Quest Time Frame: Hopefully 5+ pages (There will be a week timer for posts before I chose to skip your turn in the thread order.)
Quest Setting (NDE/DE): NDE
Quest Synopsis: An anonymous contractor within the World of the Living is rather upset with the competition that is posed by Kita’s Shop and really wishes to cripple his business. They've put out a job with details of wanting you to do your worst to his production process over the next following three days and whoever makes it out alive will be paid handsomely. They've provided the location of a safehouse that is to be used.
Overall Goal: Cause as much damage to Kitai’s production process
Number of missions involved: 3 + 3 optional
BASIC Synopsis of each Quest mission: Day One [Easy] - Destroy Valuables + unknown optional Day Two [Medium] - Destroy Factory Lines + unknown optional Day Three [Hard] - Damage the Warehouse + unknown optional
Note: At the end of the first two days, participants will have their reiatsu pools restored by 20% (i.e. 50/100 -> 70/100). Release, Hell Masks/Cloaks, and other such abilities that have timers are refreshed for the new day. They may also use Quest Points (QP) to buy consumables, weapons, and other items from provided by the contractor. Participants are given 3,000 QP to begin with. Participants do not need a firearms license to use provided weapons.
The Safehouse. A place where criminals, mercenaries, delinquents and other unscrupulous deplorables can hide from the law or other entities that might be searching for them. They come in many shapes and sizes, ranging from shipping containers and abandoned warehouses to big expensive mansions or penthouses. The one provided to the team that had decided to take this job had the guise of a boarded up, permanently closed dry cleaner building. The van that would be transporting them to the warehouse was parked around the back, in between the alleys that were hidden behind it.
The team was provided instructions about the loose board that could be moved to enter the building. The initial room they would step into was completely empty and nothing more than a large open space. There was a door that jutted out from one wall with a hidden code panel next to it, the code provided with the instructions, that led to the decent sized basement where a rough set up was provided. The “setup” consisted of a large table with a map of the targeted warehouse on it. The entire room was lit up by a couple industrial construction lamps, which really showed off the rather minimalist set up that the team was provided.
There was a sofa pushed against one of the walls and a set of foot locker containers, each one labeled with the name of who it belonged to from the team. Inside each foot locker was the supplies that the individual had bought from the provided inventory that the team had been offered after taking the job. Of course, each locker was locked with a special lock that responded to the reiatsu of the owner and the locker’s themselves were built to take quite the beating should any of the team decide to be too greedy.
On the table with the map of their target was a piece of paper that appeared to be a note from the contractor with instructions and details of what they wanted done today during the mission. Their first task was to sneak into the warehouse and destroy valuable products with a combined worth of 500,000 Ryo. The note states that the valuables should be kept in wooden shipping crates. Explosives are encouraged.
The note also adds that supposedly there is to be a special shipment being made. If the team can find and destroy it then there will be a bonus added on to the payout. The contractor’s intel says that one of the guards with a gold KS emblem on their uniform should know and have access to where the special shipment is being kept. The contractor also advises that if the team doesn’t want too much complication in the following days, then they should keep the alarms from going off for as long as possible.
Aside from all that, the team was instructed that when they’re ready to leave for the target location, to grab their gear and load up into the van, smacking the tinted divider window three times to signal them. Additionally, they were also advised not to let anyone see them leave the target location after they complete their mission, saying the driver won’t leave as long as there are any witnesses. Once they’re ready and cleared to leave however, they’ll give the tinted window three smacks again to signal them to head back to the safehouse.

Cannot be used with Reiatsu packs. Cost: 1,200 QP Each
{SS-2 Assault Rifle}Description: A basic assault rifle that fires standard bullets, allowing the user to fight without expending Reiatsu at the cost of using Reiatsu-charged bullets that must be separately bought. This fires bursts of five shots each. Type of Item: Firearm Class: 5 Item Power (IP): 150 Offense Type: Physical Durability: 2x IP Bonuses: N/A Drawbacks: Cannot be used without ammo packs. Cannot be used with Reiatsu packs. Cost: 1,200 QP Each
{Flashbang Grenades (3)}Description: Though it looks much like a standard grenade, a Flashbang Grenade explodes with a blinding light when it detonates. This can cause a temporary loss of sight for all affected, particularly those who have sharpened senses. Type of Item: Tool Class: 4 Item Power (IP): N/A Offense Type: N/A Durability: 300 Bonuses: Anyone looking into an explosion caused by a Flashbang will immediately be rendered blind for two posts, plus an additional post for every 100 Senses they have. Drawbacks: Consumable item; once used, this item is lost, regardless of thread rating. Cost: 1,000 QP Each
{Grenades (5)}Description: A small, egg-shaped object that, when its pin is pulled and the item is thrown, will explode exactly five seconds later with deadly force. Type of Item: Weapon Class: 7 Item Power (IP): 150 Offense Type: Physical Durability: Equal to Base IP Bonuses: When used, a Class 7 Grenade deals full damage at a range of 15 feet, with damage reduced to half from 16-40 feet from flying shrapnel. Both ranges increase by 5 feet with each Class, with a maximum full-damage range at 30 feet and a maximum partial-damage range at 55 feet at Class 4. When this explosion strikes an item in full-damage range, it ignores IP and automatically deals half of its IP to the item’s durability. Stretching her shoulders and looking over the note in her hand once more, Camila sighed to herself. It seemed that quite the interesting letter had been dropped in her quarters somewhat recently; something of a raid occurring on one of the major Kitai Shop facilities. Sure, she wasn't exactly against Kitai or anything, but she wasn't exactly going to pass up money or anything.
Especially while she owed Kitai a favor. This was like, killing two birds with one stone right?
Walking into the oddly familiar safehouse, Camila took a moment to look around. Something seemed kind of familiar about the place. Like she'd almost been here before. In fact, something almost drew her to a locker on the left of the room, that seemed to be locked with a passcode of sorts. She had no reason to have known what this locker had contained, but she couldn't shake the feeling that all of this had happened before!
Hmm... She thought to herself, pondering over the locked locker, I wonder if I... As she pressed a couple of numbers into the pinpad attached to the door - something she had no right of knowing - it seemed that the door had unlocked with a loud 'kachunk'. "What the fuck?" She spoke to herself, looking inside the thing. A rifle, and four total magazines had displayed themselves rather prominently.
As she picked them up, aimed down the barrel, and got a bit familiar with the weapons, Camila couldn't help but smile. This was certainly going to be quite the day, huh? Or, multiple days, if it took that long. If nothing else, she was ready to fight. And, abandon her powers if necessary. She burst into laughter. There was no way in hell that she was going to abandon her powers. Not after working so long on something like that! She couldn't help but smile at the idea.

It wasn't often that Celes found herself walking around in the business district of Karakura. Looking at a little note with an address, the Captain's amber eyes browsed several warehouses that had been built nearby. Taking a right, the Shinigami walked down an alleyway and made her way to the back of the warehouse. Rust had begun to stain the steel, walls were littered with graffiti, and the van that she had been looking for was parked a few meters up ahead.
So what was the Captain of the Tenth doing in such an unsavory place? Simple. She was here on behalf of XCution. The organization had been given the opportunity to conduct a raid on Kitai's production line. Having renewed her relationship with the Fullbringer, Shizuka, Celes was offered to participate in lieu of one of their own agents. Ordinarily, this would've been out of the question, but Celes had to prepare to forge new relationships. After all, her Inner Hollow had been becoming more and more active of late. It would only be a matter of time until she slipped up and Honegumi revealed herself to the Gotei Thirteen, effectively condemning the Captain. She shuddered at the thought and shook her head.
She had to focus on the here and now. Making her way to a couple of loose boards, Celes set one or two aside to slip past and enter a room. She looked at the nearby keypad and held her little piece of scrap paper up. A few codes had been hastily scribbled on, starting with the door code. Tapping the keypad, the door made a soft clicking sound and unlocked. he Captain hummed as she pushed it open and made her way into the warehouse proper.
The interior was rather large, offering a few commodities such as a vending machine, couches, and lockers. The lights flickered briefly causing Celes to let out a soft sigh. Speaking of the lockers, it seemed that there was someone else involved. Walking forward and turning the corner, Celes took one look at her partner as her eyes widened. The raven-haired girl who had been staring down the sights of a rifle was none other than Camila Adaronde. "Oh, you've gotta be fucking kidding me..."
Even with the clothing that XCution had provided her for the mission, Celes' green hair was extremely identifiable and the pair shared way too much history for it to go overlooked. The Captain took a deep breath and took a few steps forward while waving at Camila. "I can't say I believe in fate, but it is quite strange that we should cross paths so soon again." She paused briefly and smiled, "Glad to see that you were able to get out after one of your number was charred to ash by the ol' man."
Was Celes expecting the most hearty welcome? No. That didn't really matter though. The Captain was going to be civil if nothing else. After her little greeting, the Shinigami walked up to one of the lockers which read Celes in bold letters. Leaning down, she pressed her finger against a small pane that read her reiatsu signature. The foot locker had some equipment that had already been ordered by the former agent. From within, Celes pulled a small pistol. Two ammo packs were stashed in the locker along with a set of three flashbangs.
The green-haired Shinigami clicked her tongue and fiddled around with the pistol a little bit. Her understanding of firearms was minimal, but now was the time to figure it out. Opening the ammo pack, Celes grabbed hold of a magazine and slowly pushed it into the firearm. Moving it around a little in her hand, Celes sighed. "Not really my style, but I guess it'll have to do." Sliding her coat to the side, the Shinigami stowed her firearm, the rest of the magazines, and the flashbangs. It was a fairly light loadout all things considered, her heavy weaponry being the longsword which rested in its sheath on her back. With that out of the way, Celes made her way to the large table that sat in the middle of the room. "So... any idea what exactly we're dealing with here?", she asked.
The map shows a layout of the warehouse as well as the packing and loading bays for the shipments that get sent out. It seems the shelves where everything is stored is in the back most left corner of the warehouse. As for where any kind of special shipments would be held isn't made obvious on this map, however there is a notable lounge area right next to the entrance as well as some office space past the shipping and receiving area that they could possibly go to investigate if they really wanted to accomplish the bonus task that was mentioned in the notes.
It should also be noted that while the warehouse wasn't bigger than what one would expect, having an area of fifty thousand square feet, there were still alarms noted to be set up on the outside walls, in the main storage area, as well as in the offices and lounge area. While they were tasked with destroying as much expensive products as possible it seemed that they could pull this off without alerting many people if the pair would like and had the necessary skills to do so. Of course however they decided to approach this was completely up to them. All their contractor cared about was that the tasks would be accomplished and providing the two with the resources and transportation.

Being pulled from her rifle examination, Camila turned her attention toward the green-haired woman that had just entered the building. Smirking to herself, she lowered the weapon, turning to face the woman. "Well, well, well," she started, "can't say I'm keen on the idea of Fate either, but looks like this might've been meant to happen." Listening to the woman's words from there, Camila nodded her head.
Ah, yes. How could she forget about the situation with Mister Rizer J. Tile? The man that had decided it a good idea to charge head-first into Seireitei, leave behind a self-conflicting distraction crew, and think that they could just waltz in and do what they wanted. The man had no tact whatsoever, and it certainly showed. She found herself chuckling at the thought of such an event.
"Oh, you mean that mistake?" She spoke, her tone uncaring, "good on 'em for being smoked. Incompetent dogs like that hardly last." She began to mutter under her breath. "And, now I'm the one stuck filling that disappointment's shoes. Lucky me." Letting out a soft sigh, she slung the weapon over her shoulder, before stowing the extra magazines of ammunition. This was certainly going to be quite the mission, if they were being provided with firearms to walk in with.
"How's that 'friend' of yours by the way?" Camila couldn't help but smirk at the question she'd asked. "Wanted to sooner, but never quite caught her name. Mind sharing that for me?" Walking closer to the Shinigami, Camila gave her a rather uncomfortable stare. She really wanted to learn the name of that damned Hollow. More than anything though, she really wanted to fight that Hollow again. Seemed to be Celes' pinnacle of power - much like how Camila had vanquished her own Inner Hollow. Thinking back to the encounter rather fondly, she patiently waited to hear Celes' answer.
Regardless of the conversation to follow, Camila nodded her head with Celes' own comment toward the gun. "You ain't the only one. Doesn't hurt to have though, aye?" In truth, having a gun seemed a little counterintuitive for the Vizard. Given she'd a desire to get in close where possible, was this going to hinder her ability to have fun? Hopefully not; she didn't want to have to ditch the damned thing.
Placing her hands on the table, and looking over the map, Camila began to ponder the information put in front of her. "Exactly what we're dealing with? No, I've not a clue. Interacted with Mister Yoru himself only a couple of times. Never been to any of his warehouses. I'd like to think we've quite a good amount of information here though." Continuing to take in what she could, Camila traced her hands across the map sprawled across the table. Moving from one of the shipment bays to the other with a trace of her finger, she hummed to herself while tracing a path across the warehouse.
"Drink, Kyūketsuki."
As she spoke her words, and her Zanpakutō quickly took hold around her fingers, Camila took the opportunity to point to one of the northern shipment bays. "Way I see it, we've a couple'a options here. Could go in through this entrance here, tear up what we can along the way, 'n get the fuck out from the same place. If you're inclined to make some noise, that is." As she finished speaking, a small stream of blood released from one of the orbs on her fingers, before pinning itself as a needle-thin spike into the map.
"Could also head in through here," she said, once again marking a point on the map; namely, an entrance closer to the southwestern portion of the warehouse. "Closer to where we need to go; means we could probably head in quietly. Not sure how... 'apt' you are for something like that, but it could be worth a try. Would take us a bit longer to get that other goal accomplished, though."
Description: Channeling her own vitality, Camila is able to conjure forth attacks and weapons from her own blood, utilizing it in unique and potentially powerful ways. Simple attacks utilize the base costs listed above, being bolts of blood, quick whips, and various other one-off strikes from a range. In Bankai, Camila is capable of conjuring forth weapons with this blood, utilizing her Skill in Weapons - Claws to wield and possessing a Durability equal to Camila's Strength, +20% per 5 Blood Gauge spent, capping at three times Camila's Strength. In Resurrección, these attacks can be superheated or flash-frozen, resulting in significant third-degree burns or immediate frostbite on the areas struck.
How to Use: Draw blood, and conjure forth the desired manifestation.
Drawbacks: Can get rather expensive for a basic attack ability. Weapons are still Classed, and are subject to the penalties of such. No more than three weapons can be created at a time, and these weapons must be melee in nature. Line-based attacks will strike at 800 Speed, whereas controlled attacks and floating weapons will strike at 600 Speed. Lasting weapons created that are not utilized in one-off attacks will instead cost 100 Reiatsu. Burns or frostbite are resisted with a 3 in the respective Tolerance Skill, and costs an additional 100 reiatsu to do per attack.

As expected, the two girls shared in some rather casual banter. It did reveal two little interesting morsels of information. First, the victim of the Head Captain's Zanpakutō was Camila's predecessor. In truth, Celes had no idea what position Camila held within Las Noches nor did it really matter. Though, knowing Camila, she likely didn't settle for scraps. Second, Camila held some animosity toward her predecessor. Granted, it wasn't that surprising coming from Camila, but nevertheless.
Before the Captain went on to look at her equipment, the conversation began to take quite a turn. "How's that 'friend' of yours by the way?" Turning her head, Celes stared at Camila with a bit of a perplexed look. "I'm sorry?" Unfortunately, Camila would elaborate. "Wanted to sooner, but never quite caught her name. Mind sharing that for me?" Celes initially blinked in response as she turned her gaze toward her equipment.
Even as Camila drew closer, Celes would not offer her the time of day. At least, not yet. After the Captain finished loading her pistol, stowing her equipment along the belt that rested against her waist, Celes turned to Camila. Shooting her an unamused stare, she finally answered, "Yes, I do mind, actually." It was a cold and cursory remark that hinted at some frustration. If Camila pried further, Celes would just ignore those questions and move on.
Assuming that the two girls still discussed their plan of attack, Celes listened carefully. Seems they had two options. They could either try the silent way or just bash in the front gate. Celes gently tapped the table before looking at Camila. "Well... stealth has never been my strong suit... or yours for that matter,", she remarked snidely. "As you said, though, it could be worth a shot. Worst case scenario, we break down the door once we're already inside given that our mission is to wreck the place. Sound good to you?"
Ultimately, Celes could be persuaded to a more direct approach and would likely acquiesce if it came down to it, but subtlety had its advantages. Taking a few more moments to study the map, combing her eyes across the map of the complex, the girl stood up straight and sighed. "Well, if there's nothing else... let's get this done." Walking towards the van which was parked along the back of the warehouse, Celes gently slapped the back side of the van before opening the back and getting in. If nothing else, it would be interesting to work closely with Camila again.
Regardless of what method of approach they decided to take, once the pair piled into the van, they'd have roughly an hour or so of travel before the van would come to a stop. Upon exiting the van, they'd find themselves parked just a few buildings away from the warehouse, which had a 10 foot tall metal wall surrounding it's perimeter. The two guards would be quite noticeable to the duo, especially with the hand guns strapped onto their waist as they just stood outside the entrance of the wall. Aside from spotting those two, it would appear that the warehouse wasn't busy; on the outside at least.
The entrance to the front of the warehouse seemed to be about a good ten feet from the wall which also seemed to be reinforced with spiritual steel, at least from what Celes could tell. They wouldn't be able to spot the alarms from their position as well as to whether there were other guards that took a patrol route past the wall so if they wanted to take the guards out without alerting anyone they'd have to be quick about it.
Although it seems like they might not have too much time to come up with a plan as the guards slowly begin to take notice of their spiritual presence as well as to the sudden arrival of the van, their attention shifting to where it had parked. They were slowly starting to draw the pistols from their waist as they silently nod to each other and one seems to make their way towards the van.

Chuckling at Celes' comment about her Inner Hollow, Camila nodded her head. "All in time, I suppose? I will get its name, even if I have to wait an eternity to do so." A chuckle sounded from the girl. She'd been hellbent on reuniting with Celes' Inner Hollow, that much was certain. No way in hell she wouldn't take that opportunity if it arose even during this little mission, that was to be damned sure.
As she ran Celes through their options, Camila found herself already quite invested in the little situation that had presented itself. To tear apart a warehouse like this? This was going to be fun. Celes' comment about stealth made the girl laugh. "What?" She asked jovially, "you mean to tell me that I can't be stealthy?" She knew Celes was right on that matter, but she did want to have a bit of fun with her. After all, they were to spend the next three days tackling this hellhole; the least she could do was enjoy herself a bit.
"Sounds good t'me," she spoke, "shouldn't be too difficult all things considered. 'Specially if their defenses aren't worth shit. Guess we'll find out when we get there, yeah?" As the two got up and went toward the van, Camila took the opportunity to get in the back, much like her Shinigami friend. If nothing else, it would be interesting to work closely with Celes again. In due time, the van eventually arrived at their destination, though not without a level of silence from Camila. Instead of taking any opportunity to to chat, she simply did what she could to stoke her aggression, keeping herself cool and as level-headed as possible for what was to come. More than anything, she was going to struggle rather significantly to head in quietly at first, there was no doubt about that fact.
Looking over past the driver, Camila turned back to Celes. "Seems we got a bit'a company." Not waiting for a response from Celes, given the urgency of the situation, Camila carefully opened the back door, before pressing off the back of the van in order to take to the air. With an acrobatic twirl of her own, she threw a fan of spikes toward the guards, all made from crystalline blood. Her goal had been to take them out as efficiently and silently as possible, in order to avoid compromising their mission.
Landing shortly thereafter, regardless of success or not, Camila took cover behind the van, and rendezvoused with Celes once more. If they'd been killed, she'd hit the girl with a simple "Problem solved." If not, well, then the impending gunfire would've been enough of a signal for something like that.
The guards had spotted her in the air and raising their weapons to take aim at Camila but were much too slow to keep up with the acrobatic Vizard. The blood spikes impale the two with little resistance, going cleanly through their chests as the two guards look down at the holes now in their bodies. They then fall over motionless as the blood pools out from their body. There were no signs of their stealth being blown.
Depending on how the pair decided to continue, they'd have a few choices in how to proceed. They could go over or through the wall, if they could break through it. If either of them search the guards, they'd find some spare ammunition for the guards pistols which they could use. There was also some type of blue card in one of the guards pockets. It wouldn't take much investigation to determine that the blue keypad near the gate is what it went to.
Once they were on the other side of the compounds walls, they'd find that it was very quiet with no noise of activity of any kind from the warehouse. They would spot the occasional outline of people from inside the warehouse windows as lights swept by inside. There were also spotlights on the corners of the roof that were slowly sweeping the area it seemed.
Immediately in front of them they'd see to be two loading bays labeled A and B, with a parking lot along the side of the building to the right. The loading bay doors were closed and locked but they still had some time to figure out their next move before the spotlights on either corner of the roof swept over the area they were in.
