As Devar began bringing Arcadus his last course of a already substantial feast,A meat pie the chef ushered him was a suitable finishing dish 2 what had been a 3 hour meal by himself a pristine meat pie, simple in construction, but salt and pepper and ground beef with thin flaky pie crust certainly did round out multiple roasts, and racks of ribs.
Ground chuck likely from a coal miner in the Appalachians thighs, paired with blood wine of an aboriginal person, some one of a tribe that lived within the mortal earth’s Arctic circle. The wine was practically freezing, an almost menthol cold pervaded it, the last embers of its soul flickering in the aftertaste. He really did need to find a better source for blood wine than simply abducting different creatures and bleeding them out in the kitchen. There was no grace, no art, nor did it produce much.
The duo would have made for a rough and tumble pairing, likely slaving away for their entire lives before passing away after a meager.. What did mortals call it. That thing they did after living a life of hourly wages. Retirement, that was it, a meager quarter of their lives spent in a lonely and quiet house. Though these two would have likely been retired before a life of labor caught up to them, with the house being deathly silent after one passed, only to be followed by the burst of sound as one followed a year after.
That suffering, paired with the simple dish allowed it to flow forward all the more, grease and meat of the meat lingering in the starchy filling, wine meating it and dancing like separated spouses at a long party. In any case, finishing the dish, Arcaduss stood, gesturing that he was very pleased with Devar’s work, and that he would be retiring to his chambers for the night.
Slipping into his flowing velvet robe, a bright sky blue, Arcadus lounged in a love seat, bringing his laptop across his knees. If anything of interest kept him up from sleep, he’d likely stay awake for several more hours. That is, until he laid his eyes upon the highlights of an occultist tabloid, easy sources of potential occult activity, though not without the risk of being mortal nonsense. However, the words lined up. Some kind of invisible force was causing destruction and disappearing humans, often preceded by some kind of speech or voice luring them away.
Certainly worth investigating, if only to add to his hollow kennels. Sliding into a black and red leather jacket and pants, Arcadus stepped through his Garganta and stepped out into this southern continent, sun glaring down on him like an angry wasp. He had a hollow to find, either to take in, or destroy, but that decision was very much up to it.

Licking his wounds, Akando slinks away from the remaining carnage, avoiding attracting anymore attention as it's the best time for him to escape. Sadly he has no way to return back to the weird place where sand never ends, so sticking to the shadows is the best option for now. Hearing the last howl from the reman Gillian signals Akando's moment to book it out of the area at full speed. Thankfully there wasn't much environmental damage around the area he and the scorpion Hollow battled, only the area where the Gillians fought is in any kind of ruin. As there wasn't much environmental damage nearby it was easy for him to duck into a nearby alley and rush out of there.
Managing to get a good few blocks away, Akando finally started to feel safe, or as safe as a Hollow could feel with Shinigami in the general area. Hunger taken over all he could do was search for a lone human, one that preferably wouldn't make much of a fuss. Standing in a dark alley, it has only gotten darker as dusk is nearing, he spots a good meal. "Help, Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!" This is all the Human would hear, thus his prey would unwittingly walk towards the alley Akando currently waits. Once the poor human was close enough Akando would strike before she could make a noise, severing the head cleanly off her body. Within moments he would already be devouring her remains, but before he could finish her Soul would appear in front of him.
With the Soul now standing there Akando lunges forward, slashing with his claws and quickly taking her throat out ensuring she would die and remain silent. With drool dripping down his maw, Akando starts eating his again dead meal. It didn't take long for him to finish up, but the moment he finished swallowing the last bit his hunger returned more potent then ever. Now that his meal is done he continues moving along, searching vigorously for new prey.
After a bit of travel Akando spots something, a humanoid in a very strange outfit just walking the streets as if searching for something. The next action Akando takes might have been a mistake, however, there is a high chance the same fate would have meet him if he didn't do what he's about to do. With a very musical voice Akando tries to get the beings attention, "Shot through the heart and your to blame, darling you give love, a bad name."
The scene before him really fascinated him. He had seen this.. dog creature of some sort mimic a voice, and then devour a human after reciting some kind of bait line. They had fallen, and were helpless. It clicked for Arcadus. It was preying on human compassion rather than any kind of spiritual failing. This he could work with. He needed someone like this under him, cold, unfeeling, willing to exploit even taboo weaknesses of thier opponent.
He then saw it turn towards him, and confusingly, sang. It had a wonderful mimicry of whatever singer it was, singing lines from some kind of mortal love song. As for what to do about it, he stood still. Looking at it, moving slightly in order to see if it was watching him, moving his hand side to side if it could take its eyes off of him. Convinced that it was staring at him, he was going to see if it would stay. Moving into an auto shop next to him, he took the chains off of trailer, 30 feet of steel chain. Hopefully strong enough. Trotting out, he stood in the middle of the road, chain hanging off his hands like a limp snake.
Arcadus's hand began to glow, end of the chain heating ot a white hot, before being welded into a larger loop, through which the rest of the chain was fed through, creating a make shift leash. Arcadus helt the looped chain in front of him, shaking it as if to entice the hollow. With no responce, he decided to make this simple. Moving at 320 speed, he tried to loop the chain around the hollow, pulling back in an attempt to hold it still. He really hoped this thing didn't have something to cut through heirro. As well, he really did not want to hurt this thing. Leashing it wouldn't endear it to him, but hurting it wouldn't be able to be fixed.
Pulling back, if hes caught it, he pulls the chain taut, mostly to see if it would run away, and better yet, cut through the chain. This thing had so much potential as a fraccion. With as much raw force, no malice, no kindness, as if he was stating the absolute truth of the universe, Arcadus said "Good Dog"h All of his aura was focused on this, dominating the will of this hollow and forcing its submission. He was was master, it was servant. That was the fact of the matter, and no room for discussion. "You, will tell me what you are called" He needed to know names, both for reinforcement, but as well to reference if it had a history anywhere.
This thing, if it was intelligent, was a great potential ally and weapon. He really did want to keep this thing around for further use. Being outnumbered was never fun, and this might be the first of many.. "Personal" Fraccion. That cold be something worth investing in. Pieces, not just pawns, on the board that kept other peices in line. That idea intrigued him, and despite the matter at hand, distracted him. He needed to focus, but he felt that there was such a casual manner to this, he could afford himself some leeway considering the aura of this thing told him this was not a creature he had to worry about, that it posed no real threat. His main concern was what it would do if it ran away.

Suffice it to say, the being Akando was attempting to lure into a sense of ease, seemed to notice him. This of course threw him off as up to this point there hasn't been anybody who could spot him without Akando wanting to be found. To make things stranger the being turns into a nearby building, curious of whatever this man was doing Akando quietly slinks closer to the open door. Poking his head around the corner he could only tilt his head in wonder as the man began grabbing this long thick metal rope, a rope that the man causes his hand to glow so that he could morph the object into a different shape.
The next few moments would be nothing but a blur to Akando, for what this man did next sent Akando into an animalistic panic. The man finished doing whatever he was doing with that strange rope, he then would turn to face Akando. With one swift movement the being would already be slipping that rope thing around Akando's neck; it happened so fast Akando didn't have the ability to react which was foreign for the Hollow. Pulling, scratching and biting at Arcadus, the Hollow put up as much resistance as he could manage, however, this mattered little as nothing he did got through the tough skin of his captor.
Akando couldn't calm down, doing everything in his power to escape. He was stopped dead in his tracks though, as while he was fighting, the man pulled the strange rope taught thus forcing him to end whatever resistance he was throwing at the man. With no more fight Akando could only wait and see what fate has in store for him, and frankly by what this guy does next, fate is throwing a wicked curve ball. With pure and simplistic charisma, the man freezes the Hollow in place by saying "Good Dog", what really causes fate to take a strange turn is what he says next.
"You, will tell me what you are called", with how powerful this being is and the pure charisma he oozes there's only one response the Hollow could give, "A-kan-do". The raspy voice the man would here leave the vocal cords of the Hollow was actually Akando's real voice. Raspy and scratchy thanks to how long it's been since he has last used his voice, it doesn't help he went through the drastic change of becoming a Hollow. At this point Akando would give in to his new master, laying down in front of him. Even his insatiable hunger couldn't overcome the charismatic potency and power that was exuding from this man.
The creature was seemingly transfixed by his stare, seeming to lock eyes to the best of its ability. It had also stopped struggling and scraping against the chain, which both heartened Arcadus because it wasn't going to slice through and run, but as well it meant the awful sounds of it rattling against it's leash. It was really getting on his nerves, but he was happy the chain had cooled as well. It wasn't going to be going to be burning it, or anything else around this very dry area.
Most interestingly of all, it spoke when he commanded it to. Like a saw going through wet bones, its voice was as sound that made the cartilage in Arcadus's ears fold and burn. It was a horrific sound, but one he'd have to find a way to bear if he was going to go forward with this creature as his pet. "A-Kan-Do" It spoke. All as well, he needed to stop calling it the creature. Now with Akando on a leash, he knew he had at least some control of the situation. Maybe some praise was in order, but what to praise it on? Obedience? Maybe, it had reacted at least pretty well. Maybe... Turning to look behind him, he saw it. The destruction created, apparently, in Akando's wake.
"Did you do all this?" Gesturing to the wreckage behind him, the bloody smears, the wrecked streets and buildings. Repeating himself "Did you do all this? I'm impressed Akando. For someone so young in being a hollow, you know how to cause some havoc." pulling at the now slack leash, not so much as to actually pull on Akando's neck, but instead using the weight of the chain to guide him towards him, he smiled, a warm, sunbeam of a smile. "Good Boy" There was a genuine happiness, kindness, and even a note of genuine compassion, even if it was a rattling like a nickel in a tin can. Reaching out his hand to pet him, he stopped. He sensed something.
Looking around, he sensed that awful feeling. Shinigami. Well, judging by its strength, a weaker one. Certainly not expecting him, likely here on clean up duty to handle the mess made. Well, at least the hollow would have something more substantive to eat now. Standing up, hair catching the sun, golden halo forming around him. His smiled wider, a toothy grin of malicious anticipation. "Akando, are you hungry, because I see a meal right over there." Pointing out to the robed figure descending as if down invisible steps in the air, looking around at the destruction, sword hanging in their hand at his side. With a flick of his wrist, a cero blasted the sword away, imbedding itself in the wall, cracking.
The shinigami, caught off guard, looked to where the Cero had come from, they weren't told there were any active hollows that could shoot cero, nor did they think they would be actually fighting anyone on this mission, they were told this was clean up and recovery. They just had to men and black this whole deal and call it a day. Now his Zanpakuto was.. No, NO.. Out of his hands in front of something like that was bad, but cracking in that wall. This was the worst, and it got even worse as he looked to who he had to fight bare handed. No, he had to run, get out of here, flee. He was not fighting an Espada today, or hopefully ever. Least of all one that seemed to have leashed a hollow like a dog.
"Alright Akando, show me what you can do." Running ahead, Arcadus had the entire slack of the chain out, giving more than enough room for Akando to catch up, and to feed. This was the begining of a beautiful thing, a man and his hunting monster. Arcadus began gathering the reiatsu for another cero, incase it decided that flash stepping was going to be an option. He was going to cut his legs off if that was the case. Oh this was going to be fun. He'd get to study a unique hollow's behavior, Akando would get a better meal than just humans, and they both would get some much needed entertainment. This was shaping up to be a really fun day.

It seemed this man was happy with the response Akando gave, happy enough that when he turned around to see the destruction left behind by the Gillians, he even praised Akando for that. It's to bad Akando still isn't very good at understanding language, the moment he became a base Hollow messed with his mind, plus the insatiable hunger just pushes him into a primal mindset. Although he doesn't understand exactly what the man is saying, Akando can still get the feeling from the mans words that he had some sort of praise aimed at the Wendigo currently leashed by him.
Around this time a lone Shinigami appears, completely unaware of the absolute trouble he has just stumbled into, in fact this is the last time he will ever stumble into trouble. Arcadus seemed to notice the poor fellow far before Akando. With a quick flick of the wrist the Arrancar let go of a simple yet potent Cero that easily blasted the Shinigami's sword out of his hand and into a wall. A simple question was asked right before the Cero was used, but of course Akando neither understood, nor listened to the words leaving the mans lips. The only thing that mattered to Akando at this time was a potential meal that now had less ways of protecting itself.
"Alright Akando, show me what you can do." With those words Arcadus ran ahead letting as much slack in the leash as possible as to allow Akando to keep up. Not wanting to let a potential meal get away, Akando rushes after the Arrancar. If Arcadus is keeping an eye on Akando, at he time of them rushing towards the lone Shinigami, he would notice the the Hollow would disappear in front of his eye's as shadows engulf him, however, thanks to his ES the Arrancar would still be able to see the Wendigo's reiatsu following along.
With the shadows surrounding him, Akando would attempt to sneak his way around the other side of the Shinigami, on the opposite side of where Arcadus is standing. If the Shinigami doesn't have Senses or ES of 200 to notice Akando, he would find himself suddenly standing in between two separate opponents as Akando would reappear from the Shadows. If the Shinigami decided to run on the other hand he would have to wait for Akando to stop any Step Techniques.
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Hollow
Technique Element: Shadow
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):
The shadows become friends to some and enemies to others but those with an unusual bond with the shadows gain special benefits from it. Wendigo like many other creatures classified as Cryptids tend to prefer the company of shadows or the blanket of night, they are not afraid of being in the light however and have no repercussions from it. The biggest difference however is that only a few of said Cryptids gain the ability to manipulate the shadows and Wendigo is one of them.
Controlling the shadows allow him to cause them to cover him, thus allowing him to blend in nearly perfectly into the surroundings. Those with less than 150 Senses or ES won’t be able to notice him. For each rank in the stealth skill the Senses or ES required to notice him raises by 50 up to a maximum of 350 (4 ranks in Stealth).
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Channeling reiatsu into any shadow Akando is currently touching (including his own) the shadow will begin to surround him and shroud him.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)
This Technique costs 50 Reiatsu to use but that is not the only downside, for each rank in Anti-Stealth the Senses and ES required to notice Akando is 50 less (Maximum 200 less Senses or ES required at rank 4). He must uncloak in order to attack.

Reserved? (Yes/No) (Can others use your technique, or just your character?): Yes
It didn't seem like the creature understood all of his words. He seemed to be too focused on the immediate sensations that plagued hollows. Hunger, desire and desperation. that and the general lack of knowledge that plagued young hollows. It was a shame, but it also made them good tools and servants, or food. There was something cute about them, like blind hungry kittens. of course, they were always full of interesting and unique abilities. Of course, with a meal in front them, it seems like Akando was going to show him his.
Disappearing in a cloak of shadow and smoke, Akando vanished from view, as if stepping between beams of light. There as a clean, machineline movement fo the thiers like a true predator, maybe not in body, but in mindset. There was the mind of a pure hunter there under skin and bone that made up the monster, and as it stalked toward the shinigami, Arcadus's smiled. The terror on the reaper's face, as one hollow had simply disappeared towards him, and with that, the Shinigami had begun to run, running for all he was worth. Arcadus laughed a dark and horrific thing, filled with evil and malice, sharp and oily, as if taking amusement in the pain of a small child or the fall of an elderly person, and began striding towards him.
This was what mortals called a "Sunday stroll", peaceful, enjoyable, and certianly keeping pace with the shinigami's sprint. They had both begun to pass, but Arcadus was gaining despite his leisure. With a few quick strides, Arcadus was able to close the distance, becoming bored of the peace in what was supposed to be a meal for his new.. The words escaped him. Pet seemed too demeaning. Servant wasn't quite right either. Hound. He was his hound, his companion on hunts. That, he felt, was the right word. But matters at hand. The panicked shinigami in front of him. He'd have to throw him back, but first, some fun.
Forming his index and middle fingers together, Arcadus stabs into the Shinigami's neck with his left hand, he dug into the spirit's neck, fingers wriggling until, there, he found it. Tugging out of the gash, Arcadus pulled out the cardioid, running it between his two fingers. "What's this, little shinigami? Is this one of your arteries in my fingers? It has such a warm, rubbery feeling, so much of your blood running through it. So much of, you. Now play nice, and be eaten like the meal you are. Or I'll have to split this rubbery little cord, and you'll die broken and torn to shreds, instead of eaten."
The Shinigami aimed a kick at his stomach, though, bouncing off of his musculature and hierro, only served to injure himself. Witht hat act of defiancy, he was tossed in front of the reiatsu Arcadus recognized as Akando. Though, not before snapping that leg off at the knee, the howling wails of the reaper falling deaf on the empty town, and the two souls around to hear them. holding the leg in his hand, he gestured to Akando. "Eat, my hound. We have many more hunts to go on in the future, but for now, this meal should suffice."

Akando would watch from his shadow as Arcadus simply strolls up to the Shinigami faster than the Shinigami could run away. The strength between this lone swordsmen and the Tercera Espada was immeasurable, in fact the Shingami could do nothing to stop the monster that now held his Carotid Artery with his fingers. Looking on in horror the Shinigami attempts one last ditch effort by trying to kick the Arrancar's stomach. As one would expect the weak attack did nothing but bounce off of the muscles Arcadus has. Punishing the Shinigami, Arcadus simply breaks the leg that was used to kick him, easily snapped it right at the knee gaining a loud howl of pain from the sword less Swordsmen.
It was at this moment the Shinigami was tossed right in front of Akando, the Hollow looks down at the suffering Soul Reaper, drool beginning to fall onto the Reapers face. At this time the shadows would slide off of Akando causing him to reaper, clearly hungry, in back of the Shinigami. Arcadus would then gesture to Akando and tell him to eat, not that he fully understood the order, but he fully got the message. The animalistic side taking over Akando would shoot his head down with his mouth wide open, clamping into the Soul Reapers neck. The only sounds that could possibly escape this dying Reapers mouth would be gurgles as the bone would begin to break under the pressure of the bite.
Akando would not take too long to finish the job and snap the neck of the no longer suffering Shinigami, once the kicking stopped the Hollow would begin tearing into his meal. The body wouldn't last long as Akando would devour the lifeless Soul Reaper, in fact it almost didn't even seem like he was chewing much. The hunger faded slightly as the food slid down his throat and into his stomach. Sadly no matter how much he eats, the second food stops entering his mouth and traveling to his stomach that hunger would come back full force. After finishing the meal that was graciously given to him, Akando would sit and look at Arcadus, waiting to see what his new master wanted to do.
Arcadus, still holding the leg of the shinigami, watched as his new hound shrugged off their robe of shadows. The boney beast began to rib and shred the shinigami, who, despite its struggles, did not flee or run, under the cold iron stare of Arcadus, occasional strikes with his own severed leg certainly encouraging him to sit still. As for the leg and its meat, Arcadus had taken to chewing and gnawing on it, stripping flesh and tendons from the clean white bone, before gnawing and grinding at the bone.
"While you can't understand me my hound, I hope you catch my meanings. You have great potential, and I think you are both destined for greatness at my guidance, and that you present a new path for me. One of gathering strong individuals under me, and working together for our own mutual benefit. I hope you can come with me, as we step forward into our new futures." As Arcadus and Akando both finished their feedings, Arcadus brought forward the same maw of teeth that brought him here, and opened it, revealing his luxurious mansion palace. "If you would" Gesturing inwards.
Inside, marble floors and gold inlay gave way to great glass views of Hueco Mundo, and with Atlas, another Arrancar, gesturing to the two of them, showing Akando to the room made up for him. Not unlike the human world, but instead, with a comfortable bedding, sprawling out in the corner, as well as a swath of wood furniture seemingly designed, at least of anthropoids, for lounging and resting on, a good fit for a quadreped Hollow like him. As well, sitting in the middle, was a leg roast, of a particularly large human. "In exchange for the leg I stole from you" Arcadus smiled.
