OOC: THANKSGIVING HOLIDAYS FOR THE WIN!
IC: Yeash. The guy was dazed a bit, that was sure. Arrion poked him a few times to make sure he was still alive. At least his eyes were moving, though whether that was from a last bit of blood being pumped or him waking up Arrion wasn't sure. Suddenly though, the guy was up. He didn't seem to hear or notice Arrion at first, which was odd concidering how noticeable a seven foot bear-like monster was. Then again this WAS Las Noches. Who knew what the norm around here was?
Then the guy actually got up partially and looked around. And noticed the guy he was sitting on faster than he noticed Arrion. Really, Arrancar were stranger than people gave them credit for. This guys apperance seemed to personify that. His head was frikin wrapped in bandages! Why was that? Was he badly injured on his head? Was he burned and scared under that bandage? Or did he simply have a shameful disfigurement he didn't want to show anyone? Or was he just hiding from the world itself? Bah. Pointless speculation did Arrion no good.
"I-I'm sorry. Are you okay...?"
The strange Arrancar asked the corpse he fell on top of. There was no denying that guy was dead. You didn't fall from that high up and hit someone and expect them to survive. The added fact that Hierro was in the equation made the guy little more than a pancake. Then the guy noticed that Arrion was there, probably. For all Arrion knew he could be seeing some sort of magic rainbow unicorn goring innocent hobbits on top of a rainbow wonderland. Peh.
"What are you doing here...? I am Gen Shizuo, Fraccion to Miss Asuka. What do you call yourself?"
Was he talking to Arrion? Eh, Arrion was going to assume so.
"Arrion Tanados, Hollow. Im here because I felt there was something going on here. Im guessing whatever it is is the reason you jumped from that high ledge, or did someone throw you out?"
Gen's glowing red eyes stared at Arrion through the fishbowl like mask fragment for a few seconds. Now that he was actually looking at him, he noticed that he was pretty huge. Gen became a little apprehensive standing near such a huge hollow. He took a few more seconds before he finally answered. "I didn't jump. I was climbing down to get away from the faceless creatures and slipped...." Gen stated. He shook his head to clear it and then returned his gaze to the hollow before him. "They were white and humanoid without faces. I killed one and four more took its place. Then ten more came....I wouldn't be here now if I had chosen to stay there...." Gen spoke in that monotone voice of his.
He finally got up from the body of the Arrancar he had fallen on and stood up fully. He stared up into the moonlit skies of Hueco Mundo while his mind tried to rationalize what had just happened. His gaze finally moved back to Arrion. "What will you now that you know there is something happening? Will you be able to fight these beasts that even I had to run from?" Gen asked Arrion. His glowing red eyes continued to stare, taking in every aspect of the large hollow while also remaining cautious of him.
"Will you feed on Arrancar during the commotion? Is that why you came?" Gen asked boldly. He was being dead serious. He wasn't sure what else a hollow could do here if there was something going on. Especially if it was something that an Arrancar wasn't able to handle. Gen was just curious. He really wanted to know, though because of his monotone voice, he came off as rude. Ah...maybe he shouldn't judge this hollow too much. He was probably pretty powerful. Maybe he could help Gen. First, Gen would gauge his response to his question.

OOC: This time it was Thanksgiving ">.>
IC: Arrion stared back into Gen's eyes as he stared at Arrion. The glowing red eyes were a bit creepy, but hey, Arrancar usually were creepy one way or another. Meh. At least he could talk to this one. As Arrion was looking at him, it became apperent that this Arrancar was strong. Stronger than Arrion at least. It wasn't so much Arrion knew it more than he could sense it. After all, as a Hollow it was always a good idea to hone your instinct enough to pick out the people who would kill you within a second, or people who were so weak they were asking to be eaten.
I didn't jump. I was climbing down to get away from the faceless creatures and slipped....
"Faceless what?"
"They were white and humanoid without faces. I killed one and four more took its place. Then ten more came....I wouldn't be here now if I had chosen to stay there...."
"I see. Sounds interesting."
Arrion thought a moment. So that was what he had been feeling. He knew nothing of these creatures that Gen spoke of. Of course Arrion hadn't been in Hueco Mundo that long, so he didn't know much about what else lurked here. Of course by Gen's reaction to them, it didn't seem like they were common. Or uncommon. Or even natural. What the fuck were these things? Arrion was about to get a close encounter with them though.
"What will you now that you know there is something happening? Will you be able to fight these beasts that even I had to run from?"
Arrion looked back up from his musings and at Gen. Was there really even a need to ask that question? Of course he was fucking going!
"Kukukuku. . . of course I am. Why would I not? Even with those white bastards in there, this will be one of my few chances to glimpes the interior of Las Noches. Every venture has some risk hmm?"
Arrion retorted. Well retorted might not be the best word. Responded maybe? I dunno.
"Will you feed on Arrancar during the commotion? Is that why you came?"
"Hehehe. . . partly I came to see what the hell was going on over here. But yes, I will feed if I have the chance. Its the only way I can gain power. Thats the golden rule of Hueco Mundo isn't it? Of all Hollows. Eat or be eaten, gain power and survive, crush your enemies into dust. Only then can we achieve power. Of course you know all of this. All Arrancar started as Hollows."
Arrion stated.
"Of course "chance" is the key word here. With those white bastards running around in there, who knows if i'll get the chance? Especially if they do. . . anything to the bodies they kill."
Arrion briefly looked down as the body Gen had been on. Well he was dead now. Best not waste a perfectly good meal eh?
"Speaking of which, would you mind if I devoured the body of the dead guard you're on? Best not to waste a perfectly good body."
Arrion asked.
"If you help me, i'll help you fight those things in there, if that is your intention. What do you say? I've done deals like this in the past with other Hollows. It usually goes well, I haven't had to kill anyone and eat them for betraying me yet."
"Hmm..." Gen muttered in response to Arrion's answer to his question. "I always wonder why this horrible law is the way it is..." he muttered under his breath. He then looked up at Arrion once again only to see him staring down at him in a way that one looks at food. Was he planning on eating Gen? But if he was, wouldn't he have done it while Gen had been unconscious? Gen's eyes then followed Arrion's gaze and realized that he was staring down at the body Gen had fallen on. He wants to devour this body? But what if he's still alive? Will I get in trouble for falling on him? Will I get in trouble for killing him if he is dead?
Gen had so many questions running around in his head. He moved over to the fallen Arrancar as he spoke to Arrion once more. "This is an Exequias....I think. What if he isn't dead yet? I might be punished for allowing you to devour him while he was alive." Gen said as he reached down towards the fallen Arrancar's wrist. He placed two fingers on the wrist and waited to see if he could feel a pulse. He felt nothing, and he became a little saddened by that. He had killed a fellow Arrancar. It had been a mistake, but still, it had been a killing. He rose and turned his back to Arrion. Gen was a cautious man, and he didn't want to be punished by Kouhai. Therefore, there was only one thing he could do to avoid that punishment. "I didn't see anything..." Gen spoke as he slipped his hands into his pockets and took a few steps forward.
As he walked, he said one more thing to Arrion in that echoing monotone voice of his. Arrion would realize it as Gen turned his back on him. He was accepting his offer, though Gen was going to verbally accept it as well. "It is quite sad, but it is as you said, "the law of this world." With the strength you gain, you can assist me in my endeavor. I looked out for you, and now you will look out for me." he said. "Follow me, and stay close, for I am your only ticket into Las Noches and your only savior from the monsters we will soon meet."

OOC: +150 CTP for Arrancar.
IC:Arrion watched Gen as he thought out loud at first. A horrible law? Not really. Or so Arrion thought. It was just survival of the fittest, those who survived and devoured more and more became the ones who stood on top. Those who were weak and ill suited for the task were rooted out and became food for the other, stronger Hollows. In the end, it only ensured that the strongest Hollows would have a chance to even become Arrancar. Of course, even then there were a few ways to get around that part. That involved sneaking, hiding, stealing and other stuff though. Something most Hollows weren't capable of doing in early stages.
"This is an Exequias....I think. What if he isn't dead yet? I might be punished for allowing you to devour him while he was alive."
"No need to worry then. The force of your fall coupled with your Hierro would have crushed him. Probably has a broken spine and rib cage to boot."
Arrion commented. Arrion continued to watch Gen for a while before the Arrancar seemed to make up his mind on the subject. About time to. Who knew what those white things were doing inside of the palace?
"I didn't see anything..."
Said Gen slowly, as he walked away. Good. Now, to finish off the evidence. . .
One meal later, Arrion felt the power of the Arrancar flow into him. Yes. . . yes! This was what he longed for! This rush of power, this feeling of advancement! There truely was nothing like it in the world! The best part about this was that Arrancar gave the most power out of all the races. Probably because of their combination of Shinigami/Hollow.
"It is quite sad, but it is as you said, "the law of this world." With the strength you gain, you can assist me in my endeavor. I looked out for you, and now you will look out for me. Follow me, and stay close, for I am your only ticket into Las Noches and your only savior from the monsters we will soon meet."
Just as they entered, they'd see it. There were a lot more than there had been before. Dozens and dozens. It could probably number well over a hundred of them. The white humanoid figures were simply stumbling around the room that the two entered. And, even worse than that, they instantly whirled around as they saw Gen and Arrion. A single pause passed. Just one, fleeting moment, barely even a single second. As the beasts registered the two, their hunger could even be felt fleetingly on the air. And then, they started to move. They blasted forwards, rushing towards their targets with their mouths tearing open visibly. They were all hungry. More and more were rushing in. Hundreds upon hundreds were planning to kill and devour Arrion and Gen.
They all jumped in a huge swarm, a dog pile towards Gen and Arrion. If they landed, then the effect was instantaneous, and their fingers started digging into the two, tearing at scraps of skin and shoving the bloody pieces into their mouths. It was then that a figure could be seen, sitting high above on a statue that rested on the highest wall, very close to the ceiling. It looked like a girl. She was small breasted, with a petite body that was covered in tight black cloth, outlining her shape. She wore black pointed shoes like from a circus, and had a face that was white like it had clown makeup, or like snow or a ghost. Her eyes were terrifying, for black makeup lined surrounding them like a shadow. Her eyes were a ghastly, absorbant white that stared at them. Blush made red squiggle designs on her cheeks, and her lips were vibrantly red. Her nose had the red swirl as well. Her auburn hair hung loosely in medium length from her head.
She was smiling while watching Gen and Arrion, and while the mindless white beasts continued to swarm them. Her reiatsu didn't seem all that strong. It was probably weaker than Gen's, and not much stronger than Arrion's. It was her reiatsu signature itself that was interesting. It didn't belong to the usual enemies of the Arrancar. She wasn't any Hollow type, nor was she from Hell. She wasn't a Shinigami, nor even "unidentified." The reiatsu was similar to a Shinigami's, but it was also a bit uncertain, a bit mixed. However, it was not a Bount's reiatsu. It felt closer to mortality than that. Therefore, it could only be a mod soul. It was a mod soul who had invaded Las Noches.
"I-Impossible..." spoke Gen in that echoing monotone voice of his. He stopped in his tracks upon seeing the vast number of those faceless white humanoid figures wandering around the room they had just entered. But...how did they multiply so quickly? How am I supposed to fight them all? I'll run out of reiatsu, and I don't think this hollow is strong enough to even help me fend them off. Gen's mind was racing, trying to figure out what he should do. He was scared inside, but one couldn't tell by how he appeared at the moment. His hands were in his pockets, and he looked relaxed. Had that large fishbowl like mask fragment not been on his head, Arrion would probably have seen the widening of his eyes when he walked in.
Gen was debating on whether or not he should try and fight through them or not when they all rushed at him. Quickly charging a cero in his right hand, Gen aimed that palm at the rushing beasts before letting it fire as a dark green wave. The wave of reiatsu washed over the rushing beasts, blasting through them and halting their progress. Gen then lifted his left hand and placed it on his right arm as he moved that arm from left to right in an attempt to blast the incoming beasts away. The cero served to halt the progress of those in the front, however, the beasts behind those getting blasted by the cero decided to leap into the air. There's no way I can take them all out. I can't keep this Cero Viga up for that long. Plus, one of them is going to get past it and when that happens...I'm done for... Gen turned his palm towards the ground, allowing the dark green wave to blast down into the floor and send him backwards. It was something he heard one of Kuroi's Fraccion did. Though his cero wasn't as powerful as Kouen's, he hoped that this was still going to be enough to get him where he wanted.
As the green wave of reiatsu pushed him back towards Arrion, Gen turned to his left to face the large hollow. His right hand was still aimed at the ground as he flew through the air, but his left hand was outstretched towards the large bear-like hollow. Gen was only 6'0 tall, and Arrion was 7'0, only a foot taller. However, Arrion was on the heavy side, though Gen didn't know how heavy exactly. He could only guess based on Arrion's appearance, which resembled that of a bear. In the human world where Gen went to observe things he found to be interesting to him, he investigated the creature called the bear and found that it was pretty heavy. He made this observation through watching it closely. His guess was that Arrion, who was similar in shape to a bear, was also pretty heavy, and that was why he chose this approach to reach the large hollow. "We have to go..." the Fraccion spoke, sounding calm despite the fright he felt within.
Gen's left hand would plant itself on Arrion's mask if he was on all fours, or on his stomach if he was standing, and grip tightly. Either way, when Gen's left hand landed Arrion would be pushed back slightly by the force of the cero propelling Gen. Then, in the next instant, the cero ended and at the same time, Gen used a sonido to increase his force enough to push the large Arrion back out into the desert and away from those beasts. When his sonido ended, he was sent tumbling with the bear-like hollow, who would most likely be offbalanced by the sudden cero-fueled forceful push back outside. The tumble would move them further away from Las Noches, he hoped. When that too ended, and he got back up, he spoke. "There's too many of them. We can't go back in there..." he said in that monotone voice of his. He then turned to look at Arrion as he spoke again, staring at him with those glowing red eyes of his. "I don't know what those things are, but there's no way we can fight them. If we had stayed and fought, we would have been devoured. When you kill one, four more take it's place. There was no stopping those things." Gen said. "I apologize for dragging you into this, and I advice getting as far away from here as you can."
Gen was a scaredy-cat. That was mainly what it was. He didn't want to go back in there and die. He felt the different reiatsu of that mod soul, but he didn't pay too much attention to it. He had no time to, and being the type of person he was, he didn't care too much to find out who it belonged to with such a high likelihood of death before him. He was just going to leave the job to stronger Arrancar. He was going to leave it to the Espada. He just hoped that Miss Asuka wasn't in there. He wouldn't forgive himself for turning his back on her if she had been in there.
Gen's Remaining Reiatsu: 1380 (-320 for Cero Viga, -100 for Sonido)
OOC: Now that I've taken a look at your post, I'll wait for Beyond's post. Skip me for this one round only.
I will decide on what will happen next based on what Arrion does. Since, after all, Arrion might protest and go back inside. Or, if you two begin journeying away, or if you two stay in place, etc. Depending on what happens in Arrion's post, I will have a different scenario.

". . . . I thought you said there was less of them."
Arrion muttered numbly. What. The. HELL?! WHAT THE FUCKING HELL!?!?! HOW MANY THINGS WERE IN HERE!?!?!? WHAT. THE. FUCK!?!?!?! There was way to many to even think of fighting unless one of the two had a good AoE attack, and even then, that probably would only piss em off! No, the best thing to do here would be to RUN. RUN AS FAST AS YOU FUCKING CAN!!! It wasn't cowardace to retreat from this. There was no way they could fight them as they were. They needed more help! Perhaps a few Arrancar had survived like Gen did?
Then, through a series of very fast events, suddenly the two of them were outside. Alive. . . ALIVE. THEY WERE ALIVE!!! YAHOOOOO!!!!1 THEY COULD STILL EAT STUFF!! AW YAAAA! But, those bastards had to be taught a lesson still! They couldn't just take over Las Noches like that and expect to live! HELL NO! ALL THE FOOD WAS STILL THERE, THOSE BASTARDS WERE TAKING IT FOR THEMSELVES! UNACCEPTABLE! THEY NEEDED TO BE IMPALED! PREFFERABLY WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!
"There's too many of them. We can't go back in there... I don't know what those things are, but there's no way we can fight them. If we had stayed and fought, we would have been devoured. When you kill one, four more take it's place. There was no stopping those things. I apologize for dragging you into this, and I advice getting as far away from here as you can."
"Hehe. Are you kidding? We just need more guys to help beat on em! Surely some other Arrancar other than yourself could have escaped Las Noches alive. I doubt Kuroi Naito would go down to those things. We might have a chance if we could find those others in hiding."
Arrion said, rather thoughtfully. He could be smart, if well motivated. Like a large feast. That would do wonders for Arrion. . .
"Did you notice? There we no bodies anywhere in there. There didn't even seem to be blood there. Normally, even when you eat a body, you leave blood behind, even if its only a little. There wasn't anything like that in there. The scent wasn't there. . . what did they do to the bodies?"
Arrion muttered.
"So, any idea where Arrancar might gather in case of an emergency? Outside of Las Noches, if there is a site like that."
Last Edit: Dec 16, 2011 22:39:14 GMT -5 by Arrion Tanados
And it was then that suddenly, from out of nowhere, there was a huge explosion. Up above at one of the higher levels of Hueco Mundo, a gigantic white reiatsu erupted out through the wall. It was a Cero, but one that was larger than any Cero that either Gen or Arrion would probably ever see. The thing was easily large enough to consume several Gillian whole, and all at once too. It made any Cero that either Gen or Arrion could use look subsequently miniscule. Any energy sensory that they had would be able to detect the power behind such a Cero as well. It was massive, and gigantic. The reiatsu strength behind that Cero was probably the strongest reiatsu strength that either of them had ever felt. It came with a sickening aura of absolute, crushing power.
Meanwhile, groaning sounds started to occur behind Arrion and Gen. If they turned around, they'd see it. There was a gigantic army of those white creatures, marching from the other direction, straight towards Las Noches, and subsequently towards Gen and Arrion. It was literally an army. This couldn't be good for them at all. It most certainly did not bode well, having this army appear. What should the two of them do? They'd simply stood there, and done nothing. This had also been done for far too long as well. Whatever happened next, things were going to become very tricky for the two of them.

The sudden explosion took Gen's attention from what Arrion had just said. He was about to start thinking of places when it interrupted his train of thought. He quickly whirled around to face the cause of the explosion and saw the gigantic white reiatsu blasting out of the wall. "Wh-What was that?" Gen spoke in that soft monotone of his. His energy sensory extended out towards the blast site to find out just what could have created such a powerful blast. That was when he was suddenly overwhelmed with the absolute, crushing power that came from the sickening aura of the reiatsu. It was almost as though he couldn't breathe in the face of that power. It was so stifling. Wh-Wh-Who's reiatsu is this?! It's...so...powerful...
Gen remembered feeling this kind of power back when that invader had been within Las Noches. His power had been amazing. Not only that, but the power the Segunda and the Exequias Leader had revealed to try and take him down had been incredible as well. Gen remembered the gigantic size of one of the cero Shiroi had used. Then, it hit him. Had that cero come from Shiroi? Did that mean that he was within Las Noches? If so, then he wouldn't have trouble taking care of those things. In fact, from what Gen remembered of the power he had, he could take care of all of these things on his own. His cero were so huge that they could wipe out more of those beasts than Gen's could. Gen was thinking about helping him, but then he remembered something else. He had killed one of Shiroi's Exequias members though, it had been by accident. But still, Shiroi might know about that somehow, and if he did, he was going to come after Gen. He couldn't have that!
Gen heard the groans just as he was making his decision. He turned his head and opened his eyes wide in shock. "Impossible!" he said. He just stood there awestruck. "These things have been coming from outside of Las Noches?" Gen couldn't believe his eyes. That simply hastened him towards the decision that he had been trying to come to earlier. He lifted a finger and touched the air, and suddenly it split before him to reveal a gaping black maw. He wasn't going to stick around here any longer. With the possibility of someone like Shiroi coming after him for killing an Exequias by accident and this large army of those multiplying beasts coming towards Las Noches, he had no chance surviving here. So, that was why he told Arrion a slight fib.
"We can go to Karakura Town. I believe that there may be some Arrancar there..." he said. He then proceeded to step forward into the Garganta he had just created. He looked behind him to see whether or not Arrion was behind him, and noticed that he wasn't following yet. "I believe Miss Asuka said that the Segunda was in Karakura Town..." he fibbed. Hopefully, that would get him to come with him. If not, then it was up to Arrion on whether or not he wanted to live. After Gen stepped in, he waited for Arrion to come in before letting the Garganta close. If he chose not to come, then Arrion would simply close it on that end and begin his travels towards Karakura Town. Gen wasn't completely sure whether or not Kuroi was in Karakura Town or not, and so that was why he had slighty fibbed. The other reason why he had slightly fibbed was because he hadn't told Arrion the real reason why he was leaving in such a hurry. Hopefully, Kuroi was indeed there, and could help them with this big problem.
When Gen arrived in Karakura Town, out of Hueco Mundo, and with or without Arrion, he'd find something quite disturbing the instant that he got there. First of all, he'd suddenly be hit by a huge reiatsu that surged from the town itself. It wasn't just one reiatsu either, but rather a gigantic blanket of raw, untamed, and ridiculously powerful reiatsu. It was refined, some of it. Other reiatsu was raw. Some of it was tempered, and some of it wasn't. Regardless, Gen was experiencing a huge blanket of reiatsu from the town. Forget that it was filled with high spiritual abundance. Forget that this town had been the place that was supposed to make the King's Key.
No, rather, it was because of all the strong beings there. Gen probably wouldn't immediately recognize Kuroi's reiatsu, even if he sensed it. So he'd have to go looking. But many strong reiatsu signatures were there. And lots of smaller ones too. Spirits, small and big, strong and weak. Lots of Hollows were there too. It was a good feeding place in general, so Arrion, if he'd come along, would not be disappointed. Furthermore, it had massively powerful people. Death-Sama was located in Karakura Town. And in fact, in general, so were the Vizards. Though he no longer had his full powers, Arashi Manako was also typically located there. In fact, all sorts of strong presences tended to inhabit Karakura Town.
Gen (and Arrion if he came along) would soon find themselves smack dab in the middle of Karakura Town's square, in practically a miasma of powerful reiatsu. Where they would go from there was of course up to them. The fact remained that there was a lot to do. They should definitely try to do something interesting, or at least interesting for a Game Master to respond to while they were there in Karakura Town. Regardless, it was time for their journey in Karakura to start.
