A soft humming escaped Yui's lips as she walked the desolate streets. Everything around felt so... Empty. As one could've expected, life itself seemed to almost have evaporated entirely. Some city in Northern Japan had been wiped almost entirely clean. Though, it wasn't by Yui herself. Quite the opposite; she was here actively searching for such a reason as to why everything seemed to disappear.

"Hmm," she mumbled to herself, taking the opportunity to examine debris and crumbled buildings, "I've... still got nothing." With a sigh and a simple pout, the girl placed a hand to her chin in contemplation. Given the sheer size of the devastation that remained within the city, there was no fathomable way that this was from only one being. There was far too much damage, and damage that stretched far too far in order to reasonably account for that.

Though, something wasn't quite sitting right with her on that matter either. If damage was this noticeable, and next to nothing remained of the human lives in the area, what had become of the attackers? Would they not have stuck around for some reason? She supposed not, if they happened to be hollows or something of the like, but to wipe out an entire city? Almost within the span of an hour? Such a feat seemed to be a bit much, even for a small group of Vasto Lordes. Given the likely population of the area before the attack, there was almost no way.

But unfortunately, the question still remained; what had caused this much damage? Would she find out at some point soon? She had no way of telling. Though, if those that caused the attacks weren't hollows, just what were they? More importantly, what on earth was the reason behind these attacks happening in the first place? It was starting to give her a bit of a headache, all things considered.

This is quite strange for Shawn, not something he's used to dealing with. For some reason the entirety of Karakura is abandoned, but not before some kind of attack took place. Buildings were still crumbling as he made his way through the desolate streets. Not even an insect remained in this ghost town, though that isn't even the correct term as there isn't even a spirit walking around. There was the occasional fire lit, but other than that not even the wind seemed to be moving, which just made this whole experience much creepier.



While Shawn was walking along he readjusted the two items he currently carried on his hips. On his right side was a Jian sword, the blade of which was 28" which is pretty normal for that type of sword. The other thing on his left side was an empty glass bottle that had a cork sealing it shut, an item he really hasn't had to use often but there was no doubt it was the more useful between the two. There was another thing he had on him other than his usual captains cloak that had the kanji for thirteen on his left arm, which was the Zanpakuto that also happened to be a 28" Jian sword. This sword, however, was his Zanpakuto and not just another item anyone could buy in the Soul Society.



Wandering around for awhile Shawn started to pick up on something, he could swear he could hear a heartbeat in this empty town. Heading towards the direction he would eventually spot the source of the noise. It was a woman, walking around also seemingly doing their own investigation. *Is that someone from Uzaki Enterprise? No, it couldn't be. Uzaki Enterprise was one of the rubble heaps, so it was highly unlikely to be someone from there.*



Shawn was lost in thought, and due to this he accidentally kicked a rock causing it to skip over the cement creating enough racket for the girl to notice. This action would snap him from his stupor, causing him to meet the woman's eye's. Well, now was probably the best time to speak up, "You wouldn't by chance know what happened here? I got a message of a disturbance and was sent to check it out."

Taken aback immediately from the sound of a rock stumbling down onto the concrete, Yui immediately drew her blade and turned around. Her breath quickly grew ragged, given her current stress levels. As she looked up toward Shawn, making immediate note of the fact that a Captain had come to deal with the situation at hand, she tensed up. There had to be an overlap of interests here; there was no way that wasn't going to be the case, all things considered. She was a criminal, after all. The question remained though, just how dutybound was this Captain?

"You wouldn't by chance know what happened here? I got a message of a disturbance and was sent to check it out."

So, he was here too in order to investigate? "N-No," she stuttered, "I know about as much as you do... I'm j-just here to look around!" Despite her words, Yui still held her ground. She didn't trust the Shinigami; she didn't have a reason to do so at all. Given she'd spent most of her life on the run thus far, with numerous skirmishes against those looking to bring her back as a hostage, she wasn't going to take a chance like that. So long as he backed off, she was more than content with simply turning a blind eye to Shawn and-

My dear Yui, please don't tell me you trust this man, do you~?

Yuki. Of all the times he had felt the need to interject, it had been now. Why had he decided to speak up about this? Wh-What? Come now, dear, you know quite as well as I do that not everything is as it seems~ What makes you think that this man is doing anything more than lying to you~? He's a Shinigami, there's no care for the damage here; he's merely here to detain you~! And, we can't have that, now can we~? Shaking her head, Yui tried to clear her mind. Clear Yuki's thoughts from her head. But, to no real avail.

In truth? She knew he was probably right. There was no way that this man before her was anything more than your standard zealous member of the Gotei 13; she'd dealt with enough of them over the years. She knew the type well. And she wasn't going to fall into the trap of one of them that thought they could pull a fast one on her. No, instead? She'd make the first attack! A pained gleaming of water in her eyes, Yui immediately began to make her move.

Pointing her palm toward Shawn, Yui mentally spoke the names of four separate Kidō; Hadō #4: Byakurai! Hadō #69: Houkou Karasu! Hadō #1: Shō! Bakudō #1: Sai! It was then that the girl's proficiency for the magical arts made itself apparent. Instead of simply 'chain-casting' these spells back to back, they were instead put into one singular release of Reiatsu, forming all four separate spells together into one amalgamation technique; a telltale sign of Kidō Fusion.

Released from the girl's palm was that of an incredibly fast-flying, violent burst of electricity and storming winds. Winds that severely threatened to deafen those that even so much as heard them roar. Flying forward at a speed of 1,000, these winds threatened to not only slash deep into Shawn if he came in contact with them, but also electrocute the Shinigami, and force his arms behind his back on contact, prompting not only binding, but more lacerations for moving in the windstorm. A powerful opening attack, but one needed to test the strength and know-how of her opponent.

{Kidō Fusion Technique}
Technique Name: Secret Art: Kido Fusion

Technique Class: 2 - 180 TTP

Technique Type: General Shinigami - Kido.

Usable By: Shinigami, Vizard, Rogues.

Technique Element: Varies.

Technique Cost: Varies.

Description: This Technique allows the user to fuse two or more kido together before they are fired, making their arsenal more varied and creative for what spell they need at a given moment. This is the ultimate mastery of kido, and thus needs one of two requirements. Either the user must be a Technique Master and have 4 SKP in kido skills, or they must have spent 7 SKP in kido skills, such as kido itself and Mental Incantation. The Analysis Skill also adds to that SKP amount, since the user is able to analyze and deconstruct kido at a conceptual level. If they are not a Technique Master, who inherently have the ability to replicate techniques they see and understand, they must also be trained by someone who knows this technique.

But what exactly -is- kido Fusion? Put simply, it is the ability to borrow parts of two kido in order to mash them together in the way that the user needs. This is done by a system of "Form" and "Effect". All kido can be broken down into those two categories. They have physical shapes, and they have effects. For example, Hado #4: Byakurai has the Form of a Beam and the Effect of the Electrical element. Some kido can have more than one effect, since some are complicated, and the user can borrow which ones they need. Elements are always an option for the user to borrow.

But what do you mean borrow? Mash them together? Put simply, the user takes a Form, and at least one Effect, and combines them. Byakurai + Sho could make an electrical projectile. It could not make an electrical projectile that pushes, since Sho is donating its form. Exceptions will be included later when costs are described. Basically, Sho donates its Form, which is a small projectile, and takes on the element from Byakurai. It could also create a piercing projectile, since Byakurai do pierce. The flexibility is what makes this technique versatile and strong. When figuring out Class for clash purposes, the user may choose which class is dominant. So if you fuse a Class 5 and a Class 7, the result may be Class 7 or Class 5.

If this technique is Mastered, then the user can combine more than two kido together. This is done by multiple kido contributing Effects to one Form. So a Fusion of Sho (Form), Byakurai, and Shakkaho could be a small electrical projectile that explodes on contact with something. Or a Fusion of Sho, Byakurai, Shakkaho, and Tsuzuri Raiden (Form) could be a wave of electrical force that pushes things away and explodes. The combinations become much crazier when the technique is mastered.

But what about crazy high leveled kido that become so ridiculously overpowered when they are fused? Can you just imagine Sharknado being fused with Soukahou to fire infinite tornados of sharks?? That is a serious possibility, but there are limitations to this technique that avoid that amount of overpowered techniques being fused. Every Class of kido has a point value. For Class 8 it is 0, all the way up to Class 0 which is 8 points. The User's Class is what determines how many points they have to use. A class 1 character can't fuse anything into a Class 1 kido that isn't a Class 8 kido, for example. A class 1 character could, however, fuse 7 Class 7 techniques into one mega attack, though it would still be Class 7 for clash purposes. Mastering this technique grants one extra point, however Class 0 kido can still not be fused with anything else. Due to giving up release in order to master techniques, Technique Masters inherently have 1 more point to work with for their fusions.

Drawbacks: Obviously there are Drawbacks to using so many kido like this in ways they were not designed to be used. The first Drawback is simple. Any and all drawbacks that are associated with the technique are inflicted on the user, no matter how small a part of the kido is used. If you fuse Sharknado into something in order to do nothing more than give it the joke element of Shark, then the limb that fires that technique will receive cuts. If the effect of a kido is caused by an action, such as Baundo Zetsumei's effect of multiplying -when- it changes direction, then the effect of multiplying cannot be added unless it comes with the added "when it changes direction". The -only- exception to this is situational drawbacks. Situational Drawbacks are more like limitations. For example, "Kiss of New Breath" is a Kaido that cannot be used on yourself because you cannot kiss yourself. This is a limitation, not a drawback. By fusing this kido into another medium, you would be able to administer it to yourself at possibly reduced efficiency.

Now for Cost. The cost of using this technique is equivalent to each part of the technique. So fusing two Class 7 techniques will put you down 25 reiatsu each, for a total of 50 reiatsu lost. It is also physically and spiritually demanding to fuse techniques. While Technique Masters and those with a 4 in kido might be able to fuse much more, even they will start to become weary and fatigued by fusing to their max amount of points frequently. For kido, Bakudo in particular, that are considered "auto-hits", like Haihin, when fused into anything the auto-hit property is considered neither an Effect nor part of the Form, and is simply lost in the fusion.

{Houkou Karasu}
Technique Name: [Hado #69: Houkou Karasu (Crow's Shriek)]

Technique Type: Kido

Technique Element: None

Technique Description and Effects:

As the Kidou activates, strong winds will begin to swirl around the caster, catching objects and projectiles. If the enemy's Reiastu Strength is 100 or less than the caster's, then the enemy's reiastu-based attacks will be dissipated in the raging winds. The thing that is offset is that while the winds are raging where the kidou is being cast will, the area will become virtually silent. After fifteen seconds the winds will blow outward on all sides, even above and below the caster in a no blind spot blast around them. The winds whip forward at speeds of 150 miles an hour. A side effect of the attack is that when the winds are unleashed, the winds will howl furiously. It will break the concentration of anyone with senses of 150+, and will shatter the ear drums of anyone with senses around 300.

How to use technique:

Simply state the kidou and stay still, It is absolutely imperative you stay still as moving into the path of the winds will slice deep gashes into the body.

Technique Drawbacks:

The same effect that will damage the enemy's senses also will damage the caster's senses, and even the caster's ally's senses. The caster also can not move, as the winds that are formed move fast enough to dissipate hardened reiastu, they can and will leave deep gashes on the body.

Incantation and Effect:

Incantation doubles the speed of the technique. ("It will descend, it will abscend, it will up-end. The end is coming, the word has fallen, the night has laid its toll. The clock spells midnight and the doom spells time, and the end will soon arrive. Worry not, little pigeon. Worry not, my minx, or my slave, or my wife, or my children. Worry not at all. You will not hear it coming. None of you will hear a thing.")

Technique Description and Effects: This technique creates a simple burst of force that pushes at the opponent backwards. The force is equal to the user’s Reiatsu Strength.

Incantation and Effect: Incantation unknown. When the incantation is spoken, the Reiatsu Strength used to determine the power of Sho is increased by 10%. (i.e. 100 Reiatsu Strength is treated as 110.)

Incantation and Effect: "Arise god of thunder! Awake mother of storms! Unleash the lighting on the sinners!" When the incantation is spoken, the Reiatsu Strength used to determine the power of Byakurai is increased by 10%. (i.e. 100 Reiatsu Strength is treated as 110.)

Technique Description and Effects:

Causes the target's arms to lock in place behind their back.

How to use technique:

Physical contact is required from the hand of the caster to any part of the body of the target.

Incantation and Effect:

Incantation increases the strength behind the technique by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength of 100 would instead be valued at 110 for this technique.) "Man, shaped by Divine hands, revert to the form before limbs, clutch at your own throat and be afraid!"

It seems this girl was willing to speak with Shawn even though he startled her. "N-No," she stuttered, "I know about as much as you do... I'm j-just here to look around!" She looked nervous, but suddenly her demeanor changed into that of being lost in thought. This certainly confused him, why did she suddenly turn so calm and unaware with the situation happening right now. Slowly she seemed to be coming out of her own mind, even going the distance of shaking her head as if to snap out of a mental stupor.



Then Shawn would immediately smell something salty, Is she shedding a tear? He would only just have this thought travel through his mind when she pointed her palm towards him. This was bad, he knew the signs of a Kido casting and this was the beginning of such. In fact he could hear the muscles of her arm and hand contracting as he presumed her to focus reiatsu through them. Grasping onto his Zanpakuto sitting on his back Shawn released his Shikai saying the words "Reach Out, Kami no te", quickly as he can he unsheathed the blade that was currently the form of a Jian blade.



A sudden calmness falls over Shawn after releasing, everything comes into more focus while he takes in all of the surroundings. It seems he released just in time as the girl sent a massive Kido at him. In fact Shawn thought it seemed like an amalgamation of a few Kido together, so if this hit him it would be bad. Speaking the words Watashi kara gekitai a large amount of reiatsu surges from Kami no te, with that surge gravity would almost surge to the right but only where the Kido is. Causing the blast to veer away from him and miss.



Taking this opportunity Shawn would then say the words "Yōku o fuyasu" while pointing his Zanpakuto to the spot above Yui. At this moment gravity would form a puck 10 feet above the girl, the puck is 3 feet wide and 3 feet thick. Once formed it would then fall downwards at Yui at a speed of 400 with an OS of 1400, If she didn't move it would absolutely squash her flat. Shawn was not a fan of going for the kill, but when he felt like it was the only option, he would. Taking that time he would also place his left hand on this captains cloak casting Bakudo #81: Danku (Splitting Void) inside a Bakudo #55: Mutsohoyo (Painless Embrace) mentally.

{Watashi kara gekitai}Expelling a large amount of reiatsu allows the redirection of ranged attacks, this will not change the direction of a weapon in the opponents hand unless it becomes a ranged attack (While used in Bankai this technique can also disperse static Aoe attacks and effect multiple ranged attacks)/ Activation Cost: 150 in Shikai (200 in Bankai to disperse Static Aoe techniques, can be used every post but increases in cost by 100 until 2 posts have gone by for not dispersing static Aoe's. 500 when effeecting more than 5 ranged attacks at once.)

Limits: This only works on ranged attacks directed at the user (While in Bankai it will also disperse static Aoe technique's, this only affects the Aoe techs (Specifically Techniques) that are within the 30 meter range of his Zanpakuto and only disperses it for that post and not indefinitely. It can also effect multiple ranged attacks in Bankai, up 1 ranged attack per 10 Instinct). If the ranged attack or technique has higher OS than Shawn, this technique fails to work.

{Yōku o fuyasu}Sending a large burst of reiatsu into the spot where Shawn points his Zanpakuto, gravity becomes visible taking on the shape of a 3 foot wide and 3 inch thick puck. This gravity puck will fall from the spot created at 400 speed and with the force of Shawn's OS (In Bankai Shawn may use his hands to use this technique). Activation cost: 200 reiatsu

Limits: If targeting an enemy it may only be created 10 feet above them, the creation process is instantaneous though.

Technique Description and Effects:

This is a sealing technique. It is used not to seal the enemy however, but to seal another Kido. This has two distinct effects. The first is that it can be used to seal a Kido inside of an object, which for the next hour can instantly activate that Kido at any time at will of the user, even if left behind somewhere. It costs the cost of this technique and the cost of the Kido in question. That is one way of using it. The second is more effective. This can seal a technique inside of an enemy or an ally. The technique in question has its reiatsu broken down by the enemy or ally, who then gains extra reiatsu to use. The full reiatsu put into the technique, except for this Bakudo, goes into the enemy. Therefore, if Hado #88 was sealed in the enemy or ally, all of that reiatsu simply converts into 600 reiatsu for the enemy to use.

The trouble comes there. If the enemy or ally is given reiatsu that causes them to go over their current cap, they must spend all excess in their next post, or their body will explode from the excess and they will die. This can be used at the start of the fight as a bomb technique on suspecting enemies.

How to use technique:

To seal a technique inside of the enemy, the user needs to have physical contact with the part of the body that they will be sealing the technique into. They then activate this technique and pay the cost for it and the technique they wish to seal within the foe. Alternatively, the same is said of an object. Seal this into an object with physical contact with the object, and then use the object as one sees fit. The object automatically releases the Kido if the user gets up to a mile away from it. The object also cannot exceed the user in size.

Technique Drawbacks:

This technique leaves behind physical remnant of techniques. This means that if one were to use a stone based Kido that made stone, while the reiatsu would go into an ally, the stones would still form and remain behind. The same is true of an object, which would become filled by stones. This makes it highly implausible to use elemental Kido on objects or allies. Things such as fire, wind, or lightning, which are only temporary elements that cannot be long lasting can still be used, and they will have no remnants, and instead will just convert directly into reiatsu.

Incantation and Effect):

The incantation causes the class of the Kido imbued to go up by one, resulting in a higher class Kido for the cost of one class lower. For example, if a class 5 Kido is imbued, the incantation causes it to be valued at class 4 instead. It uses the same cost as a class 5 Kido however, the only extra cost being that of this technique. Technique Description and Effects:

Creates a clear, very high and wide barrier of reiatsu instantaneously in front of the user. Can be used to block reiatsu attacks, low level physical attacks, and any Kido from numbers 1-89, though this is also still dependent on the user's reiatsu strength.

How to use technique:

This can be cast with mental thought, with hand motions, or with naming it. This requires no special movements for casting.

Incantation and Effect:

The strength of the technique goes up 40% from incantation. (I.E. Reiatsu strength valued at 100 is instead valued at 140 during incantation.) "Barrier of dust, shield of north, protector of Men! Arise from ashes and reveal our weakness. Dissolve into air and hide our sins! On altars of greed we call you. In graves of virtue we worship you. Bind, scatter, reduce to ash! Firing off her fused spell, and watching it quickly veer off course, Yui sighed softly to herself. She'd need to force the release of that sooner than she'd anticipated; given her mastery over the added effects of Houkou Karasu within the fused spell itself, she primed the technique to detonate earlier than she would've liked. As the technique so much as started to change direction, the wind-blast exploded outward with a deafening roar of winds and electricity. Thanks to her own sensory capabilities, this was likely going to result in nothing more than a loud booming. Shawn, however, was not likely to be so lucky, with an extreme likelihood to be left with immense pain from his ears, and deaf in both.

As her spell detonated, and she became keenly aware of the concentration of reiatsu above her, Yui took the opportunity to clear out of the way of the strike; she wasn't going to find herself caught up in the blast if she could help it, as something like that was bound to bring her exponential harm if it had succeeded. Through the utilization of Shunpo, holding her speed back to half of what she'd normally be able to function at, the girl took the opportunity to step much closer to Shawn; namely to his left, directly within his personal space.

Without so much as a single movement from her own body, and without a single word from her own mouth, Yui took the opportunity to cast another fused spell; this time at point-blank range. Her spells of choice were Byakurai, Sōkatsui, and Amimono Shimokumo. Donating the lightning-fast, piercing form of Byakurai, while combining the scorching flames of Sōkatsui and chilling winds of Amimono, Yui sought to run the Shinigami through. If he found himself hit, he was in for a rather explosive reaction given how immense heat collided with ice.

Regardless of whether her attack was going to land or not, Yui cleared some distance once more between the two of them, holding her Zanpakutō out to her side. If her opponent was going to be releasing, it only fit that she'd follow in suit and do so as well. "Weave, Kōri no Itto~!" As she finished speaking, and her blade changed shape, in her hand then stood a rather massive sewing needle. From the eye of the needle, a glittering pink strand of Reishi-thread wrapped from the weapon, around Yui's left wrist. With a soft sigh, she tapped the weapon's point against the ground, instantly sewing some of this thread into the ground beneath her feet. Her set-up had begun.

"Please... Forgive me for what's to come." As she finished speaking, Yui began to mentally recite the incantation for one of the most powerful spells in her arsenal, once again fusing this one into another; namely, Byakurai. As the Reiryoku in the air around her, both from hers and Shawn's own expenditure being utilized for the super-weapon of a Kidō that Yui began to cast, the ground beneath both of their feet began to tremble before bursting forth with explosive pressure. As tectonic plates began to shift and smash into one another, a chunk of earth rose above the ground, almost launching out from beneath the surface. From that large hole in the ground, five noteworthy reiatsu manifestations burst forth.

Five masses of intense, bustling reiatsu made themselves ever apparent in the shape of glittering pink dragons, all primed directly around Yui; each one primed to strike, simply awaiting a command from the girl as necessary. Watching her opponent with intense eyes, Yui prepared herself for what was to come; for the foe she was now forced to square off against in the next few moments. As each dragon crackled and thundered with electricity, she prepared for an incoming strike and mentally commanded each of these dragons to defend her as necessary.

It basically allows to freeze surfaces that the weapon stabs into, It works best on walls and the ground but it creeps at an average pace. However the amazing use of it's power is its ability to flash freeze water, and any one who would be in that source of water would find themselves hindered and stuck, not only immobile but also having their body heat being sucked out by the immense cold.

How to use technique:

Call out the technique and thrust your choice weapon into the surface to start the kido.

Technique Drawbacks

If you're not careful you can end of slipping on the ice or if your in the water yourself you can flash freeze yourself into the ice as well. as well as reiatsu cost.

Incantation and Effect:

The incantation allows this to be used on plant life as well as water. ("Birds, trees, humans, demons, and even angels. All must bow before the unrelenting might of the cold. All can die if their fingers are numbed to the bone. There is no escape from the heart of Winter!"

Technique Name: Hado #99 - Goryūtenmetsu (Five Swirling Dragons of Destruction)

Description: Considered to be a forbidden Kido, Goryūtenmetsu holds quite a devastating power behind it. Upon spending the reiatsu cost to activate this technique, the ground beneath the user and within fifty feet will immediately begin to crack and crumble, forcing the user upward on a pillar about thirty feet into the air. From these fractures in the ground, five massive, draconic reiatsu manifestations will burst forth from the ground. These dragons move at 800 speed, and are controllable by the user. Their appearance will generally always remain the same, but the color of these manifestations will match the user's own reiatsu coloration. Goryūtenmetsu's dragons will last for a maximum of three posts, before needing to refresh this technique.

Goryūtenmetsu holds its standing as a forbidden Kido for one simple reason; this technique actively draws from the reiryoku in the surrounding area in order to activate its effects. As such, when using this technique, the user can forgo paying some of this reiatsu out of their own pool to instead draw from the environment; if done in this way, the cost of this technique will be reduced by half of the total reiatsu spent from all participants since, and including the user's last post. This has the potential to make this technique free.

How to Use: Channel reiatsu from the user, or draw on reiryoku from the environment in order to cast. Create dragons.

Drawbacks: Goryūtenmetsu has a cost greater than a standard Class 1 technique. Drawing in reiryoku from the environment can only be done every other cast or refresh of Goryūtenmetsu. This is a Forbidden Kido. While first use result in a strict warning, a second use of this technique will result in immediate expulsion from Soul Society, including use in an NDE thread.

Incantation: "Thy Lord of Destruction, quintessence of equality, and bane of existence. Reach from the core of this world, spread thy maw and reach out toward the skyline! Rip asunder the foundations of life, tear to shreds the aspects of death. Bring about thine divine finality upon this world, and suffice as the harbinger of termination for all those deemed unfit to continue forth! Wipe this slate clean; begin anew from the ashes of your divine retribution! Hado #99; Goryūtenmetsu!" With the incantation, this spell gets a 50% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 140 with incantation). Additionally, the user may also double the speed of the dragons, or instead count all of the reiatsu spent since, and including, their last post as payment for this technique.

{Zanpakuto Overall Ability}
Kōri no Ito at its core is a Zanpakuto with the ability to produce thin threads of ice. These threads, while fully-physical in nature, cut with a force equal to Yui's Reiatsu Strength, much like her Zanpakuto. While the girl's methods of producing and weaponizing this thread will differ based on her released state, her threads function almost entirely the same between both Shikai and Bankai. These threads possess a durability similar to Yui's own Zanpakuto; in order to break through a thread in one clean attack, someone requires twice Yui's Reiatsu Strength in their primary Offensive Stat. Consecutive hits will still wear down these threads, but will not break them in one clean hit.

As one can expect, Kōri no Ito's threads and ice are incredibly cold to the touch; so much so, that even immediate contact is enough to begin numbing the contact point. With prolonged exposure, that area of someone's body will likely be frozen and frostbitten, completely down to the bone. Liquids that come in contact with Yui's threads will be immediately frozen over, provided they are created from a lower Spiritual Offensive Stat that Yui's Reiatsu Strength, still following standard Clash rules. This freezing process requires three consecutive posts of exposure to the cold created from Yui's release, increased by one post for every Rank in Cold Tolerance an individual has. While certainly a slow process, Kōri no Ito's entire toolkit is designed to speed up that process as much as possible. If struck non-consecutively, exposed areas will require a total of five hits to that area in order to freeze, increased by one hit for every Rank in Cold Tolerance an individual has. Unless otherwise specified, only one hit per area is counted per post (if the left arm is struck twice in the same post, only one hit will count. If both arms are struck in the same post, both arms will count as taking one hit from that post). While immune to the non-consecutive effects of her powers, Yui is not immune to the consecutive effects of her abilities.

Being incredibly thin threads of an already translucent material, Yui's ice threads require 150 Senses in order to be able to easily track and see. By doubling the reiatsu cost every time she utilizes her threads, she can cause this Senses requirement to increase by 150 (this extra value being reduced by 50 for every 1 Rank in Battle Analysis or Focused Eye, to a minimum of 0), as the threads are produced in a way that makes them even less reflective than they already were. Naturally those that see her place or utilize her threads are given the option to remember where she did so, but this is not guaranteed to be wholly accurate all of the time.

While connecting points with her threads, Yui's thread will follow her at her own speed, leaving a trail of thread where she moves her blade or fans. While separate from her, thread travels at a speed equal to her Reiatsu Strength. When sewing thread to a location or entity, she can choose to have this thread remain loosely connected, or pulled taught for no difference in cost. When pulling on thread, this will allow Yui to pull on the entire thread, applying a similar amount of force through the whole thread at her Reiatsu Strength when tugged. Naturally this makes setting up traps a much more viable method than simply fighting head-on. Breaking a thread from her fans or sword costs no reiatsu to do, and can be sewed into a material or entity at a distance by paying double the normal cost to do so.

Yui can make the choice to suppress the icy effects of her threads, halving any reiatsu costs spent when making said threads or utilizing techniques. In order to make them begin to freeze, the difference between what was paid and the normal reiatsu cost must be spent. The cutting aspects of her thread can be suppressed and activated as she desires, for no difference in cost. When pulling a thread, Yui is able to alter which set-up threads are pulled in turn, so long as they're still connected to the thread she's actively pulling.

{Shikai Overall Ability}
In Shikai, Kōri no Ito takes the form of a large sewing needle-like sword. As one can expect, this weapon excels at making use of Yui's threads, and focuses heavily on being able to do so. Upon releasing Kōri no Ito, the eye of the needle is immediately primed with thread. While this might be the case however, Kori no Ito does function somewhat differently from a normal sewing needle. By touching a surface, individual, or other entity with the tip of the sword, Yui can sew her threads of ice to that surface, functioning like an actual sewing needle without requiring that it go all the way through said surface. This costs 10 reiatsu every time she touches a surface, with the reiatsu cost nullified if the sword does go all the way through. As she desires, Yui is capable of throwing her Zanpakuto, sending it flying forward in a straight line at a speed equal to her Reiatsu Strength.

It was getting to be pretty clear, Shawn was not going to easily defeat this opponent. While he was forcing the first fusion cast to miss him, the girl had the idea of making this battle much more difficult. If he didn't have as high of senses as he did, he may have been way less fazed by what's about to happen. On the other hand it was only because of his high senses he was able to hear tiny explosions quickly getting louder and larger. Opening his mouth quickly while slamming his hands over his ears to block out some noise, the attack went boom.



The blast didn't even reach Shawn, however, the deafening noise certainly did. If he didn't react the way he did, he would most certainly have had his eardrums exploded causing him to go deaf until he could get them healed. Thankfully his reaction saved him from that experience, the problem is he still went deaf from how loud the noise was. He wasn't sure for how long he would remain like this, but he was certain it wouldn't last forever.



Shawn would still follow up with everything he originally planned, causing a gravity puck to fall on the area the girl was. She managed to dodge this though, but not before he could place the Bakudo named Danku into a Mutsohoyo on the front of his cloak. Watching as this girl dodged his Yōku o fuyasu the girl would Shunpo right next to him, raising her hands yet again it was clear another attack was going to happen. With very few options on what to do he chooses the one that seems the better of them.



As the girl was preparing to blast Shawn through, he simply Shunpos to be about 30 feet to her right. It seems he reacted in time to avoid the attack, witnessing as the area where he previously was filled with Kido that certainly would have spelled his end. To make maters worse she then speaks out for her Zanpakuto, "Weave, Kōri no Itto~!" Before his very eyes her sword would change forms to that of a giant sewing needle. If that wasn't bad she then tapped the ground causing some kind of thread to sew itself into the ground, as this was happening the girl would then apologize.



In Shawn's many years of experience the only times an opponent apologizes is when they either pull their final move resulting in a ton of damage, or use some kind of highly dangerous technique. In this case her actions proved her apology was due to the latter reason, suddenly the earth would begin shaking as the ground would erupt creating one giant hole. From this hole five giant almost Asian style dragons emerge placing themselves around the girl. Any words of advise Kami no te? he would ask his Zanpakuto spirit before getting a response, I suggest to be more aggressive, going of the explosion of her previous Kido I assume you're more powerful.



With the answer he got from Kami no te, Shawn silently nods. That's what he figured but he always likes gaining the advice of his spirit, after all he himself isn't always right. Speaking out loud the girl might know what's coming next, "Stamina trumps strength. Stamina trumps speed. Stamina trumps force. Let us take the punches until our foes cannot throw anymore, and only when they are breathless at our feet will we vanquish them.” To finish casting this Kido he would mentally state it's name, Bakudo #69: Enerugīrīchi. Once this is completed a giant glass dome would form all around them with a radius of 400 meters.



"I hope you're ready, because this just became a contest of stamina. Though I don't seem like it, I have plenty in my tank, but what about you?" Asking this Shawn wouldn't even sound as if he was goading her, if anything his voice was close to being an actual question. He was never one to enjoy harming others, either through physical damage or mental. From here he would start his next move, suddenly Yui might feel a strange sensation. Almost as if her skin on the front of her body was tingling as if asleep. Only a few seconds later she would suddenly find herself thrown backwards at 400 speed for 30 feet as he mentally spoke the command word *Repel*.



Continuing with his combo Shawn immediately follows up that by quickly lifting his left palm and sending a surge of reiatsu to it. Suddenly a giant car sized ball of fire would form in front of him that quickly splits in two before flying forward at 600 speed towards two of the dragons. These two balls of fire are now half the size of a standard car with 700 OS apiece, no matter if they hit the dragons or not they will slam into the ground where they were exploding causing dust to fly up in the air in a 10 foot diameter.

The Overall ability of the Zanpakuto is the user's reiatsu is condensed and released at high speeds giving it gravitational properties thus making it's theme "Gravity". This allows Shawn to pull and push a single target (An opponent or their weapon), allowing Shawn to be adaptable to most situations. This is a pretty strong ability, however, every good ability has it's limits. The gravitational property of this Zanpakuto only reaches out about 30 Meters, it also requires Shawn to both be in contact with his Zanpakuto and have visual contact with his target while saying attract or repel (respectively) and can be said mentally with a 1 in mental incantation. Regardless of it being in Shikai or Bankai, the target will only be pushed/pulled in a straight line from the Zanpakuto and will move at 400 speed and if pushed the target will move back 30 Feet (if only targeting a limb/weapon being held it will just be pushed/pulled 3 Feet). Pushing requires 200 Reiatsu while pulling only requires 150. This power works instantly on anyone within a distance of 10 feet. Those who are farther will feel a tingle giving them notice about what is going to happen, this gives them a moment to prepare for counter play or to simply try breaking line of sight.


Shikai Overall Ability:


While in Shikai, the Gravitational properties can only affect one side of a target as Kami no Te is not capable of condensing and releasing reiatsu at such a speed to affect the entire target. This would only allow for simply pushing or pulling a target in a straight movement forward or backwards from Kami no te. Kami no Te cannot target Shawn and can only target other entities/objects as it cannot fully control their gravity. While pulling, the target must come completely to Kami no Te and Shawn cannot stop it once started. While in Shikai his abilities would only work on those with less Spiritual Stat as an OS than Shawn and those with Strength as there OS may pay 200 reiatsu to resist.

This technique is designed to wear out both the user and his opponents in the process, easily shortening the duration of what could have been a drawn-out fight. What this technique does is create a clear, glass-like barrier in the form of a dome with a radius of 200 meters, the center being the user. All those confined in this glass dome would be forced to pay twice the usual reiatsu cost for any and all techniques. This technique is exempt from that effect, though all other techniques activated by the user cost double the reiatsu as well. The user may end the technique at will, and the glass dome will fade into the air.

The largest drawback of this technique is its drain on the user’s reiatsu over time. Each post, including the post that it is activated, the user must pay 300 reiatsu to maintain the technique. However, anyone who breaks the barrier, including the user, would immediately lose 500 reiatsu. Lastly, the technique is draining to the user’s physical stamina. Moving at a speed over 300, rather than the 400, now fatigues the user.

Making distinct note as Shawn seemed to dodge her next fused attack, Yui let out a soft sigh. Interesting~ Yuki chimed in her head, seems he's much trickier than you'd originally anticipated, hmm~? Perhaps we should do something about that, dear Yui~? Finishing his words with an eerie laughter, Yui couldn't help but shiver. Her Inner Hollow never quite ceased to unnerve her, and she truthfully wasn't fond of any second of it. That said, however, it seemed that calling upon him at some point felt like a sound option for the girl. She'd need to plan on a proper course of action.

As she summoned her dragons, making distinct note of Shawn's own casting of Kidō, Yui knew very quickly that this was going to be quite the war of attrition between her and her opponent. He seemed too all-but-confirm that fact as he spoke, an actually inquisitive tone to his voice; "I hope you're ready, because this just became a contest of stamina. Though I don't seem like it, I have plenty in my tank, but what about you?" Yui simply met Shawn's words with a nod. She'd comment later if she needed to.

For now, though, Yui focused on the present. She needed to see just what was going to happen, and how the Shinigami planned to attack her. After all, this was a fight; to not strike at your opponent would've been a rather dangerous choice to make. Her thoughts were met with action, interestingly enough, as the girl found herself launched backward at a rather noteworthy speed. As though her own center of gravity had been disrupted, and forced back further than she could personally move at. This, combined with what she'd been shown earlier, seemed to show that her opponent's unique abilities had something to do with gravity. She'd have to be careful with that.

Taking the opportunity to command the Kidō she'd summoned previously, Yui requested her dragons slam into Shawn with as much force as they could muster; they were going to hold absolutely nothing back if she could help it. As she commanded them to do so, however, it seemed that Shawn had an attack prepared for them; though, one that was going to try to contest the raw ability of these Reiryoku beasts. As twin balls of fire lashed out toward the dragons with their approach, Shawn was likely to find that these balls of fire were quickly consumed; swallowed whole by each of the beasts out of virtue of the raw power of a Hadō in the high-nineties.

Meanwhile, Yui quickly realized she needed a way to stabilize her own movements. Throwing her Zanpakutō straight toward the ground at a speed of 1,000, Yui held tightly against the thread wrapped around her wrist and connecting her to the blade. As the pushing effect had been so forcefully pressed against her, she simply did what she could to wait it out, gritting her teeth through the force enacted upon her. Scoffing all the while, and standing up after the force of it all comes to a halt, Yui sighed softly.

Withdrawing her blade from the ground, the girl pointed her Zanpakuto toward Shawn, blade held directly out facing the Shinigami. With a roar of reiatsu, a small, pink orb quickly began to condense around the tip of her needle, slowly closing in with an intense, roaring pressure about it. Eventually it reached a minimum size, no larger than that of a golf-ball. With an appropriately met "Cero," the girl released the attack in an explosive, massive wave of Reiryoku, looking to wash over and burn Shawn to a crisp in combination with her electric dragons.

{Vizard's Cero}
Technique Name: Vizard’s Cero

Class: 4-2 - 40 TTP to Learn, 80 TTP to Proficient, 180 TTP to Master.

Technique Type: Vizard Technique.

Usable By: Vizard.

Technique Element: N/A.

Technique Cost: 150, 250, 400 Reiatsu.

Description: A frequent ability among Hollows and Arrancar is Cero, a technique which releases a blast of pure spiritual energy with deadly explosive force. Bearing the power of a Hollow themselves, Vizards can learn a similar ability, though theirs is augmented further by combining both their spiritual energy with their Inner Hollow’s. The result is a deadly technique far more powerful than that of an average Cero, allowing a Vizard to strike a devastating blow against their foes.

At Learned, this is a basic Class 4 Cero, albeit with a Shinigami’s energy signature rather than a Hollow’s for those who are sensitive enough to discern the two. It is at Proficient that this technique becomes more potent: not only does the technique evolve to now be Class 3, but it also gains an automatic 50% bonus to the Reiatsu Strength of the technique if used without the Vizard Mask active. Additionally, traces of both Hollow and Shinigami energy are present in the technique. Finally, at Mastered, this technique becomes Class 2, and is given a 100% boost to the Reiatsu Strength of the technique when used without the mask, giving it the same power as when a Vizard’s Mask is worn.

How to Use: Gather energy and release from a palm. As this technique grows stronger, Hollow energy is added into the technique, making it more powerful.

Incantation: N/A.

Drawbacks: While this technique becomes more powerful with increased mastery, it also becomes more expensive, expending more energy for its increase in force. Initially, the Vizard’s Cero costs 150 Reiatsu, and the cost increases to 250 Reiatsu at Class 3. At Class 2, it increases to 400 Reiatsu per use.

The next moments were certainly interesting for Shawn, his Concussive Blast's were easily eaten by the created dragons. Tch, well that wasn't completely expected, but it doesn't change how I must treat this threat. With this thought he finished inspecting the Bakudo nicknamed Energy Leech he cast, this was a potent Kido that he only used rarely. Shawn did tend to spend a decent amount of Reiatsu after all when large fights break out. A smile would appear on his nearly emotionless face, thus breaking the cover implying he couldn't express or feel emotions in this state.



Surprisingly, even with Shawn's past and the goals he strives for, he still enjoys a good fight. While released his control over emotions become as easy to him as breathing, instead causing his mind to become more calculative on every action he takes or his opponents make. Even through these controlled emotions it was clear he lived to battle, which was true as he did so to constantly gain experience and better himself against stronger opponents. The smirk would disappear though when he noticed the pink ball of energy form on the tip of his enemies weapon.



What do you think Kami no Te, should I block it, redirect it, or dodge it? I'm pretty sure I know the best course of action but I wanted to ensure it was by asking your opinion. Shawn would mentally think this, directing a small part of his concentration towards the weapon he holds. Yes, I concur that dodging would be the best action. With Energy Leech up, the other options are too expensive to use constantly, better to save them for when they're truly required. Mentally giving Kami no Te a nod the Shinigami sends reiatsu into his feet, waiting for the cero to blast towards him before Shunpoing straight up into the sky.



With his new point of view Shawn calls down to this girl, "So you're a Vizard? It's a shame you don't work for the Soul Society, but even then why attack me for no reason? If you think I separate you from others for simply being a Vizard you're being foolish. After all, if I did then I'd have a much more difficult time protecting my sister who has shown it's possible to control the Hollow inside and even tame it! Regardless I don't intent on killing you, I'd rather capture you as I prefer not to kill people for no reason. If you do, however, continue trying to kill me I fear the option might not be to my liking."



Finishing his speech Shawn would flick his pointer finger forward, sending a near invisible string hurtling towards his opponent. In fact it was so hard to spot she may not notice it soon enough without good sensory abilities, however, ES wouldn't allow her to spot this thread. If the string landed it would attach itself to Yui's right shoulder, this string being held in Shawn's left hand would allow him to cast Hado #11: Tsuzuri Raiden mentally. Upon casting the Kido, electricity would visibly surge down the string before electrocuting Yui. After doing this a block would seemingly break causing more of his power to flow without hinderance.

Technique Description and Effects: Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through. This lasts for one post, but by paying the cost of the spell a second time, the duration is increased to two posts.



How to use technique: Speak the spell and touch an object, channeling electricity through it.



Incantation and Effect: Incantation unknown. When the incantation is spoken, the number of active posts this is used for is doubled. (With maximum cost, this can be up to four posts.)

{Advanced Air Arsenal: Air String}Technique Name: Advanced Air Arsenal: Air strings



Class:8-1



Technique Type: Reishi Technique

Technique Element: None



Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): This technique is much more refined and eloquent than the other methods of Advanced Air Arsenal. This technique, rather than generating large structures, instead focuses on the production of condensed and fortified strings of reishi. Wether it's to help wire a trap, to manipulate a far-off object, or just to tie someone up, these threads are very useful.

At class 8, these threads are well...threads. They are considered to have an offensive durability of 25 and anyone with the physical strength to lift themselves off the ground can generally break these strings without any effort. There is nothing particularly special about these strings, other than that the fact that they have such a thin reishi composition and structure that they have literally zero reiatsu signature and can only be sensed physically through sight.



At class 7, these strings gain some utility. The strings can be manipulated by the user and have an offensive durability of 100, increasing by 100 for each class beyond this one (a maximum of 700 durability at class 1).



At class 5, these strings are more than just tools. In addition to being able to be used for a variety of common jobs, these threads actually have the spiritual durability to cut into materials they are braced against. However, due to their thinness, the cutting power of the thread is inferior to it's actual durability, boasting a mere cutting power of 275 at class 5, increasing by 75 per class ( 350 at class 4, 425 at class 3, 500 at class 2, 575 at class 1).



Finally, at class 2, these strings are pretty high-quality. Not only improving in durability and cutting power, but also holding the power to be spiritually conductive, allowing the user to channel other techniques through the strings as though they were an extension of the user's body.



Technique Drawbacks Reiatsu cost. Additionally, these strings can only last up to 5 posts, increasing to 10 posts at proficcient, and 15 posts at mastered.
