Power surged across the Forest of Menos, rippling through the myriad gigantic quartz trees that dotted that seemingly endless landscape. Like moths drawn to a flame, a large Nobody could be as foolish as to draw attention in such a way if they were trying to sneak through the Forest of Menos unnoticed by the many Gillian and the occasional Adjuchas that called this strange area 'home'. Unless, of course, you were not trying to be any subtle about it. Caballero had only found themselves there after the Guantelete had ended, and back then, they had been wandering that place so as to hurt as few people as possible. Now, however, things had changed. The tiny Hollow could feel incredible power surging within him. A power that, for better or worse, they had completely under control: the power of thousands of souls, compounded between their own consumptions and their victims', all theirs to command, completely subject to their will. Why, it barely even felt that said part of said power had belonged to their brethren in the first place, and even that sliver of a feeling was vanishing quickly.

Thus stood the incredibly short Adjuchas, barely above three foot tall, with an incredibly similar appearance to their Stay body. The only real difference was the jagged horns that had taken the place of the rounder ones they had before at both sides of its helmet-like mask, giving them a more menacing appearance. After being at the mercy of that vortex of rage, hatred and hunger, unable to even move their body and forced to watch as they nearly slaughtered an officer of the Gotei 13, Caballero felt a pressing need to make it up to their comrades in Soul Society, even if they would undoubtedly want to kill them on sight--they were a Hollow, not a Shinigami, after all.

And how would they make it up to them? By lowering the threat level posed by Hueco Mundo as much as they could on their own. By flaring their Reiatsu out into the Forest at a much lower level than what they could truly muster, Caballero sought to draw as many of their Menos kin to their position as they could to put an end to all their lives, ensuring that they would never turn against the Shinigami or become a menace to Karakura Town. They knew how much power they themselves had gained; there was no reason to believe that those monsters would not become just as strong, if not stronger. They needed to do something about it. They would not have a repeat of what had happened in that school. Not ever again.

It did not take long for the first group of Gillian to appear, sauntering toward them with their mouths slightly open, some of them drooling. No less than 4 Menos Grande, gigantic in comparison, but a size difference did not really mean much. Not anymore. Numbers might have... had they not been so hopelessly outclassed. While they made their way to Caballero's position, the tiny knight created Filo out of their body, then swung it to the side in challenge. Not that they deserved any honor, but they were not doing it for their opponents. With that gesture, Caballero was proving to themselves that they truly were in control. It was their decision to do this, their decision to kill those creatures, their decision to act in Soul Society's best interests.

Even if they were one of the beasts that Shinigami were meant to kill.

The little, but not so powerless bean rushed straight toward the four Menos Grande, tucking their blade at their side as they ran. The Gillian seemed to take note, and one of them--perhaps the most developed one--recognized the threat, opening its mouth to prepare for a Cero. However, the creature was too slow, and Cero was not quick to charge either. Caballero found their new body responding unbelievably well to their commands. It was almost as if the world moved in slow motion around them, and they could see it by the way those Gillian stopped and turned, as if they were unable to see them due to the sheer difference in speed. What was more, Caballero hadn't even used a step technique!

The Cero was fired, but the explosion didn't even touch them. Caballero took the chance and got to the base of the mountain that was the Gillian. They leapt forward, splitting Filo in two and setting them in a cross-like stance that they only released with a double cut once they got close enough to strike. The result was nigh instantaneous, as the towering monster was bisected with ease, courtesy of the amount of power put behind that Filo--and that was without even focusing their incredibly dense Reiatsu before making it. Caballero lost no time in marveling at their newfound power. With Tendón, they quickly nabbed and consumed a chunk of the Gillian before the rest of it began dissipating into Reishi. They needn't take the whole thing to gain strength, and the rest would serve as bait for more Hollows to come.

However, they were not done, not by a long shot. Using Tendón again, they propelled themselves forward by grappling onto a nearby quartz tree, then shot themselves via the Reiatsu Strength that powered their ability due to their bizarre physiology. The next Gillian barely had had any time to process what was going on before it could turn toward the power that its senses were undoubtedly capturing, but its body could not react fast enough to intercept. By joining Filo into one again, Caballero cleaved through the creature's mask with a single downward strike, delivering an effectively lethal blow to the monster. Using its falling corpse as a stepping stone--not without taking a chunk of its flesh, too--, the incredibly light Adjuchas flew off toward the next monster, who was preparing a Cero that would reach in time.

The little bean did not falter, and instead prepared their sword by putting it forward and separating it again. When the monster fired the attack, Caballero was more than ready, using Filo to intercept and downright cut through the blast on an X shape, sending four splinters that exploded around the Forest, tearing down a few quartz trees and causing an even bigger commotion. Good. That would draw more like them. More pests whose population needed some control. Caballero fell upon the beast that had just attacked, landing on its pointy nose, and then delivered a swift yet elegant succession of strikes that also made short work of the monster's mask.

By this point in time, it was clear that Filo would turn any of those Gillian into mincemeat, and so the other one turned tail to run away, fully realizing the tiny creature's deception. However, it could not escape the Adjuchas, who, after eating its fill from the other Gillian, turned its full attention onto it. Its fate would be the exact same: to fall prey to Caballero's sword technique, unseen before in many Hollows that had not broken their masks to become Arrancar. Once again, this Menos Grande would be summarily executed, like the rest of its group. Once again, Caballero would take in the souls within, so that their strength could help in their quest instead of mindlessly rampaging within Hueco Mundo or the world of the living.

There may have been a time before where Caballero was indefense, unable to do anything worth noting. They had had help to fight their foes, and they had ran away from those they could not beat. However, that was about to change. Things would not stay the same way anymore.

With the vanishing corpses turning into flickering Reishi particles that floated away, undoubtedly drawing Hollows and demi-Hollows alike, Caballero patiently waited. They had far more gas in their tank than ever before, and barely felt tired by the sudden exercise of their newfound strength. More Menos would show up. Perhaps Arrancar like the ones they had met in the Guantelete would, as well.

[Colina Conejita]

As the wind and roars of many Menos Grande blew through the emptiness of the Menos forest below her, Colina faded into existence inside the hollow core of one of the massive trees that stretched wide and tall all the way to the ceiling of sand above. She had been resting from her last excursion she had taken to the human world, reminiscing about the blood and souls she got to consume while she fed on the hapless fools who got in the way of her gaping maw. All those children and hollows and the occasional Quincy were all just beautiful morsels now welled within her being. But then something crossed her memories like an annoying little thorn that poked at her. The tiny little hollow holding a blade towards her and denied it's very nature. She wondered where they might be now.

Like a shot in the dark, a cero fired into the side of the tree next to the one she currently called her resting spot. Colina shot up from her resting position, having coiled previously into a ball around herself like an animal to conserve heat. With her large, bulky legs made of what seemed to be powerful muscle, she bounded towards the opening in the quartz tree and peered out into the unknown. She looked around before finally her eyes fell upon the cause of the massive disruption. The little bastard she was thinking about, atleast his energy signature, was evident to her. And he was pissing off the nearby Menos Grande. But he was doing more than that, he was killing and eating them. 

"So the little man finally got around to accepting his nature. Interesting... Time to see what I can do to help him along." Colina giggled slightly as she leapt upwards and outwards from her little hidey hole. She launched primarily at another tree and slammed her fist into the trunk of her objective. She made a good grappling spot for holding herself steady while surveying her surroundings, clinging to the innards of the quartz tree while scanning for powerful energy signatures. It didn't take long for three Menos Grande to start gathering towards the little hollow knight given all the damage to the forest he was causing by proxy. Colina licked her lips at the thought of consuming the lot of them, and she intended to do so with her eager stomach growling.

Colina released her grip and began to fall, plummeting quickly down the side of the quartz tree as she focused on the group of three Menos Grande that were lumbering towards their intended target. Her large bunny ears from her mask did not billow or fold in the rushing air that flowed over her as she descended. Instead, they remained as if stone, the Hierro not giving to the powerful air flowing around her. While descending, Colina tucked her large legs inwards and pointed the flat and large feet towards the quartz tree behind her, focusing her eyes on the first Menos Grande that was approaching. It turned to face her and roared, but it moved to slow. Much too slow if you asked Colina.

Colina released the tension in her legs, thrusting them backwards and slamming her feet into the quartz tree with such strength that the 'bark' of the tree gave way, cracking like a massive stone and crumbling in on itself. The quartz tree was left with a massive hole as it's stone pieces fell to the floor of the Menos Forest below her. Colina on the other hand launched quickly forth and into the mask of the Menos Grande, her claws tearing through the mask and into the black flesh behind it. As she tore through it's insides, she moved her body to begin chewing downwards and into the very depths of the black cloaked body. Colina continued until the Menos dissipated entirely and it's allies turned their attention to their fallen comrade.

Colina finished with her meal by flipping through the dissipating corpse with a flip and landing on all fours, staring directly up at the two prey that stood in ominous poses. Their masks opened wide and began gleaming red. The gathering of spiritual energy for a cero was so boringly predictable that Colina visibly rolled her eyes. To feed on these massive monsters was nothing but child's play for someone like Colina at this point. Her dash to the right and up ten feet the nearest tree was too fast for them to even begin moving to intercept with their blasts. The strength with which Colina next launched off of said quartz tree was a feat of great might, while it was a simple jump for Colina. And when she tore into the side of the next Menos Grande, they certainly thought of this as a terribly great wound upon their body. This, Colina would agree, was certainly a great wound.

When Colina tore into the side of the Menos Grande, his black cloak was stained with bright red, pooling and spilling out of the wound. The ground was certainly stained with it, Colina's claws having torn through while leaping past the Menos Grande. She examined her right claw, itself also stained with the blood of the giant, before she flicked it clean of the disgraceful blood. Colina's other claw burrowed into the quartz tree like the one before, creating a hand hold for her to take a moment to examine where she had landed. She was now about mid height with the giants and stared up at the faces of the plain Menos Grande. No originality was in their faces and it was certainly disappointing. They would not become more than they were and thus were not worthy of being left alive.

Colina took advantage of the moment at hand and once again launched herself upwards from the quartz tree, her feet creating another crater and allowing more stone pieces to fall to the ground floor of this forest she called home along with her victims. They would come to fear her, if they even knew what fear was. Honestly, Colina wondered if these things even had any original thoughts to begin with. Their plain masks certainly argued against this possibility. As Colina continued her ascent, she ready her claws to tear into the flesh of their body. Her entry point was actually just beneath the cero, skimming just beneath it. She felt the heat of the energy as the Menos was still gathering it's energy to attack. She buried deep into the flesh of it's body just a moment later, her claws tearing into the flesh and leaving the Menos roaring in pain for it's last few moments of existence. She emerged on top of it's head, stopping at about her waist, looking as if she was poking out of another hidey hole.

As it began to dissipate beneath her, Colina ducked inside of the head of the Gillian. She had seen the rush of red energy charging at her and decided it be best to hide within the disappearing flesh around her. She heard the energy as it went passed and felt the rush of hot air follow her into the hole of blackened flesh around her. When it was finally finished, Colina growled and pulled herself further free as the carcass fell to the ground and continued to disappear. 'My meal was ruined... I was having...' Colina thought to herself as she pulled herself further free and shouted out loud as she broke out into free air, "FUN!!!!!" The anger in her voice reverberated in the air, the force from the air coming from her lungs seeming to shake the area around her. Colina rushed at the Gillian who had fired a cero at her and leapt with her full strength up and into the gut of the Menos. Her claws tore furiously at the cloak and flesh. The viscera flew freely as she finished her roaring target. She gleefully smiled at the idea that the roars were full of pain.

When Colina finally finished eating her three Gillians she, covered in the blood and viscera of her meal, approached Caballero with a chipper attitude and a gleeful inner smile. She waved happily at the little hollow and took note of his new horns. "Well, you seem to have grown much little one. How do you like finally being a frenzily feeding hollow? I promise, it's tons of fun." Colina was so happy, she barely noticed the blade in the little hollow's hands and seemed to be approaching in a much more friendly manner than she did the Gillian food she enjoyed just moments before.

Caballero turned toward the pack of Menos Grande that were coming their way, surely attracted by the ruckus of battle. Whether they were planning to hunt them down or just try to feed from scraps leftover from the battle like the mindless vultures that they were, they cared not about one bit. The Adjuchas was more than ready to decapitate, bisect, and chop every single one of them to a million pieces, the hatred they had learned to feel toward their kin augmented by that irrational, incredibly aggressive disposition that they naturally felt toward them, as if it was their calling to slaughter every single one of them. The tiny being brandished Filo, splitting it in two again, and fell into their own battle stance that mimicked Captain Kimiko Nakajima from the Eleventh. Part of her style had been engraved into their Saber Filo skill, after the two of them had fought against the Hollow designated as 'Rider'.

Before they could plunge into battle once again, however, the sight of a rabbit-like Hollow made Caballero freeze on the spot. It was a completely different creature from those Gillian, meaning it would have to be at least in the same step of the Menos evolutionary chain. However, they did not stop right in their tracks because the Hollow that had just appeared was an Adjuchas. Oh, Caballero was more than ready to deal with any plain-old Adjuchas that lived in the Forest of Menos. It was because it was a familiar one, someone--no, something--that they knew. She threw herself into battle with gleeful delight, completely obliterating the creatures just as Caballero had done with their own pack.

The knight watched as she destroyed the other Menos Grande with the same agility, if not grace, with which she had slaughtered the people and Hollows inside that public school in Karakura Town, back when they had just been one powerless Stray... which, coincidentally, was not that long ago. Watching that spectacle, they felt something surging in their stomach--or the place where their stomach would've been, since they had no organs to speak of--as they recalled the day where so many people had lost their lives because of how powerless they were. Their grip on both Filo tightened; they needed something to pour that frustration into, and that something happened to come into view. In the near distance, a myriad of towering Gillian had been drawn in by the carnage, coming in different groups with different frequencies. However, they were not alone. Some Adjuchas also led the charge, herding their hosts of lesser Menos to overtake the growing threat in the middle of the Forest.

Caballero welcomed those monsters, for now they had a way to vent. The little knight would take the first three of those Adjuchas, who at least seemed to ignore them because of their smaller size, perhaps mistaking them for a Stray. They wanted Colina, the obvious Adjuchas, the one that would certainly bring the most nourishment for them. And that was their first mistake. The tiny Hollow quickly moved to intercept them, their feet tapping on rock and sand and taking them to the monsters in an instant.

The first one never knew what hit it. It was, of course, its fault for not pay attention to the other threat that was in the area. Caballero completely flew under the radar--literally, as they passed under the Hollow right at the moment of its step-- and quickly delivered one strike with an advancing step, then hopped off to deliver a second one. Two bulky limbs were severed in succession with one cut of each of the blades, suddenly eliminating all means the monster had to step forward. This sent the first Adjuchas skidding onto the sand with a loud crunch and a splatter of blood. Not content with that, the Hollow hunter pivoted on their feet and dug Filo on the ground for a moment to turn quickly, not canceling their momentum but leveraging it to launch themselves back into the fray. Caballero flew, their mind at complete ease as they did what they did best and focused entirely on the battle. They still felt good, great, better than ever. As if their entire being cried out in satisfaction, Caballero ended the life of the monster by delivering a cross slash onto its mask.

Not even bothering to stop, their bizarre body caught and immediately assimilated a chunk of its flesh into the pitch-blackness of its form, empowering them. The meat was broken down into blue slivers and strands of Reishi and immediately assimilated into the black mass, which didn't grow in size or change in any meaningful way other than, perhaps, becoming just slightly denser. Good thing that Caballero's body worked this way, because they had no intention to debase themselves eating like their kin.

One of the Adjuchas charged at them, at that moment, slithering to try to eat them in one bite once, twice, and then a third time. Its mouth was huge, no doubt owing to the snake-like appearance that it sported. It was fast, fast enough to make Caballero actually put an effort speed-wise, although still not enough to put a stopper on the tiny creature. Caballero side-stepped the first two lunges, which caught only air and sand, and baited the third one with a half-backstep that made the monster believe it had gotten them, but that only ended up in Caballero jumping straight into the monster's huge mouth and cleanly slicing its way out of it through the back with those strange, but deadly blades of theirs. Again, Caballero's body fed directly from the slain creature as it passed through the folds of flesh they had just opened, and then they landed back onto the sand, perhaps a little slimy from what little drool they'd been unfortunate enough to touch.

Just as that was done, and without giving the tiny creature any quarter, the last one launched themselves toward the tiny Hollow with as much strength as they could muster, mouth completely open, even if it wasn't nearly as large as the snake-like creature's. It was, however, fully intent on snapping Caballero in two with its powerful jaws instead of swallowing it alone, no doubt having decided that this peculiar, sword-wielding Adjuchas was a threat to its life worth consuming, small size be damned.

At the very least, it was learning. If you wanted to eat something, make sure to chew first. Baleful, titanium-hard teeth gleamed under the everpresent moonlight of Hueco Mundo, about to close around Caballero to snap their body in two. This would make them a prime snack for consumption, and hopefully take care of those pesky swords. However, before it could fully clench its teeth together, the Hollow knight had half-turned toward the Adjuchas. Had they had any traditional eyes, they would've sported a look so cold that it would've sent a chill down their attacker's spine: the last chill they would ever feel.

In an instant, the knightly Adjuchas fused Filo back into one and delivered a turning, upwards strike with only one hand, as the monster finally snapped its jaws in an attempt to kill them. The Reiatsu Strength that powered Filo resonated with the attack, and in that same second, the previously threatening Adjuchas had been split in two, bisected all the way from head to the lower part of the snake-like Hollow's body. For a moment, the beast's momentum was halted, and then its body finally fell apart.

A rain of blood poured down after the Adjuchas's corpse fell to the rock and sand that made the ground for the Forest of Menos. Caballero didn't even twitch as the red liquid stained mask, rags and their black body, which consumed it not without a certain measure of distaste. Doing that would prevent the monster from getting back up again to cause more havoc, as well as fuel up Caballero's power so that they could continue slaughtering those monsters that deserved nothing better. Normally, Caballero would've continued to fight, but they now had more pressing concerns. They turned to attention to what would undoubtedly be the main event that day, if she had come to collect after they had grown more powerful, and thus a better fight.

They were quite surprised to see the rabbit-like Hollow wave to them... amicably. For a moment, Caballero's friendly, more civil disposition won against the urge to eliminate all Hollow threats in the area, even if it took them a few lifetimes to do so. They did not drop their guard, not by a long shot, but they still did not attack directly. Instead, they quietly regarded her as she came closer. Even if she had had any ill-intentions, it would have been very difficult for her to fool Caballero. She greeted them, and made a comment about how they had grown... and then they reminded them of a particular truth that weighed heavily on them.

"How do you like finally being a frenzily feeding hollow? I promise, it's tons of fun."

How did they like it? How did they like it?! They hated it. With every fiber of their Soul King damned being. They were Hollow, yes, and yet Caballero rejected their very nature, their very existence. Fun? Was it any fun to kill? Was it any fun to snuff out a life? No, it was not. At some level, they knew that killing those Hollows was hypocritical of them. But they had to feed, they had to grow stronger. They would not stoop down to the same level as those monsters. They were not like them; like her.

At that moment, the creature swung Filo with as much speed as they could muster. The strike was not aimed at the rabbit-like Hollow, however. Instead, the incredibly destructive blade had left a scar alongside the ground, creating a horizontal line that separated the two of them. If Colina's memory was any good, she would most likely remember that this was the exact same thing she had done when she had warned them not to chase her as she continued to feed in the school. However, she had not eaten any more humans after that. Not that Caballero had seen, at least. She had spared their life, and that of those children... that the wendigo-like Hollow had then mercilessly slaughtered.

That crime, however, was not on Colina. It would have been completely unfair for Caballero to put that blame on her, no matter how much they despised Hollowkind. By creating that divide, they had drawn a line between them that should not be breached. By not attacking, they hoped to show their good faith. There would be other times to bring her to justice for those lives she had taken. This time, it was about thanking her for those she had chosen not to. And, if she wanted to continue hunting down more Menos with them, it would not hurt to have someone to fight that battle alongside them. After all, she enjoyed feeding, didn't she?

Caballero pointed their blade toward the myriad Gillian and the occassional Adjuchas that were all heading in their direction. They were effectively surrounded, but this was clearly more of a case of those Hollows being stuck in the same area as they were. The little knight then looked at Colina, and tilted their head in the same direction as their sword, as if telling her to join them. If she wanted to hunt, then at least they would put that impulse to good use. In any case, they would take the lead, and she would be more than welcome to join them, provided she helped them get rid of that infestation.

The little knight took on two lagging Menos Grande, who had undoubtedly thought better--or at least, their instincts had--after witnessing those Adjuchas leading the charge be all but slaughtered by that tiny figure clad in rags. Too little too late, unfortunately.
Since no air-ground was available in Hueco Mundo and they did not have the knowledge to conjure one up momentarily, Caballero would try a different tactic to deal with those Menos Grande, one that they had already tried before against the likes of Rider, and that had even proven somewhat effective with Celes Shindazu.

They first used their superhuman speed to get in full range of their powerless Tendón, which would not restrain an opponent in any way. It was, however, a pretty fun way for them to take to the skies, even more so when their foes were so large in size. Caballero used Tendón to grapple onto one of the Gillian's body, then pulled on themselves, fully confident that the monster could take it given how practically weightless they were.

The creature turned as Caballero also followed suit, only for the little being to suddenly close the distance the moment the creature attempted to charge a Cero. They didn't head straight for the mask, but instead went for where the nape would've been. Not that it mattered much, as Filo was not some paltry excuse for a blade that could barely cut some centimeters into the flesh of those monsters. No, the strike, added the momentum, severed the Gillian's head and sent it flying, the half-charged Cero dissipating into nothingness. Tendón took with it a chunk of the already disintegrating flesh, also incorporating it into Caballero's black body.

Caballero used that move to fly toward the second one, splitting Filo in two and shooting forth another powerless Tendón... which extended an arm holding one of the weapons. Filo rammed straight into the Gillian's mask, biting into the creature's body like an incredibly painful needle given the size difference. That moment of blindness, of being halted by the recoil of pain, gave Caballero the opening they needed to land onto the Gillian's face, rip the lodged sword out of its body, and deliver two horizontal cuts, then two vertical cuts. The Hollow's head was split into chunks, and the towering Gillian's figure crashed onto the nearby ground, with the little knight on top. They took in the monster's power as well, strengthening even further.

Even when adding more souls to the furnace that they were, the Adjuchas still felt in control. If anything, the myriad voices of those rabid Hollows were nothing but a far cry from the torment they had had to endure before, and each Menos they ate only lessened that pain even further. Caballero would then turn toward Colina, waiting for more of that horde to collapse onto them, fully aware that this was quite the risky endeavor.

They wanted to make sure she understood they were not helpless prey anymore... and they would never be again.

Colina, approaching towards the little hollow, stopped abruptly as the little black knight in a white mask with horns swung its blade against the ground. Its strike buried through the hard stone and sand, marking a single straight line before itself and making it clear to Colina what they had done. 'They're doing exactly what I did...? Cute.' Colina thought to herself as she stood still, her predatory eyes watching the little knight's movements carefully to see what they might do next. Her claws flexed slightly as she thought to herself that he might be strong enough now to consume. He was certainly making it clear that he was stronger, or at least more confident in their skill, to Colina. And Colina had made a note to herself that she would consume him when he was more worthy of the challenge of the meal. But as she had that thought a more sinister presence made itself known to her, it's energy bursting from the source like a whirlwind of power blowing through the area.

Colina witnessed Caballero take off into the horde before turning about and witnessing the amassing horde surrounding the pair, but after that she lost sight of him. She could feel him zipping towards one of the Gillian, but lost focus on him as she got on all fours and reared herself to pounce to the next big target she focused on. In front of one large group of Adjuchas was a singular figure that stood tall. They were a broad shouldered and powerful looking Adjuchas, small, clawed fingers for hands, white fins on each arm, and a hammerhead shark shaped mask. They lumbered forward with a weight that said they had muscle mass that rivaled Colina's and swayed with a swagger that spoke to their position in the group of Adjuchas. 

"Bow down and I'll permit you to leave. We want the little one for a prize." They spoke with a deep, scratchy voice and even seemed calm in their manner. But a smile broke on their tone as they chuckled and said, "That toothpick of a blade will make a good back scratcher when we're done with him." Colina's ears twitched at this, and she stood back up on her legs, cracked her neck, and spoke one word. "No."

With a sudden speed and savage strength, she whisked passed the lumbering Adjuchas and grabbed what looked like his second in command by the throat. This Adjucha had almost worm-like ridges all over their body and a simple oval mask over their face. As she gripped his neck and began to squeeze, her claws burying into them, she felt his hands grab at her wrist and pitifully attempt to pull her loose of him. She simply swung him harshly into the next of the group and took stock of them as she did. There were five of them total, all of them pretty much a grouping of weak nothings who honestly were just hiding under the umbrella of their leader's power.

When Colina slammed her prey into another Adjuchas in the group, she felt something snap, and his body grow limp. But he was still gurgling, trying to say something, which seemed to only grow Colina's rage. It burst like a flame inside of her. These fools were going to go after her prey? They were going to take from her quarry? Colina launched herself into the air, leaving the ground by fifty feet while holding onto the little worm of an Adjuchas. She released him at the point in the air that they lost inertia and began to almost float in the air. He looked at her, pitifully trying to ascertain as to what happened. And then it was over before he even knew what was happening. Colina slashed into his body with her claws, tearing both limbs from his humanoid body and then leaned forward quickly. Her teeth tore into his neck and torn into the soul of the creature.

When they both crashed to the ground, Colina was crouched and finishing her meal, her collision with the ground kicking up a dust cloud of sand and dirt. Anyone without energy sensory would have lost track of her in the haze, which felt good for Colina in this moment. Colina turned on the next target, pinpointing the one she had already smashed with her last target. She clawed against the ground as she tore off towards them, leaving large rakes in the stone floor and kicking up more sand into the air. When she reached her target, she leapt up into their face, lifting her left claw up and into a slashing attack. She felt the claws connect with the upper body, tearing into flesh and leaving gaping wounds. The cry of the Adjucha was almost pleasing to her ears as she attacked, causing Colina to lick her lips in anticipation for the meal to come.

As Colina finished her attack, her inertia kept her moving forward and slamming into the Adjucha. Colina followed up with her attack by latching onto the front of the Adjucha's body, pinning him against the ground from having been toppled by Colina's body crashing into them. As Colina toppled them over she buried her face into their neck, tearing into the muscle and sinew with ease and continued chewing on them as their screams faded. Their vocal cords torn, Colina took a moment to appreciate the silent terror she put her prey into before finishing the job and biting through their mask. With a crunch, she chewed into the blackened flesh and absorbed their spiritual energy. 

The remaining two underlings cowered close to their leader, seeming to be attempting to hide under the arms with fins like a parasol that would save them from Colina's reign of terror on their very existence. They tried to hide in the dust and the leader shook slightly as he muttered to himself, "Was it something I said...?" Colina darted and grabbed one of the underlings by its tailed lower half of the body, pulling them along as they ran and away from their leader. She headed straight for one of the towering Menos getting closer, causing Colina to grin to herself as she rushed towards it. Using the snake like Adjucha like a whip, she stopped in her tracks and jumped into the air, the Adjucha screaming and trailing behind her still tightly in her grip. As she ascended, she lifted her right arm, holding onto the Adjucha, and then brought it down with great force.

As the Adjucha collided with the Menos Grande in the mask, it cracked the mask in half and caused a loud and audible boom as the Menos Grande roared out in pain from the impact of the attack. The Adjucha itself collided face first with the Menos Grande, its own mask cracking and causing it to lose consciousness as Colina descended to the ground below, releasing the tail and letting them fall on their own. When Colina landed she looked up and lifted her left claw, the sharp tips pointing towards the sky with an ease and coolness that chilled the Leader to the bone as the dust settled finally and he got to see what was happening. The Adjucha Colina had just used as a weapon fell, skewered upon Colina's clawed left hand. And like a kebab Colina lifted their body to her face as she tore of the head and consumed them while looking the Leader of the pack in the eyes.

Colina held up a hand and turned back to the Menos Grande that had its mask broken, witnessing it writhing in pain on the ground, and marched over to it with a calmness that actually made the pack leader freeze in his tracks. Colina wanted to finish her meal, looking down on it and cracking her left shoulder as she approached. It was a little stiff after catching her prey earlier and shrugged it again to make sure it wouldn't cause an annoyance later. She then pounced on the Menos Grande, tearing into the gaping hole in its mask and eating the soul stuff it was made of, the spiritual energy flowing into her as the viscera covered her. The whole time the pack leader was shaking and thinking of something to do. He then turned to his remaining lackey and pointed towards Colina, muttering, "Get her while she's distracted..."

The final lackey, looking like a walking calamari with red and white tentacles coming off of their face and their arms looking like two longer and thicker tentacles stumbled towards Colina with a false bravado. They looked confident that they could sneak up on her as she fed on the Menos Grande. As they finally reached her and attempted to grab her, it was delighted to find it successfully gripped Colina's left leg and arm. It even tightened it's grip and attempted to pull Colina away from her meal but felt a snag. It physically could not pull Colina from her spot and when she stood she felt the fear in its grip as it tightened in response to seeing her look at them. "Funny," Colina quipped. "I think this part will be the funniest part of my meal."

Colina pulled her left arm quickly and hard, the line of tentacles already taut and stressed, and watched the Adjucha launch towards her against it's will. Colina's right arm came forward, slamming into the center of its body and causing them to cough up blood as they felt Colina's strength in her fist. She did not waste her claws on this Calamari hollow, instead taking her time in pummeling them. Over and over she pulled them in only to punch them away, almost like a ball on a string. She focused her punches on the chest of the creature, timing each strike and pull so that she got the best out of it. On the final pull, after about fifteen in total, she felt the tentacles starting to slacken and stopped her punch, letting the Calamari hollow unconsciously flop against her body. She then picked them up by the head with her left claw and lifted them to her mouth to be consumed.

When she finished, she looked at where the leader had stood and noticed the area quite empty of the Adjucha. He had tucked tail and ran, his entire group of weaklings having been consumed by Colina. Her eyes narrowed in anger at his cowardice, and she took off by launching in the air. She sniffed at the air, trying to lock onto his scent, while also focusing her mind on his spiritual energy. The group of them actually seemed strong before, but now it seemed that he was a bit weaker without them, making it a little hard for her to lock on. But when she did, and fell to the ground, she darted again. Her claws raking once more in the ground as she sped, her quarry trying to run away on his bipedal legs. She sped up her pursuit, his lumbering body easy to overtake as she ran. As she rushed passed him, her felt claw came up, slicing through his left leg and dismembering it from his body.

He fell to the ground with a wet thunk and screamed out, gripping at the thigh where his leg used to be attached. He turned his massive head to where he thought Colina would be and saw only a dust trail left behind. With his enemy out of sight he began crawling away from the dust trail, looking at the trail like a fool to see where she might come from. It was only when he truned to the direction he was heading that he saw his nightmare of an enemy approaching. The speed was so much that he only had time to lift one arm in defense of the attack. Colina's right arm came up, slicing into this coward's and letting it fly away just the same as the leg he once had had. 

He left himself propped up on his left arm and remained still, stunned by the attack that had just taken his other appendage from him, and simply gasped in pain and awe. Colina stood over him as he was bleeding on the ground, looking down on him. And then Colina lifted her left leg high before swiftly bringing it down and slamming this hammerhead-shaped head into the dirt beneath her. She ground his face into the dirt, holding him down there and letting him remain alive for the moment as he coughed and tried to push himself up by his remaining arm and leg. He tried to struggle, but the sheer force of Colina's strength still overcame his, especially with the loss of his limbs adding to the loss in his strength.

"Why...?" The leader spoke, muffled against the ground. Colina tilted her head in curiosity and decided to lift her foot slightly to allow him room to breathe and speak, her might still present but obviously releasing him slightly. "Why did you kill us...?"

Colina giggled slightly as she pressed her foot back down into his head, slamming him again against the ground. It certainly was painful, his groans showing the evidence of this. Colina leaned over, her right arm resting on her left knee, putting more pressure on the foolish Adjucha's head and let out a sigh of disappointment. "You had the audacity to do two things that rreeeaaalllly pissed me off. One, you assumed I needed to bow to you. But number two is way more important. You tried to lay claim to my prey... And I don't pick fruit until it's ripe. Although you're rotten...." Colina emphasized this by putting more strength into her foot, the Adjucha screaming in response to the increasing pressure. It got to the point that, finally, his head popped like a smashed grape against the ground. Only then did Colina lift her foot from her enemy and began to devour what remained.

Caballero had turned to finish the last group of lagging Hollows, far too slow (or dumb) to turn tail and run away after the two Adjuchas had preyed on them and their comrades, if one could call a banding of Hollows 'comrades'. Being motivated by hunger and the will to bow to the strongest so they would not be consumed, instead turning to feed on weaker Hollows, did not make a group comrades. Of course, Caballero was no saint either, given he was destroying and eating his kin. Were they a hypocrite? Perhaps. But at least they had a purpose beyond mindless consumption, even if that did not make it okay. Despite the carnage around them, these monsters were confident that they would survive and even thrive, perhaps because they were led by two Adjuchas themselves. Never mind the fact that Colina and the tiny knight had both destroyed a few of them.

Said leaders would converge on the little knight, intelligent enough to at least determine that they were a major threat, and that attacking one at a time was nothing but inviting their own destruction. Caballero had faced against enemies that used this manuever before, but not ones that could more or less match their individual abilities. Two on one against similar-strength foes was a tough nut to crack, but they had always found a way so far. The first one of them would swipe and attack with their sharp, long claws, which were powerful enough to shred a normal Hollow to bits with a few swipes. Normally, Caballero's size would allow them to easily weave through, but these monsters had clearly more experience fighting than their peers. With the other beast blocking Caballero's path with its own attacks, which they also struggled to steer clear of, it was a deadlock from which the little knight could only get out of by flexing its adept sword skills.

The little knight got out of that pickle by doubling down on the foe that was pushing them back. With Filo, they attacked the Adjuchas's claws, which gave way after some struggle, being severed by multiple clashing strikes. As the monster roared in pain, the tiny bean knew they had to make this count, and took advantage of the beast's pain to step in, avoiding a strike from behind from its foe, and make quick work of the bipedal-quadrupedal beast with strikes to the torso, neck and mask. The Adjuchas fell limp to the ground, but that only made its partner press on the attack.

Caballero could barely bring Filo between themselves and the foe, struggling to block the strike, but ultimately succeeding. This second Adjuchas was methodical, aiming for what would have been weakspots in a normal body with frightening precision. It was clear it prioritized narrow but effective hitzones rather than indiscriminate destruction... which worked wonders for Caballero. They were not that worried about their constitution, given their bizarre physiology; if anything, the fact that the enemy kept aiming at very small parts of their body made it safer for them. Not that they would reveal this information, of course, which is why they kept blocking and dodging so as to not make their advantage that obvious.

In the end, Caballero managed to defeat the monster by turning its preferred tactic against itself. Normally, the Hollow would expect anyone to cover those spots and be more cautious, but the tiny bean was far bolder than any opponents it had ever faced before, not caring whether they could expose an important organ. But Caballero had no organs to speak of, so it was much easier for them to jeopardize those areas of their body. The rhythm change from all those previous fights is what ended up allowing Caballero to slip by one gap in its offensive, allowing the little critter to dispatch the second Adjuchas. With both of them felled, they took chunks from their flesh, effectively consuming their power while letting the rest of the body fade away. They didn't have a taste for flesh or blood, but they had to get stronger.

Of course, the two Adjuchas's followers, 3 Menos Grande, turned tail and attempted to escape after witnessing all this. The tiny Hollow skittered across the sands once again, their superhuman speed turning them into a speedy blur for two of the last three monsters they would be facing up to this point. Caballero used a zig-zag pattern to throw them off even more, the Hollow knight's almost weightless constitution allowing him to cruise through the sands while barely burying themselves in it, thus giving them an even bigger advantage over the enemy. They brandished Filo yet again, splitting it into two and holding it by the sides of their body, preparing a cross slash.

Knowing full well that they would soon be outran by the tiny menace, one of the three Hollows they were pursuing, a Menos Grande with a unique mask, turned to face them. They recognized the sign of sentience beyond the animalistic instinct, and by its power it was on the verge of evolving to an Adjuchas, but that did not make it any more difficult for Caballero to strike. The creature began charging up a Cero, the go-to weapon of the Gillian, but Caballero's incessant zig-zagging made it very difficult to aim the blast. This made the monster fire in panic; due to the increasingly shortening distance between them, the blast only narrowly missed Caballero, who was reminded that they could not grow too cocky. The little knight unleashed their cross-slash as they caught up to the Menos Grande, splitting its body into four and ending its existence. Again, Caballero's body ripped out a chunk of flesh as they passed through, and focused on the other two normal Gillians.

They had continued to run away from them, but were much slower than their stronger counterpart, so it took little to no time for the grim reaper's scythe to get to them, in the shape of a very tiny Adjuchas. The little knight toppled the first towering Gillian by weaving between its feet underneath the dark cape, moving on an S like trajectory. With that movement, Filo destroyed both feet in a fluid movement, making the monster topple to the sands, although it didn't even make it all the way there before Caballero jumped forward to cleave its head off, decapitating the beast without hesitation. After tearing another chunk of flesh for consumption and leaving the rest of the body to fade away, they turned to the last Gillian, who'd just seen its peer fall, and was completely paralyzed by Caballero's growing power. It was going to die, and all the souls swirling within knew that as well.

It was strange, seeing this towering monster completely and utterly terrified of the incredibly creature before it. Not too long ago, this would have gone the complete opposite way--well, perhaps not so much, considering how willing Caballero had always been to put themselves in the face of dangers that surpassed them if it meant helping other people. As the knight moved Filo to the side, the blood of the previous Hollows dripped to the sands, dampening them ever so slightly. Caballero did not care whether the monster would suffer, or whether it would be quick. They avoided the beast's paltry attempts at defending themselves by grappling onto their cloak with Tendón, getting level with its mask, and cleaving it vertically with a downwards chop.

Between Caballero and Colina's combined efforts, the horde of Hollows that had been gathering around had thinned out. Unfortunately for the little Hollow, it hadn't taken too long for the monsters to figure out that the Reiatsu signature they had been giving off was nothing but a big lie, designed to entice and bait them into their own deaths at their hands. Well, that did not mean they were out of masked abominations to kill. The Forest of Menos, like every other place in Hueco Mundo, was large to the extreme. Surely they would be able to come across other monsters if they continued going.

Resigning themselves that they would no longer be coming, the little critter at least rested more easily, taking a moment to regain their breath. Of course, all that killing had taken some toll on their stamina, although they were far from winded. Now, they had to turn the tables and be the one on the hunt... but would they need to go at it alone?

Perhaps this would be an opportunity for Caballero to bury the hatchet, to get to know the rabbit-like Hollow a little better. As mentioned before, she hadn't been the one to eat the humans after they had challenged her because of it. That meant she could be reasoned with, at the very least; and with Caballero being a friendly Hollow by nature, that company was one they preferred in that dark, hostile world. Of course, they would tell themselves that it was just to keep her in sight so she would not scurry back into the Human World to rampage again. Yes, that was definitely it. Not that they were sick of being alone after being a Gillian for so long, keeping themselves confined in Hueco Mundo just in case they succumbed again, not that they had been sorely lacking in seeing friendly faces; they'd settle with familiar.

As such, Caballero walked toward Colina, their aura as pure as it always was, although they didn't get as close as they would if she had been a full-fledged friend. Although they kept some distance and Filo was at their side, Caballero was not on an offensive stance. They tried to get Colina's attention, then pointed toward the retreating horde, then to themselves, then to Colina. Thinking that that might had not been enough explanation, they alternated pointing at the rabbit-like Hollow and themselves with a stubby little arm, and then back to the horde.

They really needed to learn a new form of communication.

As Caballero made his cautious approach towards Colina she would have been finishing her little speech to the now deceased and consumed Adjucha lying on the ground and his viscera between her right foot's toes. It wasn't a pleasant feeling, but it was drowned out by the feeling of Colina consuming the soul of the posthumous fool who dared to tell Colina to bow before him. It hadn't been the first time someone was arrogantly demanding of Colina and it certainly wouldn't be the last, although this one felt more personal. It wasn't until Caballero ventured within twenty feet of Colina that she finally turned on him. In her frenzied feasting she didn't actually recognize his energy signature and turned with a violent speed and bared her claws.

Once Colina saw her favored friend-prey she stood and coughed, shaking her head slightly to clear out the thoughts of pulling him apart in a moment and drinking out the soul stuff inside like a syrup being drizzled onto a set of pancakes. "Sorry kid. Didn't realize it was you for a moment... My head can get foggy when someone threatens my meals." She grinned inwardly and tilted her head in a friendly manner outwardly, hoping that the sentiment would be communicated. When she noticed how Caballero was gesturing with his hands, pointing specifically to the two of them and the horde running from them, Colina nodded slightly and looked at the horde thoughtfully.

"I mean, we can chase them down if that's what you're getting at. But do know there are always bigger fish. Could be right in front of that horde if we're not careful... I'm sure we drew someone's attention." Then Colina took a knee and pointed to her shoulder for the little guy. Her mask moved slightly to allow her a mischievous grin for Caballero to see. "Hop on. If we want a good bite we're gonna have to catch up in no time. And honestly, you look a bit... not exhausted but certainly a bit tired from all that swinging around. Take a load off and let the frog carry the scorpion for a while." Colina winked at the mention of the fable. But deep inside she knew she was the scorpion waiting for this frog to become big enough of a prize worthy to sting.

Caballero didn't flinch when Colina bared her claws at them. If anything, their nerves steeled even more as they brandished Filo and immediately fell into a defensive stance, ready to counter a potential offensive strike. If she wanted to go at it right now, then they would be more than happy to oblige. However, it turned out that the rabbit-like Hollow simply hadn't recognized Caballero at first. Maybe in the future they would regret not responding with an attack, instead of carefully gauging her, but for the time being it semeed for the best. Once she finally realized that they were the same Hollow she had spared not that long ago, her attitude changed, although they could still feel the ill-intent she was repressing. It soon was gone, however, as she cleared her mind from the feeding frenzy that had set in. She excused herself, saying that she got foggy when someone threatened her meals, reminiscent of a certain commercial with a certain brand that rhymed with knickers, although she did give them a friendly gesture.

Normally, Caballero would have immediately returned it; they were quite a social Hollow, after all; but perhaps because of their instincts, because of the way the slaughter of their own kind had been etched into their very being, Caballero simply stared at Colina. It was strange: they could not speak, so they were always in silence, but it didn't mean that they were silent. In fact, this tiny Adjuchas tended to skip around, making themselves noticed in other ways, specially when seeing someone they had already met before Maybe they would look for a hug, maybe they would challenge their friend, maybe they would simply jump up and down excitedly.

Not this time.

As Colina looked at Caballero, the abyss within their mask simply stared right back. Unmoving, unwavering, as if they did not want to let her out of sight for even a fraction of a second. Though they didn't know this at the time, the little knight had been made to kill the masked denizens of Hueco Mundo. It was only natural that they would have trouble displaying neutrality, let alone friendship, toward one of them. Still, they didn't attack or present themselves as a threat: for the time being, they would only defend themselves if need be. She had earned that much by virtue of sparing those humans, even if she just did it because it amused her.

But now, they had bigger concerns. Well, not bigger, as Colina was certainly more powerful than the run of the mill Adjuchas the two had been slaughtering, but certainly more numerous. When faced with a choice, Caballero would rather have her help to slaughter larger groups of Hollows. It was simple: powerful as she may be, Colina was only one Hollow, right? She could cause more damage, but it wouldn't be as widespread as the one that a multitude of Strays, Gillian and Adjuchas would do if they happened to cross into the World of the Living because they were feeling snacky.

Fortunately, it seemed she was on board with the idea of pursuing the horde, so that was one less thing Caballero would have to worry about. They would not drop their guard, however, but it was good that the amount of work would be split. Their stamina had a limit, after all, and by virtue of having her there aiding them, it effectively doubled. She went as far as to suggest that they climbed on top of her so that they could pursue the horde, giving them a little breather. The tiny Hollow observed the offer for a few moments before ultimately realizing that yes, they would be more effective if they rest up a little bit. As such, they nodded, and hopped onto Colina's shoulder if allowed. Their entire body seemed to rebel against the idea of teaming up with another Hollow, but Caballero's Strength of Will had always kept that black Reiatsu that comprised it in check, and now it would not be any different.

Whoa. There was a BIG one there. Well, perhaps not a big one in the strict sense of the word, but certainly a more powerful Adjuchas, one that would take more than just a few attacks to take down. As if running to their mommy while crying, the horde they had been pursuing were heading toward the larger beast, although now that they looked better at it, it just looked like they were trying to capture its attention to direct it at the attackers. However, it soon became apparent that they were not allies, and that they had just been lucky enough to cross paths with it.

Well, 'lucky' may have been a bad way to put it. The moment they got near, the big one jumped forth to devour one of the members of the running horde, with a sickening crunching sound.

Its shape looked oddly humanoid, and by oddly, I mean that there was a human torso literally jutting out of the head of a gigantic, masked spider-like body, complete with its own head. It wouldn't be odd to consider it as a sort of middle stage between the two, if that had existed. Of course, it could also be that the Hollow had developed that as a sort of bait to draw in unsuspecting Plusand Hollows alike--not that an Adjuchas would require resorting to such petty tricks to get their prey. Still, it might not just have been bait, because the human torso turned on its own to look at both Colina and Caballero. While its spider head munched on the Adjuchas that had been unlucky enough to have been the first one running, this human-like beast giggled, and extended her hand forward, as if commanding an army of fearful Hollows. Between her and them, they chose to face the rabbit and the knight.

They would need to face no less than eight Adjuchas, as well as the rank and file Menos Grande and Strays that she was commanding if they were to get to her. And that was if this Adjuchas didn't join the fight before that happened...

[Colina Conejita]

Colina looked speculatively at the little hollow staring back at her, his eyes a void in response to her excusing her behavior earlier at his approaching her from behind. There seemed to be nothing, not even malice, in the little thing as he studied Colina. Colina stared back, her smile turning more into a smirk as she shook her head and looked around at the empty area around them and spoke, "You know, I don't really count anyone as an enemy until I have to. And that's the law of this jungle my friend. You're food or you're competition. Atleast that's what I used to think...." Colina continued her previously planned approach, giving Caballero the opportunity to climb onto her back.

As Caballero climbed onto Colina's back she would shift her weight slightly in order to give him a more comfortable purchase. She, after all, didn't want to leave him uncomfortable or, even worse, exposed to possibly falling off of her during the quick trek across the plains of the Menos Forest. While shifting, she also took notice of an uncomfortable energy making itself known to her and her compatriot in this battlefield of feeding. Colina looked across the wood-granite expanse and saw an arachnid with a female's upper half fused into the head feeding on one of Colina's prey. She frowned slightly at the thought of the loss of potential soul stuff. But then she smirked and allowed the grin to grow as she thought of how she was going to make the little bug squirm under her feet just like the last fool who thought themselves above her.

When Colina saw the horde turn back towards her she scoffed and stood up tall, Caballero finally in position, or atleast she would hope. The very thought that Colina was less of a threat or less intimidating than that damned spider was an insult at the very least and a deadly spit at her feet at the worst. And Colina was certainly taking it as the latter. She took off at full speed immediately, rushing forward in leaps and bounds while running on all fours and with Caballero, once again hopefully, holding on tightly as she had been overtaken by her anger before she could warn the little guy that she was going to take off at full speed. It wasn't until she reached the first Adjucha that she finally took her foot off the metaphorical gas pedal.

As Colina ended her stride she twisted about so as to face away from the approaching horde and showed her backside to the first Adjucha they came upon. She utilized her inertia as she skidded against the ground with her hands and lifted her legs, bending them harshly and releasing a kick directly into the chest of the enemy Adjucha, launching him high into the air while shouting out to Caballero, “Jump up there and start with that one!” As she expected Caballero to jump Colina herself would press hard off the ground with her hands and perform a back flip to launch Caballero from her to assist in his assumed jump. If he did not jump willingly, he would likely be thrown from her and straight up into the air and with a slight trajectory towards the horde they faced.

As Colina continued her back flip her legs would ascend in front of her and descend in a crescent, coming down onto the head of a random little hollow from the horde, crushing it in a single disgusting crunch. The blood and sinew sprayed from the little hollow, it’s bird like body splitting into random pieces flying about in a carnage. The feathers made of white bone also flew about, causing a bit of distraction before Colina’s right foot slammed into the hard ground beneath the little destroyed bug of a hollow. The blow to the ground beneath herself and her prey caused sand and dirt debris to fly into the surrounding area, invoking a smokescreen into the area around herself and her foes.

Before any could respond to the distraction, let alone the smokescreen, Colina took action by crouching low on all fours and attacking the strongest Adjucha near to her. It was a tall and muscular Adjucha with a mask like that of a Lion’s Mane and the face of a serpent. It was tall and muscular, veins pulsing with every twitch of fear it made, with a long tail swishing on the ground behind it. Colina thought it might be compensating for something with such a a visage but kept the thought to herself while she stalked this prey quickly. As soon as it’s back was turned for a moment too long, she moved to strike with ferocity and speed.

Colina flew through the dirt and debris, slamming one of her feet down onto the swishing tail of the Adjucha, aiming and connecting to the middle of the thick flesh the tail was made of. As her foot came down like a lead block the Adjucha lost it’s balance, falling backwards and towards Colina. She positioned herself gracefully behind the Adjucha so she would be crouched behind and underneath it’s body, all towering eight feet of it. This would make it even easier for her to damage this target with her waiting claws, glistening like tiny knives. Her right arm tucked back and behind her, her left hip turning and facing the falling body of the Chimera Adjucha.

Colina’s right arm flew forward as he fall continued, slamming into it’s back with her full strength, the air whooshing with speed around her right claw and slicing through the air before connecting with her target. The flesh began to rend as her claws slipped into the skin, pushing like a knife into butter were her claws. They tore into the muscle between the ribs of the Adjucha, separating the lining and letting the organs within fall apart as they were torn and became viscera beneath the blades that were her claws. As she finished her blow, she twisted her hips back in the opposite direction that she had before, instead turning towards the right. She roared loudly as she continued this blow, causing several lower hollow around them to run in fear and scatter from the debris cloud.

As Colina twisted her body, her claws pushed through towards the middle of the Adjucha’s body, moving from the beginning area and tearing outwards from it’s center. When she finished, the Adjucha barely made a sound, having been torn easily in half and left as two pieces barely hanging together. And before it had the chance to possibly scream out in terror at what had been done to it’s body, Colina leaned forward, slamming the upper half hanging on into the ground. Her teeth sunk deep into the neck of the Adjucha as they fell together, and she quickly devoured the soul stuff of his energy with an ease and speed she was beginning to feel was second nature to her.

As Colina finished devouring this prey and the debris cloud fell around her, she was revealed to all of her enemies to be crouching down on all fours, looking around with her eyes darting left and right. She was counting how many of her enemies were left. Some of the horde had already started to scatter again, the weakest among them of course terrified of her roar and strength being shown so openly. But it wasn't them she was looking for. She was currently trying her utmost to find both the leader of this new band of hollows, the little spider hiding from the vicious bunny that she was. Bugs were never meant to fight the monsters like her, and this would be no exception, Colina thought to herself.

Caballero was thankful for the breather that the rabbit-like monster had allowed them to take. While the Hollows they had been hunting before had yet to push them to the limit of their abilities, it was true that accumulated fatigue could take its toll on anyone. However, with Colina transporting them into the heat of battle, the tiny Adjuchas had more than enough time to refresh themselves and get back at about 90% of their stamina. Still not at full tank, obviously, but more than enough to handle whatever might be coming next. Plus, it was not like they were incredibly heavy; at 30lbs, Colina would be able to transport them without even feeling it, so the two of them would be able to reach the next battle without wearing themselves ragged in their pursuit.

Speaking of which, the battle didn't take too long to get started. Once the spider-like Hollow had sent her hordes toward them, an eager Colina had quickly rushed forward at full speed. Caballero was able to hold on by using Tendón to secure themselves in position, like a set of reins for horse-riding. They did take off for a moment due to her sudden movement, but their speed allowed them to react pretty fast to the sudden change. In any case, Colina would deliver a powerful kick towards the first of the monsters, forcing Caballero to adjust their position so they would not fall. She then told them to go ahead and finish it off.

No need to tell them, they were already on it. Caballero jumped up, trying to follow the creature Colina had sent flying. However, they would not try to jump nearly as high as the creature; instead, they were content with following closely at the same speed, though they did not reach quite the same height. Then, they unleashed a Class 5 Tendón against it. Their left arm, currently unburdened of any weapons, sprouted a myriad tendrils that shot forth towards the Adjuchas, who could not react due to being reeling from Colina's attack. By the time Tendón had bound the monster, it was already too late for the creature.

Caballero flexed their Reiatsu Strength to mercilessly crush the creature's body, popping joints and breaking bones without any issue--even if the Hollow looked sturdy, its defensive strength could not compete with Caballero's onslaught. Caballero then reeled Tendón in to slam the Hollow against the ground, although they still did not let go of the monster. Instead, they kept crushing and crushing until the enemy breathed its last, and then their black Reiatsu body eagerly consumed the Reishi it broke down into, adding further fuel to the soul furnace that was Caballero, as a Menos-class Hollow.

By the time they recalled their tendrils, other Adjuchas had already converged onto them. All good, all good. Caballero gripped Filo tightly, ready to fend off the new threats while Colina did the same on her side. The smokescreen she set up with her attacks did not reach them, and in fact turned the attention of those outside the vision impairment's field to turn their attention to Caballero, an attention that they were more than happy to reciprocate. The first of the Adjuchas, which had a rapier-like arm and a shield covering the other, not unlike a true knight, was the first to step forward to attack. Its chivalry did leave a lot to be desired, because it did not hesitate to call upon his flunkies once it exchanged a few blows with Caballero.

While they were busy locking his weapon against the Hollow's appendage, a few Strays tried to jump on him, eager to consume the Adjuchas and skip a couple of levels in their evolutionary chain. That hubris, of course, would be their undoing. Caballero didn't even need to focus on them, instead making use of the massive power difference between them and those monsters. The gravitational pressure unleashed by the little knight was enough not just to paralyze those Hollows and pin them to the ground, but to actually compress their flesh and bodies, folding them in half after half until there was nothing else of them but a bloody paste of meat, already vanishing into Reishi. It was almost insulting. Did they really fear the spider-lady Hollow more than Caballero? A desire to show those monsters exactly what it was they should be afraid of grew within the little bean. They really held bottomless contempt toward their own species, didn't they?

In any case, after turning those things into paste, Caballero flicked their Filo to force the other Hollow into a bad position, at which moment they used their speed to maneuver and overtake its defense, allowing the Reiatsu Strength powered edge to dance across the monster's arm and reach the main body. With a Z like slash, Caballero dealt a massive wound to the monster that only caused further openings in its already shaky defense. The tiny bean took that chance and swiftly dealt an upward slash with the intent of cleaving their head in two, after which they tore off another chunk to consume and further strengthen themselves.

One of the Adjuchas seemed to wise up to the fact that its boss might not be as dangerous as both Colina and Caballero were currently displaying. This caused it to hesitate for a moment before plunging into attack, but that moment's doubt was not reciprocated by the small Hollow themselves. When fighting their kin, Caballero spared no courtesy, showed no mercy, and did not take any chances. The only good Hollow was a dead Hollow. Period.

Of course, that statement kind of ignored their entire existence, but that was how they operated, how they were intended to act. Caballero split Filo in two again, taking care of this huge, lanky Adjuchas by cleaving through its ankles first to make it drop to the ground, then jump on top of its lower back and trace a run with both swords embedded into its skin, dealing long, deep wounds that culminated with them slashing the nape of its neck with their left sword, and then behead it for good with the right one. This Hollow quickly became slivers of Reishi that the knight was more than ready to consume before turning onto their next target.

However, both Colina and them could be fighting these guys all day and still get nowhere. There was clearly one key Hollow to defeat, the one leading the entirety of that small army through fear. Thus, the best way to deal with this entire situation was to cut the head off the snake... but in order to do that, they'd need to cut a path open. Caballero quickly scanned the area. The damned fiend was hiding amidst her troops, and would most likely change positions the more they fought. No doubt it was waiting for them to grow tired so she could claim the kill. Perhaps this spider-like creature had thrived in this way, eating off of battles other Hollows fought for her?

Then it would not matter. There was no need to concern themselves with the small fry.Caballero lowered their head ever so slightly, and a red light began to fill the area. Without hesitation, he pointed it toward the largest group within the army that they were able to find in that split moment decision.

Cero.

The blast was fired immediately, going off of Caballero's 600 Reiatsu Strength. The weaker Hollows in its path, such as Strays and Gillian, were engulfed and annihilated within the blast, which continued until reaching one of the Adjuchas that was covering for the spider Hollow. The monster didn't get out of the way in time, or perhaps though that they could survive it. Maybe they were forced to act as a meat shield. Whatever the reason, an explosion followed not soon after.Colina would see a path cut open, and a spider-like creature quickly darting away to hide amidst her flunkies again. It would depend on her to catch and crush that fiend.

As Colina was scanning the area around her for the spider Adjucha amongst the crowd of Hollows, she heard the carnage happening above and behind her. It was quite evident that Caballero was enjoying himself to the fullest, causing Colina to smile a bit too widely to herself. "Finally, letting yourself off of your chain. Grow my prey... Grow and be a worthy meal." As she turned however to look back at Caballero she saw the deep red glow of a cero beginning to form and immediately grinned even wider, darting towards the horde itself with an urgency she knew she would need at this moment. When the beam of power was unleashed, rending the horde asunder with a cavern of bodies left in it's wake, Colina was already there. She ran passed the corpses left on the ground, kicking up dirt as she sped with her full force.

When she made it through, keeping a lock on the spider Adjucha easily by following the energy signature and smell she picked up just recently from focusing on the skittering sneaky bastard. Colina came upon them with an ease that made herself feel pride welling up inside. She was truly strong again, truly filled with energy waiting inside of her. When she pounced however, another Adjucha that had strayed out of the path of the cero jumped in her way. Colina roared in anger and swiped with her right claw first, cleaving off the tentacle like arm from the poor thing that got between her and her prey. With his left arm gone, the Adjucha opened it's mouth, attempting to build up a cero in response to Colina's overwhelming physical force.

Colina simple scoffed and continued her momentum, seeing that the cero was building within the mouth of the Adjucha, slamming into it and forcing her left claw up and into an uppercut of sorts. She connected easily with the Adjucha's jaw, slamming the mouth shut and forcing the Adjucha to keep their cero inside of their mouth, which seemed more like a visor for a helmet than a toothy grin. It connected like two rectangles mashed together and Colina held it shut tight with her left paw while maneuvering the little bastard with her right. As she gripped it and turned it towards the horde, she grinned, aiming the waiting cero of another towards the spider Adjucha specifically. "Hope you like losing your head." Colina grinned and watched.

The explosive force tore through the Adjucha's head, sending it off of it's held position and lolled backwards. The neck had obviously snapped after the initial explosion went off, the Adjucha not able to hold it's head upright after the blast was unleashed. To most of the horde, especially the little guys that seemed to be forming a wall around the Spider Adjucha, they were now either damaged or extremely dead from the additional cero that was now fired off. Colina herself took a moment to bite off the head of her captive to ensure that he would not further interfere in her hunt of the spider. It was very important that such nuisances were crushed before she took on the main course of her meal.

Colina stood upright, having officially cornered the spider before her and making it clear that there was no escape. Now the real tasty meal was about to be savored by Colina, and she was planning to make sure it wasn't going to skitter away. Colina lifted her paws and pulled them back to her sides, bending her knees at the same time. This was the most basic stance, a horse stance, and her head was slightly bowed forward as she leaned her entire frame towards the Spider. She was getting ready to pounce and she gave a shout over to Caballero. "This one is mine! Don't get in the way, little one. I think you've already seen the results of interferers..."

Caballero's "strategy" to allow Colina to reach the boss, if one could call simply blasting a Cero through a horde such, had worked. It allowed the rabbit-like monster to jump forward and get close to the boss, all while issuing Caballero a dire warning so that they would not interfere in her fight. This was to be her prey to consume, a tasty snack to make her more powerful, and he was not allowed to take any shots at it. Well, fine by them. They didn't feel all too comfortable drawing their sword against anything that looked remotely human. Caballero would be more than happy to destroy the remaining Hollows that were currently looking at them as if they were a literal devilspawn.

How could they not? This flea of a Holllow made no noise, did not breathe, and from what they had seen, they did not bleed either. All about Caballero, from their behavior to their physiology, was so alien that it was pretty hard not to question whether they were a Hollow at all. Only the helmet-like mask was a dead giveaway that they were dealing with one of their kin, and not an apparition hell bent on pursuing and eliminating them by the dozen. With Colina facing the spider-like monster, these creatures no longer had to fear her, which of course, translated into most of them trying to get away. However, Caballero was no longer in the mood for chases or games, and so they played a pretty nasty card.

By flexing their gravitational pressure, Caballero cut the retreating Hollows' path to freedom, pinning them to the rock and sand in the Forest of Menos. Just by exerting this, the not-so-poor beings began to lose their lives, slowly but surely. Weaker ones were crushed into bloody paste instantly, while the stronger ones fought with all their might to escape. Some were able to momentarily free themselves--the stronger ones, and thus the ones that were better to eat. Caballero didn't need to hurry anymore, as they advanced pretty damn slow, and they could still crank it up to eleven if they so desired. This was just a comfortable output at which they could just relax a little, and clean up the remaining fiends.

The first one would be a rather evolved Menos Grande, who had the misfortune of being there before evolving into an Adjuchas. Caballero used their sword to cut it down to pieces, pretty much their standard procedure for Hollows. Using Cero had been an exception in and of itself, and only so that Colina could do her own thing more easily. They surgically cut down the monster's legs, then the torso, then the mask, as if they were knocking sections out of a totem pole with each sword strike. They didn't even think about what the monster might be feeling, and quite frankly, they did not care either. They'd fought enough Hollows to know that there was no reason to care. Still, they did not relish in their task, and quickly tore off a small chunk of flesh to let the beast fade away into nothingness.

Then he turned to the second one, who had a bit of a headstart. This one was an Adjuchas already, but no matter. Still without running, Caballero glanced over at them, and all of a sudden, a 450 Reiatsu Strength Bala shot forward, completely halting its advance as the projectile punched the Adjuchas's leg off. It was a rather ruthless maneuver, and Colina's words came to mind. Had they truly let go and given in to their instincts? No. Far from it. Their instincts did not tell them to consume humans or hunt them down. It told them that all Hollows should be eradicated.

That sentiment had only grown after experiencing first hand the minds of their brethren during their time as a Menos Grande. Caballero watched without an iota of pity as the beast still tried to crawl away, and they cut down the rest of its body with ease. They did end it swiftly, not choosing to engage in pointless torture. They wanted to kill them, not make them suffer. Caballero then used Tendón to extract yet another piece to consume, which would be added to the filling cairn that was their soul. How many of those would be trapped in their tiny body, now?

Ah, whatever. Some of the Strays were still alive, so Caballero focused on the one that had yet to be crushed by their gravitational pressure. The rest succumbed not too long after they set their sights on them, maybe realizing that there was no point in struggling anymore. Caballero used their already summoned Filo to cleave through the beast in a single sword motion, as the Reiatsu Strength was too potent for it to resist the impact. Again, Caballero consumed part of its flesh, and let the rest fade away. Then, with the remaining Hollows already dead, they simply watched Colina from afar, choosing to take a seat on the rocky grounds.

The spider beast roared back at Colina, with her spider mouth letting a deep growl and the top, woman part wailing like a banshee. It used its legs to skitter to the side, circling Colina while the head underneath spewed projectiles of pure lava. Scorching heat gave away the danger of what might happen if they so much as touched her skin, and yet that was naught but a quick distraction. In truth, this Hollow aimed to get Colina's back, and if it ever reached that angle, the beast would pounce on top of the rabbit Hollow with the intent of using the spider mouth's lava-like saliva to cook her, and then consume her. Still, this monster was moving at a speed of 250. If Colina could deal with the lava projectiles, there was no reason why she should not be able to react in time.

Colina felt the heat from the beast's mouth before it spewed, smelled the sulfur as it gathered its mess of lava in its mouth, and felt like she might actually be able to taste it on the air with her tongue as the skittering monstrosity tried to ambush her with its ability. Colina cracked her neck and stepped to the left quickly, lifting her right leg completely from the ground, and evaded the first spewing mess of hot magma that flew from the spider Adjucha. Colina quickly gathered from the way the beast was circling it wanted to get at her back and jump at her where it thought she would be most vulnerable. That was it's mistake to make. And Colina willingly allowed this to occur.

As she maneuvered around the lava spewing forth, deftly and carefully tiptoeing around the mess, Colina moved forward and over the molten mess, jumping quickly and carefully to a spot that would me just outside of the original target area for the lava. She also willingly and purposefully left her back wide open to the beast. Colina had been waiting for the moment that she could feel the energy of this creature and it's intent through it to attack. She also listened to the way it moved in the sand, waiting for the moment it would leap from the ground and rush her over it's own molten attack. The moment this occurred, Colina would dip her body low and move to place both palms of her claws on the ground and curl her legs in to prepare for a kick against the creature.

The aim of the kick would specifically aim to go under the lower head of the spider's body and completely avoid it's mouth where the molten magma was being spewed from, having dipped low enough at such a quick pace that the Spider would actually be vaulting over Colina's position. Her feet would aim to find the midsection of the spider and launch it high into the air where it would find itself dazed and vulnerable, seeing as it relied heavily upon it's legs for quick movement when hunting, or so Colina surmised from the way it began hunting her. Colina would also be launching herself upwards if the kick connected as expected, and pressed off the ground with her arms to sail after her target.

While Colina fought with her Hollow, Caballero simply hung back just as she had requested, taking that time to refresh his spent stamina. Their endeavors had made short work of the hordes of Hollows they both had been facing so far, and they could feel the power surging from within as the creatures they had eaten had become fully entrenched in the maelstrom of souls they housed within. The more they ate, the less they feared regression, and the further away the torment they had experimented as a Gillian got. What was best is that, as usual, they felt absolutely no desire to seek human prey, or spiritually powerful Pluses. That hadn't changed with their evolution, it seemed, and it was a relief for the little Hollow.

With less of their kin around them, their violent behavior was slowly becoming more subdued, although it still remained alert as Colina and the spider-like Adjuchas duked it out not too far away from there. In the meantime, Caballero visualized how they would go at trying to fight the Hollow. How to weave between its legs, how to deal with the magma the head was spewing. Their instinct for battle had also become more honed upon evolution, probably because of the more souls they had incorporated. It was hard to tell, but it was a good theory. Regardless, Caballero kept waiting, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings in case that someone or something tried to get the drop on them, or in case stronger opponents were drawn in by the signs of battle.

The arachne Adjuchas seemed frustrated when the molten projectiles it had spewed failed to reach Colina. Well, at least the spider head seemed frustrated by the grunts, snarls and roars it was letting out. The female human upper body merely kept a deranged smile whilst imitating the decorum of the stereotypical japanese lady, but it was clear it was out for blood. That was why it was so eager to pounce into Colina once it had apparently left herself open, perhaps trusting that the spider half of her body would be able to pin her down and melt her into a tasty snack to consume.

The rabbit-like Hollow, however, not only had the proper battle experience to instinctively know how the Hollow moved, but the speed to back that knowledge up and allow her to counter attack. She dipped low enough that the spider would miss her target just by a hair's breadth, and then felt the full brunt of her kick on the midsection of its abdomen before being launched skyward due to the sheer strength in Colina's legs.

Once in the air, the creature vomited from the blow it had just received. However, what it vomited was not bile or stomach fluids: it was even more lava. A sea of molten rock was launched downwards on an umbrella shape, hoping to leave Colina without escape due to the eagerness with which she had jumped in pursuit. The question was whether Colina had the means to dodge or bypass the attack unscathed, some way to avoid the falling lava, or just the sheer durability to tank it and deliver more pain onto the Hollow. If the attack hit, Colina would see that the lava would burn at first, but would quickly harden and solidify into rock, hoping to entomb her body and make her far slower. Of course, this substance was used to trap lesser Hollows, and might not work due to the Adjuchas's sheer strength. All the while, the arachne's upper half was gripping her own shoulders as if dealing with the pain, and its face had contorted into sheer hatred for the rabbit-like Hollow. How dare she strike at her beauty? How dare she struggle against her? Didn't she know she, like all other creatures, existed solely to serve her, whether it be by servitude or as nourishment?

Caballero would take notice of all these efforts to kill one another as they silently continued to watch the two Hollows engage in a battle as old as the soul cycle: eat, or be eaten. They took note that while this arachne Hollow fought fueled by hunger and a sense of superiority due to their evolution, those were traits they simply did not share. They did not attack to eat or to assert themselves as the pinnacle of Hueco Mundo. They attacked to kill Hollows, as simple as that. Consuming them was just a part of what their body needed to subsist without devolving into a mindless creature again.

At this point, the tiny Adjuchas saw what looked like a couple of either demi-Hollows, or weak, scrawny ones desperately trying to go by unnoticed. Fragile creatures no doubt, ones that could do them absolutely no harm if they ignored their presence and simply continued spectating Colina's battle. But they did not ignore it. Something within them compelled to quickly launch Tendón to ensnare the creatures, leaving both of them unable to even utter a scream before they tightened the grip with Tendón. The tendrils that had sprouted from their stubby little arms mercilessly crushed both creatures to death, using Reiatsu Strength as its base power due to Caballero's bizarre physiology. Due to the small size resulting from Tendón's quick compression, they were assimilated completely by their black Reiatsu, instead of needing to tear a chunk off of them.

Strangely, Caballero, who was a gentle soul, should have felt something at comitting such an act against a defenseless opponent. But they simply found that they did not care. Questioning why this might be for a few moments, they returned to keep sight of the battle to see how it would unfold...

Colina had obviously misunderstood the amount of hurt the spider was willing to go through as she launched up from the ground and into the lava. Yes, the burning was terrible, but Colina had been through much worse before. And this little bastard was about regret what it had just done. It had given Colina not only incentive to hurt it but given her a weapon to boost. With Colina sailing upwards and through the lava, she found that it quickly cooled around Colina's feet, becoming a hard coat of basalt like rock. With this, she slammed her feet into the spider adjucha and caused several things inside to squish and break. The vibration of it sent chills of excitement down Colina's spine.

Colina let inertia and gravity take effect to land ontop of the spider adjucha, slamming it into the ground and breaking the rock around her feet against the creature at the same time. It was interesting to have her feet glued together at that time, but the burns on her legs and feet were now openly and plainly seen. This caused Colina to curse under her breath for a moment before she launched a tirade of furious slashes at the Spiders lower head, aiming to maul the thing off with her claws and fangs. Colina was purposely also pinning her body as close to the creature's underbelly at the same time to avoid the legs of it from kicking her off.

If Colina was succesful in removing the lower head from the body she would aim to continue burrowing into the flesh of the Adjucha, tunneling into it's body to kill and absorb the soul of the thing. She wanted to bathe in the blood of her enemy while drinking it dry. It deserved no quarter or mercy for what it had done. It marked her by burning her, and Colina would not let that so easily slide. Her mind was slightly going blank as she fed, the rage of the whole situation taking her over in a bloody frenzy. And if Colina was able to finish the job, she would stand amongst the body of her enemy and howl out in rage, her scream echoing in the forest of stone and hollows.

Caballero rested easy upon seeing Colina emerge victorious from her bout with the spider-like Hollow, whose screams of agony had quickly been silenced by the rabbit beast. Not because they were concerned about her well-being, but because one less Adjuchas with tendencies to lead packs of Hollows meant one less big problem for the future. By nipping them in the bud here in the Forest of Menos, the little Adjuchas was sure that they would not grow to become a bigger problem down the line, a problem that would've undoubtedly taken hundreds, if not thousands of lives in its wake before it was put to rest. They were nowhere near as appreciative of her howls of rage, given their dislike for loud noises and the ones emitting them.

In any case, its demise marked the end to the Hollows in the area. Caballero had yet to stop emitting Reiatsu to draw out more, but if there were any other Menos in the vicinity, they had probably wisened up to the honeyed trap the tiny knight was lying for them, given the large number of their kin that had been slaughtered by the combined efforts of Colina and Caballero. Whilst riding atop Colina, they had failed to see any other sign of Hollow presence, and the tiny bean's lack of Energy Sensory abilities meant that it was nigh impossible for them to pick up on any signatures. Plus, if any of them masked their Reiatsu signature, then having basic Energy Sensory skills wouldn't do Caballero any good at all.

As such, perhaps it was time for the little Adjuchas to move on and continue their journey. They stopped emitting the Reiatsu, since now it would be little else than a beacon that had a clear "KEEP OUT" message for all nearby Hollows. They would also mask their signature as best as they could, for there was no longer any merit in leaving it out in the open for anyone else to pick up on. For now, they would capitalize on their small size and natural speed to go about unnoticed. Caballero would wait for Colina to return, if she did; if not, they would walk up to her themselves, still on guard. The Forest of Menos wouldn't hold anything else for them for that day, but perhaps the sands above would. For now, it was time to get out of those cavernous deeps and return to the White Desert, where they may, or may not, emerge in the vicinity of a particular castle in the middle of nowhere.

Well, 'vicinity' would be a gross overestimation. Considering Las Noches's tremendous size, them landing 'near the castle' could very well mean that they were 50 miles away from it. It was just that big. At this point in time, Caballero still thought of the landmark as nothing but a backdrop for Hueco Mundo, just like the moon that never changed positions. They didn't know it was real, and that terrifying people lived inside, including a particular self-proclaimed king with a penchant for tyranny.

Caballero would somehow try to get the rabbit-like Hollow's attention, and communicate their intentions by pointing up and carving a rather crude picture of the dunes and the moon, using Filo as their 'pen' and the rocky floor as a canvas. Caballero did not know whether she had other plans or not, but they'd rather keep an eye on her for as long as possible. That would ensure that she would not be going off to the human world to hunt some more, due to her apparent blood rage. If that actually was her intention, then they would have no option but to intervene and put an end to that threat, but hopefully things would not escalate up until that point. She had been burnt a bit by the spider-like Hollow's magma, so that was one less reason to risk it, and one more to accept their proposal.

In any case, the little knight's destination would be the surface of Hueco Mundo. They still needed to put more of their power as an Adjuchas to the test, trying out their limits so that they could know how to truly use their newly evolved Menos body. All that terrifying power would need to be put to the service of a proper cause, but only time would tell what said cause was. Perhaps Caballero would return to Karakura again, now that they were in full control of their capacities. The raging storm of souls inside them had been practically silenced, and were nothing but an occasional whimper, pushed down and crushed under their Strength of Will.
