Arcadus was excited. He'd finally gotten his form back, strong and even more spiritually potent than before, and upon returning to Los Noches, had found his palace and floor practically untouched. His staff didn't celebrate his return, but they were appreciative of him returning in the predicted time. Maxi certainly had words for him about taking so long. Atlas simply clicked his tongue and asked if he wanted the dinner he'd drawn up for when he returned still.
Arcadus smirked. He'd drawn up a truly enormous list of dishes for himself, but right now, he wasn't hungry for something like that. Really all he wanted was a nice cold drink and some rice. Maybe some sushi. And a nice steak. Ok maybe he was hungry, but not for the enormous cavalcade of smells and tastes he'd envisioned he wanted. Something that fit the atmosphere he wanted, the spiritual partner to a victory lap he really desperately wanted to do.
Well, an empty mansion and quiet dinging wasn't what he was after. Time for a tour on Karakura. Clasping his hands together, Arcadus went to go get one of his party suits. He'd put together a kind of layered outfit forever ago for something like this, something to avoid having to change out of and could just peel off another layer or two depending on if he was in high dining or drinking in a hole in the wall, each layer meant to be its own outfit. It was also super useful for strip poker.
Well, hours later and significantly more intoxicated, Arcadus held a paper bag full of mochi and in his other hand was a half empty bottle of sake. He was still technically wearing all of his suit, though the jacket was draped over his shoulders like a cape and his silk tie was around his arm. There were holes in a the dress-shirt and undershirt he was wearing, a couple from cigar burns and a couple from knives from the bar brawls he'd tried very hard not to kill the participants of.
Well, right now he figured it would be nice to burn some money on an actual card game now that he was deep enough down in the bottle and high enough on the mountain for it to actually be fun. Poker was normally a straight money making trick for him, given that he could easily sense what cards people had, and if there was a crooked dealer, it ironically got easier. So this would hopefully prove to be actually fun. Ducking into the shade behind a street lamp, Arcadus fixed his outfit enough to make it look like he hadn't been spit out of a garbage compacter, and opened the door to an old cards den.
