Sonadora had always been gifted in the art of studying others. It is her social skills that have allowed her - over the course of her lifetime as an Adjuchas and even now - to secure areas that would typically have been unable to be conquered by her through normal physical means. They granted her the ability to read others and to convince them to join her side for the glory of her penultimate Cambio. Of course, at the time, she was a powerful Adjuchas in her own way, someone that could reduce anything and anyone to something less than herself in the matter of a few minutes if she wanted to do so. Even so, she nevertheless remained non-violent with her brethren, a being who believed herself to be a pacifist who only wanted to unite Hollowkind as one party so as to bring them all forward as a grand force of reckoning against Humankind, the Vandenreich and the Soul Society. This mentality has become even more important now, as the weakness of her Stray body has condemned her to it.
It was not difficult to read through Astrid. As concluded prior to their assault on the construction workers, she may be a strange being who is clearly not a member of Hollowkind, but she is a child at heart. She is a pure thing, an innocent monster guided by her bestial faculties. There is some kind of monstrous anger within her that guides her forward which Sonadora has yet to quite understand thus far, though she nevertheless remained just as naive as any other child. She needed guidance and warmth, commendation and congratulations. That's all. Unsurprisingly, once she was given those things, happiness filled her being, and just like that, a partnership was created. It was perhaps cruel of the Hollow to convince a child to fight by her side in such a way, maybe even a bit heartless, as she was inadvertently leading her to unavoidable danger. However, in the end, she needed her and any other ally more so than ever before, and that's all that mattered.
In any case, once the Hollow was satiated of the Souls that Astrid had brought to her, her attention would be placed away from her new partnership and instead back towards her plan. It was all well and good to celebrate the creation of this aforementioned partnership and the successful clearing of this floor, but their operation was not complete yet; after all, they still needed to head to the upper floors and consume the Humans there. They had no time to waste here amidst the soon-to-be-rotting corpses of the fallen workers, else they face either the Human authorities or the Shinigami. Indeed, they may have kept the use of their spiritual energy to a minimum, but it was doubtful that the Soul Society was not going to answer to these actions of theirs any time soon. After what happened in Fujiyoshida, they are probably still constantly tracking her own spiritual energy all over Japan in this very moment in hopes to find her before any more massacres occur under their watch.
Leaving the one survivor behind to eventually be found later by the authorities, the two creatures would then go towards the steps as Sonadora commanded. The Hollow herself would pass by the corpses unaffected and unbothered by the gore that they showcased. It was not the first time she had seen mangled Human bodies, and this would not be the last time she would see them or create them. The workers could have been more useful to her as part of the Ascended should she have had access to her once-powerful ability now locked in the deepest parts of her soul yet again, though there was no point in making a fuss about it, especially not in her current state. Hell, even if she had access to it now, it would have been futile for her to do so, for she wouldn't even be able to properly manage them without becoming too tired every day. Her spiritual energy reserve was simply that low. One day, she will regain those powers, and once she does, she will be able to form an army of Human slaves once again, however far away that day may be.
Before she could ascend up the stairs, however, Astrid would then call to her, causing her to stop and turn her head towards her. "What is it?" She would ask with a tilt of the head, then would listen to her ally's request attentively. On one hand, she had to admit that it was a relatively good idea. Scouting ahead for any kind of threat is important, as there is no way to tell what is up there. There may only be Humans, but at the same time, there could also be another spiritual threat hiding amongst them. On the other hand, this could lead Astrid to spend a significant amount of spiritual energy which may consequently lead to them being spotted by the Soul Society. She would analyze these two possibilities after a quiet thoughtful hum, studying the results which may occur from them and the chicks that would then be sprouted from Astrid. Well... those chicks were at least small enough. Letting them scout ahead appears to be the most productive choice here. "You can proceed. However, I advise that you do not have them attack any of the Humans just yet. We cannot let any one of them escape."
Once allowed, the chicks would be able to proceed into the open air left by the unfinished walls of the floor in construction so as to be able to scout the floors above. Sonadora would give them all a calm, yet resolute gaze as they proceeded. She was hoping that they would not be found and caught. This operation is actually quite successful so far, and she wanted it to end on a better note than all of the other plans she has executed in the past few months. Awaiting their return and/or the information that Astrid would receive from their scouting, the Hollow would then stand still near the stairs and glance at her ally as she started to change the appearance of her body back to the appearance of the Human woman that she previously possessed. The process was interesting, to say the least. It was a great ability that could be included in many future operations, of course, but something about it was more revealing than meets the eye. The root beast was almost regretful or maybe even frustrated at the sight of the clothing she had discarded. It was a very curious reaction. Hm... She appears to value modesty above all, the foggy creature would theorize. No... Not quite. It is not so much the modesty that she values, but rather the clothing itself. Does she care about her appearance...? Questions for later.
Meanwhile, as she analyzed Astrid, the chicks that had gone outside would be able to analyze the upper floors which had been outfitted with the interior design of what you would expect from such a high-class skyscraper. In total, there were four of them ahead, three of which were typical office spaces like the ones below while the last was more so a smaller, single office for one person that took the entire floor. Fancy. As to be expected, they were mostly full of harmless Humans who most likely would be unable to fight back against either of the creatures. They were office workers, secretaries, and janitors. However, that was the problem: they were "mostly" harmless. Among these Humans, there were three who actually possessed spiritual energy that were located at the very highest floor. Two of them were in front of a door, while the other was behind a desk. They did not possess huge amounts of spiritual energy, but it was significant enough that they would be able to see them.
It was... odd. Very odd.
