Character Name: Celes Shindazu
Previous Real Age: 72
Current/New Real Age: 73
Previous Age of Appearance: 27
Current/New Age of Appearance: 27
New Ideals/Personality: N/A
New Appearance: Nothing much has changed in Celes' physical appearance. She is still rather well-toned, standing at around 5'7. She still wears her hair down as a natural blonde. She continues to wear her Shihakusho most of the time though her recent promotion to Captaincy has granted her the right to wear the Haori of the Tenth Division. As is traditional, her Haori carries the emblem of the Tenth Division on it which she wears with pride. Celes' twin Zanpakutou continue to retain their jade white blade with a purple and black hilt, carrying them along her hip usually stowed away in sheaths. The Captain retains several scars and minor burns from previous encounters with Orobas and Camila.
While Celes' sealed state and physical attributes have garnered few differences, it's her Shikai and Bankai that begin to display significant changes. Before, Celes utilized a Shikai consisting of a spear and shield and a Bankai that shrouded her in a set of armor. Upon activating Shikai, the change is immediate and very apparent. Instead of summoning a sword and shield, Celes' Shikai instead produces a large red ribcage that surrounds Celes. This ribcage is 8 ft tall and surrounds her entire body at all times providing a 360° defense for as long as it is active. While using her Shikai, Celes also becomes shrouded in a red aura that emanates from the ribcage that she produces.
When introducing enhancements through the use of her Shikai, it continues to change. Eventually it begins producing skeletal hands of fifteen-foot length each with a 5 ft tall head. These additions of a head and arms further focus the Astral Self to also develop a skeletal body. This body further increases the overall size of the Astral Self to 15 ft in height. The reddened shroud continues to encompass the entire skeletal structure, giving the Astral Self a ghostly feel. This ghostly feel is further compounded by the Astral Self's own skeletal structure which appeared very wispy and frail but is actually hard as steel. This may give the initial impression that the Astral Self is not particularly bulky. The Eyes provided by the head take on a yellow glow.
As Celes' Shikai progresses, the skeletal figure of the Astral Self changes. Connective tissue begins to slide over skeleton, giving it musculature. To add onto this, skin then proceeds to span every inch of the Astral Self which gives it a much more human appearance. This raises the Astral Self to an impressive height of 20 ft. The Astral Self is not weaponless, however, as the two arms have the capability to provide two weapons. Reminiscent of Celes' former Shikai, the Astral Self is granted a broadsword and shield which Celes is able to summon forth. The Broadsword has an impressive range of 25 ft while the shield appears thick and bulky with a diameter of 12 ft. At this point, the Astral Self summoned by Celes looks rather imposing.
The final stage of Celes' Shikai allows her to fortify the defenses of the Astral Self even further. The Humanoid appearance of the Astral Self with muscles and skin gives it a much more solid look as the Astral Self is no longer wispy. The next stage on the other hand returns it to a much more sinister appearance once more. The wispy appearance returns as armor begins to slide over much of the Astral Self's newfound skin. This changes it, covering the had though a gap provided by what's effectively a helmet reveals two shining yellow orbits. The helmet resembles the face of a Tengu. Sashes begin to wrap around body of and arms of the Astral Self. This grants the avatar a supreme defense and allows the Astral Self to tower over most with an impressive height of 25 ft.
After having undergone these significant dynamic changes and produced an imposing Astral Self shrouded in armor, Celes may activate her Bankai. This gives the Astral Self some enhancements. For most of this time, Celes has been reserved to the ground, the mighty Astral Self following her movements with herself as the epicenter. Bankai which completes the Astral Self gives it legs as Celes rises into its stomach. This raises the Astral Self to a total height of 40 ft. The sashes covering its body become more akin to a robe not entirely unlike Celes' own Shihakusho. Fire-like hair emerges from the head as a Tengu-like mask covers its face. Large mighty wings emerge from the Astral Self's back allowing for flight which finishes its new form. The wispy appearance once again becomes solid. At this point, Celes will appear as though she is commanding a Tengu Avatar.
New History: Ever since her taking up the mantle of captaincy, a number of events had occurred in Celes' life. First and foremost is the day that she was promoted. Having to show off her capability to reach Bankai, Celes did so without hesitation. Earning the rank of Captain after being Vice Captain for a couple months, Celes participated in a training exercise originally organized and hosted by her Third Seat, Miranda. An unfortunate circumstance of a Hollow siting in the Rukongai forced Celes to send Miranda though she was more than willing to continue overseeing the training exercise in the hopes of encouraging camaraderie between herself, the Tenth Division and the Eleventh Division.
The initial meeting with one of her new recruits, Wynne Kuchiki, proved to be a wonderful experience for the Captain. The pair got to know each other a bit. Celes received more insight into Wynne's goals and upbringing as a noble while the fledgling Shinigami learned of Celes' humbling past and expectations of the Squad. Overall, the two Shinigami ended on fairly good terms with a renewed understanding of the others' expectations and values. Shortly afterwards, Wynne mysteriously disappeared with the Rogue Shinigami, Camila. This naturally arose a bit of panic in Celes though she did not know Camila's involvement in Wynne's sudden disappearance.
Sometime following the mysterious disappearance of one of her unseated officers, Wynne Kuchiki, the Shinigami returned to face Celes. Rejuvenated and changed by the Arrancar, Col, Celes had a talk with Wynne about her absence. A bit of sparring later and some comments from Wynne made this reunion become an emotional turmoil for the Captain. Learning of Camila's death and dealing with Wynne's hesitancy to reveal the whole truth certainly took its toll. So much so that she nearly had a psychotic break induced by Inner Hollow that resides within her. After some more discussing, Celes made amends with her Officer and sent her off to meet up with Kimiko for further personalized training.
After meeting with Aldwin, Celes found her that Shikai and Bankai were inaccessible to her. Not even Yunorashi would answer her. Determined and steadfast, Celes entered her Inner World and received training from a most unusual source. Her Inner Hollow Yukito aimed to unlock her full potential, basically blackmailing Celes' with Yunorashi's safety. After a gut-wrenching display of barbarism and some training, Celes was able to call upon that power that awaited her, summoning the avatar forth to fight alongside her. With that, Yukito offered some foreboding hints at the future that awaited both him and Celes.
New Fighting Style: Celes' fighting style while sealed has not changed much. She is still an expert in Hakuda and in the use of her Zanpakutou. Using her physical prowess and dominating physical strength, Celes utilizes a very offensive style. If Celes knows she has an advantage in agility, she will take full advantage of it. Literally running circles around her opponents and utilizing multiple angles of attack to maintain a pressure and tempo that she knows will prove disadvantageous to most that she is fighting. In cases where she is fighting an equally agile or even faster opponent, Celes is much more careful, utilizing her knowledge of body mechanics and Hakuda to execute counterattacks and redirection blows.
Celes can use her Zanpakutou to devastating effect. A set of twin Katana, Celes can take full advantage of multiple attacks. Her use of shockwaves while armed or unarmed gives her a tool to use in ranged combat though she much prefers up close and personal where she is most effective. Her style changes during training or friendly spars. Holding back by quite a bit, she tries to land punches that are equivalent in strength to her training partner. Gradually increasing her speed and strength, she prefers to not be impossible to overcome, but not be such a pushover that her training partners don't have to try. She sometimes uses the blunt side of her Zanpakutou or even her hilt to avoid cutting her students.
Unfortunately, Celes still has a major unfamiliarity with using Kido. Relying on her skills as a martial artist, speed and Zanjutsu, Celes continues to forsake the magical arts of the Shinigami. Using her superior physical capabilities, Celes is able to make up for this weakness by simply neutralizing spiritual abilities such as Kido with her inherent strength. This is risky, however, when fighting against a clever or simply more dominant opponent. If the situation demands it, Celes is not above performing a tactical retreat in an effort to approach the obstacle with a fresh set of eyes. Despite that, Celes will very rarely flee from an opponent unless she feels that the odds are significantly stacked against her.
Despite significant difference between Celes' former and current Zanpakutou release, her fighting style has not changed too significantly. Instead of a suit of armor in Bankai, Celes instead manifests and projects her Astral Self in Shikai which gives her a solid defense against opponents. She uses this natural defense to allow for aggressive movements. The additions of arms later allow Celes to maintain a range advantage while grabbing and even crushing her opponents. Alternatively, she is prepared to hit them with her devastating strength, mimicked through her Astral Self. The addition of a head which increases Celes' vision and intimidation allows her to assume a more analytical and social approach if necessary.
The evolution of her Astral Self encourages Celes to put trust into its natural defenses. Should someone pierce the Astral Self and reach her, not only will they be assaulted by Gravitational Pressure making fighting difficult, but they will also be forced into a physical confrontation with Celes which is where she is potentially at her deadliest. Her use of the Astral Self allows her to use the Broadsword and Shield with deadly efficiency, assuming a mixed style of blocking and counterattacking when under assault and otherwise keeping up an aggressive offense if allowed to control the pacing of the fight. Celes also uses the arms of the Astral Self to protect the much more vulnerable body.
Upon reaching Bankai during which Celes' Astral Self reaches its stage of completion, the Captain truly presses an aggressive onslaught. Being much more difficult to hit and being surrounded by an extremely bulky construction of her will, Celes will use the length of the broadsword and defensive capabilities of the shield along with her own heightened agility to continue controlling the pace of the fight. Assuming that Celes is not in control of the fight, she will assume a defensive position and wait for an opportunity to lead once more. Gaining the wings of a Tengu, Celes is fully prepared to take advantage of aerial combat in an effort to outmaneuver her opponent given the nimble footing of the Astral Self despite its size.
New Release Phrase: “Walk the Earth, Yunorashi” [Shikai] | “Unfurl your Wings and Fly as a Tengu, Kishin Yunorashi” [Bankai]
New Powers
Overall Ability: Yunorashi is a Zanpakutou with the capability of manifesting itself into an avatar to be guided by Celes. Upon releasing Shikai, a secondary resource is accumulated which Celes needs to manage; Strength of Spirit. The amount that is generated depends on two factors. The first of which is a natural accumulation. Celes generates a static amount of Strength of Spirit every post to be spent on temporary and later, permanent enhancements to the Avatar. Celes may also spend Strength of Spirit to repair the Avatar should it suffer damage. The second and more proactive method is through a reiatsu conversion. Celes can spend her reiatsu to gain Strength of Spirit which she can then spend like normal.
Upon entering Shikai, Celes is capable of summoning forth a ribcage which acts as the foundation for her avatar. This ribcage, while summoned, grants Celes a 360° defense as it manifests around her. From there, Strength of Spirit may be used to make additions to the ribcage. These additions include two arms, a head, and two weapons; a broadsword and a shield. Once these additions have been manifested, Celes may spend points to make these permanent additions to her Avatar. The progression of these stages begins with skeletal. This is the most infantile stage, giving the Avatar the appearance of a skeleton. The second stage is Humanoid. This gives the Avatar musculature and skin, making it appear more human. The third and final stage in Shikai is Armored. This stage shrouds the Avatar in a full set of armor. Both Humanoid and Armored raise the defenses of the Avatar giving it considerable bulk when allowed to evolve.
As the Avatar begins to evolve, it continues to surround Celes as its durability increases. The durability of the Skeletal stage is equal to Celes’ Strength. Humanoid increases this durability by 50%. Armored further increases the durability to 2x Celes’ Strength. Upon entering Bankai and attaining the Complete stage of her Avatar, the durability of the Avatar reaches 3x Celes’ strength. The Avatar clashes with techniques and opponents in a unique way. Physical and Spiritual attacks can gradually deteriorate the Astral Self. Upon clashing, the OS of the attack harms the durability. For example, if Celes has a durability of 1000 and the OS of the attack is 500, the remaining durability is 500. If the technique has a 2 Class Superiority, then it both harms the durability of the Astral Self and pierces it, making Celes susceptible to its effects. Should the Avatar be reduced to a durability of 0, the Avatar reverts to its previous stage. Damage from one stage does not bleed over into a previous stage. Finally, Celes may allow others to enter her avatar freely. Doing so incurs no harm to the ally. Opponents may also force their way into Celes’ Astral Self as long the durability of the Astral Self's body has fallen below 25%. Opponents of a higher class than Celes can always force their way into the Astral Self no matter the durability. If the durability is repaired above 25%, any hostile currently within the Astral Self is forcibly shunted out. Should an opponent make it into Celes’ Avatar, there is one last line of defense. Any hostile of an equal or lower class to Celes will find themselves at the mercy of gravitational pressure as if they are 2 Classes lower than Celes.
Using this Avatar comes with a primary weakness. The Avatar is a representation of Celes’ will; given focus and shaped into a physical form by her. This is extremely taxing and will inevitably result in extreme pain if maintained for an extended duration. Celes can utilize the first instance of Shikai with little risk, suffering no pain from using the Avatar. Once Celes refreshes her Shikai, the pain escalates. Every post thereafter, Celes suffers consistent pain which worsens every four posts. The first instance of pain requires a Pain Tolerance of 1 to withstand. This Pain Tolerance requirement grows every four posts to a maximum of 3. Meeting the Pain Tolerance requirement allows Celes to continue fighting through prolonged exposure threatens to debilitate her if she has sustained wounds. If Celes should ever not meet the Pain Tolerance requirement, she will be writhing in so much pain that her Shikai or Bankai loses its focus and dissipates, effectively ending her release. Having perfected the Avatar in Bankai, the four-post pain escalation increases to 7 posts.
This brings up the topic of Bankai. Celes’ Shikai focuses her will into an Avatar and Bankai sharpens that focus to push her Avatar to new heights. Celes cannot activate Bankai until she has reached the Armored state of her Shikai. Once accomplished, she may activate her Bankai and push her Avatar into a new stage of Evolution. This stage is known as Complete which further enhances the Avatar’s durability, grants it wings for prolonged flight and legs for more versatile movement. This acts as the pinnacle of Celes’ Avatar.

IC Reasoning for Power Change
The Secret Side of Me [Solo Training] - After coming into contact with the Nakkabakki Quincy known as Aldwin, Celes found herself having difficulties calling upon her Shikai and Bankai. After about a week of self-reflection and some depression, Celes sought out the source of her malady. Though as she entered her Inner World and prepared to fight her Inner Hollow, the Hollow revealed himself as Yukito offered to train Celes in exchange for Yunorashi's safety which had created the original disharmony. After a rather vicious spar between the two, Yukito soon revealed that which lied dormant in Celes, aiming to draw it out by brutalizing Yunorashi. Consumed by anger and hatred, Celes manifested her avatar, even impressing the Inner Hollow. Satisfied, he left her to hone this power while offering foreboding hints at the future that awaited both him and Celes.
IC Reasoning for Skills Change
The Price of Honor [JT] - A fateful meeting between Orobas and Celes when the latter as a Vice Captain. During this fight, Celes had to admit that she was afraid. She feared the Akki's cruelty and despised his lack of honor. Throughout the fight that ensued, Celes withstood much of the Akki's vicious Kido, but also persevered through the aura of menace that he had. Overall, Celes displayed impressive willpower in this fight with an unfaltering sense of honor as she protected the as many citizens as she could from both the crossfire and deliberate acts of malice on the part of Orobas.

{Shikai Overall - Earthly Sentinel}
Earthly Sentinel uses Celes’ willpower and using herself as a conduit, focuses it to give it physical form. This results in an Astral Self that protects Celes and grows over the course of combat. Upon utilizing Shikai, Celes receives 10 Strength of Spirit every post. Leftover Strength of Spirit from one post carries over to another post and there is no cap to the amount of the Strength of Spirit that Celes can accumulate. Additionally, Celes can generate Strength of Spirit out of her own reaitsu at a cost of 25 Reiatsu per Strength of Spirit. Strength of Spirit can be used in a number of ways.
Once a post, Celes can spend any amount of Strength of Spirit to restore 4% per Strength of Spirit in durability to her Astral Self, restoring the durability to a part of Celes’ choice. Strength of Spirit spent on restoring durability can be divided among multiple parts of the Astral Self. For example, if Celes spends 4 Strength of Spirit to repair, she can allocate 4 to one part of the Astral self or divide it up among multiple parts such as the arms or head. Strength of Spirit may also be spent to enhance the Astral Self, making temporary additions that can become permanent by use of Ascendant Spirit.
The Astral Self has durability equivalent to Celes’ OS. This durability increases by 1.5x Celes’ OS when Humanoid. The durability finally rises to 2x Celes’ OS while Armored. Each part of the Astral Self which includes the Head, Body, and Arms has its own separate durability. No part of the Astral Self may ever be more than one stage above the Body. If the Body of the Astral Self were to fall to the durability of 0, the Astral Self regresses to its previous stage. For example, Armored would regress to Humanoid.
Celes may allow others to enter her Astral Self freely. Should an opponent make it into Celes’ Astral Self, there is one last line of defense. Any hostile of an equal or lower class to Celes will find themselves at the mercy of gravitational pressure as if they are 2 Classes lower than Celes. Higher-class opponents are not affected by this gravitational pressure.

{Arms of the Astral Self}
For 1 Strength of Spirit, Celes can summon weapons wielded by the Astral Self. These weapons are a broadsword and a shield. The broadsword is 25 ft in length and the shield has a diameter of 12 ft. A weapon can be summoned upon manifesting of an arm or while the Astral Self has one free hand. This broadsword and shield both have an OS and durability equivalent to Celes’ Strength. Both can be destroyed by a 2x OS superiority. Once broken, Celes may spend 1 Strength of Spirit once more to resummon these weapons. As long as the weapons are not broken, Celes may dissipate the weapon from the Astral Self’s hands. When doing so, Celes summons her own copy of the weapon in her hand that acts as her release weapon. She may transfer her copy of the weapon to the Astral Self at will as long as it is not broken. The weapons do not have an upkeep cost.

{Bankai Overall - Heavenly Sentinel}
Heavenly Sentinel is the pinnacle of Celes’ Astral Self which bestows upon her several benefits. Complete Astral Self may only be activated once Celes has reached Rank III of Ascendant Spirit. First and foremost, the durability of Celes’ Astral Self rises to 3x her OS making it the bulkiest stage out of all of her options. Additionally, Celes generates an additional 5 Strength of Spirit for a total of 15 per post to utilize on techniques or restoration of her Astral Self. Unlike the other stages where Celes was limited to the ground, Heavenly Sentinel grants the Astral Self legs as Celes rises into its stomach, making it much more difficult to hit her. The addition of legs increases the speed of the Astral Self by 50%. It is important to note that this increase in speed is only for the purposes of closing distance. It does not for increasing Celes’ reaction speed. This also increases the overall height of the Astral Self to an imposing 40 ft. Heavenly Sentinel also grants the Astral Self wings, allowing it to take to the skies and fly at a speed equal to Celes’ speed which gives it aerial superiority. The wings produced by Heavenly Sentinel have a separate durability of 3x Celes’ OS. If the wings are reduced to 0, Celes’ cannot take flight until she uses 25 Strength of Spirit to restore them. The legs and is considered part of the body’s durability.

{Shikai Techniques}
{Devouring Steel}
Technique Name: Devouring Steel
Technique Description: Devouring Steel allows Celes to utilize the broadsword manifested by her Astral Self to absorb spiritual techniques and empower the blade. If a spiritual technique that Celes is aware of comes into contact with Celes’ shield or her blade, she may use Devouring Steel. If the OS of the technique is equal to or lower than Celes’ OS, the technique that was used becomes nullified Celes has the option to trap its essence for 4 Strength of Spirit, dissipating into the blade of the Astral Self.
Once absorbed, the blade gains a bonus to its OS equal to half of the OS of the absorbed technique for two posts. For example, if Celes’ blade has 1000 OS and the technique she absorbed has an OS of 900, the modified OS of the blade is 1450. In Bankai, the full OS of the absorbed technique is added to the OS of Celes’ blade.
Technique Drawbacks: Despite its capacity to nullify and absorb spiritual techniques, Devouring Steel has several key weaknesses. First and foremost, it can never absorb spiritual techniques that are higher in Class than Celes’ current release Class. Additionally, while nullifying the technique itself has no cost, absorbing the technique costs Strength of Spirit. Additionally, Devouring Steel cannot nullify or absorb techniques that Celes is not keenly aware of. For example, techniques that she cannot sense. Second, an OS superiority will render Devouring Steel useless. Finally, Devouring Steel does not work on physical attacks at all which includes products of physical attacks such as shockwaves.

{Majestic Armour}
Technique Name: Majestic Armour
Technique Description: Majestic Armour allows Celes to effectively grant her allies a lesser copy of her own Astral Self. By spending 2 Strength of Spirit per Stage upon touching an ally they gain their own Astral Self except that it is one Stage lower than Celes’ current stage. For example, if Celes’ own Astral Self is Armored, then Majestic Armour grants a Humanoid Astral Self and costs 4 Strength of Spirit. Majestic Armour mimics the benefits granted Celes’ Astral Self including the head and arms. Bankai allows Majestic Armour to ascend to Armoured Stage. While Celes’ own weapons for her Astral Self are a Sword and Shield, this must not be the case for Majestic Armour. The weapon produced is up to the benefactor and benefits from any applicable weapon skills. For example, a benefactor may choose to manifest a Kanabo. The durability of Majestic Armour is equivalent to Celes’ at that stage, but the weapon produced scales off of the benefactors’ highest OS.
Technique Drawbacks: Majestic Armour has the potential to grant impressive defense to allies, but has several limitations. Due to being one stage lower than Celes’ own Astral Self, Majestic Armour only becomes usable upon reaching the Humanoid stage. While the weapon of a benefactors’ Astral Self may resemble their release weapon, it does not possess any abilities inherent to the release weapon. Celes’ ability to spend Strength of Spirit to restore durability to her Astral Self may not be used for Majestic Armour. If Majestic Armour falls to a durability of 0, the technique ends on the benefactor.

{Transcendant Wings}
Technique Name: Transcendent Wings
Technique Description: Transcendent Wings is the sister technique to Devouring Steel, allowing Celes’ Astral Self to withstand significant punishment. Transcendent Wings also interacts with spiritual and physical techniques, having the potential to break them down and disperse them. By spending 3 Strength of Spirit, Celes can ready her shield as ethereal wings spread out from the back of the Astral Self. These wings are incapable of flight and have a total wingspan of 75 ft, being separate from the wings produced via Bankai. If a spiritual or physical attack comes into contact with Transcendent Wings, its essence is immediately broken down weakening it. The techniques OS is reduced to half of its original effectiveness. If this modified OS were to be lower than Celes’ OS, the technique disperses, its force effectively rendered null and void. This renders Celes and anyone that stood behind Transcendent Wings safe. In Bankai, Transcendent Wings may be used in tandem with Devouring Steel to potentially capture the essence of stronger spiritual techniques.
Technique Drawbacks: Transcendent Wings despite being a formidable defensive wall, has a number of drawbacks. It is rendered completely useless if, after the reduction, the OS of the technique is still higher than Celes’ OS. While Transcendent Wings protects completely from the front, it provides lesser protection from the side and none at all from the back allowing craftier opponents to take advantage of a blindspot. Finally, Transcendent Wings may only be maintained for a maximum of one post and incurs a fatigue equivalent to moving at 600 speed making it an exhausting technique if used consecutively. Additionally, Transcendent Wings can only be used if the Astral Self possesses a shield.

{Ascendant Spirit}
Technique Name: Ascendant Spirit
Technique Description: Ascendant Spirit acts as a way for Celes to permanently upgrade her Astral Self. By spending varying amounts of Strength of Spirit, Celes can permanently grant herself the superior stages of the Astral Self. Once a stage has been unlocked permanently, Celes does not need to spend Strength of Spirit to maintain enhancements of that stage anymore. These permanent enhancements, if destroyed, allow Celes to spend Strength of Spirit equivalent to 1.5x their upkeep cost, rounded down, to restore the enhancement. When restored, the enhancement returns to the current unlocked stage of Ascendant Spirit. If the Astral Self were to regress to a previous stage, Celes can spend Strength of Spirit equal to the most recently unlocked Stage to immediately upgrade back to it. For example, if Astral Self reverts to Skeletal, she can spend # Strength of Spirit to enhance the Astral Self to Humanoid once more. In Bankai, the Astral Self can be restored to the Complete stage. Upgrading Ascendant Spirit lasts until the end of a regular thread such as a PVP/JT. In longer threads such as adventures, Ascendant Spirit resets on a "long rest". The requirements for upgrading or restoring Stages are:
Skeletal: 5
Humanoid: 9
Armored: 13
Complete: 20
Technique Drawbacks: Ascendant Spirit is a powerful way for Celes to retain certain benefits, but it does have several weaknesses. For another rank of Ascendant Spirit to be purchased, Celes must have at least maintained the next stage of enhancements at some point. For example, if Celes is currently using the Skeletal Astral Form, she must first purchase and maintain Humanoid Arms and Head to upgrade to rank II (Humanoid) of Ascendant Spirit. While each enhancement can be maintained individually, all enhancements must have been maintained at the next stage at least once. Additionally, after upgrading Ascendant Spirit, the technique goes on cooldown for two posts before being able to upgrade again. If an enhancement is destroyed, Celes must wait 1 post before being able to restore that enhancement. Celes may not activate Bankai until Rank III of Ascendant Spirit has been purchased.
