The second clash came upon them as the two ranks of Shinigami collided once more. Kaen, with stunning brute force and fierce control of his physical prowess against the Vizard's mystique, and conviction. A loud clash of metal rang that was followed by an intense sound wave cause the buildings below to rattle, with tinted veil of glass crackling beneath the concussive force. Such strength ejected by the Lieutenant shook the pair of lances that only made their appearance all the more known before the naked eye, unveiling themselves before the grinding gauntlet that Kaen directed into them. A short jetison of a rapier's pointed tip jabbing outwards being nothing more than child's play to an experienced close quarters combatant, utilizing the superior physique to work around the issue at hand. The lances held, shuttering beneath the strength applied to them, holding their position, unwavering at the challenge presented towards them as their side was left unguarded.
Much like before, Kaen's own speed was beyond what Schala believed she could keep up with, at least not without some distance between them to react. But this was too short a distance to obviously pull herself away whilst in action herself. The danger was present. It could be felt. Schala was vulernable at this stage. ..."Fatum".... The Vizard mumbled as Kaen's snapping left arm guided itself momentarily upwards as to graze against the upper surface of the woman's forearm. An opening for her to make use of had come. Yet, before her rapier or those of her lances could change their direction to strike, what came immediately after was the immediate withdraw of the Lieutenant as it signaled for Schala to do the same five feet back to repose herself.
Reiatsu was detected. Brightly burning, filling the air with a increase of its warm embrace that scoured the sides across the Vizards horizon towards herself. A flickering left hand gestured, recalling to her side what had been operating in secrecy towards herself. As the previous two had undergone, a baptism of fire and heat raged across their surfaces as they walled their Master apart from the coming firestorm. Six lances shown as the seventh remained resting beneath the woman's soles, keeping her afloat. Six lances dancing within the remants of bristling cinders that outlined their individual forms that guarded the Vizards front. "Well done." Schala commented sharing a glance at a distant Kaen.
A smile could not be repressed as she uttered the words, finding a bit of enjoyment at the occasion she was finding herself in. She did not understand why. May it be a dream that she desired all along? To fight? Realizing her strength? Whatever had brought it upon her she felt a bit unusual, but natural as well. Already, the next engage was about to begin until further movement was felt, changing in position and in strength. Schala's eyes wandered to capture the moment before her veiw befell to the gleaming white frost of another release, yet, in a much grander scale. "Bankai? Here?" A mutter of both fear and anxiety came to capture Schala's beating heart, coming to a wonder, or rather a thought that crossed her mind as her eyes wandered about beneath her feet at a nearly visible city below. "If this is a dream, then there would not be people here? Or at the very least false individuals. No pain, correct? But I can...."
Schala could feel the chilling sensation as the heat around her dwindled. Eyes scanning, looking to make out what little she could. The terrifying thought crossing her mind.... What if there are people here? What if they were relocated somewhere else inside this city? Releasing this sort of power......It is too dang.. What could the Shinigami be thinking making use of a release at this level. The heat that lingered on her spears was fading away, overtaken by the cold that only continued to grow with a numbing sensation spreading across the grazed surface of a purple spot. The blow from the last exchange caused the woman's forearm to shake, as if to rekindle some feeling back into the damaged nerves. ...Still holding back. Like you always have been.... The familiar voice echoed in the back of her mind as a new entity was felt forming within Schala's area of influence. It was similar, if not the same as to the individual who had just released this power.
Whatever this new entity was it did not know what it was coming against as Schala did not hesitate to engage it. Its movements was considerably less than what Schala was going against at the time; Kaen. It was slower and rushed in without acknowledging the situation itself. It was casting, reiastu built up within itself as it was pushing ahead towards the Vizard as it would be met with the same force that Kaen was against. A single lance engaging the Ice Puppet, throwing itself into the range of what it was casting. Schala could not see what this being was casting, but considering that it was coming from a Shiningami, the lance would come to sacrifice itself for the opening. Two other lances came to flank the single as the trio operated in unison, one slamming itself in the direct course of the unknown spell with the other two to skewer it from opposite sides of it. Although Schala could not see this entity, she could most certainly feel it within her Shikai's area of influence.
"You are in the way, Pest." Schala announced as she sought to make her way towards Wycliff, and to past the Ice Puppet.
