Thread Title: Ohshi, Aoshi v Hoshi! Participants: @iokenpachi, Hoshi World: Human World Death Setting: Permanent Injuries Enabled Rating: R Location: Karakura Town Special Conditions: None Circumstances: You know the drill, Aoshi has a Kill Mod Souls on Sight order, Hoshi hates Shinigami, so violence ensues.
Aoshi was, once again, sent into a patrol to the human world. More specifically, Karakura Town, which apparently was some sort of spiritual hub? For the Kenpachi, that was merely code for 'yeah, a lot of crap happens here, so let's just keep an eye on this place'. He had already had one or two experiences there, and had even heard the wildest tales beyond those, such as talks of a small Hollow that wore a Shihakusho and dedicated its days to save people in the town. Yeah, right. Aoshi would believe that when he saw that, because so far, all he had seen Hollows do was try to eat people. When he came out of the Senkaimon and onto the skies of Karakura, Aoshi immediately felt a strange warmth, but he dismissed it as nothing but nonsense given his awful (non-existent) Energy Sensory abilities.
For the time being, he would begin his patrol by jumping from rooftop to rooftop, keeping a watchful eye in the city below. He was wearing a modified Shihakusho, prepared so that a martial arts practitioner such as himself would not be tripping over the damned cloth whilst trying to move fast. His version had no sleeves, and was more a vest than a jacket, while the hakama pants were much shorter as well and nowhere near as cumbersome. The cloth on lower section of the leg was tied around said leg, further preventing any fumblings with it.
The Kenpachi had already warmed up before going through the Senkaimon, knowing that he would need to be ready for any possible attack. He had been targeted the last time he had been on patrol with the rest of the Tenth's mooks, the latest batch of greenhorns straight out of the academy. That had not ended well, and if not for the Fourth Seat of the Fourth, Satoshi Fuuko, then it would've taken a turn toward something much, much worse. But hey, it had been a happy ending, right? Now it was just a matter of learning from the experience so it would not repeat itself.
Aoshi would land in the middle of one of the bustling streets, taking an interest in the human world streets. He hadn't any memories of any previous life, save for very odd, non-specific flashes that didn't tell him much. He was curious on the way humans lived their lives, as opposed to them. They were blissfully unaware of the threats that loomed just around the corner, even if by this point, Karakura should've been declared a no-fly zone for anyone with at least half a frontal lobe. Too many attacks, too many monsters, insurance costs must have been through the roof in that place.
But at the very least, today seemed like a good day. No Hollows in sight so far, just the chill air of a crisp summer night, with so many people out and about to enjoy their summer to the fullest before autumn settled in and dragged them back to their usual lives. Aoshi could understand that; he himself hated routine quite a bit. Cracking his knuckles, the Kenpachi decided to take a quick stroll around, see if there was anything interesting and/or worth reporting before eventually heading back via Senkaimon.
