Here we are, presented with a typical conversation between pirate and her zanpakuto spirit. Watch closely as we observe said pirate not giving a fuck to the deeply caring zanpakuto spirit who seemed to do nothing but scold her about her slacking off on her duties. Watch closely again and notice that the previous sentence was a run on. Zing. In any case, Anastasia Solis was back at it again. Doing clearly the opposite of what she should be doing. Sure, she should try to impress her new captain. Sure, she should try to care. However, after Ranmyaku left, she really didn't give a shit and after hearing a rumor or two about his old friend surfacing from the crime underworld (or something like that..) she didn't have it in her to stay. She'd only stay if her reptilian friend was there. Of course, she was still a shinigami. She couldn't give up her job. She had to live! Thus, Anastasia simply moved to another squad. Whatever made them thing she was qualified was beyond her.
"Man the sun is amazing today~!" The only person who could keep her in check and in control was gone. She didn't doubt her current captain. Oh no. You never doubt a Kuchiki. She knew that much. But she was just going though a bit of a...rebellious stage. Who wouldn't be depressed that their best friend kind of quit a job you both worked at? Ahh well...Not that any of that mattered. What mattered was the who, here and now. Who being Ana and Shoku-chan, her zanpakuto. The here being a rooftop of the tallest building in town and now being basking in the sunshine. The pirate loved nothing more than sunshine. It wasn't for a tan. She could care less if she was pale or not. What she liked was the warmth of the sunshine. Something about it just felt nice and familiar.
Anastasia was just lying back and relaxing. She drowned her spirit's voice out and her eyelids grew a little heavier with each passing second. Before she knew it, she drifted of to sleep. Little did she know, someone was coming her way. Someone who was going to interrupt her little rebellious streak.[/size][/blockquote]
