"Kurohitsugi... Hiden: Shonin Joka Mizusekkai!"
Senshi's words very quickly reached the Akki's own ears, prompting a rather sadistic smirk to stretch across the man's now-actual face. These words filled him with anticipation; excitement! Seems that someone wasn't going to acknowledge his plans to keep things calm. Seems things were going to be kicked up a notch. He didn't care. He'd feign his emotions for as long as he could, but there was no telling when he'd let his true intentions show through. Especially with all of the opposition quickly making themselves known across the battlefield.
As the Captain's inky black reiatsu quickly began to encapsulate the two of them in a seemingly last-ditch move, he made no effort to run. No effort to block, escape, or anything of the like. No, he was just going to sit there, and take it. Well, that was what he was going to feign. When he found himself completely out of view of everyone around him, only in front of Senshi, he simply vanished. Placidus would find itself useful once more, as the Akki leapt from the plane of existence, making use of the iconic teleportation technique he and Alastor had access to, and simply waited a few short moments.
As the smoke began to clear, and everything in that immediate area found itself impaled by blades of fine reiatsu, both Kurohitsugi and Senshi's own release, Orobas reappeared. Teleporting back into Seireitei, he stood unharmed as the walls around him began to clear, dissipating as quickly as they'd been created. Crossing his arms, he simply watched the girl as she grew seemingly weaker, and spoke once more. "I'm so sorry...that I was so weak. Everyone..." He watched as she dropped, seemingly unable to press on.
"Poor, poor Senshi; seems your words were nothing more than mere ink on paper, no?"
The Akki made sure to speak loud enough to carry his voice to the ears of the other Captains, without needing to shout. He wasn't going to if he didn't need to. Though, as he finished speaking, it seemed his own eardrums were assaulted rather violently by the shout of an apparent "Hado". Having the mental faculties to process the situation and act in record time, Orobas simply tensed up their body, aptly flexing against the incoming strike from the "Captain". Squinting his eyes, he watched the man flip backward, and almost gracefully position himself next to Senshi.
"You dastardly Hellion! How could you do this to my fellow captain!" Just who the hell did this guy think he was? "Oh, please," he spoke, his voice continuing to echo over itself, "she did all of that to herself. I simply stood there and took the hit; much like I did now. I don't believe I made a retaliatory strike against you, did I? Typical scum Shinigami; committing atrocities and blaming those that don't defend themselves."
To those keen on picking up personality traits, it seemed Orobas was letting some of their true colors start to show. Evident pain made itself present in their voice, as he glared daggers into the man before him. Crossing his arms, he simply stood and watched the combat unfold; Alastor growing ever aggressive, Celes making her retorts and returned blows, the works. Truthfully, it quickly began to work something up within him. Something he was going to keep down for as long as he could manage; violence wasn't needed. Not yet, at least. As much as this... power drove him to want to unleash it all upon Seireitei, the time for that would come.
Keeping his arms crossed, and glaring across the battlefield, Orobas spoke once more. "Do you Shinigami not see the futility in your actions? Do you not see the events soon to play out? Your time is running out. Each and every one of you are soon to face the end times; I wonder just how you'll all deal with it."
Once again speaking an incantation, and pointing his hand toward the newly-arrived "shinigami", Orobas began to cast. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six. Another set of rods of light began to form around Kitai, and just as quickly closed themselves in. The question was, would he find himself out of the way in time?
