-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: [5’ 4” / 88 pounds]
Physical Description:
Having been a Beast clansman before being experimented on, Kane looks different from most Rogues. He is of average height, but very light for his size as his body is more Avian than human. He has feathery scales along his legs and arms, bird like feet, and a large beak for a face. His eyes are pitch black, with no discernable features. The feather-like features on his legs and arms have a blue tint to them on the upper parts of the limb, but are much darker, almost black, along the triceps and the shins. Along his beak are blue lines, tattoos into the hard shell of the structure.
Kane wears a brown cloak most of the time, tattered around the edges and barely covering his shoulders and back, revealing most of his avian features at all times. The cloak is of great condition, though, made of fine cloth and woven with care. It looks as though it was made by someone of skill with weaving and fine motor control, something Kane appears to lack as his hands are long and spindly with sharp nails at the end that look almost like claws. The Rogue is also always carrying some sort of jewelry on him, whether it be bracelets, earrings, necklaces… Anything shiny he can get his hands on.
When releasing his full Reiatsu force, the appearance of his spirit takes the form of a shimmering rainbow of color around him. It mimics the reiatsu color of those close to him, both in emotional bonding and physical presence. Enemies with unique reiatsu appearances, allies with Kane that he is close to, and even random bystanders will be able to see bits of their own essence reflected in his rainbow. As a result, the actual state of his Reiatsu is constantly in flux, and could be intimidating, pacifying, mesmerizing… any number of things it could be depending on who is near and who is looking at him.

-Personality-
Dislikes:
Crowds: Kane would much rather be alone than with a large group of people, not only because it’s hard to have a conversation or keep up with words flying at him when more than one person is talking at a time, but also because it’s easier to find things to take when there’s less people to keep moving around.
Swords: One of his few memories from his past involved swords, especially the flat of them being beat into his body. Very understandable that he doesn't like them.
Shinigami: Shinigami wield swords, usually. He also has found that they generally oppose his existence, and thus he doesn’t like them.
The word "Kasumi'Oji": He’s not sure why this word is embedded into his small brain, but he hates the word. He doesn’t even know what it means, but he hates it with passion.
Torture: Suffering of himself and others is something that Kane is also very against. He’d rather die than be subjected to more torture, though he’s not sure why the word “more” is there. Has he been tortured in the past? He can’t remember.
Pain: While most people dislike pain, Kane dislikes it to a higher degree than most. He’s almost hypersensitive to the sensation, going out of his way to avoid anything that would cause it.
Cars: Big, fast, metal death trap machines that don’t talk, just loudly scream. Yeah, no thank you.
Likes:
Shiny Things: For some reason, the glint of jewelry or mirrors or similar is enrapturing to Kane. He must have it, have it all!
Music: Instrumental, choral, normal? All of it, Kane is fascinated by. The hum of a note is perfection to his ears. When he can eventually learn to make it himself, he will be overjoyed.
Bugs: A delicacy, for sure. Eating bugs is delicious for the former Avian Beastclansman.
Axes: A curious thing to like for someone so against Swords, but there is something unnaturally pleasant about the shaft of a weighty axe in his claws.
Talking: Despite his lack of a vocabulary, Kane does enjoy talking and being talked to. The latter usually helps him form some sort of phrase that gets his thoughts in order, so he enjoys just listening sometimes as well.
Flaws:
Unable to form words for himself: The verbal processing part of Kane’s brain is damaged beyond repair. He can only repeat back words that he has heard recently, and while he may be able to piece together complete thoughts on occasion, more often he will just parrot back what he has heard in the voice of the one who said it previously.
Amnesiac: Kane has no memories from his past, just a name that he assumes is his and what is in the iPod that is his sealed Bakkoto. This causes him to have misunderstandings constantly with those who know what he is and him not knowing what he is, among other problems.
Kleptomaniac: Kane cannot stop stealing things, especially shiny things.
Incompatible with gigai technology: Having been an experimented on Beast clansman, Kane is incapable of wearing a gigai to blend in with the Land of the Living. He’s only able to be seen by those with some level of spiritual awareness, and cannot hide his presence from those that may hunt him.
Poor reiatsu control: While he may have above average storage of reiatsu and life force, he is bad at controlling it and it bursts out in untamed amounts regularly. This causes him to be easily sensed if he is around someone with any level of Energy Sensory.
Habits:
Mimicking: Kane mimics not only people’s words, but also their actions and body language. He’s a decent imitator and is often found behind someone, moving as they do and copying their words in their voice with just a slight echo/delay.
Playing/Listening to Music: Music is everything to Kane. If he has time to sit and play or listen to music, he will gladly do so for hours.
Talking with his hands: He’s very expressive with his gestures, adding emphasis to everything he says.
Writing “music”: When he’s not playing or listening to music, and has time on his hands, he can often be found combining words and tunes from the various songs he knows into new “songs” that may or may not make sense in the slightest.
Fears:
Coming face to face with the Kasumi’Oji that experimented on him: There’s an image in his iPod of a man who hides his face but talks down to Kane, ridiculing him. Kane never wants to meet this man, or anyone in his clan, again.
Losing all of his vocabulary and memories again: The Rogue is fighting for his memories and for words to speak again, losing it all again would be devastating.
Goals:
Survive: Who doesn’t want to survive? Kane above most has a desire to just stay alive and wander wherever he may go.
Piece together enough words to be able to have a real conversation.
Alignment: [True Neutral]
Overall Personality:
Kane is an odd sort. He’s a blank canvas of memories and vocabulary, but he still has a personality that shines through. For one, he’s enraptured by music and shiny things. He’s generally attracted to those things, so he’ll do whatever it takes to acquire them. He’ll steal, barter, beg. Anything it takes. When he has acquired them, he will hoard them until the time comes when he has to get up and move, often leaving them behind in shiny piles. Being a wanderer with an entire Society of Souls against his existence, these piles are frequently left.
To most living or post-living beings, Kane is peaceful and calm. He’s chipper with his mimicking, parroting back what he hears in a friendly sort of way. He can be swayed by the mood of others, though, so if someone is particularly grumpy or mad then Kane’s speech can take that form as well. The real exception is if he comes across anyone wielding a sword. In any situation where he sees a sheathed or drawn sword, he becomes hostile and hateful in his speech and actions, going often so far as to attack.
Having been an Avian Beastclansman in a previous stage of his life, Kane has some avian traits to his personality. For example, he likes to eat bugs. He’s also an early riser, and goes to bed early at night. As soon as it gets dark, he’s starting to feel the call for sleep and he feels the urge to wake even before the sun comes up sometimes. Just that shift in the motion of the insects that start to stir in the morning is enough to get him up, enthusiastically ready to start the day. Ready to find a morning meal of bugs and munch on those as he goes about his wandering for the day.
Wanderer is a good descriptor for Kane and how he handles himself. He’s not attached to any particular place at most times, so he’s just interested in where he can find food, music, and shiny things. This brings him to populated areas more often than wilderness type areas, though the latter is usually more plentiful in bugs. When he’s exhausted an area of things he can hoard, or is disturbed by an aggressive force or is just bored, he’ll pick up and move, leaving behind anything he’s gathered in the area in his search for the next shiny thing.

-Powers-
Fighting Style:
Kane fights with his release, nearly every time. He maintains his Bakkoto for as long as he can, utilizing its musical abilities with proficiency. He rarely jumps right to a high level of release, preferring to step-by-step release with greater power as the fight progresses. His most basic abilities allow him to launch ranged attacks and defend himself from ranged counters, but
it takes him time to be able to project large enough defenses to be of use. His basic ranged attacks, his screeching, are low in damage but easily plentiful in quantity.
As he increases in level of Jukebox Hero, and gains access to songs, he masterfully weaves them into his fighting. Before his guitar is formed, he will use his multiple voice capabilities to prepare multiple attacks at a time, rotating through song lyrics to build up power and reduce cost and sometimes leaving a song at just the right moment for a pause before launching the effect in multiple directions at one time in a burst. His fighting style at this point could definitely be considered a slow burn kind of style. He builds up power while avoiding attacks or using minor effects then releases in a burst and starts over.
When he forms his guitar, his style needs to change slightly. He can only prepare a high powered song one at a time as he needs to play them as he sings, so he will frequently prepare lower power songs with background mouths while playing his big “finale” kind of effect. He can switch what is necessary, a big defense or a big offense, proficiently given the situation at hand. His abilities are still mostly ranged in nature, but at forming his guitar he now has a sturdy melee weapon to utilize if necessary. Especially if he has managed to get “Let it Go” to land, opening up potential for a swift melee strike.
When forming his amplifying speakers, Kane will start to manipulate the battlefield to his control. He can plant durable objects that can force opponents to avoid specific locations or risk catching them off guard from behind among other battlefield control tactics. Being able to project any effect that he has raised at a range is a frequent tactic if he has managed to release all the way up to Level 1 in his step-by-step self-imposed requirement.
Other than just using his release to fight with, Kane is proficient with Axes, and if necessary will utilize one to hack and cut at opponents. His guitar also forms multiple axes, so if he has released up to that level then he can use that in close quarters proficiently. He prefers to use the blade of his axe to maximum effect, aiming for joints to sever limbs in the most brutal but efficient way possible. He doesn’t often aim for shallow cuts or torso attacks, preferring to use his release against the whole of a person instead of their extremities.
Bakkoto Name: [Jukebox Hero]
Bakkoto Sealed Appearance: [The Sealed Appearance of this Bakkoto’s physical half is a damaged iPod and headphones. It contains little of anything until Kane reaches higher power at which time it will contain up to two new songs per class. The only message on it at the beginning is a shadowy figure saying "Kane Coo… You are unloved, worthless. Be gone." Starting at class 4, there will be tutorial videos on how to play the guitar. The parasite half is embedded in Kane's shoulder, hidden usually by his cloak but otherwise a gross growth taking over the entire joint with a sickly eye at the center.
Bakkoto Release Appearance:
Level 7: When first releasing, the iPod absorbs into his hand and the parasitic eye forms tentacles that overtake Kane’s beak, forming a big purple fleshy beak overtop of his own. When open, Kane's beak can no longer be seen, just a forked tongue visible. The tongue of this beak has a single eye in the center of it. This beak is capable of singing with a tenor’s voice.
Level 6: This next level of release forms two mouths, this time attached to the shoulders facing to either side of him. The tongues of the new mouths have one eye in the center, but the original beak's tongue has a second smaller eye underneath the first one. These mouths sing with a baritone’s voice.
Level 5: The third level has another mouth created. From the front of the chest a mouth forms that is bigger than the rest of them. This mouth sings with a bass’s voice. At this level, it has 1 eye on its tongue while the shoulder mouths have 2 and the face beak has 3.
Level 4: This level is much different than the former levels. Reaching into the chest mouth, Kane pulls out a large electric guitar. This guitar doubles as a dual edged axe with blades on the edge of the main body. There is a single, sickly looking eye underneath the strings on the main body. The number of eyes on the tongues of the mouths have increased by one like before.
Level 3: Not much changes in this level. The amount of eyes on the mouths and guitar has increased by one, and a small axe blade has formed on the opposite end of the guitar, on the end with the tuning pegs.
Level 2: The guitar has now become double necked, with two axe heads on the end of it to total four axe blades now on this weapon. Along the side of the guitar is a small piano keyboard. It only has a small selection of notes, containing three octaves worth of keys. All of the amounts of eyes increased by one.
Level 1: This level, while the most powerful, is also the most strange. Kane grows a second set of arms made out of purple pulsating flesh. These comically long arms are attached to his shoulder blades and have oversized hands about three times larger than his physical hands. At the palms of the hand is a gaping hole. In addition, small microphones such as the ones actors use emerge in front of each of the mouths. Also, all of the amounts of eyes increase by one. More will be explained in the powers section.
Bakkoto Overall Ability:
This Bakkoto’s Overall Ability is based off of Music and Songs. Levels 7, 4, and 1 gain their power through basic musical techniques. Level 7 has singing, level 4 has instrument playing, and Level 1 has amplification. The rest of the levels gain their power through Songs. Each level has 2 songs that have a Key phrase, such as Level 6’s “Shot to the heart” from Bon Jovi’s “You give love a bad name”. Upon singing that phrase and paying the reiatsu cost, the ability of the level is unleashed. Each Level has an Offensive Song and a Defensive Song.
Singing the key phrase is not the only way these powers can be used, though. By singing lyrics before the key phrase, the rogue builds up more power. This makes the reiatsu cost decrease as well as the size of the effect bigger. This can make the use of this power free if enough time is built up singing. For example, Shot to the heart makes an increased size or quantity of bullets emerge for less reiatsu cost. All of the specifics on each level’s effect, as well as the effect for more lines sung are in the Level descriptions. It is important to note that Fast Speaking would not improve the power of this release. The lyrics must be sung coherently, in cadence with the actual song, like an incantation would have to be spoken to get full power.
One key part of the singing to note is that the lines do not have to be sung in the same post, nor do they have to be consecutive. Singing two songs, alternating every line, would still build up strength to both Key Phrases at equal rates, though it would take twice as long, obviously. To not lose progress on the song, no words of the song can be skipped before the Key Phrase is activated. The Key Phrase can, however, be sung but not activated to build up more lines. If a line of a song is not sung for 2 consecutive posts, the progress on the song is also lost. The benefit to having multiple mouths during release comes in that multiple songs can be sung at the same time. If a Key phrase is sung in unison by more than one mouth that power will activate out of both mouths for the same cost as 1 mouth.
When the guitar forms, playing the song’s main guitar part while also singing causes the range of the effect to increase. Rather than becoming a simple blast or a targeted attack, the guitar causes the power to be shot outwards with a wide cone. Again, in the case of the Level 6 offensive key phrase, it would cause bullets to spray out in a shotgun pattern. With there only being one set of strings until Level 2, only one song requiring playing can be prepared at a time until Level 2 at which point the amount increases to 2.
Level 1 is much different. Level 1 is capable of generating large speaker sets out of the hands. For a cost of 200 reiatsu, a speaker set with spiritual durability equal to double Kane’s dominant spiritual stat is created. It can last indefinitely throughout release refreshes (can’t be brought into a new thread, though) and has a speaker on all four sides as well as the top. Inside is an amplifier, which increases the range and size of all effects of the former songs by a factor of 2. When songs are projected into a speaker set, it is broadcast out of each speaker in a 180 degree arc, making it possible to cover the whole immediate area around it without having to target. Obviously, he is immune to any special effects of these speakers, but not immune to physical projections from it, such as Level 6’s bullets. (Key Phrases marked by a * represent effects that Kane is immune to)
Bakkoto Levels:
Level 7:
Offensive Voice: At the most basic of levels, the Bakkoto is capable of making a high pitched screech. This screech looks a lot like a Bala in shape and is shot out of the mouth. The size of this shot is comparable to a baseball. It costs a simple 25 reiatsu to cast this technique. For every Bakkoto level higher, the size of the blast increases by four inches in radius. This attack deals basic blunt force damage equal to Kane’s Strength and travels at 250 speed, increased by 50 per level of Release Kane is in.
Defensive Voice: By maintaining a long drawn out note, the mouth using this technique is capable of generating a small sonic shield in front of it. At Level 7, the shield is only big enough to cover the head. It has a cost of 25 reiatsu per post. For every Bakkoto Level higher, the size increases by a foot in radius.
Level 6:
Offensive Song: Upon singing “Shot to the Heart” from Bon Jovi’s “You give love a bad name” a one-inch diameter bullet is shot out of the mouth. It travels at a speed of 300 and has strength equal to the Rogue’s strength. For every extra line that is sung, the size of the bullet increases by two inches in diameter. For every five extra lines sung, an extra bullet is formed. If at least three extra lines are sung, this bullet will target the nearest heart in the area*. It won’t seek after it, but it will project towards it from the origin mouth. It has a cost of 100 reiatsu that decreases by 10 for every extra line sung.

Shot through the heart
And you're to blame
Darlin', you give love a bad name
An angel's smile is what you sell
You promise me heaven, then put me through Hell
Chains of love got a hold on me
When passions a prison, you can't break free
Oh, you're a loaded gun, yeah
Oh, there's nowhere to run
No one can save me
The damage is done
Shot through the heart
And you're to blame
You give love a bad name (bad name)
I play my part and you play your game
You give love a bad name (bad name)

Defensive Song: “Hungry like the wolf” from the song of the same name by Duran Duran. Singing this Key Phrase causes the mouth that sings it to be converted to the snout of a wolf for a brief period of time. It can no longer be used to sing Key Phrases in this form, but can howl. This howl projects a shield, much like the Defensive Voice of the Level 7 form, but this shield can consume what it comes in contact with. Anything reiatsu based will be drained of Offensive Strength by 5%, increasing by 1% for each 2 lines sung previously that activated this mouth and capping out at 25%. Anything physical based will find the object/person making contact rotting away with minor necrotic damage, increased with prolonged contact. The shield starts at two feet in diameter, increasing by one foot for each 5 lines sung. The starting reiatsu cost is 200 for 3 posts of wolf snout and each howl costs a flat 50 reiatsu. The cost of the technique decreases by 10 per line sung and the duration increases by 1 post per 5 lines sung.

Dark in the city night is a wire
Steam in the subway earth is afire
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
Woman you want me give me a sign
And catch my breathing even closer behind
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
In touch with the ground
I'm on a hunt down after you
Smell like I sound I'm lost in a crowd.
And I'm hungry like the wolf.
Straddle the line in discord and rhyme
I'm on a hunt down after you.
Mouth is alive with juices like wine
And I'm hungry like the wolf
Stalked in the forest too close to hide
I'll be upon you by the moonlight side
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
High blood Drumming on your skin it's so tight
You feel my heat I'm just a moment behind
Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo
In touch with the ground
I'm on a hunt down after you
Scent and a sound. I'm lost and I'm found
And I'm hungry like the wolf.
Strut on a line it's discord and rhyme

Level 5:
Offensive Song: “Set fire to the rain” from the song of the same name by Adele. This causes a stream of flaming water ten feet long to spew out of the mouth that sings it. It has all of the properties of water and all of the properties of fire at the same time. The starting cost/size is 200 and 2 feet wide. Every line makes the cost go down by 10, the width to increase by 1 foot, and the length to increase by 2 feet. The starting blast is capable of inflicting first degree burns, and the burn degree increases by 1 for every 5 lines sung. Similarly, after 10 lines sung, the water aspect is capable of freezing objects solid. Freezing burns aren’t fun.

I let it fall, my heart,
And as it fell you rose to claim it
It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they're strong
But my knees were far too weak
To stand in your arms
Without falling to your feet
But there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true
And the games you play
You would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming Out your name
Your name
When I lay with you
I could stay there
Close my eyes
Feel you here forever
You and me together nothing gets better
'Cause there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true
And the games you play
You would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name
Your name
I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
Well, it felt something died
'Cause I knew that that was
The last time, the last time
Sometimes I wake up by the door
That heart you caught must be waiting for you
Even now when we're already over
I can't help myself from looking for you
I set fire to the rain
Watched it pour as I touched your face

*Defensive Song: “Eye of the Tiger'' from the song of the same name by Survivor. Singing this song releases a wave of sonic energy that can be either directed at an opponent, or can be directed at Kane himself. This sonic wave travels at 400 speed and is visible to anyone with 50 or more senses, increasing by 50 speed per 2 lines song. It is as large as a minivan. If anyone who is not the Rogue is struck by this sonic wave, they will find that the Eye of the Tiger is upon them as the Eye of Sauron appears in the Lord of the Rings movies. This inflicts a debuff to Energy Sensory of a flat 50 points as the Eye distracts from the ability to sense other presences, lasting for 3 posts and extending by 1 for every 5 extra lines sung. This Debuff is increased by 50 for every 5 extra lines sung. The sonic energy can be instead directed at the Rogue himself to increase his Senses by an equal amount that the Debuff would apply for an equal amount of time. The starting reiatsu cost for this technique is 300, which decreases by 10 for every extra line sung.

Rising up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all
With the eye of the tiger
Face to face, out in the heat
Hanging tough, staying hungry
They stack the odds 'til we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all
With the eye of the tiger
Rising up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not going to stop
Just a man and his will to survive

Level 4:
Offensive Instrumentation: At the most basic of instrumentation, the Axe Guitar is capable of generating a “Power Chord”. This is a much bigger version of the sonic screech from the mouths. It fires in a much larger cone, and does a great deal more damage. Not only does it deal blunt damage, but also tearing damage as the sonic waves are sharp. This attack costs 150 reiatsu per blast. The beginning range is 4 feet forwards and is in a cone that ends in a 3 foot radius. Every class above this increases the range by 2 feet and the cone by 3 foot in radius.
*Defensive Instrumentation: The Axe Guitar is also capable of generating a “Dissonance Chord”. This Chord is a short burst of just a split second, unlike the Defensive Singing, that is capable of completely tearing apart techniques that it comes in contact with, resolving with standard Class clash. Living things targeted by the Dissonance Chord may find the screech annoying or slightly painful to the ears, but no other ill effects are caused. This has a short range of just a foot in distance, but the cone is extremely large, protecting the entire front half of the Rogue. It costs 150 reiatsu to power this Dissonance Chord. Every Class above this doubles the range and width of the Chord.
Level 4 Upgrades:
Shot to the Heart, when played on the guitar and sung creates a shotgun of bullets. They no longer target hearts, trading that function for raw numbers. 20 bullets are created in a shotgun spread, that number increasing by 5 for every extra line sung.
Set Fire to the Rain, when played on the guitar and sung, creates a blast cone wave of fire water. It starts with a cone that reaches ten feet in diameter at a distance of five feet, increasing the range and cone radius size by one foot for every extra line sung.
Level 3:
*Offensive Song: “Radioactive” from the song of the same name by the Imagine Dragons. Playing this song on the guitar while also singing it causes a cone burst of poisonous radiation. These waves travel faster than sound, traveling the range of the attack in the blink of an eye. If struck by these waves, the victim will start to feel their body grow weaker and break apart. Every post afterwards, they will lose 1% of their physical stats. The base range of this attack is ten feet with a cone size of one foot in diameter. For every extra line sung, the range of the attack extends by five feet and the cone size increases by one foot in diameter. The length of time that this poison lasts, at base, is five posts. For every extra five lines sung, it increases by two posts. The post count can be refreshed if the target is struck again. After the poison wears off, the stats return by 1% every 2 posts. This attack costs 300 to initiate, the cost of which decreases by 10 for every extra line sung.

*Defensive Song: “Let it Go” from the song of the same name by Idina Menzel in Disney’s Frozen. Playing this song while singing it releases a small cone of sound waves. This defense, while larger in range than the Dissonance Chord, has the shortest range of all of the Key Phrases. That is because it has, arguably, the most powerful defense. Upon activating the Key Phrase, the cone shoots out at two feet in range with a cone radius of one foot. Anyone caught in this blast will find their hands opening up against their will. They will simply drop anything in their hands and be unable to hold onto anything until the effect allows them access to their hands again. The base length of time that their hands are open is five seconds. For every extra line sung, the range of the cone increases by one foot while the cone radius increases by one foot as well. The length of time that the victim’s hands remain unusable for grasping increases by five seconds for every extra line as well. At five extra lines sung, the hands will be locked open for a whole post. For every five extra lines after that, the amount of posts will increase by 1. This defense costs 400 to initiate, the cost of which decreases by 10 for every extra line sung.

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like I'm the queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I've tried
Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well, now they know
Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don't care what they're going to say
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway
It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all
It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
I'm free
Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see me cry
Here I stand and here I stay
Let the storm rage on
My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back, the past is in the past
Let it go, let it go
When I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand in the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen

Level 2:
Offensive Song: “I feel the earth move under my feet” from the song of the same name by Carole King. Playing this song while singing it releases a sonic pulse from the guitar into the ground. This sonic pulse attaches to the earth, allowing the Rogue to manipulate it at will using the piano keys on the guitar as a controller. Each octave sends commands to one grouping of earth, so at most this technique can be used three separate times at once to form three Living Hills. The earth moves at a stat speed of 400, but has a starting physical strength of 500. They only have basic pushing/crushing/smashing capabilities at first. At base, the amount of earth Animated by this song is five feet cubed. For every extra line sung, this number increases by five. For every five extra lines sung, the earth’s physical strength increases by 100. If at least 10 extra lines are sung, the Hills will form into Hands that can grab/crush/maim/whatever Kane needs them to do. The starting reiatsu cost for this technique is 600, which decreases by 10 for every extra line sung. This animation lasts for 3 posts, +1 for each 5 lines sung.

I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin' down
I feel my heart start to tremblin'
Whenever you're around
Ooh baby, when I see your face
Mellow as the month of May
Oh darlin', I can't stand it
When you look at me that way, hey
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin' down
I feel my heart start to tremblin'
Whenever you're around
Oh darlin', when you're near me
And you tenderly call my name
I know that my emotions
Are somethin' I just can't tame
I just got to have ya, baby
Baby, baby, yeah
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin' down, a-tumblin' down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin' down, a-tumblin' down
I just a-lose control
Down to my very soul
I get hot and cold
All over, all over, all over, all over
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin' down, a-tumblin' down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumblin' down, tumblin' down
Tumblin' down, tumblin' down
Tumblin' down
Tumblin' down

*Defensive Song: “Thunderstruck” from the song of the same name by AC/DC. Playing this song while singing it releases a massive burst of destructive force from the guitar. Kane is wreathed in the appearance of lightning in a 360 degree field of energy. Anything that comes in contact with this energy within the first second after activation of the Key Phrase will be subjected to high voltage power that is capable of disintegrating reiatsu based constructs and techniques and blowing off flesh to the bone of people standing within six inches of him. Following that second of destruction comes the Thunder, a clap of force as the lightning dissipates into a pulse capable of physically throwing everything within twenty feet of Kane, using ¾ his Offensive Spiritual Stat as physical pushing Strength. Every line increases the range of the pulse by 2 feet. Every two lines increases the duration of the lightning by 1 second. Every 5 lines increases the Strength by ¼ Kane’s Offensive Spiritual Stat, capping at 2x. This costs 600 reiatsu to initiate, decreased by 10 for every line sung.

Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder
I was caught
In the middle of a railroad track
I looked round
And I knew there was no turning back
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you
Sound of the drums
Beating in my heart
The thunder of guns
Tore me apart
You've been
Thunderstruck
Rode down the highway
Broke the limit, we hit the town
Went through to Texas, yeah Texas, and we had some fun
We met some girls
Some dancers who gave a good time
Broke all the rules
Played all the fools
Yeah yeah they, they, they blew our minds
And I was shaking at the knees
Could I come again please
Yeah them ladies were too kind
You've been
Thunderstruck
I was shaking at the knees
Could I come again please
Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck
It's alright, we're doin' fine
It's alright, we're doin' fine, fine, fine
Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah
Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck
Thunderstruck, baby, baby

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck

Level 1:
Level 1 has no special songs or new abilities granted by it. Its power is Amplification, mentioned above in the Overall Ability. Any of the songs or Basic Music techniques from the previous levels can be channeled through a speaker for an increased reiatsu cost of 200. This doubles the size and range and efficacy of the techniques. More bullets shoot out, the Basic Singing Shield is larger, etc. For the effects of Hungry like the Wolf, Radioactive, Let it Go, and the Hills are Alive the post length of effect doubles. There can be a max of 6 speakers at any given time and they can be deconstructed at Will for no cost.
Bakkoto Zero Stage: [Insert Here]
The Ultimate Stage of Power. The stage where there is no turning back. After using this, the Rogue will die.
“Let the bodies hit the floor” from “Bodies” by Drowning Pool.
It starts with a whisper coming from Kane, with no guitar playing.
“Let the bodies hit the floor”
A white column of light bathes Kane and all of the current speakers in energy three feet wide. The Zero Stage has begun. The columns of light are shafts of gravity so strong that light has an issue escaping. Essentially, they are fields made up of Black Holes. These press down on the ground with incredible force. Anyone who is caught in this field is unable to move without Strength equivalent to 3x Kane’s Offensive Spiritual Stat and unable to reject the field without Reiatsu Strength of 3x. It would be difficult to catch opponents in this field if all it did was come down over the Rogue and his speakers, however, the song is not over. The acapella whisper that starts the Zero Stage is just to ensure that Kane cannot be killed in the process of utilizing the Zero Stage. Without offensive superiority of 3x, no attack can penetrate the field to harm him.
“Let the bodies hit the floor”
The range of each field increases by fifty feet. By now, enemies and allies who did not immediately step away are probably caught in the field, unable to move. Only able to watch as the song continues.
“Let the bodies hit the floor”
The range of each field is now at three hundred feet. Even some of the faster enemies or those with the sense to avoid the Rogue might be caught up.
“Let the bodies hit the floor”
One thousand feet.
“Let the bodies hit the floor”
One mile.
“Let the bodies hit the floooooooooooooor!”
Everything that has been caught by the gravity fields, whether they are living creatures, allies, enemies, or buildings is crushed. Flattened with the force of a collapsing star. The only way to survive is to have the Strength or Reiatsu Strength necessary to escape the field in the first place. Everything, including the Rogue and all of his speakers are flattened as well, killed in the process of reducing everything around him to nothingness.
A truly terrifying ability.

-History-
Birthplace: [Wilderness of the Rukongai]
Current Residence: [Wandering in Europe]
Memorable Figures: Mysterious Kasumi’Oji Clan member
Seventh Seat of Squad 10, Kamino Chizuru.
History:
Kane’s history is blurry to himself, pretty much nonexistent in his memories, but he was at one point in time a Beast clansman born in the Soul Society. He was strong of body and sharp of mind, a Clansman that had grown in power enough to unlock the full potential of his Yaseishin without going Feral. He caught the attention of a wandering Shinigami and was welcomed into the Gotei 13, serving for a time in the tenth division and abandoning his former power for a Zanpakutou.
His commanding officer at the time was a great woman, Seventh Seat of the tenth squad, strong and capable of handing Kane’s butt to him at any time they trained together. He served under her as a Beast Clansman unseated recruit for a few years, growing stronger as time passed. While he never was strong enough to hold a Seat in the squad, he did manage to save Kamino’s life a couple of times with his brute strength. Hollows had been no match for their combined might, his unnatural Beastly strength and her cunning.
On the night that Kamino died, Kane had just come from training. There was a brutal assault on the Soul Society by an army from Las Noches, led by Kuroi Naito, the former Segunda Espada now Envainar. Kane and Kamino were back to back, holding off a part of the invasion when he felt her take a hit that he knew was going to be too much for her to survive. Her back was thrust into his from the force of the blow, and he knew that she was dead when she slumped to the ground. Frustrated and in rage at not having been strong enough to protect his CO, he went on a rampage until the army was recalled.
Recovery from that night was going great, until he met the Kasumi’Oji. His Zanpakutou that he manifested was a curious one, capable of storing and releasing sound waves like a recorder. While training, his release had picked up a conversation between two nobles about… less than legal activities. Confused at what was being said, he confronted them. They, of course, denied everything, but when he used his Zanpakutou as proof, they became enraged. They pulled strings to get him kicked out of the Gotei 13 for “insubordination”, then hauled him to their Manor.
In the depths of the Kasumi’Oji Manor, Kane found himself subjected to painful torture for the pleasure of torture. With as much electro-“therapy” that he underwent, his brain was damaged and he started to lose his ability to think straight or talk. The torturers went further, mixing up a concoction of Amnesia pills into an injectable, then forcing him to lose everything that he had been, done, and was. They didn’t even bother to rehabilitate him, they just experimented on him in silence.
They grew a Bakkoto parasite into his shoulder, connecting it to a damaged Human World item they had obtained, an iPod, and forced him out of the Soul Society into the Land of the Living. The head experimenter, a man whose name Kane never caught, left a recording on the device. “Kane Coo… You are unloved, worthless. Be gone." The iPod was connected to the parasite in that it would expand and grow as the now-Rogue gained control over it. They assigned it the name “Jukebox Hero” as a joke and kicked him out into the world with nothing left of his past life.
In the Land of the Living, with nothing to his name, not even his name, Kane woke up. He woke up naked and in pain, holding onto this iPod with headphones plugged in and an ache in his shoulder. Naked wasn’t so bad as he was mostly a bird-man, but it was cold in the winter in Norway where he found himself at the time. He stumbled to his feet, looking for anything around that could help him find meaning in his blank mind.
He saw a small fishing hut and decided to walk towards it. The fisherman at the pier couldn’t see him and was silent, so Kane found that he couldn’t find any words to say. What were words, again? The amnesia pills and the torture had permanantly altered his brain. He couldn’t say anything in his own voice any more, he didn’t even remember what he sounded like. The only thing he knew is that the glistening water of the lake was pretty, and that he was freezing cold.
On a clothesline next to the hut was a brown sheet of fabric, fashioned into a hood and what could pass as a cloak. It wasn’t very long. It looked worn but of good material, woven with love. That was the first thing that Kane stole. He put on the cloak and felt warmer, and decided that it was his now. He also saw a shiny pane of glass that he attempted to steal, for reasons he couldn’t quite put together, but that broke as he tried to grab it and startled the fisherman.
Not being able to see the Rogue, he went back to his fishing, humming a song. Kane felt drawn to the man, sitting down and listening to him hum and wait for a bite. It was… beautiful, that music. He listened until the man went inside, having caught nothing that day. As the shadows of dusk started to fall on Kane’s first day in his second life, he found himself just picking up and walking away. There was nothing tying him to this spot, so he just left. He fiddled with the device he had woken up with, pressing just the right button to accidentally bring up the message from the Kasumi’Oji.
“Kane Coo… You are unloved, worthless. Be gone.” With a heavy heart, Kane began his wandering, feeling worthless, unloved, and exiled…
