought Jango as well. Their powers were almost opposites, so he had to expect anything in this fight.
“I thirst for your blood as well. Come, let me see you puke your blood out,” said the fullbringer as he stared at Shade through colored lenses. The lieutenant could feel the killing intent and it reminded him of Buraindo Kira’s own, however, he’d conquered his zanpakutou spirit and made it bend to his will. He’d do the same to this individual. It seemed like this person didn’t have any control over their bloodlust. It truly disgusted the vice-captain. Such lack of control would certainly lead him down a self-destructive road, full of pain and sorrow. However, it was not his place to worry about the human. It was merely his duty to dispose of him how he saw fit. “You speak as if you have any hope of damaging me... Very well... I’ll entertain your fantasies for now...” the soul reaper said, “My zanpaktou’s name is Buraindo Kira, The Blind Killer, but don’t let his name fool you... I’m the one that does all the killing...”
Shade took note of the smoke surrounding Katekarin, and disappeared in a flash step that put him right in front of the human. The soul reaper was noticeably holding his breath as he recognized the immediate danger of inhaling the gas. But needless to say, Shade couldn’t hold his breath forever. In an instant the soul reaper’s blade came sweeping across in front of him aimed directly at the human’s midsection. Strangely, his sword was tilted to the side so that if it connected with the fullbringer, it would only hit him with the flat portion of his blade. Was Shade going easy on Katekarin? Was he purposefully avoiding the use of lethal force for a reason? In reality, Shade was using a Kawada family sword technique called Taiyou. This harnessed the power of the wind with a simple sword swing. By holding and swinging one’s sword so that the wide part of the blade pushed against the wind, Shade created an enormous burst of wind that would completely dispel the gas before Shade would be able to breathe any in. The lieutenant wasn’t about to charge in without a basic plan.

(OOC) I hope so far that I am doing well.
(IC)
The words that the Shinigami spoke was not going in the direction that he was hoping it would go. Instead of trying to instill fear into Zukarinkuari. It only excited him some more. He was enjoying this very much because of the very threats that got his blood rushing. He grasped for his gas mask as he fixed it more. Staring at the Shinigami through the orange tinted lenses that he wore. He was grinning sadistically because he wanted to show this wretched dog what he could do. His gas could do more than cause a distraction.
“You speak as if you have any hope of damaging me... Very well... I’ll entertain your fantasies for now...” "Fantasies" those were not his fantasies. They were his goals, they were his drives. The very drive that will compel him to put himself up to the challenge. He let out a very large laughter as he stared at the shinigami some more.
“My zanpaktou’s name is Buraindo Kira, The Blind Killer, but don’t let his name fool you... I’m the one that does all the killing...” these fighting words were making him more excited as he stared at the blade that he had. It was an interesting. Especially how he described his blade. "A blind killer? Are those words that are meant to instill fear into me? Is that your attempt to shoo me away!? I want to see you die!" he sadistically laughed.
Shade would of sensed the killer intent. And that dispersing the smoke around him was a "smart" idea. But in reality it was a rather risky one. The smoke was just for show, and the color of gas that he used when he wanted to kill someone was white. A white cloud that would creep as if the very sky had drooped down to their level and wanted to use their clouds to suffocate those that did not wear the gas mask that he did. The wind dispersed the smoke that signified that he had released his fullbring and also made it possible for him to change spots.
For Shade to be close enough that it was pointed at his mid section. That means that he would be closer than 10 ft. In turn this was an extremely risky move, yes he may be holding his breath. But holding ones breathe would be considered useless if the gas is capable of spontaneous combustion and that is what he planned to do. When it was clear that the wind has sopped he used the opportunity to give more reiatsu for the shot that he had on Shade. Using 500 reiatsu he released secondary property which gave him the ability to control the flow of the gas, and made it possible to cause the gas to combust and also made the field up to 20 feet, giving 50 more reiatsu to add 10 more feet to the ten feet. Next he used 100 more reiatsu in order to cause the gas to combust. He grinned as he quickened the gas mixing and filling to the point where it flooded out of the gas mask. 20 feet of the Brain meltdown gas with the distance Shade was really close to the source. The effects goes as listed When inhaled will cause a slow break down of the brains systems. Meaning they slowly grow insane. As their brain slowly shuts down they began to grow even more crazier, starting from seeing things to the pure effect where they think they are an inanimate object. Finally resulting in death. Death happens at the strongest dosage within an hour. And that is if they were standing still, with them rushing to get away. It will quicken the death clock. But he did not want to rely on that 20 ft radius gas. Using 50 reiatsu he caused the 20 ft of gas to combust. Escaping at the last moment because his speed was 750. With the 550 difference between him and Shade. Shade would be in the middle of the 20 foot radius explosion.

(OOC: For future reference, don’t list things like, “Then he used 100 reiatsu to do this” in your post. Just say what he does and subtract the reiatsu of your own accord. It makes the post easier to read and understand.)
Shade ignored the fullbringer’s words as he charged forwards, directly into the body of gas, unafraid and prepared to deal with the human directly. The soul reaper brought his zanpakutou swinging to the side in such a way that it would cause a huge current of wind to blow, what he suspected to be poisonous gas, away. This was not all Shade did with this movement though. He didn’t merely swing his blade at the air in front of him. He swung the blade at Katekarin with such a force that it would cause the human to keel over in pain as it struck him in his midsection. But this would not be the end of what the fullbringer would be hit by. Just after Buraindo Kira’s dull side smacked into his ribs, Katekarin would be sent rocketing out of the cloud of gas. This was a result of the immense gust of wind that followed the lieutenant’s blade.
The human had made the mistake not to block or dodge the swing that had been clearly aimed at his side. This resulted in him being sent flying away with a cracked rib as his gas was almost instantly dissipated by Shade’s Taiyou. Needless to say, he’d be unable to do what he’d planned on doing given the situation he’d been suddenly put in. The lieutenant didn’t stop there though. Using a flash step he brought himself directly in the human’s path and stabbed forward with each of his blades as Katekarin flew at him. If the fullbringer didn’t do something he’d receive blades in each of his shoulders, rendering his arms completely useless. Was this all that a Seven Gun was capable of? Shade was a mere lieutenant while Katekarin held the highest spot in Xcution. Was this really the difference in power between soul reapers and fullbringers? If that was the case, then wiping them out would be no problem at all.
Shade stepped forward into his attack as he watched Katekarin with unblinking eyes. He didn’t expect the fullbringer to let himself be hit by such a straightforward swing, but he’d take advantage of it as much as he could. But surely Katekarin wouldn’t allow himself to be hit a second time. Surely he’d dodge, right? The lieutenant expected the human to avoid the blow he was currently attempting to inflict on him, so he prepared his next move for multiple scenarios. He needed to be wary of the unique stepping technique that fullbringers seemed to possess.

(OOC) Right, sorry. But because he did not do what he was planned to do. Does that mean I didn't spend anything? Please Verify if possible tommorow. I still have a few tricks up my sleeve -bows-
Zukarinkuari was not able to finish what he wanted to say. He was interrupted when Shade used his technique to cause the smoke to dissipate around him and send him flying. He felt immense pain as his rib broke but this did not bother him much. The pain was somewhat a pleasure to him. This person was not like any other hit that he had ever went through, the countless normal missions that he was placed on and how he fought a lot with Katekarin on how to kill someone. This was the person that would attempt to push him in and over the the very brink. As he was flying he sent out a laugh.
When Shade did not stop there, he had flash stepped behind where Zukarinkuari would of landed. And if he allowed this, he was sure that somewhere vital would be stabbed. Taking this he used his speed and knowledge on Fullbring step and used it to get out of the way. Multiplying his speed by 10 thus increasing his speed to 7500. But he did not want to do that, instead he had placed his footing on the ground and used it as a launch pad to do a back flip over the Shinigami. Because he had stored about 20 ft radius of gas in his gas mask and the pressure was enough to spray out like steam from a tea kettle. This was a good opportunity to release the mind breaking gas that he had stored up initially. Taking this opportunity of being over his opponent to release the gas. The effects of it were still the same and he still wanted to make it a 20 ft radius around his opponent. Because he was in the middle of attacking forward that meant he had an opportunity to make this Shinigami breathe in what he had in store.
The thick fume of white smoke began to flume from the gas mask and immediately cover shade in 20 ft radius of thick gas. That when breathed in would steadily cause the brain to shut down. This meant that slowly his brain would begin to go crazy and that he would begin to die because his brain would be shutting itself down. When Zukarinkuari had landed he ensured that he was not left open and quickly got away from Shade to where he felt that he would not be put in major danger due to a counter attack. Immediately as he landed he and before Shade could counter attack activated fullbring step again and had his speed multiplied by 10 then 13 Bringing his speed up to 97500 leaving 2 columns of light as he stepped away from Shade, the great difference in speed that was between him and Shade would me quite enough to prevent him from counter attacking.. He was excited that this one would be different than any other hit that he would perform. Through the pain of breathing in and out, he began to laugh. And watch as Shade was enveloped in thick impenetrable smoke that he knew would cause him to lose his mind. Shade was in the center of the gas chamber and because he had caused the poison to spew out almost exactly over his head as he was heading forward to impale his arms. That this possibility may or may not of been one of shade's scenarios that he would experience. Zukarinkuari had several tricks up his sleeves that he wanted to experiment on this one. He hoped he breathed in a fist full of the "Brain Meltdown" that he was already suffering the first of many symptoms such as seeing things that were not really there in the first place and as it progressed to the feeling that something was touching him.

The fullbringer was flying directly at him, and Shade held both his zanpakutou and his cursed blade out in front of him in hopes of skewering the human’s shoulders and perhaps taking two of his limbs off. “Surely he won’t allow himself to get hit,” thought the soul reaper as Katekarin looked at him through his colored lenses and a thick gas mask. The lieutenant’s suspicions were confirmed as Katekarin placed his foot on the ground mid-flight and used the all-familiar step technique to propel himself over Shade. This was not all that the human did, however. As Katekarin flew over Shade, he released a thick fume of white gas from his mask. Needless to say, Shade was not about to allow himself to be touched by whatever that gas was. A swing similar to the one he did before dissipated the portion of the gas cloud that would reach him using the power of wind. That was the weakness of gas-based abilities. Against someone like Shade who could cause an immense current of wind in front of him with a mere swing of his sword, they were useless. Katekarin would need to rely on another method of attack. Surely he knew how to do more than just expel gas in his direction. But a simple gust of wind would not get rid of all the gas, which is why after the lieutenant used Taiyou for a second time, he leapt in the air, far above the remaining gas that Katekarin had shot in his direction.
When Shade was a few hundred feet in the air, he allowed himself to breathe, but not before noticing the human’s speed. The second step technique appeared to be much faster than the first step he used. What was this? Was this a special property of the human’s step techniques, or was Katekarin holding back earlier? Whatever the case, it was clear that Katekarin was incredibly fast. Unfortunately, Shade doubted that his shikai would do much good against a foe with this human’s abilities. So if his shikai wasn’t an option, then he’d likely jump straight to bankai if things got hairy. But for now, Shade felt like he could deal with the threat at hand without releasing at all. Katekarin didn’t seem to hold a candle to fighters like Melissa Smart or Arashi. Unless Katekarin was able to fight in some other way, he’d find himself defeated within a few minutes. Shade looked down at the human with calculating eyes. Shade took this opportunity to rest and regain his energy for another onslaught. He needed to think this through so that he’d take as little damage as possible. “Should I take him alive? Or dead?” thought Shade as he glared down at the gas-mask wearing human, “I suppose it’s ultimately up to him...”
Shade pointed his zanpakutou at the human as he stood safely above the gas that Katekarin had expelled. “Your fumes are poisonous, aren’t they?” said the lieutenant with a confident tone, “That is why you wear the gas mask, isn’t it? You need to avoid breathing in your own poison.” Shade understood that Katekarin might only be wearing the gas mask to fool people into jumping to the same conclusion that he did. For this reason, the vice-captain also considered the possibility that breathing it in didn’t matter. His gas might be able to work in other ways that were less obvious. The gas mask might indeed be an utterly pointless accessory meant only to fool people into thinking that breathing it in was what caused the harm. If this was the case, then perhaps Katekarin was smarter than Shade initially thought. The soul reaper’s analysis of Katekarin’s abilities was not yet complete though. He needed to know exactly what the gas did. Was it merely a poison, or did it have another mysterious way of working? He wasn’t about to put anything past fullbringers. Their abilities were truly ferocious and utterly unpredictable.
He watched in pure amazement on how quick his attempt to gas him to death failed. This did not bother him much, as he knows a way around this wind technique And that is what he planned to do. He activated secondary property and a sickening grin grew on Zukarinkuari's face as he saw the gas he had so graciously prepared blown away and let out an utter mad laugh. He stared at Shade, through the gas mask his eyes were full of want and rage.
"You are my first that has done this.. Hehehe I have ways to deal with you." he growled as he stared at the Shinigami who was hundreds of feet high over him. As he breathed fresh air. Zukarinkuari was sick of watching the gas dissipate so he chose to control the flow in which the gas expanded. And he also had a surprise attack for this one. Because he knew not to breathe in the toxic fumes. He figured why not show that breathing it in was one of the many problems he would face. He allowed another large laughter as he continued staring. Zukarinkuari looked around and saw that his gas still remained, the grin under the gas mask grew larger as he stared upwards at the Shinigami who had confidently figured out the obvious.
“Your fumes are poisonous, aren’t they?” He replied with a somewhat polite term. "You figured it out. Yes, the fumes I produce are indeed "toxic", "Poisonous" what ever you can think of." he stared. “That is why you wear the gas mask, isn’t it? You need to avoid breathing in your own poison.” he then nodded. As a reply that it was also true. "Your technique. It prevents me from gassing you to death. I may not be able to get near you. But I have ways to deal with people like you." he growled at the confident tone that Shade had spoke in. His natural speed was fast enough to go with the plan.
As he said that in a blink of an eye he was gone. He ran in the direction of where the gas had collected, using his secondary property he was able to cause the gas that was around him to begin to flow in the direction that he wanted. To shade he would see that the smoke would begin to form into a trail and followed Zukarinkuari. Before then he would of recollected all 20 ft of the gas and returned underneath Shade. Without hesitation he used Fullbring step again and jumped up to the height that Shade. The gas had followed him upwards as well, as if it was following his every mental commands. Because Shade would be closer than 10 ft the gas would cover both of them in a pitch white circular cloud that ranged 20 ft. As he was infront of Shade he let out another laugh as he did that he used the smoke around him to become another launch platform and use it to get away from and launch away from him. As he did that he caused the gas around Shade to combust. Considering that he was at the center of the explosion and the speed that he was able to do so, it would of been like a blur that had collected and caused the gas to surround him. The combustion was to prevent him from causing it to blow away. Because he had used 175 reiatsu in order to use the kind of gas he was using now. The force of the explosion would be around 4 grenades exploding all at once due to the combustion being in all directions.
Remaining Reiatsu:2895/4000 -500 for Secondary property -5 for the control of flow for gas -50 for fullbring step X1 -50 for Fullbring step x1 and finally -50 for the combustion of 80% of the gas

Shade had escaped Katekarin’s attack for the second time and now stood 100 feet above the ground in the air. His calculating eyes watched the fullbringer’s every move and observed calmly as the human sprinted towards the cloud of gas directly beneath him. This is when Shade picked up on a useful tidbit of information regarding Katekarin’s abilities. Apparently he could control the movement of the gas he created. This would prove troublesome, as this meant merely escaping it wouldn’t guarantee that he wouldn’t have to deal with the fumes again. Shade didn’t have a way to destroy the gas entirely, but rather he was only capable of dissipating it momentarily. This would throw a wrench into the vice-captain’s strategy for sure, but it wasn’t a development he hadn’t considered. Shade would merely have to reconsider his course of action as he stood in the sky. Shade wasn’t given much time to think, because as soon as Katekarin reached the cloud of gas, he leapt into the air and quickly reached Shade’s height with the fumes following closely behind him. The lieutenant and the fullbringer were both instantly surrounded by the cloud of white gas. The lieutenant did what came naturally to him and he brought his left arm over his nose and mouth as he held his breath.
Shade dispelled the gas in front of him yet again with Taiyou, and was just about to leave the cloud of smoke when he noticed Katekarin shoot up further into the air like a rocket. The shinigami looked up through the smoke, and then it hit him. The force of the explosion practically surrounded Shade on all sides. Luckily the soul reaper had dispersed the majority of the gas in front of him, and because of this he shot out forwards and collided with the ground at incredible speed leaving a deep crater in the ground. The vice-captain looked up in the sky at Katekarin and growled, “So he’s capable of detonating the gas as well... I’ll have to avoid it completely now or make sure that he’s in the cloud of gas at the same time as I am...” Shade took note of his injuries. A few burns, definetly bruises and cuts all over his back, and was he bleeding? Shade touched his back with his hand and looked at it. Yep, there was definitely blood, although it wasn’t bleeding too much. The soul reaper stood up, picking up his swords and facing the fullbringer with a stern gaze. “Just how many more things can you do? The same trick won’t work on me twice... human...” thought Shade as his glare pierced Katekarin’s mask and bore holes directly into his eyes.
“Is that all?” said the lieutenant, unimpressed. Katekarin’s abilities seemed so... plain and simple to deal with. Sure they might catch unaware people off-guard, but once someone understood what he could do, Katekarin’s abilities were easy to avoid. With Melissa, the other fullbringer he fought, even after he knew what her abilities did he had a hard time dealing with them. With Arashi he was able to blow past anything Shade did to him and overcome him through sheer power. Katekarin was demonstrating none of the traits that the other fullbringers did. Was Katekarin even worth taking in as a test subject? Should he just kill him right now? The soul reaper’s head was buzzing with questions.
