Height/Weight: [5' 6" [167.6 cm] [Human-Sized (Base and Vasto Lorde] - [60' (1848 cm) - Gillian Class ] - [10' 4" (316.9 cm) Adjuchas Class]
Physical Description:
Scavenger Class Hollow
As a Scavenger Class Hollow, Arcadia appears as a quadrupedal wolf-like beast. With a mask in the shape of a wolf's skull, two sullen, red, eyes glow from the darkness behind the veil of the mask which hides the face of her soul. Her body is grey and bristles like fur, though it is one solid grey shroud, lacking keratinous fibers. She also lacks a tail in this stage of her evolution, being a simplistic killing machine in the relative infancy of her growth.
Gillian Class Hollow
As a Gillian, or Menos Grande, Arcadia presents herself as a towering monstrosity. The four-story tall body with a shroud-like form of black strides forward with the menacing presence of one of her evolution. Though, most terrifying is the fact that during her evolution, she retained her individuality due to the strength of the sadness of her soul. The feet of this Menos Grande are large and clawed, like a wolf's. Her Wolf-shaped mask adoring the top of the towering form she now sports, looking down with eyes of sorrow on anything she consumes or crushes.
Adjuchas Class Hollow
Arcadia as an Adjuchas Hollow is a more powerful and unique specimen. Standing tall as a large, bipedal wolf in white fur, she has begun to reach the limit of what growth most of the unique specimens of Hollow achieve. With large arms, and clawed hands, she can snap trees as if they were toothpicks. Even more unique is the empathic abilities she presents, but this does nothing to make her appearance any less intimidating. Her sullen red eyes glare out from her mask's cover, which has now evolved two red tear stain patterns down from the eye holes of the mask. Behind Arcadia, a newly grown tail has formed, but it sports sharp bone spikes hidden among the fur, which she sometimes inadvertantly impales smaller Hollow on if they get too close while it is wagging back and forth.
Vasto Lorde Class Hollow
Arcadia as a Vasto Lorde Hollow has finally reached the pinnacle of her evolutionary path. The journey to reach the top has done nothing to eliminate the sadness that comes from her eyes. Those glowing red orbs staring hauntingly from behind the pale, bone, white mask with two red tear marks from either corner of the eyes now formed. She is more humanoid shaped now, sporting a size and shape similar to her own when she died as a human, albiet completely covered in pure, white, fur. Her tail has grown too, and the joke of 'it has a mind of it's own' is not one that can be made, as the end of her tail now sports a wolf-shaped head with a Hollow mask of it's own and gnashing jaws. This is really Arcadia, or part of her personality manifest. The darkness and the rage inside took the form of her tail, which counsels her and comforts her in a sick form of self-soothing to the eternal despair and loneliness she has felt as a Hollow soul.

Dislikes:
* Being Excluded: Arcadia does not like being left out, or cast out of a group she desires to be apart of. Rejection is the ultimate form of insult as it forces her to live in the anguish of sorrow and shame. The feelings of loneliness and the empty silence of companions are not the appropriate environment with one of a wolf-like soul.
* Cats: Being one of a soul like a wolf, it is easy to understand why she does not like cats, though it goes much deeper than the natural enmity between cats and dogs. It goes down to the dislike of how cats seem to be solitary creatures with no need or regard for companionship unless they wish it. It is a trait that Arcadia finds revolting.
* Shinigami: Outside of being her natural enemy as a Hollow, it is the way that Soul Reapers try to decide how one should live their life. They determine the rules, sentence souls to Hell, and keep the keys to the doors themselves. They, also wipe away the memories of those they purify and 'save', erasing them effectively from existence. It is for those reasons she fights against them, not just because they taste good.
* Unwarranted Cruelty: Those who are cruel and despicable to others vex Arcadia. It is the very behavior that makes it impossible to find acceptance and friendship. Those who cannot show restraint in their cruel behavior to their peers or subordinates are no different than rabid animals to Arcadia, and must be dealt a swift hand.
* Crowds: While Arcadia enjoys company, she despises crowds. The number of emotions and the thoughts she must feel and endure in such a large volume as an empathic creature can get overwhelming and cause her to retreat to a better spot with less ambient noise. Some might see this as cowardice, though, and she does her best to endure it for their sake. Though, she would prefer not to be on the front line of say, a major invasion or large battle.

Likes:
* Loyalty: Arcadia admires those who are loyal to her and the Arrancar. Loyalty is a sign of reliability and these are the sorts she would prefer to have t her side in the face of danger. In the same regard, she is incredibly loyal to those who accept her as a friend, as it is a character trait she values the most.
* Saving Lives: Some Hollow take pleasure in killing others, but Arcadia? Not so much. She prefers to keep those alive that she can with her healing abilities. Hollow with the ability to restore others are rare, and even more-so is their value lost as the vast majority rely on their High Speed Regeneration to save themselves. There is no greater joy that can be found in Arc than saving a comrade from death.
* Training: Either honing her skills, or another's, Arcadia loves to train. Getting stronger is a means to increase one's value, and she believes that if she has a high value, then people will desire her as a friend. Thus the constant drive to improve, even when it seems like she could not possibly improve anymore than she already is.
* The Espada:Arcadia idolizes the Espada of Hueco Mundo, and wishes to be one herself. This is due to their ability to gain loyal followers and allies, even if it is on 'might makes right' status. This tainted form of friendship and allies is still the closest thing to a possible form of acceptance she might find, and so she likes the group.
* Sweets: Outside of being a girl at heart, Arcadia loves sweet foods and candies. There is nothing better to her than enjoying the pleasures of tasting new treats and endulging her sweet tooth. This is true more to the point that she enjoys devouring Shinigami, not just because she hates them, but because their souls taste like some of the sweetest candy one could imagine to her.

Flaws:
* Timid: If unsure of another being, she will keep her distance. This is often perceived as cowardly behavior, and so she tries to avoid being obvious about it. Though, if given the chance, she would prefer to analyze a person from a safe distance before making the approach and risking confrontation unprepared.
* Vengeful: If a person wrongs her or an ally, she will take great exception to that individual. Those who find themselves the target of her vengeance are rarely ever let off the hook, and she will often try to hunt them down on the honor of her comrade or her own. This can tend to make her single-minded when faced with such an enemy.
* Cry Baby: If Arcadia is presented with a sad situation, or forced to endure crowds and loud noises, she will cry. Unable to contain her pain and sorrow, she is overwhelmed to the point of tears quite often. She is far from the emotionless killer that most of her kind tend to be. This can be detrimental, however, it is beyond her control.

Habits:
* Howls: When she is excited or sees the moon of the World of the Living, she cannot help but howl like a wolf out of habit. Being like one, it seemed to be part of her instinct to call out into the darkness, hoping somebody would answer and that maybe that person would be a friend. However, it is usually considered awkward or intimidating.
* Honorifics: She will often refer to superiors or those she reports to as Master and Mistress. Direct peers will often be referred to as Sir or Madame. It is a relic of speaking lost in the common age, but held over from the time when she died. She keeps this habit because she feels it is respectful, and that by showing others respect, she might gain the same in kind.
* Heal First, Ask Questions Later: Arcadia has a habit of healing any injury on a comrade or fellow Hollow she sees without asking. This has led to disgruntled patients as they often lament the fact they were denied battle scars or markings of conquests with which to show off and boast about.

Fears:
* Isolation: Arcadia is truly afraid of being left alone with nobody, not even an enemy, to keep her company. She absolutely cannot stand not feeling or hearing another's emotions beside her own. The echo of just her by herself is hard to endure for long periods of time. She will often use this fear to justify going on a hunt.
* Purification: Being purified by a Shinigami Zanpakuto and ultimately being erased absolutely terrifies her. When cut by a Soul Reaper's sword, it can cause her to freak out and behave aggressively to the point were killing the offender would not be enough. The fear would drive her to commit acts of unspeakable carnage just to keep from being, as she sees it, erased.
* Being Set on Fire: Arcadia is truly scared of being lit aflame and burning alive. Having died in a fire as a human, she is in no hurry to relive the scenario that lead her to this empty state of being in the first place.

Goals:
* Become an Espada: Arcadia wishes to, one day, become a powerful enough Arrancar to assume the mantle of Espada. Any number will do. She is not picky. A position of power, with which to amass allies and comrades would be enough to make her happy.
* Kill a Shinigami Captain: To deal a major blow to the enemy would bring her joy. Since the infancy of her evolution as a Hollow, she has dreamed of the day she would have the power to stand against the strongest that Soul Society could throw at her.
* Develope Healing Skills for Hollow: While some may not see the use, Arcadia has the dream of one day being able to heal even the most injured of Hollow, regenerating them fast enough to prevent death and even possibly restore the missing portions of their souls so they can continue to evolve even after a piece of them is gone.

Alignment: Lawful Evil
Overall Personality:
Arcadia is a soul of grief and sorrow, having died all alone in a burning building in Spain long ago. Since her death and Hollowfication, this sense of loneliness drove her completely mad with the drive to find a group or a 'pack' to take solace in their company, however this existence as a Hollow rarely afforded her many companions, leaving her timid and prone to lash out at strangers with aggressive auras. This unusual behavior as it were for most Hollow is what lead to her surviving for as long as she has.
If Arcadia has one thing, it is an intense will to live and survive. She does not enjoy the prospect of death, having experienced it once, and being rather unwilling to feel it's embrace as a spirit. She views this life as a Hollow as a second chance to gain what she lost in life. Friends, family, lovers; All of these connections she wished to build, even if it was in the perverse sense of either clinging onto them or forcing them to be her friends willingly, or by devouring their soul and making them apart of her.
Arcadia is not a violent Hollow, unless triggered to be such. She prefers not to resort to killing and devouring if she can help it, but even she cannot defy the instinct to kill and consume to grow stronger. Those that she devours become part of her 'familia'. She will often speak of her extensive 'familia', cycling through memories of those she has devoured as if they were apart of her life. While it is probably considered insanity, the madness as a Hollow is unavoidable.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Arcadia, as a Hollow, prefers to play mind-games with her prey. Taking advantage of her empathic sensory skills to lure them in before consuming them and adding them to herself. She can do this by a variety of means, be it illusions, sensory alteration, and disguising herself. Though this form of subterfuge fueled combat has its limitations, which sometimes require a less delicate touch.
Though she does not enjoy killing, if forced into a real fight that isn't making a soul willingly embrace their fate, she will resort to nasty biting and clawing attacks. She pairs this with her ability to degenerate cells instead of regenerating them to cause caustic burns and horrible injuries that are harder to heal than clean cuts.
Once she has a target weakened, on the edge of death, or so she might see it. Arcadia will offer them mercy in the form of a quick, clean kill as she 'embraces them into the fold of her familia'. If the target of her mercy offer is defiant, or refuses to submit, then she will break from the rejection and attempt to brutally tear them limb from limb, making their death as painful as the rejection she was forced to feel.

Overall Theme:
Being a Hollow borne of loneliness and rejection, Arcadia has developed powers that make her more capable of discerning would hurt her enemies mentally rather than physically. The pain and suffering that one has experienced throughout their life and death marks their very soul, and it is these markings that Arcadia can pick up on with her unique sensory techniques. Even more impressive is the ability to not only see these markings, but to make them manifest in the minds of her enemies, creating illusory horrors of their saddest and worst times to traumatize them.
This is further expanded with her ability to not only see the painful memories etched on a person's soul, but also the joyous ones. The happy times that bring them the best of comfort. These memories can also be used to her advantage, by forcing her allies to feel the rush of happiness, even in the face of despair to empower and even restore their bodies with her supernatural empathy.
Restoration and harm of a person with her empathic powers is actually a combination with a talent for Negacion', an energy which confounds or is otherwise ignored by most of the Hollow race. Some see it as useful for an escape mechanism if they are in absolute danger, but it is her talent with energy that has led her to bending this around other applications. Examples include barrier techniques, refracting light for illusions, and putting parts of the body in a form of protective stasis while they regenerate. Hollow are usually incapable of feeling a desire for companionship or caring for another, so the applications of Negacion used for healing were largely dismissed.... until now.

Techniques:
{Techniques}Technique Name: Ulcera (Ulcer)
Class: 7
Technique Type: Stepping
Usable By: Hollows (Not Arrancar)
Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a basic stale for a Hollow's ability to slide in and out of the valley of screams at will when it is hunting or stalking prey. By gliding in and out of the space used by techniques like garganta or descorrer, a hollow can get around quickly. This technique operates similarly to a stepping technique, but only moves at 5x the user's speed. However, the user weaves through rips in the fabric of whatever world they are in, and as such the hollows exits, and then re-enters at the destination, Hollows do not lose awareness of the world as they move through an Ulcera, and can return to the material world mid-step in response to a threat or opportunity. This technique does not take up a Technique slot.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): See Above
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) Costs 75 reiatsu per step.
Made By: Ajora
Reserved?: No
Technique Name: Cicatrices del Corazón [Scars of the Heart]
Class: Scales with User's Class up to 6 [8, 7, 6]
Technique Type: Hollow
Usable By : Hollow [Arcadia]
Technique Element: Illusion
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Arcadia can utilize this power to see the scars of a person's soul, in the form of their fears, traumas, dislikes, and possibly significant memories that etched themselves to the core of their being. This sight is triggered as long as she can see her intended target. She must remain focused on that one target, thus this ability only affects one person at a time. The illusions vary in strength based on Arcadia's power. At Class 8, the Illusion is only visual. At Class 7, the Illusion becomes Visual and Auditory, and at Class 6 the Illusion plays on the user's sense of Touch now as well. This only affects up to three senses of the target's five. [Costs 25 Reiatsu per post per sense affected, so 75 Per Post at Class 6]
The other drawback to this technique is that it requires direct eye contact. If one closes their eyes or averts them from the sad, red, orbs that emanate from behind Arcadia's mask, they can prevent her from looking into their soul. While a person is trapped in an illusion of Arcadia's projection, they are in reality standing still, staring directly at her as if locked in a stare down. - The other side to this is Arcadia must remain absolutely still as well, just staring into their soul.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Direct Eye Contact - This lasts as long as Arcadia pays the reiatsu cost or until it is resisted/broken out of.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc): Only Usable on 1 Target at a time, Requires Direct Eye Contact to initiate. - Affected by Illusion Resistance [Each Level of Resistance reduces the number of senses affected by 1, Rank 3 Illusion Resistance = Immunity from this Technique]

History:
In life, Arcadia Cortez was the victim of circumstance during the time of the holy inquisition. She was labeled a harlot and a heretic for asking the basic questions of existence. A woman of her time was not supposed to be educated, and to dare to ask such questions that dethroned humanity as the ultimate authority was an insult to the theocracy that ultimately led to her execution by the church. Though this memory has been consistently been remembered as death alone in a burning building, as the trauma made it impossible for her to clearly see the marking on her own soul.
In death, her soul haunted the execution platform where she was slain. She watched many more souls lead up to that platform and executed by the wicked humans who so carelessly ended their lives in the name of religious purity. Some souls lingered with her, unable to move on to the Soul Society, and some passed on naturally. It made Arcadia wonder just what the whole reason she was ever born for was. Though she would not have long to deal with that before encroachment finally caught up to her, and she became a Demi-Hollow.
As a Demi-Hollow, she roamed the streets of Barcelona, near the place where many came to watch the senseless organized butchery of their brothers and sisters in humanity. A few months went by, and she had tortured enough souls around her with her constant screaming for clarity on why they existed. This madness eventually consumed her soul and she became a Hollow, fully fledged. The question for existence could not be answered, no matter who she tortured and devoured. She was left alone with the misery of never knowing intellectual souls who wanted the same question.
The existence as a Hollow up until this point for Arcadia had been a vexing existence. Feeling the scars on souls she encountered and being rejected one after another until she devoured them drove her to the point of insanity. It made her long for a true friend, though friendship among Hollow was simply an ally of convenience here and there. It was clear a person would stab her in the back the moment a time presented itself. There was no loyalty.
The pain of living as a Hollow continued until the day she witnessed her first Arrancar. Seeing the beauty and majesty of their power. The humanity and resolve behind their actions made her long for such a state. The power they exhibited was another thing entirely that motivated her now to expand her 'familia' and grow so she could become a valuable asset to the beings, worthy of transformation.
Arcadia's eating habits evolved since the day she experienced the sight of an Arrancar. She began to hunt them, the weaker ones, and induct them into her Familia by devouring them. She felt by consuming these creatures she could expand her power and balloon in strength rapidly to evolve. That in lay the conundrum. Evolution did not seem to be something she needed to be educated on either. She just knew. The instinct to grow and improve was now ignited in its full animus. This brought Arcadia from the dormancy she had existed in thus far.
The lone wolf Hollow, Arcadia had become, now became a scourge upon the desert sands of the dead world of Hueco Mundo. She would devour other Hollow and Arrancar alike, not because she was maliciously trying to kill anyone. She was simply making them apart of herself, joining them into her 'familia', building the rank and file of emotions and memories she could draw from. The drawback is that part of this process has left her unable to see the scars on her own soul effectively. So some fears, and likes, and dislikes were never hers to begin with.
Now, the only thing that Arcadia exists for is to bring more Hollow into the fold of her Familia, and to expand her power to a stage that she becomes worthy of friendship, at least in the perverse sense of what Hollow consider friends. She longs for finally finding true loyalty and companionship. To find a soul with no intent to use her as a stepping stone to elevate themselves beyond. A futile effort, quite possibly, but she has not resigned herself to quit that quest.
