Arc 2: Canon 10: Bukkokkuseki [Complete]

Plotline: [Just as a few weeks ago, Kodaiyiseki, the first Blade of Abhorrence, the Blade of Heaven, was found, now a new one has also been discovered. Bukkokkuseki, The Blade of Hell. This blade is devious, and strong. It must be obtained at all costs. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, at the very bottom, sits the ruins of Atlantis, a once prosperous, very advanced civilization. The sword is located down there. An aura of "bubble-like reiatsu" will be provided around your bodies. This will allow you to breathe, and survive the pressure. Beware, the city, being at the bottom of the ocean, may be home to some strong underwater dwellers. You have 40 minutes of oxygen, and 35 minutes before the pressure breaks your defense, and kills you. Get the blade, and get back up to the surface. Ascend slowly, or you will get The Bends.] - Explain the plot of your adventure.

[Zieg Revolver]

Zieg rubbed the back of his neck, yawning gradually as he strapped his zanpakuto to his hip. He currently was wearing his custom vice captain uniform and revolver holster belt. He had just recovered from his last encounter from one of the blades and now he was going after the hell blade. Zieg couldn't comprehend on how powerful it must be, for he had only seen parts of the heaven blade's power. This was mainly do to him having blacked out during Zanken's fight to master the blade and also had only seen the blade be actually used for one technique with Zanken had clashed with the vizard Sayu. Her laughter still haunted him, something just did not feel right on why she had laughed when him and Zanken escaped with the blade. Zieg had tried to think of numerous, logical reasons for it, such as perhaps she was glad Zanken had beaten her, maybe she laughed out of disbelief or maybe even laughed because she was a chaotic bitch. Zieg could not know but this didn't matter to him now, his goal was to retrieve the blade of hell and he wanted this blade badly, seeing as he failed to gain the right to master the blade of heaven.

Moments later, Zieg was right besides Hara, in a reiatsu bubble like he was. Zieg looked at him briefly, though he did not speak anything. He presumed that Hara himself was focused on the mission but Zieg knew at least partily what could occur when they finally come face to face with the blade. However, he dismissed anymore thought of it as he saw Hara drive. "All or nothing." Zieg murmered to himself, diving down and swimming into the depths, catching up with Hara shortly and he looked from side to side, examining the area. Zieg had never really been on such a mission before, in fact he hadn't been on any that involved deep sea diving. Zieg could only presume as the him and Hara dived that a sea like this was no doubt filled with aquatic creatures. However, to what extent to what these creatures could be and how much of a threat that they would be to him and Hara remained to be seen.

No doubt, Zieg and Hara were both starting to get VERY pained ears. While yes, they had some sort of protection, it didn't help. Their ears were still screaming in agony. This was because at the very bottom of the ocean, the pressure was thousands of times greater than the air pressure of the atmosphere at ground level. That wasn't good for their health. They'd have to do this fast, though doing so wouldn't be easy, since concentrating would be difficult as a result of attempting to do this with pained ears. In the meantime, the lost city was actually within view. Well, sort of view. It was shimmering here and there. It was so dark, that Zieg and Hara couldn't see it too well, but they could get to it with a bit more swimming. Here was the problem. The water was also very, very cold. They had so many factors against them, that they'd be unable to do very well in this mission. They'd have to get lucky.

As the city came into full view, and they actually got there, it became apparent that it looked like Ancient Athens, though in ruins. On top of that, the sword was already in view. Oddly enough, surrounding it was a ton of ice and frost, existing underwater. The ice was black, and the sword itself was...colorless. It was a transparent katana, with black gems studding it, and black ice surrounding it. It gave off an evil, and icy feeling. Chilling laughter echoed in the minds of Zieg and Hara as they approached, and thousands of demonic voices spoke in their minds. Thousands, enough to drive them insane. The voices were extremely faint, so they could be blocked out. But, Zieg and Hara could lose some of their focus from trying to block these out. If they didn't block them out though, they'd go insane almost immediately.

OOC: Realizing that Canon 9 is only one or two pages in, as is Canon 8, I've decided that this Canon can continue and catch up due to there being only two participants. Due to slow posting, Hara has been removed. One spot open. This canon will close if it is not claimed within the next 8 hours.

[Bokuga Sayuri]

Hara had been called back a few minutes into the swim, leaving a much stronger Captain to take his place. Bokuga Sayuri, the Squad 12 Captain, had actually been cooped up in his lab, working on new drugs and toxins after his ordeals in fights. He'd lost to Okusa Shogen, but he'd won against Shiro Takashi, Hara Lucious, Hiro Kaname, and Jin Yamada. Four relatively strong opponents, even if three of those had been a waste of his time in generality. Sayuri was here now. He'd heard all about the Blades of Abhorrence, and had plans to absolutely collect at least one.

Now, Sayuri didn't really feel like he had plans to USE one. The fabled drawbacks were too heavy for his liking. He would rather just take apart and dissect one of the blades to see what made it tick, and how one could replicate it with less drawbacks, and less independence from those treacherous spirits within. He had come with Zieg Revolver, who had tried to get the Blade of Heaven before, but had been thwarted by Zanken Gairan, who got it instead. Sayuri was here, dooming any hopes of Zieg getting a Blade of Abhorrence.

In all honesty, there was no possible way that Zieg could beat Sayuri. And, they had to face it. If all of the blades were the same, people would be fighting each other to get them. But it was impossible to complete this mission without more than one person, and so fighting was inevitable, and couldn't be avoided. That was why Sayuri was here. Hopefully, Zieg would know to back down instead of attacking. Otherwise, Sayuri could have to carve him up, and he really didn't want to do that to Saix Shinra's Vice Captain.

Arriving in Atlantis, at the blade, Sayuri walked up. He wanted to touch the sword. He didn't touch it yet, for fear that something might happen. But, for the moment he did nothing to the blade, and simply looked at it. He was fast enough that Zieg had fallen a tiny pace behind. Sayuri looked behind him, waiting for the Vice Captain to catch up. It would only take a few seconds. What would happen, now?

The sword suddenly transfigured, revealing a pitch black throne covered in ice. Sitting on it lazily, with his legs crossed at the feet, one elbow resting on one of the throne's arms, the other danging loosely, holding a blade, was a man. He had red hair, short in a bowl cut, and glowing black eyes. He had some kind of an ice crown on his head, and his skin was pale as death itself. Frost was visible all around him, water freezing up amid the ice. He looked at Sayuri and Zieg as they arrived, his gaze unwavering, without even a single blink. His eyes looked empty, and his face looked emotionless. He stared at them. It was a large moment of awkward silence. No, not awkward. Intimidating. This guy was intimidating. Just how strong was he, though? He was supposed to be stronger than Kodaiyiseki had been. Even if it was just a little bit, he was at least 10% stronger. 10% could be a lot if one thought about it.

"So you've finally come, huh...?" he asked in a mellow tone, his eyes still not blinking. He slammed his blade down into the floor, and pulled out what appeared to be green chocolate. He took a bite at it, and a snapping sound occurred. He appeared to be able to speak audibly and with no difficulty underwater. Not even a little echoing sound, or a gargling noise. The chocolate vanished, and he rested his hand on the arm of his throne. "You Shinigami finally plan to take me and my power..." A grin broke out on his face, and a cocky laugh. "Shishishishishi..." This guy...there was something about him. He wasn't as dramatic as Kodaiyiseki, nor was he as flashy. But...he was scary. That deathly aura that he gave off was enough to freeze anyone in his gaze. "Which of you was planning to claim me?" he asked in a bored voice, his grin fading. "Which of you....wanted to take me...?" His eyes reflected both Sayuri and Zieg, though in a creepy way.

[Zieg Revolver]

Zieg reached the blade and landed, standing on the turned and watched as Hara left, seemingly recalled back for an odd reason. His eyes widened in surprise and horror as he saw who was taking his place. "Damn it... not him..." Zieg cursed in his mind, seeing that Captain Sayuri had taken the place of Hara. Zieg previously was confident he could beat Hara, since the two shinigami were generally on the same level as eachother. However, now Sayuri had shown up and taken Hara's place. Zieg didn't even try to deny the fact that Sayuri was on a way higher level then Zieg currently was. Zieg had heard the stories and rumors of what he personally preferred to call "Madman" Sayuri. This was only due to the devastating power of his zanpakuto, it was purely cutting power. He realized he was standing completely during this entire thought process of how powerful Sayuri was. He finally summoned the willpower to advanced forward but stopped, seeing the blade had taken its spirit form and was baring down on them.

He only glanced at the spirit briefly for one reason. He just wanted a quick look at what he might of obtained if Sayuri had not shown up. It was completley true, Zieg could not beat Sayuri at his current level. Sayuri just had too much of an advantage on him, Zieg knew this. "Guess theres no avoiding it." Zieg sighed lowly, unsheathing his blade after he heard the spirit. He looked Sayuri in his eyes, his half closed but he had an odd look. He knew there was only one option now, and the look was one of acceptance. "Captain Sayuri, I apologize. I apologize that I cannot be a worthy opponent right now. Perhaps the future will give me another chance." Zieg stated lowly, suddenly kicking off the ground and gliding straight at Sayuri. He quickly brought his blade up to his right side with one hand and slashed down onto Sayuri's left shoulder. However, it would do nothing, Zieg knew this.

Right as his blade made contact, the cut-back effect took place. Zieg's entire right arm received one long slash racing from the top of his knuckles to his shoulder. Blood splattered from the wound but Zieg did not drop his zanpakuto, his grip having tightened instinctively. He dropped to his knees next to Sayuri and his arms came to his side, panting lowly as he stared at the ground. He had, on purpose. attacked Sayuri for the cut-back effect to occur so Sayuri would instantly be shown how powerful he currently was. "All or nothing, Captain Sayuri..." Zieg wheezed as his last words then fell forward onto the floor, passing out. The sudden lose of blood had finally taken him out of fighting and declared Sayuri as the winner. Now, it was all up to him to fight and defeat the blade.

Reiatsu: 1650/1650

Bukkokkuseki laughed as Zieg incapacitated himself. But, he was clearly impressed by Sayuri, since it appeared that the Vice Captain couldn't even cut him, and all that had happened was a retaliation of blood. He was of course, under the impression it appeared that Sayuri was strong. But, would it be enough? Bukkokkuseki laughed again, but then grew serious, that empty air returning. "Attack me." he said to Sayuri. "Attack me and see what happens." Of course, that was all he'd say. He wanted to be given a wielder. That was all. Just a wielder.

[Bokuga Sayuri]

Sayuri was looking at the blade cautiously. Reports said that Kodaiyiseki had been a blade located in a hot place, and had used white flames, and other hot abilities. Bukkokkuseki was located in water, and in a cold place, with frost and ice. So, he probably used cold powers, especially those dealing with water and ice. He might even use an ability dealing with pressure, since there was so much water pressure. There was just about no time, so Sayuri was going to fire that he should finish things off quickly. There was absolutely no use in trying to do them slowly. After all, slow was bad.

He exhaled once. These shields that let them breathe and withstand pressure were convenient, but that ear pain was an annoyance. Sayuri would, of course, take out Bukkokkuseki in a single instant. One attack. That was all Sayuri needed to get that blade. One chance to attack. And Bukkokkuseki was giving that to him. Giving him a chance that would let him hurl an attack so strong, that not even the spirit of a Blade of Abhorrence would possibly be able to defeat the attack, or survive it. That blade was as good as his.

He pulled out two capsules, C-Weapons. "C-Fusion. CRAZY SCIENCE!" Sayuri's weapons joined together, and four more of him suddenly materialized. He felt it already. It was fatiguing. While the clones all had their own reiatsu set, and their own power set, they all shared the same stamina among five of them. Breathing was already more difficult. They wouldn't be able to fight very long. Had to end this in one attack. The five Sayuris were surrounding Bukkokkuseki, though several meters away. They all drew their blades. The original aimed his palm at Bukkokkuseki, as did all the clones. "The Crest of Turbidity seeping out, An insolent vessel of madness, Boiling up, denying blinking, obstructing slumber, the princess who creeps, the mud doll; ever disintegrating, unite, oppose! Filling the Earth, know your own impotence!"

"Hado #90: Kurohitsugi!" A huge blast of black boxes, a giant torrent of black reiatsu that ripped through space itself seemingly, closed in on Bukkokkuseki. Five. From all around, all directions. "BANKAI! KUROI BAIKO!" All five Sayuris yelled in unison. Their Bankai roared out, tearing through. The chains vanished as the eyes closed however, all five clapping while Kurohitsugi beat up Bukkokkuseki. "FINAL SOULBUSTER!" Sayuri 1, 2, 3, and 4 and 5 yelled. They gained enormous buster swords the size of two obelisks, covered in pink reiatsu. Each one roared, moving towards Bukkokkuseki, and slashing him all at once even as Kurohitsugi was crashing down on him. There was no possible way that he'd survive this. The original stayed put with his attack, ready to use it if Bukkokkuseki survived.

Bukkokkuseki gasped, shattering instantly as the blade flew into Sayuri's grasp. A voice boomed in his head. Disappointing... it said. I was hoping for a fight. But, you're strong. I'll acknowledge that. Alright, I'm yours. For the moment. The voice faded, and the sword stopped glowing. It was Sayuri's now. On cue, a Senkaimon opened up above his head. It sucked in Sayuri and Zieg, pushing them up and through it. Pressure got lower and lower as this happened. Ah, that's right. They had to slowly go through it with less and less pressure so that they didn't get The Bends. Eventually, they were ejected back out, just as their shields faded, right up into the Seireitei. Good. That was convenient. This meant that the blade had been procured. This one led to the Squad 1 barracks, which could not be invaded by Vizards. With a report to Kyousou Ningen, the mission was over. The blade had been obtained. On the blade, were Japanese Kanji that spelled a single message. "あなたが強いなら死はわずかな後退です" Death is only a minor setback to the strong.

"Shinwa no honoo no yona harumagedon o motarasu, Bukkokkuseki." (Roughly 'Bring about the flaming Armageddon of myth, Bukkokkuseki.' Translation is rough. May be slightly inaccurate.)

There is no overall ability to this Shikai release. There is only a set of two techniques. The release form takes on the shape of a simple sword, made completely from an ice that does not melt, and feels warm to the touch of the user.

Technique 1 - Gat

This is a viciously powerful techniques, which casts a haze of black smoke from the blade. Anyone consumed by the smoke will lose their vision completely, and this will last for an untold amount of time. Possibly forever. Though yes, healing can be done at say, the Universal Hospital Center, or with a Healer, it's possible that if this happens and there is no treatment, the blindness will be forever.

Technique 2 - Lat

This generates a powerful wave of blue reiatsu from the blade. Anyone that's hit will suffer from the effect. They will instantly be crushed down upon by the same pressure as being at the very bottom of the sea, which will cause an implosion of an enemy's body, instantly.


Bankai

Futatabi sekai pandora no hako no aku o ririsu (Roughly translated, Release the evils of pandora's box onto the world once more.) Bukkokkuseki Sugoi.

The weapon disappears completely. It appears to be missing. In truth, it is because there is no overall ability, only the techniques that can now be cast at will.


Technique 1 - Absolute power

This generates a fist of ice over the user's fist. Whoever is punched by the ice will freeze, and shatter, as will their animus and soul, deleting their existence forever, and slightly bending the fabric of space. This will also create a gigantic frost for a whole quarter mile in front of the user, freezing anyone else within range. It won't do the same as it did to the first victim, but it will still freeze.


Technique 2 - Minor Weakness

This freezes the user. The user can unfreeze at will. This ice is indestructible, and appears instantaneously, a perfect defense. Staying in here for too long is a bad idea, since it will gradually freeze and destroy the user as well.


Technique 3 - Armageddon

This is the second strongest technique that Bukkokkuseki can use. In a single instant, a giant avalanche of frost that instantly freezes and shatters everything it touches will explode out, consuming everything within a mile radius of the user. This can be used only once in the released state, before the user is knocked out.

Technique 4 - Final

This is the strongest technique, which will kill the user of the blade. This power is of the opposite of ice, fire. A huge, black fire will rise from the ground, reducing to instant ash anything within ten miles of the user, obliterating it all.
