Another Hectic Day

[Teresa]

Standing at the top of one of the larger buildings that had been given a place in the financial district of Karakura Town was the Hollow that’d forced those of the human world to deal with her existence. She’d come to this small city almost a couple months ago and in that time had devoured what felt like more than three dozen different entities. Although to the humans below it would be more like a dozen and a half that randomly went missing or died in some sort of unsolvable accident. Either way though this was the town Teresa lived in knowing that it proved the most difficult.

The adversaries were constantly coming here to kill her yet none of them had managed to finish her off yet. Only two of them had been more powerful. Both of them had been physically above Teresa at a time when she still had no real understanding of what she could do. Now though that was all different. She’d evolved not once, but twice and this was the time when she could feel a difference. She was stronger now, able to do things that she couldn’t before. Knowing far more about what it meant to be a Hollow and what she had to accomplish in order to sit upon the throne of power.

The middle of the day with the sun high in the sky brightening up all the lives of the humans below. A common enough setting that when she had been human was a gift something to smile at while now it was ignored. The humans had become so busy, miserable in the constant stream of life they didn’t even appreciate something as essential as sunlight. A simple thought on those below her that flew from her head as fast as it had arrived. All she knew was she could eat whenever she wanted and it was starting to look like a good time for lunch.

She wasn’t sure what it was that she felt in the area but something had definitely just happened. Sensing energy was something that she still didn’t really get although it was obvious to her now that she was able to do it. It was like a new sense that suddenly came out of nowhere and she hadn’t yet figured out how to really focus on it. Almost like someone with bad vision suddenly having great sight yet not knowing how to really utilize it. Teresa just knew that she was picking up multiple things in the area and one of them was MASSIVE.

[Impossible]

Impo was in a bit of a rut. He's been in one for a long while, and hasn't been able to shake it off. Sitting on one of the less frequented benches, the Failure was sitting and thinking about his life up until now. He was still a Failure, in spite of all his efforts to revert himself back into something less... explosive. He actually had a breakthrough recently, managing to reduce his power and stabilize himself a bit more, but his skin was still bright as neon, and still changed in tandem with his emotional state. The man scowled as he glared down at his hand, glowing a shade of angry red.

He was more than a little annoyed at that fact, and felt he had every right to be. This body was still a massive hinderance on his life. He was always on guard, and it was stressing him out. He couldn't risk something random hitting him in just the wrong way and killing him from out of nowhere. He didn't want to risk innocent people getting caught in the crossfire, and had nearly decided to live life as a hermit in the mountains. He tried that for awhile, but couldn't stand the isolation. It was nice being away from people every once and while, but isolation was just so... boring.

He was still distancing himself from the average person, sitting here by his lonesome in this park, but it was still better than freezing his ass off in the Himalayas. There was more to life than just safety, and he wasn't willing to spend it cold and alone, miserable at the top of the world. He could have gone anywhere, after that, but there was something about Karakura that dragged him back here. Maybe it was his old job at UE, who welcomed him back with open arms, or maybe it was the fact that so much weird crap happened here that the locals were almost used to his brand of strangeness.

Whatever the case, he was here once more, staring off into space. He was still on guard, despite his appearance to the contrary. Impo had the presence of mind to be able to be aware of his surroundings and think at the same time. He knew everything that was happening around him within a few hundred feet, from the bugs marching around in the dirt, to the squirrels scurrying about in the trees, to even the birds gliding through the air like they owned the very skies themselves. Then again, Impo wasn't about to do anything about the animals who minded their own business, so he didn't much care what they claimed or not.

Speaking of things that haven't been bothering him, he hasn't come across any hollows in a long time either. Maybe that was because of his power, or maybe it was because they could instinctually tell they wouldn't gain anything from trying to eat him, other than a pointless fight. He tried not to kill hollows, the thought of taking life leaving a sour taste in his mouth. The memories always flooded his mind of when he killed... He violently shoved those thoughts to the back of his mind. He looked down at his hands once again. They turned a cloudy grey. He sighed, exasperated. Now his mood was ruined.

[Teresa]

Moving over from the rooftop was her first choice heading towards the energy that she could tell to be larger than everything else in the area. It took her about three minutes to reach the rooftop of a building right across the street of what looked to be a park. The trees were enough in number that Teresa couldn’t see the entity inside which meant she’d have to get closer. A risk yet it seemed she wasn’t the only one that could feel this entity. A handful of other signatures were in the area and each of them was at a level that Teresa would enjoy devouring them although she wasn’t certain they weren’t Hollows.

Moving from the rooftop down into the park Teresa made her way over towards the entity. She was the closest by far allowing her to take her time and just approach calmly. The thought of one of these other entities getting to this massive one first and devouring it was aggravating. What she saw though was something strange a male with skin that changed colors! This guy was something she’d never seen before and yet she was sensing he was more powerful than anyone she’d come across to this point.

Although there was about twenty feet between them now Teresa could feel the immense energy constantly coming off this man. So intense that it almost kept her from noticing that the other sources of energy she felt were all coming in close as well. Whether they be Hollows like her or not they seemed to all be coming for this man as well. Teresa though for some reason wasn’t all that certain eating this man was a good idea. She hasn’t found anything she couldn’t as a Hollow, but his energy told her she’d need to be smart about it and have luck on her side otherwise she wouldn’t be the one winning.
