A breeze sweltered down in the small oval meadow as Akeru landed on the branch higher then the one he meant to leap on to, he hated being so slight sometimes. Sure, it was attractive to look the way he did but he didn't have any anchorage. He sighed, his training training was going horribly. Sneaking off into the real world just to get away from the prying eyes of his fellow squad mates, most of them had no idea what his zanpakutou did. They only knew of his expertise in Kidou. Maybe one day he'd just join the kidou corps, there was a thought.
He started to use baion again, tightening the grip on his vocal cords then relaxing them. Baion took immense practice to maintain, it was his ace in both sealed and shikai fighting. as he did so he sat down on the branch his zanpakutou in his lap, the blade end going towards his right hand. it wasn't that hard to sit up on the branch with his zanpakutou, balance was key.
"Ah yes, Balance. You have yet to learn this, shall we study it closer? or perhaps you would like to wear yourself out with more of your pointless exercises? you should be practicing more on your specialized kidou the just always on baion, what if you mean an opponent that you don't have time to use baion to say your incantations? hmm? you would be finished, using your high rate spell weave which you are horrible at would surely be of better use."
Akeru sighed, Raziel was always trying to feed him information about how he was not doing what he needed to be doing. Sure his high-rate spell weave was incredible but it drained Akeru more then anything else. Even if it was always active, he was too lenient with it. casting to many kidou could kill him, and Raziel knew it. He was just to arrogant to admit it.
"That child.."He whispered slowly, "is also the difference between you and I, I wouldn't be so care free about the use of my energy as you are. Expending them in the most efficient way possible in the littlest amount of time. You seem to forget who your talking to."
He was about to make a snappy retort when he felt it, it felt cold. Like death, a cold living death. The reiastu that he sensed only came from one kind of thing, "Arrancar..." He slid of the branch landing on the ground and began to run in the direction of the force, it was definitely stronger then him. Duty however, demanded he either try to slay it himself, or try to hold if off before the seireitei got word of his presence here. He tensed his muscles and shunpoed, leaving the meadow behind and following the spiritual pressure.
