✚ OPENING ✚
Passwords: Kazu’s Kidnapper, Miraculous Kouhai
Discord: Ilaste
Class/Rank: Class 1/Rank 3
Position/Affiliation: Presumably Mercenary.{Type: Prodigy, Version 2 (Click Here)}
Type: Prodigy, Version 2
Description: Someone who is extremely skilled and has had a natural talent for things since a very young age. These individuals have skyrocketed ahead of their peers thanks to this natural talent. However, this talent is a double-edged sword that has occasionally caused them to become too accustomed to having it easy and not having to work hard, which can come back and bite them.
Advantage:
- Rank 1: 50% increase to either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 150). 50% increase to either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 150). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
- Rank 2: Double either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 200). Double either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 200). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
- Rank 3: Triple either Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 300). Double either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 200). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
- Rank 4: 250% increase to Reiatsu Strength or Spirit Pressure (100 would be 350). 250% increase to either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (100 would be 350). Capable of using higher-Class techniques a class early (capable of using Class 2 techniques at Class 4 instead of Class 3).
Disadvantage: Select either Energy Sensory or Healing Expertise (whichever was not boosted) to be decreased by 66% (100 would be 34). A character may not “avoid” this drawback by leaving the Stat at 0. A Prodigy v2 must put at least 25 points per Rank (up to 100 SP at Rank 4) in the Stat being decreased. Characters of this Type cannot take points in either Calm Mind or Lack of Fear (or equivalents thereof), and are also prone to mental instability and mental games.
- Rank 1: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 33% (100 would be 66). Instinct is decreased by 33% (100 would be 66).
- Rank 2: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 45% (100 would be 55). Instinct is decreased by 45% (100 would be 55).
- Rank 3: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 60% (100 would be 40). Instinct is decreased by 60% (100 would be 40).
- Rank 4: Select either Strength or Speed to decrease by 66% (100 would be 34). Instinct is decreased by 66% (100 would be 34).

XXXX✚ PERSONALITY ✚
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Likes:
✚ Seireitei - Being a member of the Gotei 13 has left quite the impression on the girl. If she could go back, she absolutely would in a heartbeat. Naturally such a fate is impossible, but it's not something that she'd be inherently opposed to, assuming everything lined up for her to go back to the Gotei.
✚ Silbern - As one might expect, given her newfound time in the Vandenreich Hiyori has developed an enjoyment for the world in the shadows. While not natively her home or anything, it's a place that she's since grown comfortable with in due time. She wouldn't mind spending her future here, so long as things tend to stay relatively... tame.
✚ Sparring - Hiyori quite enjoys going a round or two with anyone interested. It doesn’t really matter of what origin her sparring partners are; she’s knows her own strength quite a bit, and is more than willing to hold back where necessary. The enjoyment of the spare is more important to her here.
✚ Honorable Combat - Linking in with the above, if it comes to seriously exchanging blows with someone, Hiyori would like her involvement in such to at the very least be honorable. She’s not the type to utilize dirty tricks, and will resent those that do.
✚ The Human World - Gas station slushies.
✚ Reading - One thing Hiyori enjoys quite a bit is reading. Nonfiction books tend to be some of her favorites, predominantly on events long since passed, but ultimately anything will do for her. She's not incredibly picky.
✚ Her Family - It should come as no surprise that Hiyori is incredibly fond of her sister. If given the opportunity, she'd do quite a bit in order to make sure that her sister is safe. Doesn't matter what hoops need to be jumped through in order to accomplish such a task, it'll be done as quickly as possible.
✚ The Emperor - If not for him, she wouldn't be here today. After having to deal with that whole 'inner hollow' fiasco, it's because of the graciousness of the Emperor that she actually exists to this day. Feeling indebted to him, and the Vandenreich in general, Hiyori does what she can to make sure to never fall out of favor.
✚ Archery - It took the girl quite a bit to actually get used to archery, having wielded a sword through the entirety of her career as a Captain in the Gotei 13, but it's certainly grown on her quite a bit over time. She enjoys spending the time necessary in order to refine her skills.
✚ Meditation - Nothing helps keep the mind clearer than an afternoon of meditation. Such a luxury doesn't always present itself, but when it does, she's more than willing to take it. Even if it doesn't, Hiyori makes sure to find time for a couple hours of silent meditation every week, as to keep her head clear and her mind sharp.
Dislikes:
✚ Conniving Behavior - Hiyori detests scheming and plotting behind the scenes. Manipulation tactics and the like are nothing short of disgusting to the girl. Not coming clean about something like that is grounds for a duel declaration.
✚ Arrogance - If there’s one thing that Hiyori cannot stand, it’s these individuals. Except in extreme circumstances, Hiyori tends to keep her emotions well-tempered. Being unable to do so shows a lack of self-control and self-respect. And, frankly? It’s annoying to deal with.
✚ Dust - Hiyori hates dust with a passion. She likes keeping her personal spaces clean and clear, and won’t hesitate to take care of someone else’s mess if necessary just to deal with it. It drives her up a wall.
✚ Unnecessary Violence - As someone that uses genuine combat as a last resort, Hiyori is very much not fond of the idea of taking a life without reason. She’s generally quite careful with her actions in that regard, especially given that her Reiatsu now breaks down living beings.
✚ Modern Architecture - She can’t quite describe it, but modern architecture tends to bother Hiyori rather notably. It all feels so… lifeless. Fake, in a sense. Something about it just doesn’t sit well with the girl.
✚ Modern Technology - Simply put, all of the new tech tends to confuse the girl. She's fairly able when it comes to utilizing it, but that doesn't mean she has to enjoy it. Easily spending less than an hour on her smartphone a day, Hiyori sees herself being much better off without anything of the sort.
✚ Noise - Hurts her concentration in extreme amounts. Definitely easy to explain why she doesn't exactly like the stuff. Doesn't matter what it is either; music, voices, ambience, it doesn't matter. If things get too loud to the point where she can't hear her own thoughts, then we've got a problem, and likely a duel declaration to follow.
✚ Folks that Turn her Down - As stated rather extensively, Hiyori tends to settle any and all disputes through dueling. Those that turn her down are those that don't care enough to fight for their own ideals. At that point, what are they doing in a militaristic organization? Not to mention, a duel helps keep combat skills sharp. Turning one down seems a terrible idea.
✚ Sadism - The girl does not enjoy inflicting harm on others. Especially if that harm leads to the taking of a life. But, for others to not only be okay with doing so, but revel in that? She doesn't understand it, she doesn't want to, and she frankly thinks that idea is revolting. But, she likely won't say anything about it, instead simply biding her time until she can leave the situation.
✚ Distraction - It doesn't really matter what it is. Linking in with the previous mentioning of noise, any sort of distraction tends to get on the girl's nerves. Taking her attention away from something important will usually result in a duel declaration, but likely 'til yield instead of first blood.
Habits:
✚ Haikus - "It's just how I speak~! Sorry I can't help it much, just get used to it~"
✚ Stubbornness - Hiyori can be a very stubborn individual. She's not quite stuck in her ways to the point where she's willing to get into an argument with folks, but she very clearly has her own ideals. If someone pushes the envelope with her, she will absolutely stand up for those ideals in the event she needs to.
✚ Walking on the Left - In any kind of hallway, Hiyori will always, without fail, walk on the left side. She's developed this habit from wearing her swords on the left, as is normal. Should someone bump into her swords like this while she walks, a declaration to duel is going to be rather imminent.
✚ Cleaning her Weapons - Given the girl tends to keep a collection of weapons in her personal quarters, Hiyori likes to dedicate time to cleaning these every couple of days or so. Best to keep them clean, even if these aren't the weapons that ever see combat. If nothing else, they're quite excellent display pieces!
✚ Exploration - Hiyori likes to spend quite a bit of her time out and about in the Three Worlds, wandering about as she sees fit. Even though bound to the Vandenreich, she tends to enjoy going on her own little expeditions when she gets the chance, exploring everything that the Three Worlds has to offer.
Flaws:
✚ Fight-Obsessed - For someone that sees violence as a last resort, there's something that Hiyori finds deeply enjoyable about combat. It's why she seeks to settle every problem that someone might have with her through duels, and why she's usually quick to back up her ideals. Deep down, while she may not like to admit it, there's a fighting spirit in the girl just waiting for the reason to explode outward.
✚ Neutral - Despite how passionately and fervently she defends her own ideals, she's not exactly someone you want to go to if you're looking for the settling of a dispute. She's bound to stay out of it, or recommend resolving the situation through combat.
✚ Stoic - Aside from the times where she gets passionate about her beliefs, Hiyori is rather reserved most of the time. More often than not, she tends to keep a sense of duty about her, simply going about her day while waiting for something entertaining to happen. Other than that, she doesn't often open up to anyone, or anything of the like.
✚ Defensive - Hilariously enough, Hiyori tends to get rather defensive about quite a number of things. Namely, her family, and her past. She's not going to let someone badmouth her or her family just because of where they are, or the things that they've been through. Easy way to get a duel declaration right there.
✚ Self-Destructive - Not one that comes out often, but if pushed to the brink, Hiyori can be quite self-destructive. Namely, this shows itself upon her entering Vollständig. Being very goal-driven, she will stop at nothing to pursue her goals, even if it means that she ends up crumbling down soon afterward.
Fears:
✚ Auswählen - Nothing scares Hiyori more than to be stripped of what exists to hold her together. It's why she had originally joined the Vandenreich, abandoning her position in Seireitei to begin with. Even just the thought of something like that happening again would leave her sick to her stomach. It's an unbearable thought.
✚ Losing her Sister - Hiyori can't in her right mind bring herself to inflict any sort of lasting damage to her sister. That should be apparent. But, that's not stopping others from doing the same. It's unlikely that she'd be able to handle the thought of permanently losing her sister, especially after everything they've been through.
✚ Seireitei Ostracization - She knows its inevitable, but being called a traitor and the like for her choices with her 'departure' actively scares Hiyori. It's one reason that the thought of engaging in combat with a Shinigami scares her; the last thing she'd want is to be recognized by someone that isn't her sister.
Goals:
✚ To Reunite with her Sister - More than anything else, Hiyori has a strong desire to reunite with her sister, and share everything with her. She knows that she's bound to the Vandenreich now, but that doesn't mean she can't try to convince her to ally at the very least, or join in the best case scenario.
✚ To See Seireitei Again - While she knows full-well that rejoining the Seireitei is not a possibility - in fact, destroying it is mandated of her - she wants to be able to catch even just one more glimpse of how the place is doing. Especially if given the opportunity to see how her Squad is holding up in her absence. Very little would please her more.
✚ To Meet New Captains - Another large goal of Hiyori's would be to meet the newer Captains within Seireitei since her departure! Surely quite a number of them have since taken position, so she'd like to get to know quite an amount of them. Doesn't need to be on bad terms; in fact, she's fairly amicable in that regard.
✚ To Get to Know the Vandenreich - Given it's her new life now, Hiyori desires to take the time to get to know the others in the Vandenreich. More than anything, she'd like to learn about a lot of different people in the organization. She knows that most don't exactly look toward her in the highest regard, but that doesn't change her aspirations on the matter.
✚ To Attain Sternritter - Surprisingly, Hiyori has quite a desire to attain Sternritter. She wants to show that even those that join the Vandenreich by choice are still worth a damn, and shouldn't be discounted. She knows such an idea isn't exactly going to be easy, but that certainly is not going to stop her on her mission to attain a Schrift.
Overall Personality:✚ COMBAT ✚
Fighting Style:
Resurrección Callouts: "Go, release your winds! Let loose the storm of winter, Rey de las Nieves!" / "Resurrección: Now, Segunda Etapa! Rey de las Nieves!"
Overall Ability:
Rey de las Nieves draws from the Kori no Itto of old, and makes it into Yuki's own power. Taking on aspects of cold, frost, and similar machinations, Rey de las Nieves grants Yuki mastery over the winters. Beginning the act of releasing by fanning himself with his tessen, Yuki releases a burst of cold air ten feet around himself, coupled with his own reiatsu, eventually resulting in the transformation into Primera Etapa. Segunda Etapa sees Yuki encapsulating himself in a hundred-foot tall pillar of ice, before shattering it with an explosive release of his own spiritual presence, and a flash of bright blue light, spreading these shattered fragments of ice a hundred feet around him. While in any state of release, Yuki's non-release techniques are modified in such a way that changes any element they previously possessed into ice.
In all stages of release, Yuki's ice and winds will be extravagantly devastating to the body. Those that remain in consecutive contact with the ice, mist, frost, or snow produced from Rey de las Nieves, or modified non-release techniques, will be frozen solid in three posts. This timer is increased by one post for each Rank in Cold Tolerance someone has. Non-consecutive contact requires five total hits, with each Rank in Cold Tolerance increasing this by two additional hits. While consecutive exposure to the cold will freeze the entire body, non-consecutive contact will simply freeze individual limbs and body parts.
Water, ground, and non-living entities are frozen over immediately upon contact with Yuki's ice, provided they're either non-spiritual in nature, or Rey de las Nieves wins against them in Clash (RS and/or Class). Ice produced from this is incredibly slippery, causing all but Yuki to slip and slide about when looking to move on it. Holding back fast movement by limiting oneself to half their normal Speed, or possessing twice Yuki's Offensive Stat can help prevent this. Moving faster is still possible, but every 100 Speed that someone moves over 50% of their base will cause them to overshoot their destination by five feet (reduced by one foot for each Rank in Acrobatics someone has). As one can expect, this applies to Stepping Techniques as well. Should someone slam into a wall or similar construct, both that person and the construct will take damage equal to the Speed at which they travelled over 50% their base Speed.
Primera Etapa Overall Ability:
Segunda Etapa Overall Ability:{White Spider Lily}
Technique Name: White Spider Lily
Technique Stage: Primera / Segunda.
Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: Yuki swings his Tessen, creating a blossoming of seven frozen, razor-sharp lilies in the air along the area where he slashed (increased to 13 in Segunda Etapa). These lilies persist for two posts, and can be utilized for two different purposes before cracking and shattering into a square foot of frozen mist per spider lily. For an additional 50 Reiatsu, two leaved tendrils can be fired from each lily at a Speed equal to Yuki’s RS, either utilized for grabbing or slicing. Alternatively, for 50 less Reiatsu, Yuki can immediately shatter these spider lilies, causing icy shrapnel to fire in a cone in front of him, five feet long and two feet wide.
Drawbacks: Frozen mist from this technique lasts for three posts. Leaved vines possess only 50% of Yuki’s RS in durability; this drawback is removed in Segunda Etapa. If shattered immediately, spider lilies don’t cause mist to spread, and instead only allow for weaponization from the shards produced.
Incantation: "Sow the seeds of frost! / Blossom into ice flowers~! / White Spider Lily!" The last line of the incantation reduces the Reiatsu cost by 50. The middle line reduces the Reiatsu cost by an additional 100. The first line reduces the Reiatsu cost by an additional 50.{Frozen Falling Vines}
Technique Name: Frozen Falling Vines
Technique Stage: Primera / Segunda.
Technique Cost: 50 Reiatsu.
Description: A technique designed to help deal with speedier individuals, Frozen Falling Vines unleashes a Tessen slash in front of Yuki, creating a sharpened wave of ice a couple of inches off of his Tessen, making this technique a phenomenal parrying tool, especially when utilized alongside techniques like Sonido Garra. Segunda Etapa bolsters this technique tremendously, striking through defensive techniques and abilities of a lower Class automatically, and those on-Class so long as Yuki possesses a higher Offensive Stat.
Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost for what would otherwise be a basic attack.
Incantation: "Blades of ice descend; / dancing into flesh and bone~! / Frozen Falling Vines!" The last line of the incantation treats the Speed of incoming attacks as 25% lower from Yuki's perception, granting him more room to counter them. The middle line halves the Reiatsu cost of a paired partial-step technique. The first line treats the Speed of incoming attacks as an additional 25% lower from Yuki's perception.{Flash-Freezing Snow Cloud}
Technique Name: Flash-Freezing Snow Cloud
Technique Stage: Primera / Segunda.
Technique Cost: 150 Reiatsu.
Description: Yuki's strongest technique in Primera Etapa, Flash-Freezing Snow Cloud requires he quickly wave his fans, to unleash a close-range gust of snowy mist and wind, encircling a ten-foot area around him at a Speed equal to his Reiatsu Strength. While applying the effects of his Overall Ability as normal, Flash-Freezing Snow Cloud is insidious in the damage it aims to do to organs. Organs that are exposed to these mists (whether the eyes or mouth are open, or due to open wounds, or heaven forbid the mist is breathed in and enters someone's lungs) will freeze solid in a matter of two posts, regardless of continued exposure. This mist will last for two posts, before dissipating. Segunda Etapa increases this radius to thirty feet.
Drawbacks: Despite technically being an organ, this technique has no extra effect to one's skin, and instead applies Yuki's Overall Ability as normal. Those with 150 Energy Sensory or greater will be made immediately aware of the effects this mist has. Holding one's breath can be done for a number of posts equal to two, plus their Ranks in Strength of Will. While fast, the range of this technique is quite limited for a ranged combatant.
Incantation: "Blast of wintry winds~! / Handicap those who come close; / Flash-Freezing Snow Cloud!" The last line of the incantation causes the mist to last for an additional post. The middle line causes the mist to last for two additional posts. The first line causes the mist to last for an additional post.{Icy-Cold Façade}
Technique Name: Icy-Cold Façade
Technique Stage: Primera / Segunda.
Technique Cost: 300 Reiatsu.
Description: With a wave of his Tessen, Yuki conjures forth two spider lilies, each with the upper torso of a familiar deceased Shinigami attached to them, perpetually in a state of frozen anguish. While the leaves underneath this Shinigami bust are sharpened, this technique truly shines in Yuki's ability to command them to blow snowy mists and winds. While these Façades exist, Yuki can command them to release these winds, blowing with a Speed and force equal to his Reiatsu Strength. These winds stretch fifty feet in front of the Façades, and spread out in a ten-foot cone. Those that end up blasted with these winds will suffer the effects of Yuki's Overall Ability as normal, but will also have their Speed reduced by 15%, per Façade that blasts them, for three posts. Segunda Etapa increases this debuff to 30% per Façade. Subsequent blasts of wind will further increase this debuff, and refresh its duration.
Drawbacks: Each Façade can only be commanded once per post. These Façades possess a durability equal to Yuki's Reiatsu Strength, making them rather brittle, and are treated as a Class lower than Yuki's current release stage for the purpose of clashing.
Incantation: "It's been far too long~! / Yui, why don't you come out~? / Icy-Cold Façade!" The last line of the incantation creates another Façade. The middle line creates two more Façades. The first line creates another Façade.{Technique 5}
