This is a Joint Training / Mission between Stalker and Scarlet.
The time was finally up. Stalker got her first gig arranged after doing some of her homework. After waiting so long upon returning, she felt she was ready for the task. While her skills aren't the sharpest, she still retains the majority of her combat prowess.... with her ability unleashed. Regardless, the time was now to act. Chapter one of this all... The stage was set. The scene was created. Stalker thought of it all in her head as she leaned her back some distance away from the site. It was an old ruined building supposedly, currently closed to the public due to unsafe conditions inside. Blah, blah, blah... Some bullshit that wouldn't make any sense because the building looked perfectly fine from the outside. Her anonymous tip explained to her that this was actually a spot for rituals of some sort. A 'monster' was inside that kidnapped the residents around and used them as slaves of some sort. It's all rather not important to her but what is is that monster. If her intel serves her right, they could have an answer to what she's looking for.
It was pitch black around the entire area as well. The city lights were all knocked out for some reason. She had no idea what to expect inside but that's why she packed herself something useful. A familiar hand had once reached out of the shadows and gave her something as a 'gift'. She slowly slid on the goggles which where black like night vision goggles. She flicked them on and scanned the whole complex. Everything was blue but she could at least see some outlines of what was what. 'Hmmm... Area looks clear. I don't see any other colors than just blue.' After the thoughts were cleared, she suddenly saw someone or 'something' stumble there way to the gate. Stalker was still laxed against the building across as she took a deep breath. 'Damn that scared me!' She watched in silence as she watches the zombie-like person smack their head against the gate. A curious brow rises up on her face from observing the unusual behavior. As the figure smacked their head against the gate a few times, suddenly the gate opens up just enough for them to stumble in, closing instantly behind them. The orange signature was no where in sight from this point.
"So... We got ourselves some paranormal shit, hm? Well, I guess there's no reason to stand around here."
With that being said, she pulled up her thermo specs and walked quietly to the area. The building was surrounded by a brick wall which seemed to deter others from trespassing. Instead of approaching the gate, Stalker chose an alternative route towards the side of the facility. It was dark as hell and her eyes weren't exactly the best for this. While her necklace remained sealed, she felt as if she was just a normal human being; only just as strong a lower tier athlete. The woman scanned the wall for something... These walls were in bad shape but nothing seemed to work to climb up. She rolled her eyes, 'God damnit.. I really don't like doing this shit but I guess I've got no choice'. She pulled off her plasma sword from her belt and flicked on the blade. It appeared blue from the source of the blade as she peered into it. Memories flickered in her mind as she faintly remembered using it for a short time before. Cloudy and mysterious, she shuts those memories down. She positioned the tip of this weapon against the wall and jabs it into it. A bright swish is heard as the blade burns through the manmade bricks. She begins to guide the beam sword around as she attempts to do this quickly yet quietly. Of course, her blade's light and what not resembled a torch light but what other choice did the woman have? A round circle would be displayed from both sides as she yanked the blade out and kicked the bricks out.
The bricks busted through with ease but not without noise. She instantly flicked her sword off and holstered her sword, peering inside. There were some lights inside the courtyard but they were faint. Stalker could see all around with just her head poking through and found nothing. 'Great. No one noticed me.' She makes a sly approach into the facility's exterior area and looked around. There appeared to be a door of some sort with windows being boarded up. It seemed like her job here was simple enough. With light steps she made her way to the door and placed a hand on the handle. Stalker's grip was firm on the handle but it popped open before she had to use any force. The door's action made it feel as if she was welcomed to come inside. This would definitely put the night stalker on edge. Doors do not remain unlocked if they harbor serious threats. Regardless, she would slowly open the door and step in with silence. As soon as she steps in, she would learn of the hallways being illuminated by small candles all around the floor. The door slams shut behind her as she looked over her shoulder. Cliche.
Stalker was very mindful now what would come. While she was sealed, she was very vulnerable. She couldn't fight well like this. She knew the basics of grappling and maybe protecting herself but nothing out of the ordinary. She just had to play this extremely safe and cautious from this point. If shit hits the fan, she will need to use her abilities as a last resort. As she stepped quietly down these haunting halls, she observed several doors down a long straight hall. A door was at the end of this hall which may provide her with some insight on where to go next. As she made her way down, she took advantage of her stealth-like approach and extinguished the candles behind her. Each candle would be snuffed with her fingers. It was a precaution she had to take. Everything felt promising as of now. Nothing felt out of the ordinary other than the obvious. She made it down the hall and gripped the door at the end. The handle felt loose and she immediately entered through the door. What was ahead of her though... It was total creepiness.
The room was lit by a single television. A fat old plasma screen TV that was illuminating a static across it. Around this room appeared to be some sort of relaxation quarters for workers of this old facility. A couch in front of the TV, a fancy table on the side of it, a refrigerator in the kitchen area with a sink, and a pinball machine on one side of the room. However, that's not what was so creepy. It was a lone figure directly ahead of her that was watching the static. Her eyes lit up as she kneeled down. She didn't make a single noise coming into this room and it appeared the individual wasn't aware of her. She didn't know why but they just sat there and stared at the TV... Their back was turned on her. Stalker want to take any chances with this. She won't act out in kindness to ask if they're alright. Fuck no... No chances. She quietly walked low towards the lost individual. Her steps made no noise as the static was already loud enough. As soon as she made it close, it was her time. SNATCH!!! Her arm quickly wraps around the unknown person's neck and she'd quickly restrain them in her favor as she locked in on her prey. However... There was no resistance..
As soon as she pulled him close, she heard a gasp as if they were caught off guard. Breathing heavy from the individual... Stalker needed to act. "Hey...! Shut the fuck up...! Shut up!" As there was no resistance to this fellow, he still was breathing uncontrollably. Stalker locked eyes on his face and learned of something horrific... His face was wrinkled like an old man, eyes missing their pupils and iris, blood coming out of his eyes. Her face lit up red from the shock as she pulled him over and slamming him onto the ground behind the couch. This damn thing looked like a damn ghoul with no life as she quickly locked her arms tighter around their neck. "Who the fuck are you...?! What's going on here...?!" Stalker kept her voice low but just loud enough for them to hear. The individual gasped louder and louder as they suddenly began their resistance finally. Their teeth were shown as they tried biting towards Stalker. With that kind of behavior, Stalker took no chances. With a loud snap, she terminated the bastard's life. She quickly threw his ass over to the side and got up.
Stalker felt shocked and confused as to what happened. It was almost as if they were some sort of zombie! The hunter took her foot and used it to turn his head over. His eyes were nothing but pale white... He didn't appear to be dead from the confrontation but his being felt so hollow. She would now stand over a dead victim of this whole ordeal. She knew from this point on that everyone in this building was possibly hostile. The television's light still illuminated the room as she stood there just staring down at the poor soul. It was time for her to decide what to do next... This was going to be a long night.
