(Had something so much better before )
Here it was, just like Kouhai said. A portal was siting before Cero, to an unknown enemy for her. She was the first one here, and was now guarding it, in case something emerged. To think, Kouhai was willing to stop their current mission of the destruction of Seiritei to fight a new enemy. Was he that worried by this group. "Ototo....Ogato...Ogatao that's it." Was he really that worried by the Ogatago to stop...hell, to help the Shinigami that he despised? She learned what she could from the encounters that were recollected from two major encounters. The first time involved Koroi, Faust and another Arrancar. The battle didn't go fantastically. Then the most recent. Koroi didn't even bother to fight them this time. Instead, the third Espada fought, and the forth and Kaust again. The battle ended with the death of the Ogatago but he took his own life.
Were the Ogatago that powerful? Should Cero be concerned when running into one of these bastards? Cero always thought that the 3rd and 2nd Espada were very close in power to her. But for them both to have been defeated in a way, and hell, Toroi decided to not even partake in a second battle against them. Personally, Cero thought that they should have just left the shinigami and let them have been overrun by the Ogatago in the last battle. Kouhai must have been quite concerned to actually ally with them. Troublesome to say the least....But from understanding, both times the Espada never released their Segunda forms..if they both had them. But they did release the Primera forms. A dreadful thought to say the least....

Kuroi stepped through the portal next, his eyes gazing around. The area was an entire forest, huge, green. Everything was dark, menacing. Everything was evil. The aura that came off of each tree individually, mixed together. One large, evil aura. The scent of blood was everywhere. This was a place filled with death, with pain, with misery and suffering and darkness. This forest was a place where hope was extinguished. Nothing good could ever exist in this forest. Kuroi, for the first time since becoming an Espada, felt real dread. He felt the emotion of fear. He did not shiver visibly, he did not reveal his fear physically. But, he knew that it was there none the less. This bottomless feeling, this stone sinking into his heart, could only be fear. Kuroi noticed that he was wearing the traditional white of the Espada, a long, pointy collared white leather coat, the tails reaching the joints of his legs. He wore matching white pants, his coat was unzipped to reveal a black t-shirt. Kuroi didn't like it. He couldn't camouflage. He was exposed.
He was an easy target, he could be picked out very easily. Unacceptable. Kuroi didn't want any disadvantages. He remembered the last time he'd faced an Ogatago. It had been hellish agony to not fight with full strength. He hadn't been forced to release, but his blood lust phase had come. The enemy, Nilus, had been incredibly powerful. Kuroi knew he was stronger, and he'd wanted to slaughter that enemy. But during the blood lust phase, Kuroi lost all forms of control over who he might attack. He'd had to nail himself to the wall of Las Noches and allow Nilus to escape, or he would have destroyed dozens and dozens of Arrancar, severely set back Kouhai. Kuroi had no such restrictions here. Anything in this forest could be destroyed. And, Cero was the Primera Espada. She would survive fine. That was when the realization that he was not alone dawned on Kuroi. As soon as he'd realized Cero was here, he began other thought trails. Were other Espada here?
Just how many were here? If it was only the two of them, would it be easier or more difficult to fight? Kuroi asked himself these questions mentally, and couldn't provide many answers. He at last decided that it would be easier with more strong Espada. And, Kuroi decided that his clothing was too conspicuous. Shifting his sash and sheathe so that his zanpakutou was sheathed on his back, and the sash was draped diagonally from his shoulder to his waist, Kuroi proceeded to remove his coat and shirt, shrugging them both off and leaving them there. His bare torso was easier to keep in this forest. Kuroi's instinct told him that there was nothing to be worried about in terms of plants or poison. This place was a hunting reserve, a gaming area where Erakos could hunt prey at his leisure. That much was already clear. "Clothing will be a hindrance." Kuroi said simply to Cero. It wasn't an explanation for why he'd dropped his coat and shirt that he was giving, but it was advice.
Kuroi began walking through the forest, expecting Cero to follow him shortly. He was on constant alert, on constant guard. He was tense, and always ready to receive an attack from an enemy. If an enemy came, Kuroi was going to deal with them. He was going to slaughter them. Kuroi could already feel several presences all about, watching him. Doing more than watching him, actually waiting for the right time to strike, breathing in his scent as they determined whether or not he was good prey. Kuroi was ready to show them, that he was not the prey they wanted to find. Attacking Kuroi, a big mistake. That much, that much was going to be seen very soon.

"A hindrance. Perhaps."
Faust appeared beside Kuroi, looking extremely cautious. He was not wearing his armor this time, and looked somewhat different. His helmet was gone, replaced by a black bandage that covers his face, except for his fox mask around his snout. It stretched all the way to his neck. His body was also covered in black bandages, with a fitted ninja-vest on top. It had a grill-like design around the middle-torso area. Around the lower body, Faust wore a fitted black pants that extends to his shins, and was secured to his waist by a black obi. His foot wore a shinobi tabi, and his four swords are in their proper places. His tail was also wrapped in a black bandage from base to tip. It seemed Faust has prepared for their little trek, and determined that wearing armor would actually hamper him a lot.
He glanced back at Cero, and then back towards Kuroi. It was not time to antagonize either of them, at least for now. He didn't like working with teams, but against an Ogatago, it would be a folly not to. He'd have to suck it up, at least for the greater good. It meant he needed to be civil too, one thing he's never learned to do. They came here on a mission, and under Kouhai's orders, they were to kill the Ogtago.
Asuka's vibrant green eyes studied the strange portal."I'm not so sure I wanna step in here...." She began to contemplate on what she should do. She wanted to go to explore this strange forest. Anywhere new was of interest to her. Then again, there were the cons of stepping through the portal. Cons such as: getting ambushed, getting yelled at, ending up naked and many more 'wonderful' things. She wasn't too delighted at the thought of all that happening. However, the curious part of her began to take over. "So many what if's...Asuka, you'll never know unless you take a chance!..I'll probably get tortured if I don't go anyways.." It was growing on her. The fascination on knowing what's out there along with her curiosity was simply becoming too much for her to handle. She bit her lip. Her time was running short. It was now or never. "I'm probably going to regret not going in more than going..I guess.." With that thought in mind, she hopped in the portal.
Guess she's never head of the the saying "Curiosity killed the cat".
She hopped out of the portal and began to observe everything around her. It was a forest alright. One nice, beautiful, lovely, extremely dense, evil forest.
What?
This forest was evil. Asuka could feel it in her bones. The kind of forest no one would want to be caught dead in. Literally. She began to wonder if her attire was suited for walking around in this lovely place. Her knee length coat probably wasn't a very good idea. She wore a pair of black fitted pants along with a light gray tank top as well as a pair of black, flat, knee high boots. She wore black arm warmers the reached her elbows. They were embellished with a small titanium plate at the back of her hand. She noticed Kuroi, Cero and Faust not far from the portal. Cautiously, she walked up to them. Here, they'd have to work in teams. Asuka remained silent. She wasn't very happy with this idea but it was probably the best idea at the moment. She had hoped that she was ready for the mission; to destroy the Ogatago.

OOC: The Order will be Cero, Kuroi, Faust, Asuka, NPC, etc. for now.
The dark forest held a deadly atmosphere and it seemed it welcomed life to be stolen. The higher level spiritual beings would sense something like a barrier cover the forest like a dome. Any portals that were still open in the vicinity violenty closed shut and dispersed into the air. A strong reiatsu pressure could be felt in the forest, it was strong enough to crush a weaker Espada to their knees. Suddenly, a loud screech could be heard, but the sound it emitted was different. It did not sound like a screech of a normal animal. Then suddenly a huge winged creature swooped from the tall trees and its fangs pulled out of its mouth. The creature dived towards Kuroi, attempting to devour the Arrancar. The creature was an abnormally large vampire bat, and it was trying to eat Kuroi.
As the bat was diving towards Kuroi, a rather fast figure barely visible moved through the trees. Red eyes glowed from the forest, and it would seem there were creatures lurking the forests that had yet to show themselves. Before Faust could even sense the figure, it appeared above the ninja-like Arrancar. Out in the open, the figure could be seen holding a bone-like shield in his right hand. It had jagged, sharp ends around it with dried blood stained at random places around the shield. The figure had red eyes, it had three horns come out of his head. Two symmetrically on either sides of his head and one in the middle of them, yet a little closer to his forehead. He had his Hollow hole in the general area of his genitals. This figure's strength could now be sensed, and one that was an average sensor would be able to tell he was no normal Hollow.
This was a Vasto Lorde, and he was using his immense strength and speed to bring down his jagged edged shield on Faust. He would not see it coming, so it would take either the busy Kuroi or Cero to save him. Faust could also take a risk and try to block, but it could bring him close to death. This Vasto Lorde's white bone-like skin seemed to darken in the shade instead of reflecting the light. The red stains and the random tribal markings on his skin showed he was the stronger ones in the forest. His face showed the ferocity of a demon, as he looked more like a dinosaur or demon Hollow than an animal. He looked like a well-build, and cut Olympic sprinter.
Meanwhile, there was a weaker Arrancar being watched by a pair of eyes. He was hidden in the forests filled with different beings. It was quietly watching the newcomers of the forest. From beside Asuka a brown-shaded Hollow could be seen rushing at Asuka with slightly pulled back arm. It was about to throw its fist into Asuka's side. The brutal strength of the bear-like Hollow would blow back Asuka back towards her friends. This new Hollow stood still after delivering a blow to Asuka. He did not use all of his strength, but used only about half as he got ready to fought. This bear Vasto Lorde roared in excitement of battle, and his hole could be seen. It was right through the back of his throat and the forest could be seen from the hole. The bear Vasto Lorde took out a short bladed weapon, a dagger. It held a white, plastic color and it would seem very weak. The handle and blade was all one color and it was almost invisible in the large Hollow's hand. This Vasto Lorde stood tall at seven foot and large at couple hundred pounds.
On top of spotting a creature coming for him from above, Kuroi noticed a creature heading for Faust in a manner that prevented Faust from noticing. Kuroi didn't have the bet energy sensory, but any look at the beasts signified multiple vasto lorde. In that case, Kuroi didn't doubt their ability to pierce his hierro. Moving at the bet of his speed, easily outranking all of these creatures in that regard, Kuroi blasted off the ground, heading toward Faust as he drew his sword in one swift motion and slashed the bat beast. The speed made it unlikely for he beast to defend, and the slash as bound to cut it in half. Kuroi landed on Faust's head and jumps off of it. Kuroi wasn't light weight, so Faust was shoved aside and to the ground. However, this got him out of re way of the beast's attack. Kuroi twisted while moving, hacking into the beast that had attacked Faust. This would probably sever he beast in half, though it had more of a chance to defend than the last one did. As this finished, Kuroi landed and released the bulk of his spiritual pressure. This caused Asuka to be smashed onto the ground, evading the punch. What Lurpi did not anticipate, was that the bear was also crushed to the ground. He released his pressure I my a split second before sealing it gain. He didn't want to attract any attention. This should give Asuka a chance to get away and then attack.

Faust was about to turn his head when Kuroi suddenly stepped on his head, causing him to stumble onto a face-plant. It was uncalled for, or so he thinks. He was about to complain when he saw creatures bearing down upon the group. Instincts tell Faust that they were not some run-of-the-mill hollows. They were more powerful, which might explain how they got close enough without him realizing. There were a few of them here, and they weren't looking too friendly. It was about time he did his stuff too.
He squatted low enough, his instincts flaring up. He was very focused, mainly because the hollows have bypassed his instincts earlier. This time would be different. He was on full alert. Their group was being sieged by a few hollows, possibly of Vasto Lorde level, which explains the power of their attacks. He pulled out his nodachi, and gripped it with two-hands. He was waiting for something, but what? That was when he glanced over where Kuroi was going. He charged a Recorte Bala to the tip of his nodachi. He only have a small window to attack.
As Kuroi 'tagged' Asuka and the bear vasto lorde, Faust has unleashed his Recorte Bala, aimed to take out the bear's head. It would be impossible to dodge, especially not when Kuroi's spiritual pressure was pressing down on it. The pressure Kuroi did lasted for a bit, but it was enough. The Bala travelled fast enough and would've hit its mark long before the bear could move again. If the bala hits, it would certainly severe off the bear's head, clean off its neck, or at least take out half its head in the process. Either way, it'll sustain injuries grieve enough to keep it from continuing the fight. Faust's reiatsu strength outclassed the bear by a lot, after all.
After that, Faust redirected his attention to his surroundings. He still doesn't know the extent of the situation they were in. He readied himself, preparing for the worst thing that can happen. An ambush may come from anywhere, and so he prepared himself. The last thing they needed was any more surprise attacks.
Faust's Remaining Reiatsu: 1150/1500 (-300 for keeping Hierro deactivated in favor of HSR; -50 for using Recorte Bala)
