A loud, thunderous roaring of condensed spiritual power began to echo through Karakura town, as the sky tinted a shade of red. Those with any amount of spiritual awareness were likely to take notice of the rapidly-growing ball of red light in the sky, accompanied by the girl that seemed to almost be standing on air. As the signature screech of the hollowed technique rang out across the open area, Camila made no effort to hide her intentions that were to follow. In fact, the very second it reached critical mass, as the screeching came to a distinct halt, she smirked.

From the girl, a single, powerful word was spoken. "Cero."

As her words finished, she unleashed the attack upon central Karakura Town. The laser expanded and exploded, ravaging and tearing into the pavement, buildings, and poor, poor civilians that happened to be out during the afternoon. Within an instant, more than a city block had been incinerated to the blast that was brought before the world. And, in truth? It felt damned good. She couldn't quite explain it, but she felt powerful. Above the rest of the world. She felt like for the first time in her life, her position and stature had actually been worth a damn.

As the laser cannon continued to reave through crowds, buildings, and everything else caught within its expansive blast, Camila took a deep breath. It wasn't something she could simply utilize as often as she wanted; no, it certainly required her to take breaks every now and again. But, so what if the pay-out was this great? After having spent so much time in Hueco Mundo honing her abilities, training such a technique to the point where she had it now, she was ready to finally unleash it upon the world. Upon an individual that dared challenge her in combat. The idea made her absolutely ecstatic.

Slowly lowering herself to the ground, Camila took in the sound of the crumbling town. The screams of innocent lives, just waiting to be taken. The sounds of roaring fires, burning down that which was loved. The sounds of car sirens echoing through the afternoon. It was utterly intoxicating! She wanted to hear more. She wanted to hear so, so much more of this! Pointing another finger behind her, a blast no smaller than the first burst forth, leaving another deepened crater in the ground before her. She was to seize the day, and bring about the wrath of Las Noches as best she could. She would make a name for herself; a name to be feared.

Technique Cost: 150, 250, 400 Reiatsu.

Description: A frequent ability among Hollows and Arrancar is Cero, a technique which releases a blast of pure spiritual energy with deadly explosive force. Bearing the power of a Hollow themselves, Vizards can learn a similar ability, though theirs is augmented further by combining both their spiritual energy with their Inner Hollow’s. The result is a deadly technique far more powerful than that of an average Cero, allowing a Vizard to strike a devastating blow against their foes.

At Learned, this is a basic Class 4 Cero, albeit with a Shinigami’s energy signature rather than a Hollow’s for those who are sensitive enough to discern the two. It is at Proficient that this technique becomes more potent: not only does the technique evolve to now be Class 3, but it also gains an automatic 50% bonus to the Reiatsu Strength of the technique if used without the Vizard Mask active. Additionally, traces of both Hollow and Shinigami energy are present in the technique. Finally, at Mastered, this technique becomes Class 2, and is given a 100% boost to the Reiatsu Strength of the technique when used without the mask, giving it the same power as when a Vizard’s Mask is worn.

How to Use: Gather energy and release from a palm. As this technique grows stronger, Hollow energy is added into the technique, making it more powerful.

Incantation: N/A.

Drawbacks: While this technique becomes more powerful with increased mastery, it also becomes more expensive, expending more energy for its increase in force. Initially, the Vizard’s Cero costs 150 Reiatsu, and the cost increases to 250 Reiatsu at Class 3. At Class 2, it increases to 400 Reiatsu per use.

Nuala had been out on patrol. It was an off day for the tea shop, so she had decided to suit up and head out for the day, on the lookout for rogue Hollows or similar spiritual threats. And well. Did she ever find one. She was in the alley between buildings nearby when the first cero rocked the town. The energy was clearly constructed into the shape of a cero; the fullbringer had interacted and integrated with so many of them it was impossible to miss, but the energy signature read "shinigami." Fusion of hollow and shinigami, with that structure? She just had to--

She barely had time to release Eclipse of Conscience and put up the moons to shield herself from the second one. This was no meager-level threat. They could fire multiple ceros, one right after the other. Behind her, a penumbra formed where she had halted the second cero's destruction, but all around her were the destroyed lives of where the energy blast had still ravaged Karakura. Her good mood had been soured.

At the epicenter, she spotted the most likely culprit. With her sense of auras and energy, she probed the woman from a distance. Her name was Camila, and she was a bad, bad girl. She identified as a vizard, prompting a little more probing from Nuala's energy sense to read into. She had the potential to don her hollow mask with a little too much readiness, and she was a loose cannon in general.

Riding one of the moons of her release, Nuala swiftly crossed the distance between herself and Camila, wrapping her body in soul dew that leaked from the eyeslits of the moons at the same time. This was most certainly not an opponent to take lightly. The soul dew blossomed dramatically around her, giving liquid and solid crystalline accents to her armor, overcoat, and hair piece. Today, she had selected the half-circlet that reminded her of Erscheinung von Geister.

"Hey," she called out to the vizard. "Take it somewhere else, jackass." Twenty-five feet long and resplendent, a pair of Eastern dragons wrought from flames emerged from the space behind her as she approached. They loosely wreathed her body with themselves. "Before we have to make you." She had to stay impartial at the very least, after all. Give this one an opportunity to give up sooner rather than later. Intact rather than... that.

Of course, she didn't expect that from Camila. Stepping onto the ground, she moved the moons into a defensive array between them. Almost casually, but keeping her eyes on the vizard woman, Nuala loaded a spirit cartridge into each gauntlet. Behind her, the midnight coral inventory and jade coral fish bowl followed her invisibly, fully stocked with all the manner of fish she'd crafted to date.

Camila really picked the wrong day to pick a fight.

[Camila Adaronde]

She felt that. She felt it clear as day, despite having very minimal sensory capabilities. Somebody just released. She couldn't tell what it was, or who it was, but an explosion of spiritual energy had made itself very clearly present after the second laser. Someone was coming for her. And, she was going to take that fuck out on her own. Streaking the palm of her hand against the open edge of her sword, Camila spoke two words before the storm began.

"Drink, Kyūketsuki."

Much like whomever had taken notice of her, Camila similarly let her spiritual capabilities run rampant, exploding outward in her own reiatsu. Her sword had quickly changed its shape in a flash of red light, almost complimenting the white garb she wore to signal her allegiance. On each hand rested a set of metallic claws, coating her fingers in these ringlike weapons. Exhaling as though she'd taken a deep breath, she couldn't help but flash the open area a toothy smirk. In her mouth, two canines protruded further down than normal.

And, it seemed that her little visitor was right on time. As the echoing "Take it somewhere else, jackass" sounded out, with the arrival of a new individual, Camila raised an eyebrow. As her words finished, Camila couldn't help but chuckle. She really thought that something like this was going to be enough to threaten her? "You know, you're either quite brave, or quite moronic..." As her words trailed off, Camila's body seemed to almost... vanish.

If she hadn't the capabilities to react to the speeds Camila had launched herself at, Nuala was likely to experience a number of small bites from a swarm of bats. Not necessarily enough to do much damage, but enough to be quite a nuisance, given her head had been exposed. Though, that wasn't the main goal of this little maneuver. From behind the Fullbringer, and at the same 3,300 Speed she'd moved at, Camila caused a symphony of cacophonous sounds; the crunching of metal, the tearing of leather, and the breaking of skin in Nuala's own neck.

Jamming two of her claws into the Fullbringer's skin, Camila allowed a small bit of her own blood to pour into the woman's body. A 'gift', some might've thought, but soon to be anything but if she wasn't careful. Ripping her blades from the woman with a step back, expertly vaulting a bit away to create some distance, she let out a soft humming. "...I promise you that, if you think this is to be easy, you're going to be in for a world of agony. Take the time you need to get used to that little concoction, yeah?"

Assuming the blood had entered the Fullbringer's body as planned, she'd be experiencing a rather unpleasant feeling; one that had only been further exacerbated by the afternoon sun. It wasn't to be the most notable effect at the moment, but it'd feel as though the sun had gotten just a bit brighter. Like the various flashings and reflections of windows had grown a little larger. The Vizard smirked. "Hope you know what you're getting yourself into."

{吸血鬼 - Kyūketsuki (lit. ‘Vampire’)}

At its heart, Kyūketsuki seeks to turn Camila into a bloodthirsty killing machine, not unlike that of the vampires its namesake represents. Upon releasing Kyūketsuki, Camila’s Zanpakutō begins to thirst for the blood of every living thing. A night-insatiable thirst perpetually driving both her and her Zanpakutō, this drive is tracked through a resource known as the Blood Gauge. This Blood Gauge begins at and maxes out 100 upon Camila’s first release duration, and will be kept track of regardless of whether her release duration expires. Upon re-release, this will resume at the same spot it was paused at. All of Camila’s release techniques will expend this gauge as a cost, either in addition to or in place of reiatsu. Techniques that similarly cost reiatsu can instead be paid in additional Blood Gauge, but every 10 reiatsu in that cost will equal 1 Blood Gauge point. If Camila does not have enough Blood Gauge to pay for a technique, she can still activate it, but doing so will set her Gauge to 0. As a note, Camila’s powers round up where appropriate.

Functioning much like a vampire’s teeth would, Camila’s claws function in such a way that lets her drain the blood of her victims, to then be stored within her Zanpakutō. Passively, this gauge will increase by 5 each post. Each strike that Camila lands on her living victims with these claws will increase her Blood Gauge by 15 points. While spiritually-resilient individuals will likely be able to take this strike and continue walking, basic humans are not likely to take more than one strike before being felled, and are thus only good for 15 points. If Camila manages to bury two of these claws into the neck of a living victim for a few moments, her Blood Gauge will return to a full 100, regardless of previous stature, but such a maneuver will likely leave her open to attacks by those she isn’t actively feeding on. Individuals that do not possess blood will instead restore half of these values.

The closer that Camila finds herself to the point of reaching 0 on this gauge, the more desperate she’ll grow for another fill of blood, boosting her offensive capabilities but coming with a slew of problems. A percentage of Camila’s base Reiatsu Strength will be overlaid onto her physical attacks, not to increase their striking force, but instead to bypass defensive capabilities, equal to the inverse of her current Blood Gauge total. To reference easily, this is referred to as Camila’s Shred. Inversely however, Camila tracks Soak. This value is a percentage equal to Camila’s Blood Gauge, and reflects the Strength of attacks she is capable of Flex Defending; anything equivalent to that value of her base Strength or lower can be defended against with little effort, with anything larger simply ignoring this defense. As one can expect, as Shred goes up, Soak goes down.

There exists another function within this ability, occurring the moment Camila’s Blood Gauge reaches 0. Referred to as Blood Frenzy, this is a state where Camila is sent into a rampant, unstable state in hunt for her next kill. Her Ranks in Strength of Will immediately drop to 0, and her Blood Gauge begins filling at a rate of 20 per post, beginning on the post after Blood Frenzy is triggered. Blood Frenzy ends the moment that Camila’s Blood Gauge reaches 100 once again, and no sooner.

While Blood Frenzy is active, Camila’s Shred & Soak are locked at 100% and 0% respectively, turning her into a bit of a glass cannon, while also locking her out of any release techniques that do not call out the ability to use during Blood Frenzy. Each post that Blood Frenzy remains active, Camila is taxed an amount of reiatsu equal to 10% of her maximum, as is necessary in order to stave off the thirst while she recuperates from these effects.

Technique Name: 形状変化 - Keijō Henka (lit. 'Shape Change')

Release Type: Shikai / Bankai / Resurrección.

Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu (100 in Bankai) | 35 Blood Gauge (20 in Bankai) | Usable in Blood Frenzy (Bankai).

Description: By expending the reiatsu cost, Camila is capable of altering her shape to a number of different forms; a wolf, a cloud of mist, and a swarm of bats. Becoming a wolf will temporarily halt Camila's Blood Gauge changes and the Blood Frenzy state, while still granting Blood Gauge for successful attacks. A cloud of mist will allow Camila temporary immunity to physical attacks coming her way. A swarm of bats functions as a stepping technique, allowing Camila to move at 11x her Speed for a single step, allowing for these bats to bite those passed through along the way. These bats utilize Camila's Strength and Shred to bypass defenses, but these attacks are functionally bat bites; at most, a finger may be lost, but that's likely to be it aside from the hundreds of bat bites.

How to Use: Pour reiatsu through the body in order to alter one's shape.

Drawbacks: Becoming a wolf locks Camila out of her other techniques, both release and non-release. As a cloud of mist, Camila will take 100% more damage from Spiritual attacks, and can only maintain said form for a single post. No matter how many bats bite, this counts as one attack for the purposes of filling the Blood Gauge, and for durability.

{夜の抱擁 - Yoru no Hōyō (lit. 'Embrace of the Night')}

Technique Name: 夜の抱擁 - Yoru no Hōyō (lit. 'Embrace of the Night')

Release Type: Shikai / Bankai / Resurrección.

Technique Cost: 200 Reiatsu | 50 Blood Gauge (30 in Bankai).

Description: Upon making a successful strike to the neck with her claws, Camila can inject her own blood into those that become victim of her in order to provide that individual with a number of both benefits and detriments. Those that Camila injects are provided with a 25% increase to both Strength and Reiatsu Strength, taking some of her own capabilities in the process. This gift can be granted multiple times, providing up to a 100% (200% in Resurrección) increase to both statistics in the process. While providing this benefit to allies, Camila strips them of their own blood before providing them with her own, granting 2 Ranks in Bleeding Tolerance (increased to 3 in Bankai). These boosts last for 5 posts, with this duration refreshed upon additional application.

In terms of the penalties those with Camila's blood face, there are quite a number of them. For one, they become much more photosensitive with each gift, penalizing them with a 20% decrease to Instinct with each usage against bright or light-based attacks, like cero and other beams, and also resulting in the target taking 20% more damage from these attacks. Reiatsu costs will be increased by 15% as they maintain less control over the force of their own soul, and they'll also begin to feel Camila's own thirst for blood. One gift leaves them in a rather all right state, with each gift thereafter requiring one Rank in Strength of Will or Bleeding Tolerance, whichever is higher, in order to overcome this frenzied state of mind. Should one not have the requisite Ranks in either Skill, they'll be left with this hunger, turning on allies and enemies alike in order to feed. Because of this, Yoru no Hōyō serves as a phenomenal tool to forcibly embrace a number of civilians in order to fight those alongside Camila and cause general chaos. Nameless NPCs afflicted with these gifts will last for no more than two posts before eventually perishing outright from the high concentration of spirit energy coursing through their veins. Bankai increases this to four posts, and allows those that frenzy to pass this gift onto others with a successful bite to the neck. These benefits for all others last until the end of the thread.

In Bankai, Camila is given the opportunity to consume the essence of those she's granted this gift to, consuming their soul and reaping these benefits for herself with little penalty. By paying only the reiatsu cost as a part of a full-feeding, Camila can drain the target of the blood she'd granted them, leaving them as but a husk of what they once were while stealing the benefits of this technique from them, stealing the bonus to Strength and Reiatsu Strength, without any of the negatives. It is her blood, after all. Those in a Frenzied state while this portion of the technique is utilized on them will be left dead, but those currently in control of themselves will instead be left subject to the normal repercussions of Camila's feedings.

How to Use: Drain an ally or feign feeding on an enemy, then provide a gift of Camila's own blood. / Commit sin, and consume your own kin.

Drawbacks: Provided the damage that a full-feeding can do, this technique is inherently dangerous to utilize. Even with the drawbacks attached, injecting an enemy with Camila's own blood will grant rather noteworthy bonuses to them, making it more often not worth the reward from doing so. Stealing back her own blood in Bankai can only be done three posts after the most recent bestowal of this gift, as the blood needs time to remain in their system. Stealing back blood has a very real possibility to kill those involved, making it incredibly dangerous to perform on allies. Non-statted NPCs can only push Camila up to a 50% bonus, before she needs to begin relying on statted NPCs and RPCs.

[Nuala Byrne]

Bats. All over her face and neck. They bit, they clawed and they tore at her skin, injuring her even through her protective layer of soul dew, expertly avoiding her wreath of dragons as they flew past her. There was one big problem Nuala would be facing, here. She was out-sped by her opponent right from the get-go. She'd have to fix that.

In her soul, she started to tell a story. A story of khaos and void, sky and sea all being one. The secrets of that time and the power those secrets conveyed. Had she been hit? Touched by the attacks of her aggressive counterpart? Yes, yes. And it was quite painful, but Nuala would have to focus on other things, as well. So she spun a tale, and she told it to the air, with her soul. She sealed it with a kiss, and the secrets rolled outward from her. Khaos and void, sea and sky... they all became as one again. It was more difficult to control, but the air for a thousand feet in all directions suddenly felt heavier.

Step one, complete. She was in contact with the school of jellyfish that occupied her coral; mentally, she handed out instructions to the assembled fish. While she told her tale to the air, her hands worked with another task entirely. With both hands, crossing them over in rapidly weaving motions, she opened two capsules of vivid blue and orange fish flakes and dispersed them into the space behind herself. "This won't be easy at all; I'll have to get serious," she admitted. "That's the price of such a weak person as myself, being the only one nearby who can respond to a threat of your scale, even as disappointing as your ceros are."

The venom in her veins was abetting her spiritual power, which explained its heightened rampancy. Not a big deal, for now. Step two: no more neck and head injuries. A forest green squid emerged from the bend in space behind her, sliding over her neck and forming a cowl that would protect her anywhere the soul dew didn't also cover. She gestured at the two dragons that surrounded her, giving them leave to attack. They swarmed forward at 600 speed, but their presence was a ruse.

Shifting the power within herself to favor power over efficiency, she also opened the Gate within her spirit. Instantly, the raw power that poured off her was like a trickle compared to the flood waters that now stormed from within. She commanded her soul dew forward, opening four moons to produce a deluge of the substance. This part wasn't directly offensive, but she had hoped to catch Camila in the miracle liquid and soak it into her clothes.

{Waxing Flood-Tide}Technique Name: Waxing Flood-Tide

Technique Description and Effects: This technique is as insidious as it is simplistic. Inside a region centered on the user, 300 meters in diameter, air is significantly changed for the duration of 5 posts. Air in this region entertains the notion that as force increases, viscosity shifts toward a more solid state. Any body, physical or spiritual, that exerts force on or displaces air as its moves triggers this technique.

Inside the region, air takes on a distinctly "heavier" feel, as if occupants were wearing heavy blankets, but no more. Unless the Speed of a body in the region exceeds 600, this change imposes no penalties or restrictions on the region's occupants. However, when the Speed of a body inside the region does exceed 600, the air around that body thickens significantly. Projectiles lose flight path control as they struggle to push through the air, and characters burn stamina at double the normal rate. When the Speed of a body exceeds 2000, the air around that body begins to solidify. Projectiles are treated as though they hit a barrier of and were tunneling through sand, and characters suffer damage as though they had hit (or passed through) an equal amount of rocky soil as the distance they tried to cover. The further a character's Speed exceeds 2000, the more severe the injuries for moving become.

How to use technique: The user communicates with the air in a region, insinuating exciting new ideas into its identity until its physics begin to resemble shear thickening non-Newtonian fluids.

Technique Drawbacks: The technique does not distinguish between user, friend or foe. All occupants of the area are equally subject to its tyranny. Additionally, if Speeds are kept to 600 or less, the effects of this technique can effectively be ignored. When this technique is first set up, the air draws the extra energy it needs from the fullbringer's own body, tiring them as if they had performed one extra post of strenuous activities. Characters with the Soul Dominance technique may communicate with the air around them to learn about this change before they move.

Technique Description and Effects:
Willpower is a technique that is available to most who dwell within the human world, and has a variety of effects that make it a versatile and useful technique. This technique is one that manifests the willpower of the physical body. It essentially causes spirit and physical body to "become one" and merge their powers. There are two uses of it. The first is a non battle use, and is the main use. The main use is simply to know the technique, which slows the aging process of the body and allows the possessor to live easily as long as a Shinigami or Arrancar. This is a will-based technique, however, and thus, if will vanishes, so does its power to stop the aging, which quickly catches up. Mod Souls and Bounts have a minor version of this part at all times, which allows them to age slowly at all times; humans and Quincy learn this version at Class 1.

Willpower has three stages that are associated with it, as listed below:

[Stage One: Cog]: By giving up 100 Reiatsu, the user pumps an explosive amount of intimidating power out. Anyone of inferior class will immediately be intimidated. This does not mean they won't fight. Those who are weak enough in comparison will feel a huge, exaggerated surge of power that will probably make them surrender. This can also be used on Hollows to actually scare them away instead of having to kill them. This does NOT work on animals! It only works on "intelligent beings." This means unless it has a similar to human intelligence, this wont' work on an animal.

[Stage Two: Pulley]: This causes physical output to increase based on draining spiritual energy. It costs 400 reiatsu. When activated, it increases physical stats by 50%. However, it causes the skin to begin to blister from pumped out Reiatsu. Essentially, skin begins to burn. It's a quick burn. Within 5 posts, burning will start to become quite serious. On top of that, statistic gain is lost by the post, starting after the second post of this being active. After that time, 10% of the gain is lost every post. It can only be restored by sacrificing 150 Reiatsu per 10%.

[Stage Three: Gate]: This has no initial cost. Reiatsu strength and Spiritual pressure (but NOT Reiatsu amount) both double. From there, reiatsu output goes up, meaning that costs are also doubled for everything. On top of that, 100 reiatsu is lost per post until this is deactivated.

Drawback: See each individual stage. Atop that, when Willpower is learned, it comes with all three stages, but costs double the TTP to learn. Humans, Mod Souls, Quincy, and Bounts only.

[Camila Adaronde]

As she took the leap backward, taking the opportunity to create a bit of distance between the two, Camila took a deep breath, and couldn't help but smile. Bouncing about on her feet, she'd felt as though her hunger had been sated, for a time. She knew damned well that wasn't going to last, but her previous little feeding on Nuala's carotid had given her the little boost that she needed for the time!

Wasting no time in catching her breath, Camila listened to what the Fullbringer had to say for a moment, unable to do anything but smirk at the situation at hand. "Aww," she started, "honored you think so highly of me. Perhaps I show you what a 'threat of my scale' is capable of, aye?" As some sort of... squid wrapped itself around the Fullbringer, starting to provide some level of protection to her neck and head, Camila stared Nuala in the eyes for a moment, before uttering a few simple words. "Kill the mollusk."

To most folks, these words would've meant nothing. For Nuala? These were likely to reverberate through that skull of hers, looking to convince the Fullbringer in order to do exactly that. Would she listen? Or would she ignore the vampire's charm? It remained to be seen, but Camila had a course of action prepared for either of these outcomes, kicking into place shortly after those dragons were headed her way.

Vanishing from sight, and creating a bit of distance between both herself and Nuala, Camila disappeared through Shunpō and immediately found her back absolutely peppered with bruises, lashes, and general signs of damage. While it was nothing she couldn't deal with - and, especially power through with her own physical might - Camila felt like she'd just travelled through a brick wall. Well, a soft brick wall, but a wall nonetheless. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle.

"Fuck was that!?" She called out to the Fullbringer, noticing very quickly that her step had been a bit off-balance. Catching herself with ease, and holding herself up on a palm atop a nearby roof, Camila watched down toward the Fullbringer as whatever liquid she'd sought to use approached her. Even if those orbs of spirit juice had gotten on top of her, she'd play keep-away to the best of her abilities. Ultimately, it was up to seeing how Nuala had responded, but Camila did have one action she wanted to pull off after throwing herself onto her feet.

Holding out a finger, before condensing and immediately firing off a deep red laser toward the Fullbringer, Camila prefaced the attack with a fitting "Cero." She'd hoped to wipe the woman off the face of the planet as quickly as possible. But, was that something she'd be able to do without donning her Vizard Mask? That remained to be seen.

Technique Name: 微妙な影響 - Bimyōna Eikyō (lit. 'Subtle Influence')

Release Type: Shikai / Bankai / Resurrección.

Technique Cost: 100 Reiatsu | 15 Blood Gauge | Usable in Blood Frenzy (Bankai).

Description: Weaving reiatsu through the air or through an individual, Camila is capable of temporarily charming those she desires. While this charm is perfect compulsion toward unnamed individuals, RPCs are very capable of resisting Camila's beguiling abilities. By expending 50 reiatsu, +50 reiatsu for each attempt to charm, an RPC can immediately break the spell with no penalty to them. Unnamed NPCs that are enthralled via Yoru no Hōyō will be permanently placed under Camila's control with this technique, whereas RPCs and statted NPCs will have to pay double the cost to resist (stacking with Resurrección), or require a 4 in Strength of Will to automatically resist.

If an individual ends up charmed, they're subject to a single, short command from Camila, no more than one sentence in length. NPCs can be commanded through longer actions, but RPC commands must remain short and concise. Not only that, but these commands cannot be those that would be immediately detrimental to that individual. Someone can be told to stand still for a short moment, but cannot be told to hurt themselves or anything of the like. Commands in Shikai against RPCs last for one post. In Bankai, this can be a single moderately complex command, or two simple commands. Commands last for two posts. In Resurrección, the cost to resist this charm is doubled. Commands last for two posts.

How to Use: Weave reiatsu through a target after eye or physical contact, and compel them to take action.

Drawbacks: Costs are tripled when done through eye contact, with a range of 20/40/60 feet for Shikai, Bankai, and Resurrección respectively. Given eye contact, someone can just close their eyes upon figuring out the trigger. Those successfully charmed by this technique are made immediately aware that they were charmed, and by which method upon the effects fading. Can be successful once per target every five posts, attempted once per target every other post, and the target's cost to resist this charm is reset upon charming that individual. Strength of Will 3 or greater immediately repels this effect. A number of times equal to the Calm Mind Ranks that someone has, they can ignore the increase in cost to resist these charms.

[Nuala Byrne]

Camila instructed Nuala to kill the mollusk on her shoulders. Nuala took a few moments to consider the command and then shrugged. "If you insist," she agreed. Whether she was under the compulsion of the geas or simply agreeing with the command at her own discretion was anyone's guess. With one hand, she produced a piranha from the coral inventory behind her, while she prepared another capsule of spirit flakes with the other hand. Communicating with the jellies as the relay, she deposited both the squord and the piranha into the smaller of her two inventories: the jade fish bowl.

The vizard also stepped away from Nuala, putting distance between them and shouldering some serious pain. That had to hurt, but from the way the woman had formed her flash steps, Nuala reasoned it could have been worse. She demanded the fullbringer tell her what she'd done to the air. Nuala answered, "I told a little story to the atmosphere. We're friends now." She peppered the flakes into the fish bowl and the wreath behind her, smiling and humming to herself.

Her aura sense picked up on another cero in formation. She smirked, bolting up to the vizard woman under the power of her own soul dew, moving at 600 speed and crossing the distance between them in a second or less. She had brought all eight moons with her-- one to catch the cero harmlessly, sucking all of its reiatsu and substance into its lunar surface, and one to open up a deluge of soul dew onto Camila.

The other six? They spread out on the approach, headed fifty-five feet out from Camila's current position, and spread equidistantly (including up) so that no matter which direction she went, she'd be headed toward another moon. And though they did struggle to maintain the angle of approach, if Nuala ignored that tidbit, she could move each of them at 2000 speed to chase her down or cut off Camila's escape route. Each moon spread out a pall of dense fog within thirty feet of itself, effectively forming a ball of green clouds.

Moreover, though, she had as a matter of course exposed her neck to the vampire-like woman since she put away her forest squid and the piranha. Her midnight inventory produced another fish, on another telepathic command. Ursula the Cuttlefish, who knew exactly how to meddle with the situation. Nuala wrapped her in soul dew.

The cuttlefish with the oddly green eyes floated between Nuala and Camila, serving as an ancillary shield to replace the other mollusk she had been protecting herself with. "Not using your mask, vizard?" Nuala probed. "You might regret that." To drive her point home, she presented the palms of her hands outward at Camila and rapidly reshaped the soul dew that clung to her, forming a pair of blades that aimed for the other woman's shoulders, attempting to sever the problem at its source, shearing with 2500 strength, and lashing with 700 speed.

As Nuala made her jape about the atmosphere, Camila found herself scoffed. "Is that so?" She asked, following through with her desired motions and charging up a cero. Though, while that was her goal, it seemed that she wasn't exactly going to have the opportunity to unleash the blast. Not without Nuala quickly being on top of her location.

As the blast would've normally roared out in front of her, it seemed that it was harmlessly devoured by whatever these orbs floating around the Fullbringer were. Sure, it was damned frustrating to see happen, but what could she do about it? She didn't have much of an option but to deal with it head on, and provide her own options back toward Nuala. Beginning with an explosive flash of spiritual light, originating from directly in front of her. Given Nuala's heightened photosensitivity, she was going to be in a world of hurt, and Camila was to take every advantage over that she could.

The moment she was to be coated in this spirit juice, Camila's physical form immediately dispersed, spreading into the atmosphere as though she were mist and quickly reappearing behind Nuala in order to clear out the way. Much like before, the goal was to jam her fingers into the woman's neck as quick as she could. Given she was likely to be recovering from the physical and spiritual flashbang that had just occurred not a fraction of a second beforehand, the opportunity presented itself perfectly. Even if she had been hit by the stuff at this point, she wasn't going to pull her hand from the girl's neck without some force.

Though, this wasn't without an interesting little addition to her abilities; across her face the moment she reformed from mist, a mask had been in place. A mask very similar to that of a bat's skull, if said bat's ears were made from bone as well. With her claws currently in the girl's neck, one draining of more blood while the other injected her own in once more, Camila watched as another fucking mollusk seemed to manifest itself from nowhere. This was starting to grow annoying. At the very least, she outsped the thing for the time - thanks to her mask - but she had the sneaking suspicion that this was going to be similar to the last one.

This time forcefully ripping her fingers from the Human's neck, Camila took the opportunity to fall from the side of the building before the blades came down on her, putting a bit more distance between the two of them now thanks to the massive instinctual advantage she had over the girl. Her job had been done for the time being, but she still had one more step that needed to be taken before all hell broke loose - both for herself, and for Nuala. "Bankai! Shinketsu Sosen!"

As her words finished, and her reiatsu exploded outward, Camila had released her second stage of release against this rather frustrating opponent. Instead of the simple metal claws that coated her fingers, her forearms had now been decorated with a pair of gauntlets, with claws that remained just as vicious-looking as the last pair. While this was predominantly a strategy in order to prevent herself from going into a blood withdrawal too soon, she was more than prepared to force such an effect against the Fullbringer.

Landing on the ground with a backward flip, and finishing on her feet in an aggressive stance, she prepared for what was to come. "I wonder," she spoke, her voice ever so slightly muffed behind the mask, "just how in control of yourself are you, girl?" How much of the vampire's corruptive blood could the girl take? Would she be able to hold onto even a semblance of herself? Camila could not wait to find out.

{真血祖先 - Shinketsu Sosen (lit. ‘True Blood Ancestor’)}

Being Camila’s Bankai, Shinketsu Sosen serves as a natural extension of Camila’s vampiric abilities, looking to amplify their capabilities while adding on additional functionality in order to further expedite her killing capabilities. Upon entering Bankai for the first time in a thread (or after a rest, in longer-styled threads), Camila’s Blood Gauge is immediately set to 100, and any active Blood Frenzy is immediately ended. The cost for Bankai in this circumstance is paid in addition to the 10% tax that normally comes from Blood Frenzy. While in Bankai, Camila is unable to die from blood loss.

While Shinketsu Sosen is active, Camila’s thirst is partially sated at all times, providing a number of benefits to the girl. To start, certain techniques, as specified in those examples, will cost less Blood Gauge to utilize. Similarly, certain techniques will be opened for use during Blood Frenzy. Instead of only 5, Camila will gain 10 Blood Gauge points every post. Camila’s Shred & Soak are capable of scaling up to 150%, still functioning similarly based on the percentage of Camila's Blood Gauge. While in Blood Frenzy, Camila's Strength of Will and equivalents are only reduced by 2 Ranks instead. Lastly, the 10% reiatsu tax from Blood Frenzy is instead reduced to 5% per post.

[Nuala Byrne]

Nuala's head reeled. Her sensitivity to the aura had been assaulted, and it took her time to recover. Even while one partition of her mind dealt with that nightmare, another partition of her dealt with the next immediate threat. The headache was immediate, blinding, and distracting. She struggled with her boggling eyes, trying desperately to keep her soul dew wrapped around her. What a dirty trick. Nuala was happy to have come up against such a canny opponent.

Was Camila's memory playing tricks on her, or was it really Nuala whose neck her fingers had punctured through? If memory served correctly, it was the green-eyed cuttlefish and not the green-eyed fullbringer. "Fairly in control," Nuala answered, smiling knowingly despite the way her head spun. Her poor Ursula had chosen to take the attack on herself, breaking through the temporal shell around the situation and injecting herself directly into the timeline to intercept the attack. A brutal blow for such a small mollusk. It frenzied immediately, flailing uselessly against Nuala's side in attempts to lay in a lethal blow and feed. Had it not been for the dire circumstance, it would have been comical.

At her mental direction, the clouds crawled into a thickening shape, forming a huge, oblong shape that encapsulated both women. The walls were half an inch thick and crafted from solid crystal. Seething, Nuala let out a short sigh while she struggled to master the dizzying display of lights that still plagued her energy sense. "This is a rare honor, Camila," she admitted, still not quite managing to look at the vizard. "Consider yourself lucky." High-pitched, musical chiming heralded the shrinking of the capsule, boxing them into a line away from each other.

The necklace of prayer beads around her neck disappeared into liquid green light, and a bone white, draconic mask settled onto her face. A splay of black and white tentacles took hold of her body. Spikes of soul dew began to grow inward from the capsule, threatening to impale Camila from every angle. A blazing viridian eye opened in the center of her forehead. Though Nuala was still too disoriented to control it, Pale Lucidity was still in control of its faculties, and its powers.

Six gallons of soul dew flashed into place around the eye of Pale Lucidity. Reiatsu turned into power, and the eye began to track Camila's movements. Wherever her spirit would want to go, it could predict and compensate for the parallel physical movement.

Eight gallons of soul dew sublimated from the inner wall of the capsule, and a point of glaring, deep emerald green reiatsu flickered and swirled into existence, small arcs of lightning forming between the edges of the eye and the core of the orb. A tell-tale whine, coupled with a low growl emanated from the space in front of Nuala. "We've seen your cero," Nuala and the abomination said together, their voices dissonating against each other. "Now see ours."

For someone like Camila, it might have been easy to dodge, if Nuala hadn't been enforcing her position with the soul dew soaked into her clothes. The eye opted for a slow attack: 3750 Reiatsu Strength moving at the speed of a normal cero.

{Ojo Cero}Compressing and converting reiatsu and soul dew into dense energy, the mantle's eye charges a blast of reiatsu that strongly resembles a deep emerald green cero, accompanied by the tell-tale high whine and the deep growl of a true cero. By manipulating the exact make-up of this blast, the eye can control whether it is a heavy attack or a fast one; it moves at up to four times the speed of a cero at the host's Reiatsu Strength, and its speed may descend to as slow as a normal cero with twice the host's Reiatsu Strength. Unlike many cero, Ojo Cero has no explosive potential-- it functions as a precision burning, cutting beam or ball with an impressive range. Ojo Cero costs the eye 400 reiatsu and 8 gallons of soul dew to create.

[Camila Adaronde]

She couldn't believe it. Somehow, some way, she'd been trapped inside of one of Nuala's little prisons. As she'd fallen from the side of the building, unleashing her own Bankai, Nuala seemed to have been prepared. Encapsulating the Vizard within a crystalline prison, and positioning Camila in front of her. In most circumstances, and against most folks, this would've been the end. This would've been Camila's last moment, before fading into obscurity.

But, Camila was far from similar to 'most circumstances'.

Releasing another blinding flash of spiritual light from within her prison as her spiritual capabilities quickly charged, Camila immediately began to make her move as Nuala's mask had formed. Immediately thereafter, displaying an extreme ability to both think and move at an astounding pace, Camila's own blood burst forth from her body in mass. Two interconnected sets of blades released from inside the Soul Dew, one in front of her, and one behind, each with the newfound force to shatter the crystal in seconds. Some of her own skin had been poked, but this? It was nothing to her.

As the crystal cracked and crumbled, and as Nuala's own Cero had gone off, Camila had significantly outpaced the laser by becoming a swarm of bats once again. And, given Nuala had just fired off a laser of her own at point-blank range? That photosensitivity of hers was going to be quite the bitch. Not to mention, Camila had outpaced a Cero not moments before; the Fullbringer was likely going to need a miracle in order to have a way to react to the kind of Speed that Camila had been utilizing, forming back without any bites but instead launching an attack at that same quickness of 6600. Sure, she'd been peppered with injuries again from that damned air song, but she trucked it off.

BLOOD FRENZY

All of this happening in a flash, if she hadn't been able to clear out the way, Nuala was likely to be in the worst pain of her life. Jamming not two, but all five of the claws on her left hand into the Fullbringer's chest, Camila bared down. Given Nuala's below-average tolerance for pain, there was no way in hell that, if this had worked, she was going to be able to focus on anything but. The Vizard sunk her claws further into the woman's chest to exaggerate that point. Given her second mollusk had been in the process of a frenzy, there wasn't a chance of that animal saving her. Not this time.

Exhaling and pulling the woman's body closer back toward her, Camila decided to speak, taking advantage of the pain-addled woman's moment of 'peace'. "You think that's a Cero..?" She spoke raggedly, doing everything she could to hold even a shred of control over herself. As her words had come to a halt, an intense, radiating heat emitted itself from the palm that had been pushed up against the Fullbringer's back; a heat that came from inside of the woman's chest cavity, threatening to cook a little, and only adding to the excruciating feeling that Camila thrived off of.

"This... this is a Cero."

And with that, a blast magnitudes larger, and magnitudes more powerful than those she'd unleashed thus far emanated from the Fullbringer's chest, and threatening to eclipse the sunlight. Everything around them had been bathed in blood-red light. She'd let her own display of power get to her head, and in turn threatened to exhaust herself rather notably. If this somehow hadn't worked, she wasn't sure that continuing to fight was going to be an option. But, there was next to no room for failure here.

Technique Name: 血の魔術 - Chi no Majutsu (lit. 'Blood Sorcery')

Release Type: Shikai / Bankai / Resurrección.

Technique Cost: 50 Reiatsu | 10+ Blood Gauge (5+ in Bankai).

Description: Channeling her own vitality, Camila is able to conjure forth attacks and weapons from her own blood, utilizing it in unique and potentially powerful ways. Simple attacks utilize the base costs listed above, being bolts of blood, quick whips, and various other one-off strikes from a range. In Bankai, Camila is capable of conjuring forth weapons with this blood, utilizing her Skill in Weapons - Claws to wield and possessing a Durability equal to Camila's Strength, +20% per 5 Blood Gauge spent, capping at three times Camila's Strength. In Resurrección, these attacks can be superheated or flash-frozen, resulting in significant third-degree burns or immediate frostbite on the areas struck.

How to Use: Draw blood, and conjure forth the desired manifestation.

Drawbacks: Can get rather expensive for a basic attack ability. Weapons are still Classed, and are subject to the penalties of such. No more than three weapons can be created at a time, and these weapons must be melee in nature. Line-based attacks will strike at 800 Speed, whereas controlled attacks and floating weapons will strike at 600 Speed. Lasting weapons created that are not utilized in one-off attacks will instead cost 100 Reiatsu. Burns or frostbite are resisted with a 3 in the respective Tolerance Skill, and costs an additional 100 reiatsu to do per attack.

The end. That was it.

As the blood-red cero faded into the sky, Nuala's motionless body slumped against the ground, so much weak and useless chaff. Her soul dew, the moons, and the mantle of tentacles all vanished as all consciousness and any signs of life escaped her. If there was anything left that Camila wanted to do, now was the time. If one thing was certain, it was that this bump in the road was in the past.

A few last and pointless thoughts may have flooded through her mind, but like herself, they were entirely without worth mentioning. In the end, they would make no difference to the vizard's rampage. Ursula the Cuttlefish continued to flail uselessly against Nuala's body, unable to deal any significant damage and also doomed to an eventual death at Camila's leisure.

Maybe it was a good run, maybe it wasn't. The philosophies of thought and action were as ephemeral as the attempt. At the least, we can all assure ourselves that it was quick. Certainly not painless, but quick.

[Camila Adaronde]

As she withdrew her hand from the Fullbringer's chest, letting her slump over, Camila took a deep breath. Despite the fact that one of the most difficult, frustrating fights of her life thus far had just concluded, she still had a problem; she was seeing red. Eyes darted around, glancing over the destruction that had just been caused, looking to see what she could do - who she could hunt - in order to relieve this problem of hers. She needed something rather quickly, else this was going to only add to the list of growing frustrations.

Bolting over to a nearby straggler - some now-injured woman - thanks to her enhanced sensory capabilities, Camila gripped the woman by the throat, before digging her claws into her throat. Sucking up the woman's blood, and leaving behind a raisin of a corpse in her wake, the vampire took another deep breath. She'd been sated; for now, at least. Looking back toward the building she'd just been on, Camila squinted. Was certainly quite the engagement, she thought to herself, shame to leave 'er like that.

Clearing the distance back over toward the building, Camila held her hand out. As lashes of red reishi shot from her hand and into the ground, a corpse seemed to raise from the dirt. A shambling mess, sure, but enough to help this woman. As the two made their way back up to the top of the building, Camila began to take action where necessary. First, placing her claws back into the Fullbringer's neck, she gave the girl another gift of blood. Though, this wasn't quite the same that she'd used before. Instead, Nuala's own body had been drained of a bit of blood in the process; she'd been teetering on the line of unlife from that moment on.

Using her other free hand to drain the ghoul of its own blood to keep herself somewhat topped off, Camila proceeded to give Nuala another injection; one that left the vampire almost - but not completely - drained afterward. From there, she'd begin to scratch into the roof with her claws, leaving behind a message of sorts. Turning to the ghoul, Camila spoke. "Tend to 'er when she wakes. She'll be weak for a bit; make sure she lives." With an approving grunt from the beast, Camila gently tapped the air in front of her, causing the air to shift and open up; Garganta had been revealed. Stepping inside, and letting the air close behind her, she was off.

Around an hour or so later, Nuala was likely to regain consciousness. Camila had made sure that, at the very least, the Fullbringer's wounds were stabilized by gifting her some of her own healing potential. They'd be recovered from in time, but given it was foreign blood? It was hard to say how long that was going to take. In front of where she rest, a quick message scribbled out in the roof. Enough to get the point across, and leaving little to the imagination about whom had left the note for her.

"Room 1B-40A at the Nisemono Apartment Complexes. Stop by some time."

{闇の輪廻 - Yami no Rin'ne (lit. 'Cycle of Darkness')}

Technique Name: 闇の輪廻 - Yami no Rin'ne (lit. 'Cycle of Darkness')

Release Type: Bankai / Resurrección.

Technique Cost: 250 Reiatsu | 50 Blood Gauge.

Description: Utilizing her own blood to provide a source of vitality, and reiatsu to provide an explosive 'jump-start' to a once-dead soul, Yami no Rin'ne rips a being back from undeath to provide them with a breath of life once again. Bringing forth a situationally-appropriate ghoul, this creature possesses its own 'stat block', as described in the blow spoiler. This ghoul possesses a durability equal to three times its Strength stat, and possesses a specific version of one of Camila's release techniques. Alternatively, those that have been ghoulified via the Resurrección technique Hōketsu Suru are eligible targets for this ability, as described in that technique.

To start, this ghoul retains its own Blood Gauge, ticking at the same rate as Camila's and filling under the same circumstances, but does not have Shred or Soak. Instead, this serves as a "pool" for Camila to draw upon to drain the ghoul. By full-feeding on this Ghoul, Camila is capable of drawing any amount of this Blood Gauge into her own, dropping the Ghoul's durability by 100 for every 10 points drained.

This ghoul possesses a variation of Camila's Yoru no Hōyō technique, allowing for the embracing of those Camila deems appropriate, and is a valid target for this technique as well, though this ghoul cannot target Camila. Instead of spending reiatsu however, this ghoul must pay the full cost in Blood Gauge instead. Other than that, this technique functions as normal. In Resurrección, this Ghoul's Blood Gauge costs are halved, and Camila gains twice as much Blood Gauge that she steals from this ghoul.

How to Use: Call forth a being of unlife to fight alongside the user.

Drawbacks: Relatively expensive, and only one can be created at any given time. This ghoul has no Class, meaning all attacks will damage its durability; multi-hit techniques will only subtract durability for that single technique, and not for each individual hit. Its uses are immediately undermined if someone focuses the ghoul instead of Camila, requiring the creation of a new one. Yami no Rin'ne cannot be used within three posts of its last activation, requiring a period of cooldown if someone destroys the ghoul before that timer expires.

{悪の憲法 - Aku no Kenpō (lit. 'Evil Constitution')}

Technique Name: 悪の憲法 - Aku no Kenpō (lit. 'Evil Constitution')

Release Type: Bankai / Resurrección.

Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu | 10+ Blood Gauge | Usable in Blood Frenzy.

Description: Similar to Seishin Wakagaeri, Aku no Kenpō works to reconstitute Camila's body after suffering substantial injury. Depending on how much Blood Gauge is spent after the initial activation cost, certain wounds will be healed from within a short span of time, much like High-Speed Regeneration, as detailed below. Each stage of expenditure also heals everything in the lesser costs at no additional price. In Resurrección, these Blood Gauge costs are halved.

10 Blood Gauge: A minuscule amount of stamina is restored, covering what this technique would normally tax the Vizard. Miniscule wounds and bruises are closed up across the body.

20 Blood Gauge: Most bruising is healed, and low-capability substances are purged from the body (Class 6 and below).

30 Blood Gauge: Larger cuts and all bruising is healed. First-degree burns are recovered, and left with minimal scarring.

40 Blood Gauge: Hairline fractures are fused back together, and dislocated limbs are set. Mid-capability substances are purged from the body (Class 4 and below).

50 Blood Gauge: Deeper lacerations and second-degree burns are recovered from, with no scarring.

60 Blood Gauge: All broken bones are fused back together and set properly, with missing portions being regrown as necessary. High-capability substances are purged from the body (Class 2 and below).

70 Blood Gauge: All external damage and "thirst"-degree burns are recovered from. External organs (eyes, ears, nose, etc.) are healed to their fullest.

80 Blood Gauge: Amputated limbs, digits, and other missing appendages are restored to their fullest potential. Penultimate-capability substances are purged from the body (Class 1 and below).

90 Blood Gauge: Fourth-degree burns, and all internal damage sans injuries to the heart or brain are restored.

How to Use: Hold for a moment, and concentrate necrotic energies through the body.

Drawbacks: Aku no Kenpō takes a moment to activate, and requires focus to utilize, leaving the user vulnerable during the duration and providing an opening for those in question, and potentially making this technique useless. Similarly, this technique flexes the user's spiritual presence, making them very easily detectable by those within a half-mile radius. Given healing scales off of the additional amount of Blood Gauge invested after the initial cost, the highest form(s) of healing will automatically place Camila into Blood Frenzy. Amount that can be healed is limited without expending reiatsu. Cannot heal wounds that are immediately lethal, like heart or brain injury. Does not recover stamina, beyond the initial cost of the technique.
