Jin's eyes widened when he saw Kotetsu there. His attack was easily dispersed once again, but it looked like his plan after that had failed. He had accounted for his heat blast being dispersed, but he hadn't accounted for Kotetsu's speed. He had been there before Jin's attack had fired out completely. Then, next thing Jin knew, his arms were gone. It had happened in a flash. He looked down before feeling the pain and saw the stumps there. Then, all of that pain came rushing to him. He screamed out in pain, but then silenced himself when he realized he had. Warriors didn't scream out in pain in battle. That's what he had learned.
Next thing he knew, he saw the flash of light and knew what it was instantly. It was Bringer Light. Kotetsu had been planning on attacking them one by one. Jin hadn't realized it until he was blinded just now. Then, another thought came to him. He could also see that his clones were blinded. He couldn't see anything when he tried to see through their eyes. The bad thing about it was that they were aiming attacks at Kotetsu who had just vanished. That meant Jin was left in the way of the attack. Eff! He felt the lightning hit him and the blade pierce his stomach. The heat moved through him, heating him up while also cauterizing the wound. The lightning made it worse. It burned him so badly that he could no longer even move. With the blood loss from both arms being cut off, he wouldn't be moving anytime soon anyway. Jin had messed up, and he was paying the price for it.
"AHHHHHH!" he screamed out as the attacks hit. He hadn't been ready for them. He hadn't been expecting them until it was too late. He fell to his knees as the pain ran throughout his body. He felt like dying in that moment. He had lost both arms and had hit himself with his own attacks. He had miscalculated, and it had cost him. Jin just stared at the ground while his clone pulled the blade out, staring in shock just as the other one had at what had just happened. He breathed heavy, and even the slightest twitch brought pain. What was he supposed to do now? He heard Kotetsu's words, but Jin felt a little hopeless right now. He didn't want to let Death-Sama down though. He had been counting on him to take out this guy. If Jin did so, it would be a huge blow to King Sh-no Sasori's army's strength. Jin knew that he couldn't give up, but right now, he wasn't in the shape to be making any moves. He could still hear Kotetsu speaking and then the next thing he knew, he could no longer see what his clones were seeing. They were gone.
Without his clones, he wouldn't be able to regain his arms. Had he been killed, he could have transferred himself to one of the clones and restored his body, but they were gone now along with any hopes of restoring his body for this battle. That meant he'd now have to figure out a way to fight Kotetsu with his body in this shape. He had wasted alot of reiatsu with that last attack that had failed. He couldn't make another mistake like that. He had only survived this mistake because of reasons beyond the fourth wall. He could have died with that last attack, but he hadn't. That meant he still had a chance to stay in this to defeat this guy. First, he needed to stop the blood flow and get his reiatsu back. He began by focusing heat to the elbow stumps so that those wounds cauterized. Then after that, he stood up and began focusing his reiatsu, building it. He was decreasing his reiatsu strength to increase his spiritual pressure and give himself more reiatsu. He couldn't decrease it too low though because he needed to keep the strength of his own reiatsu above that of Kotetsu's. While he charged, he hoped that Kotetsu didn't attack him. He was defenseless now. He didn't want to make an attack with his doll and draw an attack to himself while he charged, so he was just going to do nothing except reflect on the enemy before him and come up with his next plan of attack. If Kotetsu waited, Andrea would also have time to think.
