-Basic Information-
Name: [Apollo]
Age of Death: [Born in Soul Society]
Real Age/Age of Appearance: [19/19]
Birthday (Month/Day): [6/18]
Blood Type: [O]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: [6/260]
Physical Description: [Apollo has a fair complexion, that is generally covered with the usual dirt and grime that come with living in the rukongai. His dark brown hair is slightly longer than average, spiking out every which way because of how greasy and unwashed it typically is. He has chestnut brown eyes that glimmer with determination. His body is exceptionally chiseled, as if he were a man sculpted from marble. This is something he likes to show off, but as a display of the hard work he's put into maintaining himself, and because he prefers training without a shirt.
He can generally be seen with the bottom half of a training gi in various colors for pants. He likes wearing the white version of this, but those are harder to keep clean, so he usually sticks to wearing red, blue, black, or when he's feeling just that little bit more fancy, gold. Apollo wears thick bandages wrapped around his hands and wrists, to protect himself when training. For footwear, he usually goes without it, but when he does, he likes wearing wooden sandals. When he does wear a shirt, he just throws on the upper half of his gi.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Personality-
Dislikes: [1. Like all good people, Apollo hates seeing injustice. He can't help but step into situations and try and defuse anything, or hopefully put an end to it himself.
2. Rainy days are something of a pet peeve of his. He knows that they're good for nature, and all that good stuff, but it makes it harder to train with all the water getting in his eyes.
3. As much as he tries to keep his Kenpachi nature down, he truly cannot stand a coward. Someone who attacks someone from behind, or attacking a downed opponent. Disgraceful.
4. He can't stand seeing the weak willed, not stand up for themselves. Victims who don't bother to fight back because they're too weak, it infuriates him to no end. If you aren't strong enough to defend yourself now, then get stronger! If you aren't smart enough to figure out how to overcome an obstetrical, then get smarter! Don't just stay the same as you are, grow! Beat anyone who dares to attack you! Become the you that you want to be!
5. Blustering idiots generally get under Apollo's skin. The ones who can't back up their words are even worse.]
Likes: [1. Apollo is a kind person at heart, and he likes to show that by helping people around his village. Sometimes it's helping people carry things, others it's breaking up fights.
2.This young man enjoys working with his hands, especially building things. Little trinkets are nice, build his passion is building homes for people. Giving shelter to others brings such joy to his heart.
3. On his days off, when he isn't out doing things like training or something of the like, he enjoys the quiet, tranquil peace that is reading. He loves books, and genuinely looks forward to finding high quality stories from authors. He even has a small bookshelf for his, admittedly limited, collection.
4. Apollo is a dedicated person, and honing his craft is something that he loves to do. This means things like training and maintaining his figure, or learning better or more efficient ways to build are things he would jump at.
5. Fighting is the ting he loves most in this world. There's a lust for battle that burns deep within his soul, no matter how hard he tried to suppress it. He only ever truly feels alive, when he knows that at any moment, someone might end it.]
Flaws: [1. Apollo would be the first to admit that he is likely too focused on the long term. He spends all his time building himself up, blindly following his path, not thinking about the short term. He can often miss the trees for the forest.
2. He is a very honest young man, and tends to see the best in others. This can lead to situations where he is tricked by a less than savory individual
3. As good natured a person as he is, he can be very blunt. He usually speaks his mind, no matter who it is he is talking to.
4. Apollo loves fighting. It is in his nature, in his blood, deep in his bones. He loves combat as much at the next Kenpachi, and thus wants to see every battle to the end, whatever that conclusion may be.]
Habits: [1. He likes to whistle jaunty tunes from songs that he hears on occasion. He loves bird calls, since he hears them all the time out where he lives. It's so funny when the little guys respond.
2. He has a bad habit of stepping into other people's fights. Not all the time, but when he sees someone getting beaten down or whatnot, he loves to step in and defend the victim.
3. Whenever Apollo thinks that a fight might be coming, he tries him best to defuse the situation, to prevent bloodshed. As much as he loves battle, he doesn't like to hurt those who can't fight back.]
Fears: [As shameful as it is for him to admit, he fears death. He fears not being able to finish all that he had set out to accomplish. He fears that he won't be able to leave anything behind, that no one will morn his passing. He fears that his lineage won't continue, and that he'll have left nothing for the future. He fears being forgotten by everyone, that he's just another faceless, nameless soul that gets used and discarded by the world. It keeps him up some nights, wondering if this is the day that he passes. The day he fails all his goals, and slips into the next world. He fears death for what happens to everything else once he's gone.]
Goals: [Apollo isn't a man that wants for much. Whenever he does want something, he goes out and gets it. He enjoys his simple lifestyle out in the Runkongai, and the peaceful days that he can have on his farm. But there is one thing that he knows that he wants, without a doubt. He wants to be the strongest there is. He wants to be strong, strong enough that not any organization has the strength to stop him. He wants that power, so that he can live in peace with whoever he decided to finally settle down with and marry. He wants his family to not be at risk from any hollow, shinigami, or beast clan. He wants everyone to think long and hard before they dare attack him. Once he archives that level of strength, he will find someone to love.]
Alignment: [Lawful Good]
Overall Personality: [In spite of all the blood, death, and general chaos that runs rampant in the Rukongai, Apollo considers himself a good man. He is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle, and trains diligently to stay in shape. He is the kind of person to go out of his way to help others that he meets along the journey of life. He abstains from vice, like drugs or alcohol, not wanting to ruin his mind, or cloud his judgement in any given scenario. He is also a man set in his ways, and not often open to change. He is stubborn in his decisions, and not easily swayed once he's made up his mind.
He knows that he isn't a perfect person, but he tries to be as close to it as he can. He lives his life with the motto; treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Sure, it gets him into trouble at times, and it can be hard for him to keep his composure some times, but he knows that it'll be worth it in the end. He believes that there's good in everybody, no matter how evil they might seem. All it takes is a little kindness to turn them back onto a better path. Many might call him naive, but he knows that he's right. He knows that people can change.
That being said, he won't stand for leeches. If he feels someone is mooching off him, he'll be quick to cut them off. It helps no one if people become dependent on the kindness of others. His kindness has limits, and he loathes people trying to take advantage of him. He doesn't take well to others trying to get pushy with him, and quickly shows others where the line is. They get one warning, before he lays down the law. He isn't quick to anger, and tries hard to keep it at bay, but it is a scary sight to see once he's given proper reason to be angry.
Apollo has something of an inner demon. Nothing as dramatic as an inner spirit, like the shinigami have, but just a side to him that he considers ugly. Rooted deep within his soul, there is a craving for battle, a lust that is insatiable. The call to battle is strong within him, and it tugs at him whenever he starts to get frustrated. The blurring of his vision, and violent shudder of his body, the adrenaline forcing his blood to flow harder and harder. And the scariest part about it? Apollo loves that feeling. He can often find himself dreaming of fighting whoever strikes his ire on any particular day. He loves combat, which is why he's so forceful a lot of the time, so quick to lay down his law. The temper of Apollo is not something to be underestimated. ]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Powers-
Fighting Style: [Apollo has a rather simple fighting style to him. Mixing boxing with Karate, he largely prefers punching attacks over anything else. He doesn't like a lot of fancy footwork, or over the top flippy and throw-y techniques. He just prefers the tried and true method of breaking someone's face with his fist. He learns how to do those moves, just in case he needs them for whatever reason, but he doesn't like using them. With his left hand, he prefers throwing out a fast series of jabs, while his right hand is used for strong and heavy punches.
His favorite move is running up to someone, jumping a foot into the air, and decking someone in the face. More specifically in the mouth, in an attempt to knock their teeth out. His record is five teeth in one shot, so far. He is a direct fighter, preferring to stick to up-close and personal melee. If he had to describe himself, he would call himself an endurance fighter, either knocking someone out quick from the start, or wearing people down with his his relentless attacks, hammering people with his attack, and his blazing aura.
When facing someone with higher physical capabilities than himself, or when fighting someone who doesn't fight how he considers 'fair', then he activates his Aura to wear them down. He doesn't exactly like overly using his Aura, but he won't exactly hesitate to use it. It is his greatest weapon and tool, but he considers it a tad unfair against weaker opponents. He doesn't want to squander the power of his soul against the unworthy. He considers it akin to using a shotgun to kill a fly. If he doesn't have to use it to beat someone, he won't.]
Kenpachi Ability: [A fire burns in Appolo's soul, and that manifests in his aura, like a golden sun wrapping around him. His Kenpachi ability creates an aura that feeds off all reiatsu caught in its path. People, techniques, and even the ambient reiatsu that lingers in the air, will be sapped of power to fuel the fire that resides inside Apollo. When activated, the area around Apollo heats up, just under the point of burning. The aura that his soul creates is equal to one meter for every 100 rs that Apollo is using.
For every technique that enters the area of effect, half of its reiatsu will be used to fuel the aura. Should Apollo's rs be 150% the offensive strength of the technique, or should Apollo be three classes higher than the technique used, the technique will be incinerated and destroyed, or will not be activated. If the technique is not destroyed, the offensive strength of the technique will be reduced by 25% of Apollo's Rs. Release techniques or properties, including mod soul abilities but excluding hollow techniques, are immune to the destruction portion of this ability, but will cost an additional 25% reiatsu to use, so long as their os isn't 150% or higher than Apollo's RS.
Should someone use a technique from inside his aura, and Apollo has more rs than they have OS, they will need to pay 125% the normal reiatsu cost. If Apollo has 125% or higher Rs to their OS, the cost is increased to 150%. Destroyed techniques will add reiatsu, equal to their offensive strength, to the aura. For every 100 reiatsu that this aura has burned off, it will grow one meter in size, up to 50 meters. The air in the aura will have all reiatsu stripped from it, making it impossible to absorb from, or manipulate, except to people who have a 150% os advantage over Apollo's rs. This ability costs 250 reiatsu per post. Apollo is not immune to the increased costs of techniques, and will be forced to pay 150% the reiatsu costs of techniques, but none of his abilities are destroyed. Apollo can in addition, pay reiatsu costs in order to fuel the expansion of his aura, in increments of 100. The base cost of this technique is not added to the scaling of the aura.]
Pre Approved Techniques:
Technique Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps)
Class: 7
Technique Type: Kidō
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique, the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from Point A to Point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move. Those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it for an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower. This requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become tired more easily in a shorter amount of time. A single step magnifies speed for that step by ten times. Shunpo uses fifty Reiatsu per step. This one is automatically learned in the academy. All Shinigami know this when created. This technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique:
Focus of Reishi around the feet area and launch off into a single blurring step. It is not unlike teleportation in appearance, but it is simply extremely fast movement. It is often used to gain an edge in a single moment of combat or to dodge incoming attacks.

-History-
Birthplace: [The outermost limits of the Rukongai]
Current Residence: [Just outside the Wilds]
Memorable Figures: [None]
History: [Jack had only been given new life a few days ago, and already he was making good use of his second chance. Kitai himself had managed to escape the afterlife once they died, and he had been busy. Their shop they had run while they were alive was actually making money, and they had a plethora of items that did so many fun different things. One of which allowed the user to traverse the different worlds, and Jack was making liberal use of both this item, and his new abilities as a Mod Soul.
He was currently in the Soul Society, exploring the world in its entirety. To be fair, he was in all three worlds exploring, but this Jack was currently in the land of the Soul Reapers. His ability to sense energy was astounding, letting him detect just about everything in the world. Using it to that extent wasn't exactly the most precise at that range. That said, he could still sense powerful individuals at ludicrous distances. They stood out like beacons of light against the flickering fireflies that were the average person.
Once such individual was on the edge of this third world afterlife of wooden shacks and and people that wore kimonos with no pants. It was a strange and backwater place that Jack was positively giddy to walk through. It uplifted his mood to get to walk by so many people worse off than himself, and he took to it like a swan to water. He didn't just walk through the villages, he had a strut to his step, and even got a cane to twirl as he felt all of the hateful glares sent his way.
Some people had already tried to jump him, but he let them share in his perspective, so to speak, and continued on his way. Once he approached the edge of the farm is when he allowed himself to return to his normal gait. His shiny leather shoes were caked in mud from the first few steps, instantly lowering his mood, but after a few minutes, he saw the person he had journeyed all this way for. His name was Apollo, given that name due to his power. It wasn't a Zanpakuto power, nor was it something like his own Mod Soul powers. It was unique, and Jack hated things more unique than himself.
"Hello my good man!" He announced himself loudly. He had caught the man digging graves for a small group of bandits that had jumped him an hour ago. He had heard it happening from across town with his amazing hearing. "I can't help but notice that you seem to be having problems with your security. I am here to lend you my assistance." The man said nothing, but his squinted eyes, and his defensive posture let him know that he was warry of him. It made his heart swell with pride that he can intimidate such a powerful individual.
As he approached the man, he produced a card from his sleeve. "My 'brother', is forming a group of powerful individuals from all walks of life, both in this world and the next. I am the talent agent sent to recruit them." He handed the man the card, who gingerly took it, switching between reading it, and keeping his eyes on him. He leaned on his shovel as he did so. Jack leaned on his own cane with both hands, giving the man a once over with his exceptionally powerful eyes. He was shorter than he himself was, but his build was powerful. Jack could tell exactly how powerful this man was, and he knew the man could fold him over his knee and fold him.
This little inconvenience was something that the newborn Mod Soul despised, but Kitai would enjoy having someone of this man's caliber in his pocket. After a solid minute, the man raised his eyebrow and spoke for the first time since he arrived. "I don't even know your name, and yet you so confidently walk onto my land, offering me a job to join a 'Shop', and expect me to take you seriously?" He placed the paper into a side pocket. "You offer is a joke. I have no reason to trust you." He was as blunt as he looked, it seemed.
It seemed that this would take some more convincing to get the simpleton on his side. Luckily, his energy sensory provided him plenty of insider information on the man. "Just call me the Salesman. My true name is a bit dangerous, you see." He gave the man a sideways wink, as if he were telling him some grand secret, still leaning on his cane. "I know this might seem a bit sudden and out of the blue, but my word is good! I'm offering you a chance to explore the lands of the living, and a chance to tussle with some powerful individuals."
He offered a bit of personal temptation for the man, eyes widening slightly. "You would be hired for security, but we'd give you land equal to what you have now, and then some. You would revive new tools, better accommodations, a shirt." Jack motioned to the lack of upper clothing on the man, who looked nonplused at that particular offer, though he could tell that the rest of what he was saying was getting to him. "The luxuries of the living world put this world to shame. Even the paupers of our lands live better than any king out in the sticks of the Rukongai."
He was thinking it over harder than he had before, but he was still warry of him. "Not to mention, our leader is a very influential person. Kitai sells some of the most valuable merchandise in all the realms, and thus attracts powerful people. Powerful people who seek to steal from him. Powerful people who you would be justified in fighting." His eyes lit up at that. Hook line and sinker. Jack pulled out a doorknob, held it up in the air, and manifested a door, opening it. "I am here to give you a tour. If you're not happy with the job, I can bring you back. All I ask is you give it a chance." The man thought hard, internally debating on what to do. Jack could hear it all, and he decided to nudge it a bit. Finally, the man nodded, and stepped through the door.]
{Techniques That need Approval}Technique Name: [Way of the Bird]
Technique Class: [4-1]
Technique Type: [General Physical]
Usable By: [Any Race]
Technique Element: [Physical, if any]
Technique Cost: [N/A]
Description: [A martial arts technique used to mimic the forms of animals. To use this, the user launches themselves into the air, holding their arms out to the side to mimic the posture of a bird, as they descend on their opponents with a flying kick.
Each class of this technique is based on a different type of bird, with each building upon the pervious effect.
Crane: The user hops, launching a kick at their opponent. This kick can deflect projectiles and techniques with a lesser class or OS to the user's strength, moving at the user's speed.
Eagle: The user jumps high into the air, five feet or higher, and falls at their opponent, launching a kick at them. This kick creates an air funnel that forces all techniques away from the user with a lesser class, or with a lower OS to the user's Strength, while moving at the user's speed.
Roc: Based on the mythical beast, the user leaps into the air ten feet or higher, and dropping towards their opponent at an astonishing speed, equal to 150% of the user's speed. The air itself moves out of the user's way, making a screeching sound as they move, batting away projectiles and techniques with less OS than the user's Strength, or with a lower class.
Phoenix: Launching themselves an astonishing fifteen feet into the air or higher, the user descends upon their prey with the might of a beast of myth. Their air around them burns, burning in the shape of a flaming bird, destroying any projectile or technique that lacks a 50% superiority over the user's Strength, and creating an explosion when the kick lands, equal to one foor for every 50 strength the user has. The user moves at a speed equal to 150% of their speed for this kick.
User learns this technique at their class, minimum of class 4, but the class of this technique is based on the user's Strength, before multipliers. Cannot use classes outside the user's range.]
How to Use: [Described above.]
Drawbacks: [Buildup time, as the user fall to preform this kick successfully. Overuse of this technique will cause tears in the user's muscles, if used two posts in a row. In order to use this technique, you must have a minimum of 400 strength, with each class requiring 100 more strength to use.]

Technique Name: [Way of the Snake]
Technique Class: [4-1]
Technique Type: [General Physical]
Usable By: [Any Race]
Technique Element: [Physical, if any]
Technique Cost: [N/A]
Description: [A martial arts technique used to mimic the forms of animals. To use this technique, the user crouches slightly, and holds their arms out, mimicking the posture of a snake ready to strike. Moving forward, they strike at any weak spots they see on an opponent.
Each class of this technique is based on a different type of snake, with each building upon the pervious effect.
Black Mamba: The user launches their hand forward, striking with their middle finger, their index finger, and their thumb, striking at a point on their opponent, using 75% of their strength, moving at 125% of their speed.
King Cobra: The user throws their hands forward, striking with the three fingers mentioned above. Using both hands, the strikes are launched one after another at 150% of their speed, with 75% of their strength.
Wurm: The user is aiming for something different with this strike. Still they throw fast attacks, striking with the aforementioned three fingers, but this strike is meant to do something more. The user of this technique will attempt to tear at their opponent, digging their fingers into the foe. Their fingers dig into their flesh like snake fangs, wrapping around their bones like the hungry mouth of a beast, before ripping out whatever they manage to get their hands on. Using the full strength of the user, they are able to pull out entire bones, depending on the difference in strength. Should the difference in their strength be 200 or more, each strike can rip out a bone. Should their be a skin defense, the user can rip off two inches of skin for every 100 strength difference between the OS of that defense, and the Strength of the user. There is no strength difference requirement for soft spots like the eyes or throat. Moves at 150% for two strikes.
Hydra: The user is proficient enough, and accurate enough, that they can now strike with pin point accuracy seven times in what seems like an instant. Their hands leave brief afterimages of serpents lunging for the kill. These strikes use the user's strength, and move at twice the user's speed.
User learns this technique at their class, minimum of class 4, but the class of this technique is based on the user's Speed, before multipliers. Cannot use classes outside the user's range.]
How to Use: [Described above]
Drawbacks: [This tires the user out a great deal when used. On top of the stamina costs for moving at high speeds, striking a target strong enough to resist the strength difference can break the user's fingers. Using this attack more than once every three posts will tear the muscles in the user's arms, rendering them unusable for the remainder of the thread. In order to use this technique, you must have a minimum of 400 speed, with each class requiring 100 more speed to use.]

Technique Name: [Way of the Cricket]
Technique Class: [4-1]
Technique Type: [General Physical]
Usable By: [Any Race]
Technique Element: [Physical, if any]
Technique Cost: [N/A]
Description: [A martial arts technique used to mimic the forms of animals. This technique is a kind of humming whistle that the user produces with their mouth, making a persistent shockwave in the area around the user. Unlike some of the other techniques in the 'Way of the Animal' line, increasing the class of the technique makes it sound like there are more bugs from the noise.
Locus: This noise shakes the air around the user, sounding like a swarm of locus. Starting at 600 strength, the air five feet around shakes and strikes everything around them. Every 100 strength past 600 increases the area by three feet.
User learns this technique at their class, minimum of class 4, but the class of this technique is based on the user's Strength, before multipliers. Cannot use classes outside the user's range.]
How to Use: [Mentioned above]
Drawbacks: [User needs a minimum of 600 strength to learn and use this technique. This technique can be used as long as the user can draw breath, or create a whistle, but this technique also hurts the user. If used two posts in a row, this technique is liable to burst the user's eardrums, or internal organ or even brain damage should it be used for three posts in a row or more.]

Technique Name: [Way of the Llama]
Technique Class: [Class 4]
Technique Type: [General Physical]
Usable By: [Any Race]
Technique Element: [Physical, if any]
Technique Cost: [N/A]
Description: A martial arts technique used to mimic the forms of animals. As a technique inspired by the mighty Llama, this technique is preformed by spitting at an opponent. By spitting, the user launches a wad of saliva in a chosen direction, moving at a speed equal to the user's strength, with an os equal to their strength. This is considered a shockwave, and is classless. The user can improve the strength of this technique, by chewing and spitting something with IP from their mouths instead.]
How to Use: [Mentioned above]
Drawbacks: [While this technique can be used every post, if preformed twice in one post, it will dry the user's mouth out for a post, preventing them from preforming it until it is no longer dry.]
