The female captain ran across the airground, observing from a distance, the destruction that the colossal battle had caused. She was running at about a stat speed of 200, her crimson red hair being blown back by the force of her running. Erected mountains and buildings, shallow craters, rubble scattered across the battlefield that was Fake Karakura Town. She had little knowledge on the details of the battles that had commenced, simply now a fullbringer was said to be in the area. Though she did not know it was a former Death Inc fullbringer, she anticipated that whoever it was, they were going to be powerful if they were here in the fake town. They had to have a purpose for being there and normally a lone person who has such ideals have the power to execute them. Alkaid was simply wearing her custom captain's outfit, basically it looked like a black tanktop with a single white strip circling around the middle of it, a large, belt-like, light orange fox tail in which the tip was white. For her lower section of her body, she wore four large, triangle-shaped, open white skirts that were stacked beneath eachother, showing them off in a layering fashion, and each had gold lines going across each of them, each line connecting to the next. Her knee high black boots were tightly fastened upon the female's legs, making each of her steps auidoable to those nearby.
Various thoughts were traveling through her mind as she was running. Who she was going to encounter other then this supposed powerful fullbringer? Was she going to have to face this human alone? If so, could she handle such an opponent? Alkaid couldn't remember the last time she actually had the chance to fight an opponent that was more powerful then her, it had been that long since she had to do such. The last one had to of been a creature that Old Lightning, her, a few other shinigami and even an arrancar had to face and fend off. This of course was so long ago, that age had passed. Old Lightning was gone now, replaced by The Strong Man and also Old Lightning's son Kurosaki. "Kurosaki..." she growled in her mind, remembering the day she met him. She was one of the first captain's to become acquainted with the son of Old Lightning, oh boy was that a remember-able experience. He had nearly broken her hand after she had tried to punch him for insulting the dead former captain commander, he later had spat on her too and she knew she couldn't do anything about it! Luckily, her thoughts of him changed after seeing him protect his father's grade from looters, showing he still cared for Old Lightning. Now, there was only one goal in Alkaid's mine for the new vice captain of the first division, and that was to prove her strength on the battlefield. That was now going to be tested.

Sent out once again, this time to defend the human world. Last time it had just been a simple test mission, fighting against some monstrous demon guys. Kento had easily cleared through that. He was sure now that there was a lot more to the world than even he'd been aware of. The last mission, there had been all those monstrous people. They'd had hideous appearances befitting demons straight from Hell. That was where he'd learned that Hell really did exist. He didn't believe in a "God" or anything anyway, but now he knew that there was a Hell. He wasn't sure if it was the same one that was mentioned religiously. Maybe it wasn't a place of torment.
Kento thought that it could just be a place where horrible monsters existed, a world of demons. That was plausible, since he was also sure that aliens existed. Lots of planets were out there, and some of them probably had life. Though, speaking of other life, Kento's arrival at the scene was something even more shocking to him. The two things that he saw then, the two people that is, were really different than what he was used to, and it terrified Kento. He stared with wide open eyes at what it was that he saw. He didn't want to fight anymore! It wasn't what he was used to!
The first person was a woman with black robes and a white haori. What the hell was that?! It was the costume of a grim reaper! Had death come to the battlefield?! Kento had been shaken up by those monsters, so he thought that it was possible that death could have come to the battlefield. He also saw a guy that looked like he was on his level, another Fullbringer. Kento couldn't fight the grim reaper and a Fullbringer of his level! That was ridiculous! Then he saw that the two of them were just facing each other. Oh. They were enemies. Kento cleared himself up really quickly. He was going to fight them at that moment, in that case.
It was cold, for the sun was setting. It basked in its glorious presence in the sky, crimson and violet hues painting a beautiful sunset. As dusk began to fall as well, parts of the sky turned dark blue as well, allowing the first few stars to make themselves visible. The clouds were pierced through by the beautiful light, allowing a scene that was very difficult to rival in its absolute beauty. It could be the last beautiful view that Kento Sasaki saw, so he would make the most of enjoying it. He didn't know if the woman was his ally or not, but if she was fighting the Fullbringer like it appeared, he would have an easier time. Kento sighed.
He was going to fight, now. For the sake of his friends. He wanted to help those strong enough to strive for a better future, as the support in the background. His x-gloves formed on his hands as he sighed, and his Fullbring activated. Kento was ready to start to attack. "The Force That Protects." he declared, giving out the name of his Fullbring before battle. He didn't talk to the woman at all, because he didn't think that it would be necessary to do that. Kento was sure that as long as she wasn't an enemy too, he could probably win this on his own.

Knowledge may be power, but sight is the origin of knowledge, and I see everything. I am omnipotent, and nothing happens in this world which can escape my gaze.
"Byoku Haien." The Fullbringer facing two opponents said, introducing himself courteously. He was wearing a black leather coat, long with enormous coat tails. He had a white dress shirt underneath the unzipped coat, and wore matching black pants and boots. His hair was black, slick, and long in a pony tail. One eye was a cold and evil black, while the other was odd, a red eye. He had both of his hands held outwards. His smile was icy, even scary. He was cold and evil looking while he faced Alkaid and Kento. Was he really going to be that difficult of a foe? For certain, this would be pretty scary to fight against when one thought about it.
Byoku had twin black gloves on his hands. He extended his right hand out, as if wanting to shake hands with Kento and Alkaid. "Today you'll both be subject to fighting against my ultimate power, you know. I hope you're ready, because this will be quite fun for me." His hands, which were extended out, were still terrifying to be certain. He surely wasn't fooling around while fighting Kento and Alkaid. This guy, he was purest evil. His insidious black aura which constantly surrounded him just made things even more eerie. It was evident. He was the strongest of the enemy army that had come here, and today was the day he would prove it.
The temperature seemed to drop ten degrees all at once, everything becoming chilling, colder. Anyone present would feel as if they were suddenly stripped naked and put outside. Goosebumps would make it up their skin and bodies for sure, and those piercing eyes that Byoku had were also going to make things rather interesting in the fear department. He wasn't anywhere even near the same as other enemies that either of these two had fought. He was in a whole other league. How did someone go about even getting as strong as him?! In such a short time, in such a puny human lifespan, it was inconceivable. What happened now was up to Kento and Alkaid's will to survive.
"The strongest element, the unstoppable, the forever and constant; This is generated even by the sun, The Wind." Byoku said, his right glove disappearing, giving him a sort of Michael Jackson style fashion. Not that it was particularly important, for an eerie breeze started to pass over the area as soon as he said that. Nothing else visibly happened or changed. Just a cool, calm breeze. What had happened here?!
Powers will be revealed as we continue. Kouhai vs Asa Escudo will begin in the next few posts as well. I just didn't have the posting inspiration this post.

Alkaid's attention turned to the new fullbringer that had showed up, not expecting another human here. He did not seem such a threat like the wind fullbringer did, though she was not sure if he was an enemy or if he was a ally. The answer came when he faced the fullbringer with Alkaid and declared his fullbring activation. The Power to Protect, what exactly did that mean? This thought raced through her head but was dismissed when the wind fullbringer began talking, declaring to the both of them he was basically going to destroy them and do it with a smile on his face. Then, to her shock, he released, revealing his fullbring to be wind. Her body felt like it was going numb, along with her mind as panic ran through her. Another wind user, and a fullbringer to have it too boot!? Who knows how much stronger he is then me, how long he has had his fullbring and what he could do with it. It would be a fool's death to attack, she had to run!... "No, I cannot not, I will not accept that. We must kill him!" unsheathing her zanpakuto. "Let us see who has become more versatile in the use of wind, Wail, Taifuu!" She growled in her mind, ending the thought with shouting her shikai release name. Her zanpakuto flashed and split into a pair of golden, short blades, she holding them with the handles facing the ground. A roaring gale suddenly flared from her shikai, racing upwards into the air and causing all of her hair to hover, giving it almost a spiky look as she glared at the wind fullbringer coldly.
This only lasted a couple of seconds, then it died down, and Alkaid held one of blades infront of her with the handle raising the air, holding the handle according with the top of her thumb facing the air while her second blade was in the opposite position, raising in the air behind her with the blade upward and the handle facing the ground with her thumb. Alkaid was taking her stance like this for a reason, besides it being a natural fighting style for her. She knew that no doubt, this fullbringer had many advantages over her, including his mastery of wind. She wasn't that old in shinigami standards, only about 150 years old and she had only become a captain at the age of 120. Sure, she had received her shikai sooner and was moderately skilled at using her wind, but mastery?
Not yet. She had no idea how old this fullbringer was but he looked the part to be a far superior opponent then her. All she good do was try, try and win, try and use everything she had in her experience and fighting spirit to take this guy down. She tried to ignore the chilling feeling that came with the wind, as if something was wrong. Well yeah, no doubt, something indeed was wrong but Alkaid had to make a move, she had to do something to try and take this guy down. Alkaid suddenly kicked off into a run, heading in a straight line rightward, performing no arcs. Her eyes were locked on Byoku, watching to see what exactly he had done as she dropped her arms down to her sides and slashed low with her left blade at the fullbring, releasing a gust of wind that swept low across the ground. She was trying to, literally, sweep him off his feet or at the very least distract him for a bit or make him reveal his powers. She did not stop moving at all, redirectioning herself to run so she would eventually be parallel to his side. That of course would take time to occur but it was only a matter of moments, the female building up wind around her blades as she continued running, doing this from the turn.

Kento saw things begin to rustle, and he saw that there was a breeze making its way towards them. Though Alkaid headed towards Byoku, Kento's gut instincts kicked in, and he blasted force from his x-gloves, having them face in front of him, and shoot him away at enormous speed. That breeze, it had to be dangerous. Kento didn't want to come into any contact with that wind. On the way, he aimed upwards, releasing force to shoot himself down, though he used only one hand for this, using the other to release some force only a split second later, so that he could balance himself and slow as he reached the ground.
Kento hid behind a building as the breeze passed over, then used the force of his gloves to shoot back up into the sky, and fire off towards Byoku, who was being attacked by Alkaid. Someone of wind use like Alkaid was probably completely useless, and Kento saw this. He saw that she used wind, and that Byoku also used wind, and that this probably made her more dead weight in the fight than anything else. Kento was basically on his own. He didn't even need to talk to anyone to deduce that. His stony eyes and near emotionless gaze were good for the situation, because he regarded everything very calmly and very well. His senses and instincts had been kicked into overdrive by this situation.
Kento blasted more force from his gloves while moving forwards, and rocketed into a 6400 stat speed glide towards Byoku. There was no way that guy was fast enough to deal with that. It was fast enough that Kento defied winds, entering almost into some sort of wind tunnel, a vacuum with no wind. It was like breaking the speed of sound. In fact, it really was breaking the speed of sound. Kento was moving at a ways above Mach 2. Such an instant speed let him drive his fist forwards, towards Byoku's face. If this hit, then Byoku would get punched by Kento, and the reverberating force would blow apart his head.
It would kill Byoku instantly. Kento didn't have any powers that let him hold back. All of his moves were like that. They hit and killed. It was hard to just to damage. He was weary, but he wanted to get this over with quickly anyway. So, Kento was launching this attack, knowing fullwell that if his attack failed, there were consequences. However, considering that he was almost alone in a fight against someone of this strength, Kento considered that perhaps trying to end it fast like this was a wise decision on his part. Otherwise he could be seeing some nasty red some time in the near future.
Kento's Reiatsu: 3800/4000
Main Fullbring Level 1 is Active
Knowledge may be power, but sight is the origin of knowledge, and I see everything. I am omnipotent, and nothing happens in this world which can escape my gaze.
Alkaid's move came first, since Kento was moving away from the breeze. This was a wise decision. By allowing the breeze to come into contact with her, and by continuing to move and even use her own winds, Alkaid allowed herself to be captured. When the wind flew out of her weapons, instead, slashes burst across her chest, cutting her and drawing large sprays of blood. Her movement as well was halted, stopped dead by a huge surging wind current that she could not escape. It started moving in a circular motion, twirling Alkaid uncontrollably in a counterclockwise direction. To this, Byoku had almost guaranteed himself a victory. It should be obvious as to what had happened to Alkaid, and why it was that Kento was not relying on her, either. Byoku was not like her. He was a Fullbringer! Though he had nothing like Kido, and his arsenal size was smaller and inferior, his release had more command potential.
He really did control wind. All wind. All air! Alkaid's wind based powers had not been able to remain her own. He'd taken over Alkaid's wind, and then he'd used it against her. This guy was scary. Winds were suddenly beginning to rise up and blaze all around him, huge, powerful currents. Even Kento, who approached in a sort of vacuum with his speed, couldn't match up. He was caught directly by two winds at once, which bustled and jostled him around so much that he was sent to the side, causing him to move directly past Byoku, dead on missing. This happened with sound as well. Sometimes, wind was so violent that it became distorted, and it sounded as if it was underwater. This could happen if one had two windows open completely in a car while driving quickly on a windy day.
At any rate, Kento had been foiled, as had Alkaid. Both were facing the most powerful of the Escudo forces, Byoku Haien! He didn't once show any indication of letting up the winds, and he didn't move at all. He stood there in one place, his hands pocketed. He...didn't even need his hands to control the wind! The wind surrounding him made it impossible for most people to get near, especially someone physical like Kento was. However, Kento's attempt had gotten close, and there were other ways of doing this. On the other hand, Alkaid was in very deep trouble. Her abilities were completely wind based. If Byoku could take those over, essentially it meant he could control her Zanpakuto, and all of its powers. In this case, she was probably doomed to be useless with just her Zanpakuto. Alkaid would only be able to provide any form of support through Kido.
Could it be that Byoku could sense the wind, also? This was how he controlled it? He sensed all winds, and just asserted his dominance over them? That would be a terrifying power. For all they knew, it really was his power. Suddenly, a shrieking sound could be heard. In front of Alkaid, a leaf had been passing by, and it was suddenly sliced in half as if by a katana. Byoku was attacking with wind! He'd missed that time, but another wind blade would soon be coming! On Kento's side, the same was happening. Molecules of dust, which he would be able to see, were blown away, and even cut and severed. Both Kento and Alkaid were under attack by wind, which Byoku commanded as if he was a God. Was this the true power...of King Shada and Asa Escudo...? Even Fullbringers had defected to their sides!
Meanwhile. . .
"Kukukuku....How amusing, Asa Escudo." Sonken Kouhai declared, observing her heinous and evil smile as her eyes opened and lit, revealing that they were glowing red, that her pupils had Xs in them. "That you were the true Leader of this group, I would never have guessed. That you would surpass even dear Fusil, to whom we denied the Primera spot in the Espada." Kouhai's Zanpakuto was out, obviously, as was Asa's. By that point, Asa had sealed her release after defeating numerous Vizards all at once. Her Zanpakuto release was massive, impressive, and powerful. Kouhai on the other hand, was finally going to reveal the full extent of his power. He'd never really shown people much of his strength. Surely, Asa was going to be shocked by just how strong Kouhai was.
"Bereave, Heishi Mitsukai." Kouhai said, his blade beginning to release golden reiatsu everywhere. From the sky, almost as if in slow motion, snowflakes began to fall, over a thousand of them. They were large, and they were golden. They simply fell at a slow speed, coming down everywhere. "Oh my my. I've already heard of this ability." Asa declared. "Heishi Mitsukai, which holds an illusion in every snowflake. This is not even a challenge, Sonken Kouhai." Asa's reiatsu started pouring off of her body with great earnest, but Kouhai was smiling darkly. Asa was probably going to release momentarily, and yet he still couldn't stop. His snowflakes wouldn't be able to survive in Asa's water, however this didn't seem to phase Kouhai at all. Not one bit. Why was this?
Suddenly, a gigantic red Senkaimon opened up in place, appearing and tearing itself open. Powerful winds blew out of it, and a figure much smaller than the actual gateway stepped out. This man, with his crisp cut black hair and his confident black eyes was obviously quite powerful. He had a confident smile on his face, a scar on his chin, and a very attractive face. He wore white Shikakusho, and a black Haori with white insignia on the back giving the Kanji for "Zero." Alkaid and Kento probably wouldn't be too sure of this guy. Alkaid would get a decent idea, probably, being a Captain and all, but Kento of course would have no clue at all. This was someone that Alkaid have even possibly met before, actually.
Shinsei Tan'O, Zero Division! He was Corp Leader 4E, known as quite powerful of course. He had his Zanpakuto drawn already, and was watching Byoku even in that moment. "You two. Get back." Shinsei declared towards Alkaid and Kento. "This needs to be wrapped up. I'm taking charge of the situation." He moved his palm across the length of his blade, causing the entire blade to change into a broadsword with a few holes in it, and some string tied around the hilt. "Tategami." Shinsei said, his Zanpakuto releasing into a Shikai state. He smiled coolly. "Don't worry, Fullbringer. Not even your wind will be able to deflect my strike." Shinsei grinned, and then slashed. "RYUUKI SHOUSHOU!" Instantly, a gigantic orb of blue reiatsu flew forwards. It was huge, monstrous.
In a single instant, it smashed into Byoku, who lacked the means to defend against it. A single brilliant explosion of blue lit the sky as Shinsei watched. When at last the detonation completed, all that could be seen of Byoku was a burnt corpse dissolving into ash, and descending down across the ground. This was it. He'd been thoroughly defeated, after all. Byoku had lost to Shinsei Tan'O, Zero Division.
Meanwhile. . .
"Oh my. You were quite weak after all." Right there, Asa Escudo was impaled against a wall, a streak of blood rising all the way up to her body. Her face was blank as she lay there. Golden reiatsu was just turning to a gold dust, and dissolving away from her body. Even if she used Forza Adamento, she'd been no match for Sonken Kouhai. How he'd beaten her was uncertain. None had witnessed the battle. However, Kouhai was there and victorious nonetheless. His smile was cold, and his hair was slicked back. Surprisingly, there were no wounds on him at all. There was blood on his clothes and on his face, but none of it was his. Examining his body would reveal that he had won technically without even so much as a scratch. Asa Escudo had failed. No one had ever realized the full extent of Sonken Kouhai's full power.
End of Canon 39.
Not gonna lie. You guys did hardly anything. No reward for this one.
