Karakura Town was a place where it seemed there was always some form of drama. Whether it be within it be Hollow rampages in its haunted buildings, or battles between powerful individuals of all sorts. Odayakama Senshi came here at times to get a taste and feel for the living world while at the same time taking her mind off of paperwork, as well as to reflect on what she's missed. Things at home could become dull, and at times, even a Captain found interest in leave for their own reasons. She found herself often resting along the rooftop, and at times enjoyed some of the joys below in her gigai.
However, at times, things certainly felt off. She always had the feeling there were things lurking in the shadow and darkness, and it was always those kinds of predators that were the most dubious and to be feared. The redhead wouldn't call herself the greatest warrior, nor would she call herself fearless, or even the most confident. However, one thing she was...Resilient. She's been maimed, sliced, burned, amputated, grinded, and smashed. Yet, like some sort of spiritual cockroach, she refused to die.
In part, that was due to her recklessness, but even still, people couldn't deny that such was outright impressive. She was getting into a more mentally better headspace, and at times like this, she thought of Kaen, and how he must have been doing, and she felt at times selfish that she had pressed her problems onto him. However, at the same time, she needed him at that time. She didn't know anyone else she could really turn to. The redhead realized in her position now, she was a bastion, something that people had to look up to, and she represented Seireitei. That was something that made her perspective change.
Life for her was changing. Drastically, and yet at the same time not much so. Since her captaincy, there would be a change, a coming that would put Senshi to the test from this point in her development. She was beginning to get her priorities straight, and was on a better path to turn her life around, and so far, it was suiting her well. It wasn't as if she was powerless and her word didn't mean much anymore. She could make the changes she wanted to in society if she put her effort, and that went for her life also. After all.
If she wasn't capable of that, she wouldn't be here. She stops, looking about her surroundings, taking it all in with stride. However, little did she know that tonight was going to be anything but a peaceful walk through the city. There was always bound to be conflict and strife wherever she was in the world with her profession, and what's more. It was a devil she briefly knew. The horror. The spider. The grievous general.
It was a cold night. The conditions were wrong for proper snow, but the frigid temperatures froze the nightly precipitation into a hard, and bitter frost across grass and concrete alike. Most on nights like these would be inside with electric heaters or a hot cup of tea. Safe and comfortable in their warm, cozy houses.
But not Col. A pale shadow in the night, passing beneath the luminescent glow of a streetlamp, cloaked in black with glinting rubies for eyes. His breath coalesced in a light mist before him, something that might have startled onlookers to see given Col could no longer be perceived by the eyes of living humans. That life was long behind him, and now, of the child that might have grown into an idealistic youth and paragon of society, there was only this. A wraith in the dark. Twisted and warped beyond all recognition.
Col made no effort to mask his presence right now. His reiatsu, although obtrusively flaring, stuck out like a beacon to any that were spiritually attuned. A hand reached up to run through platinum hair, and a sigh cast out yet more frozen breath before him. "My my. It has been a long time..." He murmured softly, though aloud. Col remembered those that have eluded him. He know their scent. The feel of their power. No matter how it may have changed, how the individual had grown and developed there is that element at the core that is so completely unique to them. It could manifest in the most subtle, but uncontrollable of ways, like a particular way that a close friend laughed, or some common phrase that one unknowingly slipped into during conversation. And Col had grown quite talented at picking that little detail out in individuals. Despite the chill, the temperature of the air seemed to drop even further in the presence of this arrancar. The cruel rubies affixed themselves on the young woman on the rooftop.
"I didn't expect to be having an old friend for dinner~ How are you my dear?"

When confronted by this old feeling, this old Reiatsu that washed over her, for some reason, it seemed to radiate death. That inching crawling feeling of a thread being washed over her. "Hello there." She responds, and she turns to see him, his face, knowing that despite the charm and mannerism that there was a much darker type of monster that lingered within its depths. She proceeds to look ahead, and she couldn't help but feel her lips curl upwards at the level of misfortune she had to meet him again.
"I suppose I need to thank you. For being so kind to me." Something not many Shinigami might say to an Arrancar, sarcastically or not. "The fact you spared me, and let me live. To grow into what I am." To let her be haunted by the memories of dead comrades that day. "To let me develop into who I am." To let her suffer so far to reach this pinnacle. Looking upon him, she seemed to have no insecurity in herself then and there.
"What would the course be?...I hope you know that I'm a vegetarian." She proceeds to rest in place for just a moment, keeping an eye on him, anticipating she already knew the answer. However, within a few moments, she pauses. "If it's the people of the World of the Living. You already know where I stand to that." She rests along the center of the street, gazing upon him, and with it, she begins to exude her own Reiatsu back towards him.
"And I've grown a lot stronger since the last time." The snow crunches and shifts underneath the force of their two spirits, their wills, and with it, she finds herself not wanting to battle in this location, if need be. However, she also understands that there's little option. Opening her palm, she releases a spiritual butterfly. "Inform them to make a time freeze in this location. I'm dealing with a high priority danger target." She was more than happy to indulge her foe, and see how far she's come.
A twisted smirk emerged from Col's lips. "Why you're very welcome." He courteously replied. "It pleases me to have spared the life of such a well mannered young woman." Col took focus of Senshi's reiatsu. Oh yes... Yes, it was strong indeed. At last... Worthy prey. No, not just worthy prey. Perfect prey. Power that would crush most foes. Power that must allow her to cut her way through countless enemies like carving a cake. And yet.... Insufficient power to kill Col. Power feeble enough that he could easily overpower and devour her. Wait... No... Memories were slipping back to him. He'd recognized Senshi but many of the details had been lost and they were coming back.
Now I remember... The girl with the twisting sword. A blade that concentrated her reiatsu to such an extent that even with her middling power she had managed to threaten him. Now it was even greater. Troublesome. Not that Col's recollection, and the compounding irritation showed on his face, or entered his mannerisms. "Oh, I see my pet. Not one for the sweeter meats? A pity then that you might not be able to handle the main course." He sighed in mock disappointment. But as Senshi gave Col a warning, the Arrancar smiled politely. "Yes. I feel it. It's tremendous. Like that of a monster." He complimented. His sword slid from its scabbard at his hip, spiritual steel shining coldly in the moonlit.
"But as you well know, I am no timid mouse myself. You are very brave, little Shinigami. I wonder if that courage will see you through the night." He prodded as he began to walk up an invisible staircase on air ground towards Senshi, one step at a time, slowly rising up to Senshi's level. "Or if it will even last the night? Do you need a moment to compose yourself?" He pressed, a sly, predatory glimmer in his eyes, as he prodded and needled at Senshi's confidence.

Col. A monstrous Arrancar that some referred to as The Spider. The Grievous General. However, it was difficult to get much information on him. All she knew for certain was that he was a monster. A monster with a form that could kill Shinigami in the dozens. "I never imagined you as a timid mouse. You're what eats them." That said, as he mentioned a moment to compose herself, she remained still for a moment. She needed to consider the best course of action, especially seeing she knew that this Arrancar before her was incredibly dangerous, and in more ways than one.
However, she didn't break eye contact with his form. "Considerate. You were so kind to show me your true form last time without even needing to use it against me. So. I suppose I'll show you that same courtesy. Arrancar." Rising upwards, she draws her Zanpakutou from its incredibly long scabbard. To which, she then asks, "You remember it. Don't you? Its name?" A rhetorical question of course as she begins to build up spiritual power.
Dragging her hand along its flat edge, she begins to amass spiritual energy into it, making it glow a hot red, as the wind picks up in such strength that the falling snow would drift in the opposite direction, before then beginning to buffet, and pick up harder, and stronger. "This blade of mine. It is the most powerful Zanpakutou in Seireitei in terms of destructive power. Though...it's a blade that's ill fitted for me." She announces, somewhat truthfully as she begins to rise to his level.
She seemed to wait for his answer, but she seems to pause for a moment. slowly de-escalating her spiritual power, as if to lead him on, only to lower her blade to the side. She had come to realize that there was a time and place for everything and that now was not the time to show off her trump cards. Not until she reached that state of desperation where it was deeply needed. Instead, she proceeds to lightly lift her left hand and as the sleeve drops down to her elbow, she seemed contemplative.
Her Zanpakutou was a powerful tool, it was true, but it wasn't something she was going to be able to rely on all the time. Not as a crutch. Instead, she looks all about herself for her surroundings the potential advantages she could have, and ultimately decides to enter a defensive stance, blade raises, supported with both hands, as she has her form small and condensed. Hopefully, the Arrancar didn't take offense. After all. He seemed to be the kind of Arrancar that liked to build a bit of an appetite.
Col's polite smile hid the malicious intent in the arrancar's heart and mind. "Quite so my dear." He replied in response to her retort regarding mice. "But a hunter will tire of catching rabbits. He longs for a more thrilling chase. He longs for the ferocity of the wolf, the might of the bear, the majesty of lions. These are the beasts the hunter would pick his trophies from." Senshi recited details of their last battle, and Col's brow twitched ever so slightly. Senshi's comment about his true nature piercing his armor of culture, only for a split second, before his composure was restored. "I'm afraid I do not my dear. While I'm well aware that each Zanpakuto is quite special to the Shinigami, as my own blade is to me, I'm afraid I never quite got to committing your swords' name to memory. My apologies for my rudeness." Col replied, with his now infamous false sincerity. Or perhaps it wasn't entirely false. With Col it sometimes became difficult to distinguish his manners from his front. Perhaps he had forced himself to fight the monster inside for so long, that his cultured and sophisticated moments were indeed as genuine as his savage ones?
"In any case my dear, that is quite a boast. I hope you shall not disappoint me then." He commented. Col's sword was at his waist, blade angled downwards across the front of his leg in a loose grip. A non-threatening pose, even as the arrancar neared Senshi, until at last he was standing on even elevation to the woman. Mere feet away from Senshi. A half-step would bring the arrancar into the reach of Shonin Joka. Col then leaned forwards slightly, such that even a simple lean forwards from Senshi would be enough. As if the arrancar had no fear of her Zanpakuto at all, despite her boast, and despite his acknowledgement of her strength.
"What manner of prey will you be though I wonder." Col hissed softly, his eyes piercing Senshi for even the slightest of weaknesses or vulnerabilities.

He was a predator after all. So best ward him off with something worth scaring about. Building up her energy, bit by bit, she could feel the weight intensify around her, twist, and creak, as if something was rousing inside of her. She knew how dangerous he was, but he didn't know how much more dangerous she herself had become. It was that time. "Ban-kai!" Her blade begins to grow a bright shade of crimson, bathing its blade as if it were from a molten forge, bathed in blood.
Its blade begins to shrink down into a proper katana, the red bath shattering apart, as it settles into a sleek blade. Her base blade was too long, and bulky, imperfect for a person such as herself. Her Shikai was small, and imperfect, underperforming. Her Bankai was that pinnacle. That peak of the warrior she should and ought to be. The crimson ribbon that seemed to linger at its edge, she looked upon her blade, and then him.
"Shonin Joka. Shimazu." With this released, Senshi vanishes in a Shunpo, attempting to appear at his level, to swing her blade upon him, to attempt to make him draw that blade and block her. To show the strength of her conviction and the power of the blade she wielded at her side. She looked him in the eye, attempting to come to face the true monster that lied behind this facade.
Bankai. The pinnacle of Shinigami combat. The child had come a long way indeed. Her sword shrank, but Col didn't care about that. He'd crossed blades with Senshi before. He knew her Zanpakuto's ability. She could extend and resculpt her blade in mid-battle, allowing her to manipulate the size and form of her weapon to suit the situation. Curving around parries and chasing after an evasion. On top of that, she could amplify her cutting strength, such that even though Col's power currently surpassed her by a comfortable amount, his Hierro would not be able to withstand a blow when she bolstered her strength.
And no doubt, should she wound him, she could reshape her blade as before to magnify the damage tenfold. And that had only been her Shikai. Yes, it was a dangerous weapon at close range. At close range, that is. Three steps back and Col expected he'd be able to defend against any trick she might pull. Ah, but that was her Shikai. No doubt her Bankai is more formidable. He reminded himself. Nonetheless a statement needed to be made. A statement that he did not fear her Bankai. That her Bankai was as futile against Col as every other tool she and her Seireitei might bring to bear against him.
Senshi's point-blank Shunpo was surprising, but unnecessary, given how close Col had willingly come to her, Col pointed his left hand at her shoulder. "Hado #1. Sho." An invisible bolt of force would fly from Col's arm, aimed to collide with the bicep of Senshi's nearest arm at point blank range, intended to throw the woman off balance and intercept her swing. Col didn't have to engage with the blade directly. If he stopped Senshi's arm, he would stop the swing. Of course, Senshi might try to extend and transform her blade to continue an attack at Col anyways. He was wary of that.
Col stepped off to the opposite direction he'd sent her blade and granted the woman's wish, Tarentella flashing out from its scabbard, and Col cut at Senshi with a horizontal, one handed cut, his sword starting in from her open side. If Senshi wanted to parry the attack, she'd have to work hard to regain her balance and bring her weapon back in time. She could always try stumbling out of the reach of the blade, and if she did so, she would probably avoid a serious wound.
But Col didn't think she would do that. Her Shunpo was designed to send the same message as Col's refusal to step back. I'm not afraid of you. Their swords and kido were only pleasantries right now. A medium through which the real battle was fought. A battle of wills. Could either of them force the other to back down?
Truth be told, Col didn't care much for that. He didn't expect to bring Senshi down so simply or easily, and if her skill had increased as much as she claimed, doubted he could best her at this range without releasing his Zanpakuto. His refusal to step away was transient, and if Senshi could endure this for a time longer, he would likely back off to a more comfortable range. That was the question. Could Senshi herself find a solution to Col's attack without stepping away from the arrancar?

Senshi was of course very accustomed to the arts of Kido, fighting against it, using it, and of course fighting against those that could counter its uses. Including those of physical superiority, the monsters that dominated the battles with their sheer strength. Senshi however was not so used to the idea of an Arrancar using its powers. Yet, as he declares his power, and shunts her bicep with his force, to teeter her, and to knock her to a side, she uses solid airground, and presses her weight onto her right side, entering a pseudo crouch.
However, as he steps onto her opposite side, where her defense would be weak, he would find she swiftly raises her arm, his flashing blade slamming instead into a brittle, swiftly made orange shield. "Bakudo #8: Seki." Upon slamming this shield, it would repulse his sword arm, shattering into many smaller pieces, before the redheaded reaper retaliates. Swiftly, she takes that brief moment to wordlessly form that crimson red ball within her hand.
Their distances so close together. To slam it straight into his torso. Shakkaho. Assuming she was successful, the searing hot ball of flame would explode in a violent rupture, looking to send him blasting away in a crimson red inferno. Senshi was well adverse to how tough an Arrancar's Hierro could be, but she was also well aware that a Hierro did not protect the skin from being burnt. Nor, the subsequent explosion that would result from it. With her hopeful space gained, she rises onto her two feet, whipping her blade and entering back into stance.
The ball however was unlikely to kill him. Not against a monster so strong. Not looking to give the Arrancar more time to recover, she begins to make her advance, rapidly dashing towards him, blade held in hand, her other hand now free, and clenched tightly as she began to chant. Chant for the spider to hear. “Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron!"
This was a rare opportunity. A rare one indeed! It had been too long since... No. Had Col ever engaged in a kido duel before? He wasn't sure he had. All the more reason this would be interesting then! Senshi countered his sword strike with Seki, just as he'd countered hers with Sho. Col's arm was thrown away, barely holding onto his blade while the arrancar staggered back two paces from the force of Senshi's kido. Not to be outdone, the arrancar quickly collected himself and bore back towards the Shinigami woman, but not before Senshi had an opening to follow up with her own kido. Her Shakkahou blasted at Col, but was intercepted by a spiraling yellow barrier. "Bakudo #39. Enkosen." Col chimed, as Senshi's Shakkahou collided with his shield and exploded, destroying both, but leaving Col unharmed. Senshi was bearing back again, and ready to continue it seemed.
A delighted flash crossed Col's eyes. "My this is quite fun!" He exclaimed as Senshi began her incantation, and his eyes narrowed. He knew that spell, and knew that Senshi was amplifying her power with an incantation. At point blank range that kido spell couldn't be avoided and it couldn't be blocked. The sensible thing to do was back away. But sensibilities were overridden by Col's ego and pride. He would not back down. Not to this. Senshi was bearing a high level kido spell against him. Perhaps the most powerful one in her arsenal. This was the tipping point of their psychological battle in Col's mind. If he backed down from this, he believed it would etch an image of hope in Senshi's mind. The idea that she might actually be able to win. The idea that she had an attack that Col feared. It mattered not if it was her best move. It was a weapon that she could use to control Col.
Col refused to allow that. He could not avoid that spell at close range, nor could he block it. Senshi was almost finished her incantation. He couldn't stop her casting the spell at full power. But there was one thing he could do. Col smiled at Senshi. A wicked smile. His free hand, that had summoned the Enkosen to block her Shakkakou raised again, two fingers pointed at her. "Hado #90. Kurohitsugi." Timed correctly, although Senshi would be able to cast her own Kurohitsugi with the incantation if she chose to meet Col's challenge head on, Col's would cast at the same time, engulfing Senshi in a black box, at the same time that Col was.
After that... Well... Senshi would likely know what would happen better than Col. She was the kido genius after-all. She'd know the lacerating blades of the Black Coffin that would spear her from all directions. Col did not like pain. He did not wish to endure the pain of Senshi's own Black Coffin. There was a part of Col that hoped very much that Senshi would back down from his own kido spell when she recognized what he was about to do. But he was ready to endure her spell. As he believed-- this was the tipping point. A major determining moment in their duel. One that Col refused to lose.
Of course, if Senshi abandoned her kido and moved to get away it was possible she would avoid Col's Black Coffin, albeit at the cost of making it possible for Col to avoid hers. This was a test of character. Would Senshi call or fold? Col's crimson eyes pierced daggers as he took everything in. Teeth quietly clenched behind closed lips, in preparation of the blows to come.

There was a slight level of surprise of course. That the Arrancar before her, skilled in Kido as he was would ever be able to cast a Kido of such a caliber. Such power. Such strength. Such ferocity. However, as she finished her incantation, she indeed did face him head on. As she called out its name. "Hado #90: Kurohitsugi." As Black Boxes formed around both the spider and the redhead, Senshi knew of course, as the Kido master that she was that when the spell Kurohitsugi was cast at close range, there was almost no way to avoid such an attack. Its dark shining blades came from all sides.
In such case, usually, there was only one such way to deal with the box. Senshi swings her blade outwards in a wide sweeping arc. Then straight overhead. Before slowly then resting it by her side. Before the box would erupt into dozens, if not hundreds of tiny shards, before fading away into nothingness. For her blade had in the flash of an eye had extended and had become so sharp , not even the blades of the Arrancar's Kurohitsugi could stand to stand against it.
Senshi had indeed become far more brazen. It was true. However. It was only because Senshi had grown significantly in power. Power that she had lacked when she was younger, more inexperienced. "Your Kido has strength. But in terms of finesse and delivery. You're still second rate." Next to Captain Kyomei, she was potentially second to none when it came to the casting of Kido in the Seireitei. She had come to train the one who would eventually take the mantle of captain of the Kido research and development squad.
Against that, who was this Arrancar to face her? "If I recall. The last time we met, you showed me your power. That Ressurecion. The one that gave you multiple arms and blades. A Carapace that was so hard that not even Shonin Joka could have harmed it at the time. I'll confess. I feared you then. Though. Now. I've realized I've no reason to. That I've gained the potential for something. Something I didn't think possible."
"The potential. To surpass you." Whipping her blade out to her side, and entering back into stance, she seemed to challenge the monstrous spider in tide. Her form rooted and firm as she took a deep breath. Her breathing was steady and firm. Now. This. This was the moment. She felt heavy with a form of exhaustion as her Reiatsu left her, and yet, she felt fulfilled, and more powerful and fulfilled than ever before. She could face him.
-1000 Reiatsu [RS buff to Shonin Joka Shimazu, making it 2400 OS.] -600 Reiatsu [Kurohitsugi RS Strength: 1120] -300 Eden
Name:Eden Rank:Bankai Abillity:This abillity allows her katana to change shape rapidly allowing it to zigzag and also split while extending. The blade still retains its solid strength and sharpness. Imagine a tree branching out with the various branches splitting further and further. This may be used in conjunction with other abilities such as Needle Shrapnel. Extension length, Density, and Durability all depend on the current stats of the blade, but can also get more dangerous the more Reiatsu it absorbs.
Weakness:It is very costly to use this technique and rather risky as well to split the blade too much. It would leave the user open to attack if the "branches" move too far away from the user. Cost:300/per post
Col's vision was subsumed by darkness as Senshi's Kurohitsugi enveloped him. He was prepared for this. Mentally at any rate. A rattling hiss emitted from between Col's teeth as Senshi's blades of darkness pierced and shredded his flesh. His reiatsu burned like a bonfire, and his Hierro held against Senshi's assault, but blood was certainly drawn and deep gashes etched across Col's body, such that there was a considerable amount of blood lost at the conclusion of the attack. However. Even with the full incantation, Senshi's Kurohitsugi's power was lesser than Col's and the Arrancar managed to resist the worst of the attack. Wounded though he was, unless his grip were to slip because of the blood, it was flesh wounds only that would not hamper his performance immediately.
Besides, Senshi must have certainly suffered far more severe injuries--
This time Col couldn't mask the surprise in his eyes as he saw that Senshi had used her Zanpakuto to create a suit of armor against his own Kurohitsugi. The former Escudo felt rage and humiliation boil up within him. That was not right. The Shinigami girl spoke to him. Spoke of their previous encounter. Spoke as if she could surpass him. Spoke as if they were equals. Col's teeth gnashed in the face of this. How dare she.
"Then I suppose I shall give you another taste of despair." Col retaliated. "It appears I was too soft in our first meeting." He sprang back for a moment and his blade flashed up. "Dance! Tarentella!" He shrieked in fury, as his reiatsu erupted about him. His form twisted and convulsed, as his extra limbs ripped their way free of his torso. As his bone structure changed and fused together. As an exoskeleton pushed its way through his skin, and his mask fragment became whole-- filled with a dozen squirming eyes.
As his searing reiatsu cleared away, Col stood resolute. Blood still seeping from the joints of his exoskeleton. Mouth set in a firm line. Col did not like this feeling. As if he had to prove his superiority over this... this... this pathetic little girl.
"I'm going to enjoy watching you die." He rattled. "But I think I will snap that toy of yours before your eyes first." One of Col's six limbs raised up and a black sphere formed at its tip. This was no joke. Cero Obscuras. Compared to this technique, Col's previous Kurohitsugi may as well have been a light breeze. And although he'd sprang away from Senshi, Col was still at a relatively short range. This would be devastating if it connected. And then it erupted from Col's fingertip. A colossal black void, that swallowed up the world in its wake, and Senshi was firmly in its sights.

Dance. Tarantella. The words filled her ears as she listened to the monstrosity almost proudly speak forth. Speak with a disdain for her, as he began his metamorphosis. Yet, for the first time, in quite possibly a long time, Senshi felt no fear when facing this old foe. Instead, she felt a sense of responsibility. "No." When confronted with Col raising his fingertip, the dark surge of energy rushing to his fingertips, she didn't need energy sensory to know how devastating such an attack was.
After all, she'd seen Cero like it before. Yes. Indeed. They were still very close together. Which was why there was little point in attempting to dodge an attack like this one, of which was so massive in scale, and borderline point blank. There was only one answer. To take it head on. Senshi proceeded to thrust outward with her left arm, and as she did, Shonin Joka's tip rapidly extended outwards, slamming into, and colliding into the black orb sphere as it finished its condensed form.
Her blade's tip burst forth and attempted to wrap itself, almost if in a net, or tight ball like form around the Cero Obscuras. Why? To prematurely trigger it, and force the energy to disperse across a wider and flatter surface as opposed to straight down at Senshi. One might wonder...Why? Surely, to utilize high speed movement, she could have perhaps dodged out of the way, or perhaps moved far away enough upwards to get out of its path?
It was because she was a Shinigami. Because she had a duty. Because her duty was to protect the world of the living, as much as it was to protect Seireitei. That, and because it might have proved to be the only way to do much harm to Col Arana. The spider. After all, the explosion that would result would spread now also outwards towards him, as Senshi's blade ever extended, pushing her down towards the earth, even before the explosion rang forth. Shonin Joka was powerful yes, but not invincible.
At the aftermath of the raging explosion, Senshi was more than likely sent barreling into the ground, pummeling into the snow as a massive explosion of darkness filled the air. However, the blanketed cushion was appreciated as opposed to bare asphalt. A good chunk of Shonin Joka was broken by the explosion, without a doubt. However, as Senshi exited her roll out from the snow, she forced herself to rise, Shonin Joka simply extending its tip to seemingly reform itself. That was fine and well.
However, the question for how Col would take such an explosion? That was more curious. She was running out of steam. However, if she succeeded in doing more harm to the Arrancar, she was sure that he'd grow concerned. After all, he launched that attack as if to prove the differences in their strengths, their power. He likely never imagined the possibility of it being used against him. Did he?
Senshi answered Col's Cero Obscuras with her Shonin Joka. An excellent play. But the power gap was still slightly too great to completely cause Col's blast to rebound. A black explosion of power erupted from Senshi's bladed shield and many of Shonin Joka's blades were shattered, cracked, broken and blasted to dust by the attack. Col's Cero Obscuras was after-all a hair more powerful than Senshi's Shonin Joka, but not so much so as to invalidate the defense. But it still damaged her weapon in doing so-- not a defense that could be used indefinitely. The explosion rocked back against Col, the arrancar lifting a pair of arms to shield his face just in time to absorb the brunt of the rebounded attack. Still, the arrancar was cast backwards, taloned limbs digging into the air ground as if to acquire some form of leverage to halt his repulsion, but only serving to maintain his posture and footing as he was thrown away.
There was visible damage to Col's exoskeleton as well. Broken fragments of armored carapace clattered to the ground like ceramic shards. Col's breathing was heavy. "My... that... startled me." He hissed at Senshi. With his adept energy sensory he could sense that Senshi's reiatsu was depleting quickly. It was costing her every ounce of her strength to keep up this blistering offensive, and he doubted she could maintain it for more than one or two more exchanges. "But that must have taken most of what you had. How many more times can you play that card I wonder?" Col asked. His hand flashed up. "Bakudo #75, Gochutekkan!" He commanded. The clinking of chains was the only warning as to what happened next. That and Senshi's own knowledge of that particular kido of course. Five massive iron columns descended from the sky to crush Senshi and pin her beneath them, and Col wasn't done. A basic kido wasn't enough, he intended to drain Senshi's resources. Leech whatever strength she had left out of her, and finish her when she had spent the last of herself.
While Col cast his kido with one hand, two of his additional arms sprayed out lines of webbing to either side of Senshi's position to try and snare her if she went to dodge left or right without the use of a step technique. Up was out of the question. The only place she had to try and dodge was forwards-- right towards Col. And the Arrancar was ready for her with that as well, his lowest set of arms shooting strands of spider webs directly at her from the front. A step technique seemed the only way Senshi could get out of this situation, but with her limited reiatsu reserves could she afford to do that?
