My view on manga/anime is, the deeper the manga and/or anime is in terms of character development, psycology, tactics, etc., the better the anime/manga. Fight scenes are definatly a factor, but often what makes specifically Bleach combat scenes shine is the character development, helping the viewer see the perspective of the enemy, and letting us know that their determination was not just written out in the script, it was something that they themselves would do. Making the characters alive is a great way to watch anime/read manga, and really gets the readers connected to the characters.
10. One Piece (Before it dragged on like mollases in the freezer, this show/manga was good. Seriously and fantastically good. I don't blame the manga for slowing down in both pace and excitement, but I do think it brings it down to 10 when it could've been in the top 5.)
9. Blood+ (Had some seriously good moments, but sometimes I felt like it dragged out...it is short, which is a bonus, because short animes/manga keep you sucked in and enjoying the series instead of ruining it with dragging out the plot past any ideas that you may have)
8. Cowboy Bepop (Pure epic...just watch, you'll know what I mean. Spike is definatly up there in terms of anime characters)
7. Naruto Shippuuden (The fight scenes, while not as epic as Bleach, can be great. And although Sasuke is a whiny emo...it is redeemed by the pace at which the characters evolve both in combat and in person.)
6. Death Note (A great show with a lot of tactics, psycology, and pretty much everything that gives the anime show a great deal of depth and understanding. No matter what you believe before hand, you will come out going, "Is killing criminals really wrong?")
5. Claymore (The fantastic child of Bleach and D-Gray Man in terms of plot and fights, and has some good plot...and like most good anime, it ended nice and quickly so we all were in the stage of enjoying it, unlike such shows as One Piece...and One Piece...)
4. Fairy Tail (Great plot and characters, however, the whole main character being weaker than the others just doesn't do it for me, and although it has some bright moments, is not as epic as the others.)
3. Bleach (Can pull out some seriously good fighting scenes...but then again, you all know that)
2. D-Gray Man (Great story line, there is also dabs of psycology and adding in all of the epic characters and the fact that I'm a sucker for ...well I won't spoil the plot for yeh! ;D)
1. Code Geass (Fantastic Plot, Fantastic Ending, made you think and got really into the psycology which is great for any anime/manga. Gets really in depth, and no one can't love at least some of the characters.)
And don't forget, PEOPLE DIE WHEN THEY ARE KILLED!~
