-Basic Information-
Name: Glimmer Diamond
Age: 21
Birthday (Month/Day): June 15th
Blood Type: O Negative
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: 5'9"/140 lbs
Physical Description:
Glimmer takes on the appearance of an androgynous male with an athletic physique. He stands around the height of 5'9'' and weighs a modest 140 lbs. His skin is fair and his body well-maintained, giving him a clean and orderly appearance. His daily routine of moisturizing and skincare also helps. Dark black hair adorns his head, fashioned with two high ponytails. Below this lies dull purple eyes, giving him a perpetual tired look. Tattooed across his face is a black marking that stretches across the bridge of his nose.
When out and about, Glimmer wears the standard issued Vandenreich uniform which consists of a white buttoned overcoat with similarly colored pants below. White gloves cover his dark painted nails while boots cover the ones on his feet. He wears his Quincy cross around his neck, snug and secured against his chest. His spirit fragment takes on the form of earrings in the shape of a cross. He has a few pouches around his waist where he stores his medical supplies and other important items. Glimmer’s casual attire is usually a tightfitting shirt and some comfortable pants with the color depending on his mood.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Personality-
Dislikes:
- Shinigami: The Quincy are at constant war with the shinigami, thus it is only natural for him to dislike his enemy. Their ideals are just too different for there to be any compromise.
- Hollows: He dislikes hollows even more than shinigami because of what they are. Pitiful monstrous souls that need to be purged.
- Laziness: Everyone has a role, and it is their duty as Vandenreich soldiers to fulfill their duty as best as they can. He tends to not work well with people who don't try their best.
- Loud Noises: Glimmer likes the quiet, not so much the opposite. Loud noises tend to give him a headache, so he avoids those situations whenever he encounters them.
- Weakness: As a soldier of the Emperor, it is his duty to be as powerful as he can be. Only then can he serve to the best of his ability.
Likes:
- The Vandenreich: This place is his home, and he enjoys it here. It is here that he is surrounded by people of like mind and similar nature.
- Comrades: Having people by his side that he can trust goes a long way on the battlefield. And knowing that they were all fighting for the same goal even more so.
- Cats: Glimmer loves these cute little mischievous creatures. If he sees one, he will go out of his way to pet it. Truly a blessed animal.
- The Emperor: Like most soldiers, he was raised to always put the Emperor above everything else. His loyalty will forever be with the man he admires the most.
- Chaos: As a man who battles constant boredom, having something unexpected occur is always a pleasant surprise to him. Most of Glimmer’s decisions depend on what will bring him the most amusement.
Flaws:
- Devout: He serves the Emperor with all his heart. To him, such a man can do no wrong. Whatever he commands, Glimmer will follow. Such is his role.
- Chaotic: If it will cause him amusement, Glimmer doesn’t mind shaking the pot up a bit. After all, what’s the point of living a life without a little excitement?
- Inquisitive: Glimmer is a curious person, thus if he sees something interesting, the natural thing for him to do is investigate. Sometimes this works out for him, sometimes it doesn’t.
- Daydreamer: Glimmer often finds himself zoning out when nothing of importance is occurring. He gets bored easily, so his mind tends to wander.
Habits:
- Training: Glimmer prefers to keep his body in peak shape, which he helps with his daily exercise routine. A strong body will help further his goals.
- Exploration: Glimmer is a naturally curious man, and he will do much to sate his curiosity. Seeing different things and understanding why they are so is a pleasant learning experience for him.
- Tidiness: Glimmer prefers when everything is neat and clean around him. Therefore he takes the time to organize and straighten things whenever he has the time.
Fears:
- Disappointing His Comrades: Glimmer longs to be the best soldier he can be. Letting down those who have his trust would wound him deeply.
- A Worthless Death: Glimmer won’t hesitate to die for his beliefs. He just hopes that if such a day comes, his death will have meaning. And not be just another one of the countless casualties on the battlefield.
- Lack of Strength: How can Glimmer carry out the tasks of the Vandenreich if he doesn’t have the strength to back it up? Actions speak louder than words and if he ever has to speak, he hopes he has the power to back it up.
Goals:
- Becoming a Sternritter: Glimmer longs to have the strength and title of a Sternritter. At this rank, he can be proud of his power and everything that he accomplished.
- Have An Interesting Life: Glimmer wants to live a life of adventure. He only has one life, so he might as well use it to its fullest potential. So many sights to see, so little time.
- Mastering His Techniques: There is much for Glimmer to learn about Ginto and his techniques. He hopes to master everything in his arsenal one day.
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Overall Personality:
At his core, Glimmer is a loyal Vandenreich soldier who carries out his orders to the best of his ability. Efficiency is key for his tasks, and he strives to embody that ideal in everything he does. The work reflects the person, and he refuses to do less that he is capable of. His mood tends to be of the calmer sort so he often comes off as emotionless, usually to people who don’t really know him. To those that do know him, Glimmer doesn’t mind showing off his more caring side. While rare to see, such a thing still exists for those he cares about. To other Quincy in the Vandenreich, he is calm and lenient. Always wanting the best for his fellow soldiers. However if he encounters someone he doesn’t like, Glimmer won’t hesitate to undermine them in order to further his own goals.
Glimmer is perpetually curious, and longs to understand the things he can’t comprehend. For the knowledge he seeks, he tends to not let morals get in the way. As long as the Vandenreich isn’t harmed, he is down to do anything for his goals. While he won't randomly start killing people, stooping low in order to achieve a goal is nothing new to him. He is a competitive person at heart and strives to be the best in his field. If he has the power, he might as well flaunt it.
Rules are important, hence the reason they were made. While Glimmer follows all the rules and laws set before him, he’s not afraid to bend them to suit his needs. He won’t go out of his way to break them, but different situations require different methods of solving them. Whichever way is more efficient tends to be the way he usually goes. In the Vandenreich, he prefers order, but outside of this, he prefers chaos out in the world. Things tend to be more exciting that way.
Even if he doesn’t like a superior, Glimmer will still follow orders given. In the end, only strength really matters, and if he was strong enough, he would only have to listen to the Emperor. Rather than dive into things headfirst, he prefers to think about the task beforehand. It’s better to go into a battle with a plan than just charging in headfirst. He’s less likely to die that way. Even just observing the situation can go a long way in getting out ahead. You can only make a good decision once you know all of your options.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Glimmer’s main fighting style focuses on hindering his opponent using whatever means necessary. He prefers to do so at a range, simply because of his specialty in using the bow. Techniques and Ginto are used to supplement his weakness and provide openings wherever applicable. He strives to be versatile, prepared for any situation that might arrive his way. Close combat isn’t one of his strengths, so the less time involved in such an endeavor, the better. If an opponent manages to close in on him, he'll try to hinder their movement before finding a better position.
Against ranged opponents, Glimmer will change his tactics and get up close and personal. While his strength here is lacking, he can make up for it with his arsenal of attacks. The main goal of most of his fights is to outlast his opponent and wear them down. If he is at a disadvantage, he won’t hesitate to retreat and find more favorable surroundings. His specialty isn’t even fighting, so the more advantages he can get, the better. Flashbangs and other annoying items tend to find themselves in his arsenal.
Due to his specialty, Glimmer’s main position in battle is somewhere in the back lines. His abilities are more suited to support, and it is here that he excels. Healing and strengthening his comrades can easily turn the tides of battle, as compared to fighting on his own. He fights best with a comrade to support, but if he has none around, he’ll use summons instead. Supporting them with his techniques while peppering his enemies from afar with his bow. His Bow Release supplements this and enhances his role on the battlefield with the utility it provides.
Bow Release Overall Theme:
Glimmer’s Bow Release allows him to better support his allies on the battlefield by giving him a variety of ways to provide beneficial effects. This includes transforming his arrows into something better suited for his needs.
Bow Release Properties:
Class Six Form Property: Upon activation, Glimmer’s arrows transform into small fairy-like creatures around six inches in size. These fairies are able to use any non-offensive ability that Glimmer knows, with the price subtracted from his reiatsu pool.
Class Five Firing Property: Upon activation, Glimmer is able to fire his arrows from the space around him. As long as the location is visible, he is able to form his arrows in the nearby ten foot area.
Class Four Power Property: Upon activation, Glimmer’s arrows undergo transformation, allowing them to store a single item inside each one. The size of the item is limited to something he can keep on his person.
Additional Tools or Techniques:
{Selee Schneide}
[Technique Name: Selee Schneide
Class: 7-1
Technique Type: Quincy Art
Usable By: Quincy
Technique Element: Reishi
Technique Description and Effects: Selee Schneide is the pinnacle of a Quincy's ability to absorb Reiatsu. When activated, a medium-length blade of Reiatsu is formed from the hilt. This blade vibrates at very high frequencies, and is capable of loosening the bonds between Spirit Particles, and then stealing the free Spirit Particles.
When the Selee Schneide is activated, it has an offensive stat of 0, regardless of the user. However, it cannot be overpowered by a technique of equal or inferior class, regardless of that technique's offensive stat. Instead, any technique that interacts with Selee Schneide has its offensive stat reduced by 100, and then the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 100. If the Selee Schneide interacts with a Reiatsu based being - such as a Shinigami, Arrancar, Hollow Akki, Rogue or Beast Clan - then the person struck loses 50 Reiatsu, and the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 50. This includes when the Selee Schneide strikes an extension of that being's soul, such as part of their Zanpakuto or Ressurecion.
At any stage, the Selee Schneide can be fired by the user, using their standard bow, as an arrow. This arrow has an offensive stat and speed equal to that of the Selee Schneide at the time of firing.
How to use technique: Hold the Selee Schneide hilt in hand, and pay the appropriate Reiatsu Cost.
Technique Drawbacks: This technique requires the same amount of TTP as a Class 4 technique to learn. The Selee Schneide can only be activated at a Class equal to or lower than the user's. The Selee Schneide can only steal Reiatsu from techniques or beings whose Class is lower to, or equal to, the Class of the Selee Schneide. This technique requires a Selee Schneide hilt (item) to use, and each hilt can only be used once. The costs for activating the Selee Schneide is the same as normal Quincy arrows. It then costs the same amount of Reiatsu per post to maintain it.]

-History-
Birthplace: Silbern
Current Residence: Silbern
History:
Glimmer was born as an only child to a doting mother in Silbern. Unfortunately his father was a casualty in a skirmish mere weeks from his birth, resulting in a somber birth. Like most kids, he was raised to admire and respect the Emperor. More so in his case, due to his mother being a Vandenreich soldier. Thus it was only natural for Glimmer to follow in his mother’s footsteps. How could he not? When he saw how much pride she had for her service, the only thing he could feel was admiration.
All in all, his childhood wasn’t too pleasant, but it could have been worse. Most of his free time was spent in his studies, as he was usually left alone due to his mother working. The loneliness bothered him in the beginning, but as more time passed on he began to grow used to it. There was always something to learn, so at least he wasn't bored. It was during this time that he developed his fondness for medical knowledge. It was quite an intensive study, but focusing on the medical field helped expand his skillset. Plus things in this field seemed to come naturally to him.
While she wasn't there often, his mother helped him with his studies whenever he ran into any difficulty. She also helped explain to him what the future would entail if he chose to be like her. Being a soldier wouldn’t be easy, but it would also be worthwhile. His experience would be a bit different from his mother’s, due to his medical expertise. But there would be some similarities regardless, so he was thankful for the knowledge his mother imparted onto him. While he still didn't like her absence, he now understood why it was necessary.
Education wasn’t a problem for Glimmer either. He took his time studying and learning, rather than making bonds like his other classmates were. While this put him at the top of the class, it also left him alone. Something he was used to by now, so his mood wasn’t too affected by this. He wanted to make his mother proud, and this showed in his grades. It was tiresome, but in the end he was glad his willpower was strong enough to see things through. But expanding his knowledge wasn’t the only area that he wanted to strengthen.
Months before he turned eighteen, Glimmer decided to focus on strengthening his body next. He was turning into an adult, and soon he would become a soldier for the Vandenreich. Naturally he wanted to make sure he was prepared before this event occurred. Thus began his daily exercising and strengthening his body. While this wouldn’t increase his strength tremendously, it would still put him above where he used to be. Plus it would make him less likely to die in battle, assuming he was even put out in the field.
It was during this time that Glimmer learned many things. About himself, about his body, and about his techniques. Quite a bit of his free time was spent exploring, seeing exactly what Silbern had to offer. There were good things and bad sprinkled about in the places that he visited. And from what he could observe, those with stronger power tended to live better lives than their weaker counterparts. It made sense in retrospect, the more use he had to the Emperor, the better off he would be.
A few months after graduation, Glimmer finally felt strong enough to enlist as a soldier. There was still much for him to learn, but he had reached a plateau in training. From what he could tell, his body was as fit as it would be. He now needed to face stronger obstacles before he’d see any more improvement. It would be dangerous, but such was his duty. The entrance exams weren’t anything too challenging so he was able to pass them with minimum effort. He had taken him time to study beforehand, and it showed.
With this accomplishment beneath his belt, Glimmer received his uniform and his new orders. He was now a Vandenreich Private, a better status than the one he had before. Still, he was pretty low on the totem pole all things considered. For the next few years, he was tasked with menial labor and the most basic of tasks. Jobs for someone of his skill level. A level he didn't plan on remaining at for long. Rising through the ranks was one of his main goals, so that was his focus for the immediate future. There was a long way to go, but he wasn’t one to back away from a challenge. It was time to prove his worth.
