Thread Title: Evil Against Evil? Participants: Elke vs Teresa World: Human World Death Setting: Permanent Injuries Enabled Rating: R Location: Karakura Town Special Conditions: N/A Circumstances: Teresa is out in the open feasting on the civilians of Karakura when she comes across something from the pit quite different than the other entities she’s met from that sunken world.
Moving through Karakura was something that Teresa really wouldn’t have expected . . . to become so easy for her to accomplish. In the last few months, she’d reached a level of strength that she was confident in enough to wander through Karakura looking around and doing whatever she wants now. No longer was she so weak that she had to hide constantly in order to survive. Now whenever a Shinigami or anyone else seemed to find her it usually meant she just had food that was eager to jump into her stomach. Right now it was the middle of the day and Teresa was in a rather pleasant mood.
Although she was confident and didn’t have to hide herself anymore she wasn’t going to make it so the humans scattered either. That would just make it harder for her to collect all her food up. So at the moment she was standing at the top of a building that was four stories in height. She wasn’t sure what part of Karakura she was in at the moment, but there were a bunch of roads that crossed over and converged with one another with buildings all over. Something she still couldn’t believe was just how compressed everything seemed to be compared to when she had been a human.
On the roof though Teresa was feasting, a male human that she’d found on the street below, nothing beyond the normal who she’d grabbed and slipped up here with Ulcera. A swift bite down on the throat was all it took to finish him off about a minute ago. Chomping down on his body was something she could do either fast or slow and right now she was just taking her time and enjoying the flavor of his guts. His blood was like fine wine while his innards tasted like sausage and ground beef. The only thing missing though was the flavor of something potent that seemed to only come from those with real power.
So far though it had been one of the best mornings that she had experienced in a couple of months coming out from the basement she'd found last night and slept in until early this morning. When she'd gotten up the light had been coming up and just like she usually could she found a young adult human running on the street. That young female was now at her feet or well. . what little bit of blood hadn't found itself drank by Teresa was at her feet. When it came to eating the humans she could find in this town Teresa didn't like to waste even a little bit of their delicious flesh. She knew what some of the other things tasted like and made it a point to cherish long pig whenever she got the chance to eat it.
Getting trapped in Hueco Mundo was something she couldn't imagine going through again when everything there that she could actually find to eat tasted like warmed over shit. Nothing in that dark world of sand tasted anywhere near as good as what she currently was chewing on. The muscle fibers of a calf getting torn apart by her dozens of fangs and yanked on before she felt each piece break apart then dance on her tongue. She felt like a child in a candy shop savoring every tiny piece before it was gone and she'd have to put effort forward to get another source. Although it had started off as something she wasn't all that keen on the crunch of bone was now a pleasant bit of her meals, comparable to her now to when a kid munches down on a hard piece of candy cracking it and then breaking it apart.
The constant prattling of her hind legs was something that Elke wasn't too familiar with at all. Bouncing from rooftop to rooftop, the weight of a spiritual body was totes different from that of a physical. The air didn't seem to strike at her as much when she was a blending of the two races, being less transparent as her Quincy bloodline held her form bound to the World of the Living. But that wasn't the case anymore. What Elke had become was beyond what she had originally imagined, and quite frankly terrified just as much if not greater; a monster. Her body felt as different as it appeared. The stirring flare of orange to red blurred with the shimmering black that twisted along her skin. Flesh? Leather by the touch, but still very much organic. Elke's body felt free as she darted to the parallel buildings that lined down the small structures. The Akki didn't feel bound by the limits that she felt before as a near Human, though did that come across as a good thing?
Xcution was kind enough to accept Elke into their ranks as she was before her change, taking much time to distance herself from the other members due to her change. There were things that Elke had to do on her own to better accustom herself to what she was, seeing that what was done at her birth was primarily the reason of what she was now. Looking back on it, basing it on what Abaddon had explained before during there training session a while back, that her existence was that of a hybrid race. A mixture of two different origins that came together in order to give birth to what she was; Nakkabaki.
Proned down overlooking a donning cast of vanishing shadows along a street, Elke pondered if this had to do with her Father, or that of the donation that made up her other half. The visual of her claws that now made up her hands resembled that of an animal. Aside from the given feline tail that stirred a bit from her tailbone, what she saw in each of her reflections was that of the same image. The closest relation that such a sight brought to mind was that of a Hollow. Disgusting monsters that feed on people with the narrisstic thought of only themselves. She couldn't possibly be.......Elke shook the trailing bubbles of rogue thoughts away from her as the differences were numbered, and one was that of the chains that were bound to her wrists and ankles.
A momentary shriek filled the air as quickly as it was silenced. The proned Akki shot up as quickly as she sprung into action once more. The sound of someone screaming only to be shut down as it emerged was certainly out of the ordinary. A curdling scream such as that was a usual sign of fear if Elke had ever heard one call out, but how it was quiet soon after was something that definitely screamed paranormal; there was something going on. The soft prattling of the female Hell Spawn motioned outwards, darting once more across rooftops as the sounds of sloppy wet munches were clearly heard in the early morning. The sight was one that Elke was all too familiar with as it was a usual sight for a Quincy, despite how aggravating it was to see. An Abnormal was having its fill on what little remained of its prey, watching it greedily enjoying itself as it savored each flesh now turned mulch. This was the difference between what Elke was, and what they were.
The leathery ears perked upwards as the Akki sprung into action, shooting across the adjacent buildings down onto the street as claws dung into the walls upwards. Immediately, Elke hurled herself over the ledge onto the roof with a wide swipe of the talons from her right hand at the disgusting Hollow.
A nice morning breakfast seemed to be to much for Teresa to expect, she hadn’t been without the thought that a random reaper may be in the area, come upon her meal then attempt to slay her for indulging herself. Instead though what she heard was the sound of something digging through a hard substance. She could hear whatever it was being carved up, loud enough that she lifted her head to find the source and saw a cloaked figure coming towards her. Something that she hadn’t really seen before with one simply exception, black chains.
She’d come across two others that had black chains on them in the past, one of them she’d worked alongside of in order to bring down a Hollow larger than she had been and bigger than she was now. The other one had done his best to stop her from feasting on the humans of this town, the same thing this one seemed to be doing as well. She made such a judgment based on the way this cloaked figure moved and how aggressive they seemed to be while coming towards her. If she was meaning to do anything else than Teresa couldn’t think of why they’d be moving in this way.
“Protect me.”
Teresa whispers as a Bala is formed from her reiatsu located between her horns, moving downwards to the mid section of her body. The small Bala begins to orbit around her figure like a planet around the sun. Her suspicion was confirmed though when this thing if it continued forward with its attempt to stop her feeding. A swipe coming towards her would have a hard time reaching Teresa as the Bala impacted her hand most likely knocking it backwards away from Teresa while burning the entity if even a little.
Standing up with blood painting her front figure Teresa eyes the cloaked figure. At the moment it’d be to entities starring at one another while neither one’s facial features would be visible to the other. “Interrupting breakfast to some is the worst kind of offense. I’d suggest leaving before I make you pay for this distraction.” Teresa wasn’t certain about this figure whether it be how they tasted or how strong they happened to be, all that mattered though was she was hungry right now and wouldn’t allow others to keep her from feasting.
