Thread Title: Indecent Proposal Participants: @iokenpachi, Satoshi Fuuko World: Soul Society Death Setting: Permanent Injuries Enabled Rating: R Location: The Fourth's barracks Special Conditions: (I'll leave as DP for the time being since we didn't really talk about that, might be changed if needed!) Circumstances: After their first meeting, Aoshi's been wanting to fight Fuuko, so he pulls some shenanigans to try and make that happen.
Once again, Aoshi was hopping from rooftop to rooftop in the Gotei 13's barracks, making his way through the skies without too much effort, always in proper control of his stamina. He flew over gap after gap while occasionally stepping on the next roof to slightly change directions or angle his next jump, enjoying the degree of freedom and mobility that his now more tempered body granted him. He had already aided with the reconstruction efforts without any of his teammates knowing, but had missed his sparring with Benjiro since he was preoccupied with other stuff, being a seated officer and all. So, naturally, his apetite for battle turned him to the very next best option.
Thus, the Kenpachi was quick to leave his squadron's premises early, although he needed not leave Seireitei for what he wanted to do. Instead, he had taken to the rooftops, and that led us to the current point in time, where he made a beeline straight toward the home of those in the healing division, who other than healers also seemed to house some pretty strong people on their own. The son of the now broken Kuzan family could barely contain the excitement; it felt as if his blood was boiling in anticipation for the fight that was about to come.
Fuuko was the kind of person that Aoshi liked. Strong willed, no filter, said what she meant to say and nothing else. In that sense, they were pretty similar... which is why he had the perfect plan to get her to come out and play. His latest, greatest hit had been TPing the Eleventh trying to fish out a strong opponent to practice with. That maneuver had proved to be extremely effective, but it had perhaps brought out more than he could chew. Thus, this time it might be best to make a more direct approach, which should work better given that he knew exactly who he was targeting. As he watched the Fourth's barracks getting closer and closer, Aoshi couldn't help but to crack quite the nasty grin. Oh, what he had planned would bring her out alright. Well, probably. It'd really bum him out if it did not.
Once he got to the barracks, he hopped on the outer walls, squatting on his vantage point to take a good look below. The squad was as busy as ever, given they were the healers of Soul Society, so they had barely noticed his presence in the first place. All for the best, because it would allow him to work his antics as best as he could. The fourth seat may have been trying to pass herself off as a stoic and responsible individual during their first meeting, but they were cut from the same jib, bloodthirsty tendencies aside, of course. But a key difference between them was that she took her job and the role she played within her squadron very, very seriously. Of course, that just meant he could use that to his advantage.
Getting to a standing position, Aoshi took a deep breath in, stretching and feeling the slight breeze of the Seireitei. Then, unable to contain a grin, he threw his head back for a moment, and yelled his heart out. Turns out that for someone with his strength, he could project his voice very, very far if he put his mind to it.
"SATOSHI FUUKO, FOURTH SEAT OF THE FOURTH SQUAD!"
He intentionally left a heavy pause hanging in the air, gleefully watching as every single one of the fourth squadron Shinigami that were down below and within earshot. Once a few good seconds had passed, the Kenpachi breathed in again, and shouted something else.
"I HAVE BEEN IN LOVE WITH YOU SINCE THE DAY WE FIRST MET! WON'T YOU COME OUT HERE AND MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST MAN IN SOUL SOCIETY?"
If the people in the Fourth knew about their Fourth seat, this was probably bound to spread like wildfire. And even if they did not, rumors and gossip were a juicy thing. The fact that a strapping young man--of course Aoshi thought himself as one, come on--had just declared himself to their Fourth Seat. Or so it looked, at least. Aoshi was not trying to woo Fuuko, nothing further from reality. He was trying to get her to come out, yes, but to smack him, thus giving him the perfect excuse to defend himself. If she did not come out and nip this whole mess in the bud, it was bound to spread like wildfire.
So, he'd made his move and laid his bait. Now, it was just a matter of waiting, and hoping that she would be at least fun enough to respond to that declaration in kind. Well, they would see. Worst case scenario, she ignored him and he'd made a fool out of himself. But then again, his reputation was already in shambles, right? A win win, to be honest.

Fuuko was, surprisingly, in a sedentary position when Aoshi showed up. She was busy in the middle of filling out Paperwork while the rest of Squad Four did their usual duties. With her glasses on and her nose down, she scribbled signature after signature on stacks and stacks of paper. So, when Aoshi began to bellow, she had barely registered it at first. Commotion was not uncommon in the Gotei 13, and was specifically fairly common in the Yonbantai. Injuries were treated regardless of severity and it was not unusual to see a troupe of Yonbantai soldiers barking here and there.
However, when one of her subordinates barged in and specifically mentioned that a man was screaming a marriage proposal, Fuuko's eyes raised. She couldn't think of anyone who would be bold enough to actually pull a stunt like that. If they knew Fuuko at all they would know she was not the type looking to settle down. It was just the opposite. Fuuko wanted to sew her wild oats as much as she could. Still, it was enough to get her out of her chair and into the streets where she was led to Aoshi.
As soon as she saw him, her eyebrows raised and she grinned. She looked around at the shinigami milling about and then grinned even wider. "OI, BALDY! DID YA FINALLY GET SOME HAIR ON YER NUTS?! YER BALLS SURE MUSTA SWOLLEN UP IF YER GONNA COME HERE AND BARK TA ME ABOUT GETTIN HITCHED!" She barked back, puffing out her chest. "It's a good thing yer here. We can check out that swollen sack a yers!" Fuuko said with a grin. She shook her head. "Balls or no balls, though, this is a clinic. People are tryin ta fuckin rest!"
Fuuko pointed down in front of her. "You wanna marry me. I don't think yer husband material. I want more than just a seta big balls , ya know?" She remarked. "Maybe somethin else is big ta go with em! Ha!" Fuuko laughed sharply. "Why are ya actually here? Did yer squadmates bully ya? Ya sad? Sorry, this ain't a psych ward. We can't fix hurt feelins!"
Aoshi would not have to wait for too long for his apparent plea for love to go heard by its intended recipient. It wasn't even ten minutes before Fuuko popped up from within the Barracks. Strange; he'd thought her type would be one to be active, running out and about, not sitting inside. She had mentioned she was a seated officer, though. If paperwork came with it, then Aoshi wanted to have nothing to do with a position of power. Being an unfettered Unseated officer was simply too much fun compared to that. Nobody gave a shit whether he came or went, other than to keep track of his parole, and even then that was pretty lax since he was often on different assignments.
When he saw the gait with which she was walking, and the smile in her lips, Aoshi already knew she was going to play his game rather than scold or act offended because of it. Boy oh boy, this is gonna be one hell of a riot, Aoshi thought, unable to contain a rather cheeky half-grin himself. Fuuko did not betray his expectations, not even for one second: not only did she take it in the chin like a champ, she actually reversed his apparent marriage proposal, screaming at the top of her lungs that he'd better have grown some hair on his balls if he really wanted to take her.
Once she got closer, she changed her tone to a more normal one, of course. No need to shout, and just as she had said, this was an infirmary. People were trying to rest in the Fourth; it wouldn't do good to disturb them. Of course, now that he had accomplished his initial objective, the latest addition to the Tenth also changed to a proper register. "Isn't the whole point of the Fourth to have make it so that these people won't rest in peace?" he pointed out. Needless to say, he also feigned pain, agony and discontent when she said he was far from marriage material.
"Oh, I'm heartbroken. And here I thought I was the perfect man. I'll take the compliment on the big balls, though", he commented. Fuuko then wanted to know why he was actually there. Well, it wasn't like he'd put much effort into making his act believable, right?
"Well, if we must get to the point..." Aoshi began, lamenting that the banter wouldn't last much longer. "I didn't lie. What I'm here for is you", he teased, gesturing toward her with a hand. It was the truth, just not in the way she might have expected. "Last time we met, I ended up getting a liiittle out of control. You mentioned I'd better calm down before you, and I quote, 'stacked my unconscious body on top of my teammate's", he said light-heartedly, clearly not butthurt about it. No, if anything, he was happy she'd chosen those specific words.
"I'm here to collect on that promise, this time without any Hollows trying to eat me or my teammates", he shrugged, still nonchalantly. "Other than Rocky, my usual training partners are pretty much the same wusses you saw back in the day. I'd ask Captain Celes, but doesn't give me the time of day; though I'm sure that's only because she doesn't want to hog the pleasure of my company", he said, already stretching out a little. His shoulder joints cracked, falling into place after getting a bit stiff from the reconstruction work.
"So, you and me, one on one, we go at it for a few rounds? Sparring, of course" he said, keeping his half grin. Truth be told, between his mission with Benjiro and his last few outings, he'd realized he really needed to increase his power. The Soul Society would not be endangered by an individual of his level any time soon, although he had just joined. He wanted to see just how far his body could take him, and a proper fighting match against a high-end Seated Officer might give him a good indication on where exactly he stood in the pecking order.
Now it was just a matter of waiting for her answer.
