The Escudo needed to die..NOW. Honestly, Asuka was annoyed. Why can't they just accept that Sonken Kouhai was a damn good shinigami leader and leave it at that?! But nooo...They hate him so now they have to send their freakshow here to attack. Wonderful. Just wonderful
She had gotten word that the low tiered Escudo were coming and that only sent shivers up her spine. That meant that she'd be seeing Asa and Makoto. Quite frankly, she wasn't sure who was worse of two. One tried to rape her and the other randomly went apeshit! Now, she had to defend Las Noches.
Translation: Survive.
The teal haired arrancar knew quite well that she was no match for the Escudo but perhaps she was able to fight off against their subordinates. She remembered meeting one of them in Rome. She highly doubted they were anything like that. He was way too nice! They were probably blood thirst freaks that wanted to strip her and rape her as usual. Her zanpakuto was already drawn, each whip in each hand. Now she just waited for one of them to make some sort of flashy appearance and go crazy. Same shit, different day. Yeah, she was looking forward to this. Really...
He was suddenly there, in a flash. A blade was in his grasp, and he was in mid motion, his body already prepped, his blade moving towards Asuka's face. That hadn't been Sonido, it was regular speed. The guy that was attacking her had muscles, a white tank top, white pants, black boots, and gray hair in a bowl cut. He appeared to be in his late twenties, and his eyes were black. He had a serious expression to him, and it was clear that he knew what he was doing. Oh crap, he was good to have been able to begin an attack in this fashion. Asuka had to block.
Meanwhile, Kuroi was already in motion as well, his wakizashi blades in a duel with Osore Escudo. Their blades kept clashing back and forth, since they were in some kind of death struggle. Osore wasn't allowed to use 5/5 on Kuroi, since Kuroi was Shiroi's target. This meant that it was a fairly even match, with Kuroi possibly even in the advantage, possibly even stronger than Osore. That was good. From the start, 1/5, the base strength of the Escudo had been a little bit stronger than the Espada. The 5/5 Policy had just made it worse.
But, luckily, Kuroi's base strength had been superior to Osore's from the beginning. Then again, Kuroi wasn't Cuarta. He was Segunda. And Shiroi's base strength was superior to Kuroi's. All of the Escudo had a base strength superior to their counterparts. It was already known. But, that didn't mean that going down without a fight was possible. The Espada would hold their own just fine. The results of the Low Tier Espada/Escudo fights were still unknown anyway. There was hope and morale for both sides.
Well, this was certainly different. She brought both blades up in an attempt to block her opponents incoming blade. This guy....he was good. Not one to be taken lightly. He was fast too. Asuka would try to throw him off. Some strange force from above granted her a normal, serious opponent. She was happy. Normal was good. Very good. Alas, she'd to have to kill him. Oh well, life goes on. If she attacked, there's no doubt that he'd dodge and there's no doubt that she'd leave herself open for attack. She figured she should gauge him a little more before attacking.
When their blades clashed, he drew back his blade, and slashed again, multiple times down onto her guard, either trying to break it, or wear her down slightly. After this, he retracted his blade, and kicked Asuka away by slamming his foot into her stomach. It was unexpected, and deadly. Oh, very good. He was skilled. Very very skilled. "Yokel Smallo." He said in a high pitched voice. Okay, despite the cool and normal appearance, he wasn't normal. He sounded like a mouse.
He looked strong. He looked fearsome. He looked serious.
So what the hell is up with that voice of his? In all honesty, Asuka wanted to laugh. The voice and the overall image of the man in front of her just didn't match! Not one bit! But out of respect, she wouldn't. At least he wasn't a TOTAL freak and that was enough to satisfy her. He'd slash and Asuka had a feeling that at some point very soon, he'd stop and go about another attack. The second he retracted his blade and saw his foot coming, she'd jump to the side in an attempt to avoid his foot. With whips in each hand, she'd lasso them around his ankle and jerk him in front of her while standing just a small distance away and shoot off a bala at his chest. She didn't want to be too close, just in case he'd slash her again.
Yokel was dragged by the whips, losing balance and hitting the ground. As he continued to be dragged, he slammed his blade into the Bala, since he had no better options. He managed to cut through the Bala, but the whip was still around his leg. So, Yokel grabbed the whip, and yanked it, yanking Asuka forwards instead of her yanking on him. This way, Asuka was heading towards him, instead of him heading towards her. It was a pretty even fight, actually. Yokel slashed at Asuka as she came. He was determined to make her take the hit.
Asuka was pretty determined herself. There was no way she was going to allow him to land a hit on her! After all, it could be deadly. Or maybe she was over thinking...
Whatever. She just wanted to make it out in one piece. He might have yanked the chord, but she still had room to move her blades. Asuka would block his slash with one of her blades and proceed to stab him in the stomach with the other. She knew she had room for this mainly because he dragged her closer to him!
Yokel saw the blade coming, and tried to move his body. Asuka's blade dug in against his hip, stabbing that. He gasped, but in retaliation, grabbed her wrist to hold her there, and slammed his elbow into her nose to shatter it. This would result in blood for blood, a splatter out of his hip, and a splatter out of her nose. Yokel quickly got himself off of the blade, disengaging after his elbow attack to Asuka's nose. The damage to both of them was probably enough that it could be considered even. At a dead equal pacing, they were both at moderate strength, average level. Yokel was probably a little bit tougher than Asuka thought, but they were still around equal.
At least she managed she managed to stab him. She'd take a broken nose over that any day! She stepped back a bit while holding her nose. Asuka would dash forwards. She'd lash the whip in her right had forward and then crack it as means to make him flinch moment while she used the whip in her left hand to lasso around his ankle. She'd yank back and attempt to thrash him in a tree nearby. If he hit the tree, he'd be stunned momentarily. This would give her a chance to use bala. She'd aim at his neck, finishing him.
Of course, if she couldn't thrash him around like she wanted to, she'd just yank him close and hold the hilts in reverse. She could deal a barrage of slashes with one blade and aim for his heart with the second. Either would be great.
Yokel twisted aside as he was yanked by the whip, slamming into the tree, but rolling across the ground so that the Bala missed. From there, he brought up his blade so that he could block all of Asuka's incoming slashes. From there, Yokel began slashing at Asuka despite being on the ground with a whip in lasso around his ankle. He was actually close to being done, even though Asuka had forgotten to dock her reiatsu for using Bala. What would happen next?
Yokel was on the ground, but he was still slashing at her! She'd block the slashes with her own blades and slammed her foot down on the wound she inflicted on him earlier which was on his hip. This would probably make him flinch for a bit. If he did flinch, Asuka would take the opportunity to throw him into the air with her whips. She wouldn't throw him very high. Just high enough for her to run up a tree, jump above him, and decapitate his head just before he landed.
Yokel's body hit the floor, but clearly not fast enough. As blood splattered out, Asuka was already under attack by another enemy. This one, however, appeared to be stronger. "Oh my my...such passion went into that blow!" Asa Escudo exclaimed, rushing at Asuka and slashing lazily. It was lazy enough that Asuka would be able to just barely keep up. Oh, crap. Why was Asa here? Wasn't she a Low Tier Escudo? Why was it that she wasn't dead? Better yet, she looked unharmed. Then again, she was #11. The Espada didn't go to 11. She hadn't had a counterpart to fight. So then, what was her purpose, anyway? She grabbed Asuka's chest in mid battle. "Ohmy my! I think they grew!"
So Yokel was done...but that voice. That loathsome voice. Asuka swerved around and much to her surprise, it was a certain creepy woman.
"AHHHHHH!!! IT'S TIT-ZILLAAAA!!"[/i] She wanted to scream but she'd forgo the insult... She was in a good mood. Asuka began blocking Asa's slashes. She could barely keep up! And then she'd stop to grab her girls. "You could tell even though I'm wearing a suit?" she asked as she looked at her chest and back at Asa with clear confusion on her face.[/size]
Asa smiled happily. She suddenly yanked, ripping off Asuka's shirt to reveal her bare, naked torso. "Of course! Oh my my...they're so lovely. I'm envious! Your boyfriend must have such fun with you!" That was a comment that would probably make Asuka blush slightly. But, something was off about Asa. Her manner was more cautious, more guarded. She wasn't the same carefree as usual, and she hadn't tripped yet. Was she cautious because this was a full scale invasion, or was it something else? Meanwhile, Kuroi and his opponent kept on their blade duel. Kuroi appeared intent on winning.
