Thread Title: The Only Exception Participants: Tsukuyomi Kawada v. Camila Adaronde World: Human World Death Setting: Permanent Injuries Enabled Rating: R Location: Karakura Town, just south of the shopping district; densely-populated civilian area right outside of the marketplace. Midday. Special Conditions: N/A. Circumstances: Spending her day traversing through Karakura's various shops, Camila is about to head home for the day when she's brought upon the third Vice Captain she's encountered as of late. Conflict ensues.
Over the last year, Karakura town has quickly grown to bore the young Shinigami. Everything has been the same for the last year. No new shops, no changes in the workers; nothing. Hell, even the press from the Gotei had died out as of late; after Ludwig returned, she hadn't seen much of anyone coming after her. While yeah, there was certainly a benefit to most thinking she'd been slain by one of the strongest captains in the Gotei, there was a level of disappointment behind it. Being seen as dead left her with very little options; she didn't like the idea of not being hunted. There wasn't anything fun about that. She enjoyed her life better when she was constantly in a skirmish with some lower-ranked Reaper that she could tear into as she willed.
Now, though? Shit was boring. She didn't have anything to do. Sure, she could've caused a scene, maybe even taken a life or two, but what good would that've done? Pissed some people off? Scare a bunch more? There wasn't anything worth the time down that path. Though, doing something wasn't above her, even if it didn't necessarily have to result in the death of a bunch of people. Thankfully, having a rather advanced spiritual prowess allowed her to do as she saw fit with that. Exerting herself over anything and everything within a few hundred feet around her, Camila forced every person straight to the ground almost as though they'd been pulled there via gravity itself.
Sighing as she stretched, the girl allowed her spiritual pressure to flare around her. Surely someone was going to come to the call? Surely someone was going to actually answer her blatant aggressive nature toward life itself, and hopefully it was some Shinigami she could continue to beat into. After talking with Kaen and Celes as of late, her interests had been almost mixed up; she was actually considering realigning with Soul Society. Right now? She needed something to sway her away; to show her that they frankly weren't worth allying with. Something, anything would've sufficed. Even someone supposedly "honorbound" that was looking to bring her down. Sure, she had Celes for that, but she wanted someone she hadn't been attached to in the past. She hoped someone was going to arrive soon.
Quickly growing impatient, Camila drew her blade, and pointed the tip against some random human that seemed to be walking alongside her before she forced them down to the ground. Slowly pulling her blade up into the air, Camila dropped her arm, and allowed it to fall through the man's back with little hesitation from either of them; after all, he hadn't been able to move, let alone even see her to begin with; how was he going to fight back?

Tsukuyomi walked through the Senkaimon gate that connected Soul Society to the Human World onto the roof of a clothing shop located in Karakura Town. This town was so active in Hollow attacks and appearance that Tsukuyomi had been allowed to come for the day even though it wasn't the job of his Division. Over the last few months Hollow activity which was already abnormally high for this town compared to the rest of the human world, well the activity had gone through the roof. It wasn’t his job to investigate these kinds of things, not anymore at least. Still it didn’t sit right with him and his Grandfather felt the same leaving no choice to Tsukuyomi.
Although he had only just arrived in Karakura Town, Tsukuyomi felt that surveying the area that he had arrived in would be best. Despite the decision that he began to enact right away he couldn’t help the out he felt in his gut. This was the first time he’d been back to the human world in several months. He’d only just recovered after over a week in the intensive care unit of Division Four. Plunging himself back into work and training the moment he was cleared to leave. His Grandfather intensified his training more than tenfold when he learned how easily the weapon of the Kawada was bested by a filthy Arrancar.
That defeat though wasn’t why Tsukuyomi felt his negative pit. The last time he’d been in the human world he’d lost control and caused widespread destruction. He couldn’t allow that to happen again. Even if no one died the risk to others and his life was too great. Not only could he never use his true strength willfully, he couldn’t risk calling on it ever. The only time that damned thing seemed to lose was against that Arrancar , an event that Tsukuyomi in some part wished had been his undoing. An end to the curse of his existence.
Some time past which was filled up with Tsukuyomi jumped from rooftop to rooftop surveying the area in the sky and the streets below while constantly listening to what was happening around the area. Not only that, but Tsukuyomi had realized that due to his inability to sense reiatsu he had to search for the presence of spiritual individuals by their aura and not their reiatsu. So far though he hadn't been able to pick up on anything. So much for that though as he felt the sensation of the air change as he reached the next building. Running over to the edge of the building Tsukuyomi looks down and sees the humans on the street on the ground.
Almost as if only realizing it once he saw others reacting in the way Tsukuyomi feels the gravitational pressure of someone close by pushing down on his body. Thankfully though the pressure was being provided by someone Tsukuyomi could tell was similar to strength. Scanning the street with his eyes it only took a moment for him to locate the suspect. Female, short dark hair, zanpakuto. Vanishing by executing Shunpo, Tsukuyomi appears in front of the individual grabbing her wrist preventing her from executing the human beneath her.
“Adaronde Camila, seems Captain of the Thirteenth isn’t as thorough as everyone believes.”
As her arm was grabbed before its descent, Camila quickly turned her head to face the man that now held her wrist in an attempt to stop her from doing what she did best. If Tsukuyomi took the time to look at her directly, he'd be met with a look of nothing but pure, unchecked aggression. Though, she didn't bother to move her arm for the time being. Instead, she'd keep watching the Shinigami that held onto her, and eventually decided to speak. "Well, well, well," she said softly, evidently not wanting to strain her voice, "looks like someone's finally come. Seems as though news of my descent has made it through Soul Society? That's certainly pleasant to hear."
Taking the time to shift about her spiritual prowess as a wave of reiatsu washed over her body, Camila smiled at the person that held a rather firm grip around her wrist. She'd need to do something about that for the time being, else this wasn't going to be a very enjoyable situation for her to be in. "Drain them of their essence and consume it all, Gouge de Sang." As she finished speaking, Camila's own Zanpakuto seemed to almost melt, dripping through her fingers and onto the person below her, and into the ground. With a snap of her fingers, the droplets that had touched the human beneath her immediately reshaped and sharpened into various crystalline spikes, piercing through them in numerous spots before dissolving into the ground.
From her back, what could only be described as a wing burst from her. The wing itself raged like it was a mix of both flame and blood, taking on the same color and consistencies of the latter but moving as though it were the former. As it raged, Camila continued to stare into Tsukuyomi's eyes. "Should you return in once identifiable piece, do me a favor and let everyone know that yeah; Ludwig didn't do a very good job cleaning up the mess he left." Holding her open hand into the air beside her, Camila created a sheathed katana to rest plainly in her grip. If Tsukuyomi was still holding onto her at this point, she'd use as much strength as she could to jab the pommel into his waist.
Whether or not he was still holding onto her at this point wasn't a major concern of hers. She could take care of that here shortly. She was, however, interested in who exactly he was. "So," she spoke, "you've certainly gotten me interested; who exactly are you? I can't say that I've seen you around the Gotei during my time, so surely you must be new, yeah? Though, that idea seems to fall apart considering you know who I am. Doesn't seem very fair, does it? Care to share?" At this point, she was doing what she could in order to make some sort of small-talk with the man. Whether that was to distract him or genuinely get to know him, not even Camila knew for the time being. She'd have to wait to see just what he was about before making that decision.
{Overall Ability} Upon releasing, Camila’s blade begins to lust for blood. With every time it is “sated”, the bloodlust then grows stronger, and empowers her. Every open wound that Camila leaves on her target strengthens her release techniques, and allows her to use certain release techniques, as described in each technique. The boost to these techniques is marked by “Blood Counters”. For every slash left on the target able to draw blood, she gains a Blood Counter. These counters are spent after using her techniques, if she should desire to do so. Some of her techniques require no reiatsu, but do cost blood counters to use. Upon entering Shikai, Camila will start in this release with a certain amount of Blood Counters corresponding to how much Reiatsu she has remaining. For every 10% of her Reiatsu pool she has left unspent, Camila will gain 1 Blood Counter during the initial release. For example, if she had 1000 maximum Reiatsu while Sealed, if she spends nothing before releasing, Camila will enter Shikai with 10 Blood Counters at her disposal. If she only has 590 out of the original 1000 maximum Reiatsu, Camila will enter Shikai with only 5 Blood Counters, because, rounded down, 590 is equal to 50% of her remaining Reiatsu pool. The Blood Counters gained through releasing her Shikai are once per thread, unless a significant rest period is taken. If she were to be forced out of Shikai, or the duration of Shikai were to end naturally, she does not gain any additional Blood Counters, and instead starts with what she had remaining when Shikai ended. At the end of every post, Camila passively gains one Blood Counter.
Upon entering her Bankai, her ability to gain Blood Counters is further increased. Similarly to her Shikai, upon entering Bankai, Camila gains Blood Counters corresponding to her remaining Reiatsu pool, compared to her maximum pool. Though, this effect gets stronger upon entering Bankai. Instead of being based off of every 10% of her remaining Reiatsu, it is instead based off of every 5% of her remaining Reiatsu. 1000/1000 will give her 20 additional Counters, and 590/1000 will give her 10 additional Counters due to rounding down. This is still percentage based, and still rounded down all the time. Though, a few changes to this mechanic are made.
For Camila to enter Bankai with 20 Blood Counters, she needs to have a full 10 Blood Counters in Shikai, as well as at least 50% of her remaining Reiatsu pool available. She can still only gain a maximum of 10 Blood Counters upon entering her Bankai. Similar to Shikai, the extra Blood Counters gained from entering Bankai are once per post, unless a significant rest period is taken. Each wound left on the target now grants 2 Blood Counters, instead of one. Additionally, she can now gain Blood Counters through herself, granted she leaves a wound on herself, and sacrifices 150 Reiatsu. From this, she can gain 1 blood counter.
She can only gain a maximum of 5 Blood Counters per post through this way. Open wounds left by the opponent do count as wounds she can use for Blood Counters on herself. Once a wound is used for a Blood Counter, it cannot be reused, meaning she needs to open another wound to create another Blood Counter. At the end of every post, Camila passively gains two Blood Counters.

Tsukuyomi wasn’t the sort of individual to enforce his presence by physical strength, acknowledging his lack of exceptional strength was the main reason for this yet at the moment it was all that he could think of. He wanted to keep the civilian that was currently being forced to the ground like all the others around from being stabbed to death. He wasn’t entirely sure why she was exerting her spiritual pressure to force all the average individuals to the ground, nor why she would choose to just kill one randomly. All the same though he’d stop it if he could.
Tsukuyomi met her gaze seeing the intense anger that was seeping out. Recognizing her as one of the Shinigami that had gone missing awhile back. One that hadn’t just seemingly disappeared or been defeated by enemies like so many, but one that had apparently gone traitor. One that Captain of the Thirteenth had killed yet that was obviously false. Tsukuyomi had to keep a mental note to investigate the report that Captain Ludwig had made. “So you harm the powerless in order to attract someone to finish off what your former Captain couldn’t? Pathetic.”
Tsukuyomi was ready to draw Unum from behind his back when he felt a shift in the aura of Camila. A shiver crawled up Tsukuyomi’s spine acting similar to a warning signal that some animals experience. He didn’t have to wait as reiatsu from Camila began to become visible. Whatever she was planning was risky so Tsukuyomi released his grip and put some distance between them. In the moment that followed up he found out exactly what she was planning as she called out the name of her zanpakuto. Placing his right hand on the katana of his left hip. “Descend From The Abyss Onto The Battlefield, Tsukuyomi no Mikoto.”
The katana transforms from average looking into a curved crescent blade of radiating silver with a chain from the bottom of the hilt that wraps around Tsukuyomi’s right arm dozens of times covering from the bottom of his forearm to just under his shoulder. What Tsukuyomi sees though from Camila isn’t a typical zanpakuto release, having what looks to be a wing sprout from her back formed from blood. The zanpakuto she had been holding had dissolved with the only clue to what her ability might be being that she formed some kind of crystal for a moment.
“Oh come on Tsuki you can’t use her! She’s not going to be enough, you know that.”
“Hon please be calm, I can’t have you burning down the entire town.”
“Tsukuyomi focus, you can’t drop your guard. We know little about her. Now let’s finish this as fast as possible.”
“Agreed, guide me Mikoto.”
Tsukuyomi’s stern, apathetic gaze met the anger fueled one form Camila as she began to spout off once again. “I won’t have to say anything once I bring your body back to Soul Society. Your Captain was too soft on a former subordinate. Time to correct his mistake.” Tsukuyomi got his answer as to what Camila’s zanpakuto may be able to accomplish as she forms a katana in her hand. Camila begins speaking once more asking about who Tsukuyomi happens to be. The Vice Captain would offer no response; the only information given to her would be the badge on his left arm signifying him as the Vice Captain of the Eleventh.
Although he didn’t respond to what Camila was asking, Tsukuyomi didn’t just stand there doing nothing, instead swinging Mikoto forward in a horizontal manner casting out two pure white orbs towards Camila. The white orbs roughly the size of basketballs rushes Camila at a speed of 500. Tsukuyomi positioned the orbs to slam into both her arms. Tsukuyomi stayed standing while three other of the white orbs rotated around him.
Shikai: 7/7
Remaining Reiatsu: 5500/6000 Shikai: -300 New Moon: -150
“So you harm the powerless in order to attract someone to finish off what your former Captain couldn’t? Pathetic.” Camila simply smiled as she heard Tsukuyomi's words. "Well, it seems that it worked, didn't it? You being here now only goes on to prove my point with that, doesn't it?" With that said, Camila followed through and released her Bankai right from the get-go; a habit she'd been getting quite used to doing while she had the ability to do so. That surplus of power she'd been given from Albin during her own release had only grown to fuel her emotions even further as she felt bits and pieces of his will seep into her words and actions. She detested the feeling of slowly losing control, but for the time being, it was a necessary sacrifice.
As she finished her own release, she quickly took note of Tsukuyomi's following. Seemed as though this was going to be an interesting fight; she'd led with Bankai, and yet he decided against matching her? Or, better yet, perhaps he was just incapable of doing so? She couldn't help but grin at the thought; this was going to be an interesting fight. As he finished speaking, Camila drew her blade, and pumped her own reiatsu through her arms. She was ready for combat. As she spoke, and got a response from the Vice Captain, she kept up that same devilish grin. “I won’t have to say anything once I bring your body back to Soul Society. Your Captain was too soft on a former subordinate. Time to correct his mistake.”
"Tch, someone's cocky," she scoffed, before asking about just who he was. Taking in the lack of response, she quickly picked up on the badge he wore. Seems he held a position of standing within the Gotei. Oh, this was going to be fun. Pointing her blade directly at Tsukuyomi, Camila smirked as two orbs made haste toward her. While they were certainly quicker than she would've liked to have to deal with, Camila forced her body to separate into a plethora of bats as both orbs came close to making contact, separating to protect the girl from the damage they might've dealt. As the bats separated, they quickly closed in on the Shinigami going on the offensive, moving twenty feet forward at 800 speed in order to enter melee range with the Shinigami.
As the bats began to pile together to reform the girl as quickly as they'd flown over, the newly-created Camila placed her hands by her side and drew her now-sheathed katana in an attempt to slash at Tsukuyomi, Iaijutsu style. From that strike, Camila prepared to drain the man of some of his own vitality, should her strike actually land against him. She was going to bleed him dry if she could help it, and wasn't going to take any other sort of response from the man. "Interesting little attack you had there," she said, "I'd love to see just what you can do! Don't you dare even think about holding back for a second, you hear me?!"
{Reiatsu Pool & Blood Counters}Reiatsu Pool: 3,425/9,000 -675 for Combat Cutback activation. -500 for Bloodweapons generation, refunded if attack did not land.
Blood Counters: 27 -5 for Scatter. +2 for strike via Overall Ability, lost if attack did not land. +1 for strike via Bloodweapons, lost if attack did not land. +5 for strike via Bloodweapons bonus, lost if attack did not land. +2 for passive generation.
{Scatter}This technique is more of a “counter” in a sense. Camila spreads her physical form to twenty bats, each containing a twentieth of her reiatsu. These bats take a physical form, and can be attacked. Activating this technique costs 1 Blood Counter minimum. These bats can fly anywhere in a 2 feet radius per Blood Counter. Every Extra Blood Counter spent for this technique increases the range of the technique by an additional 2 feet. This technique has no reiatsu cost. The bats spread apart from Camila's physical form at a speed of 600, and move at Camila's normal speed to their destination(s). Since this technique is a counter, it can only be activated in response to an attack, whether it be physical or reiatsu. It cannot be activated any other time. In order to get anywhere, more than one Blood Counter is likely going to need to be spent. Because each Bat is made up of one twentieth of her Reiatsu, if a Bat is hit by an attack and effectively killed, Camila loses one twentieth of her Reiatsu for every bat killed. If more than 5 bats are killed, Camila loses a limb, and begins to bleed as if it was cut off when she reforms. Limb loss is prioritized with arms first, then legs. Only one limb has the potential to be lost per usage of Bat Scatter. This wound can be healed using Hypermetabolism with 15 Blood Counters, however. Even if Camila has minimal limbs left, as well as Reiatsu, the bats will always separate into 20 separate bats, giving ample targets for the opponent. While in Bankai, the range of this technique is increased to 4 feet per blood counter, and the speed of the bats are set to a static 800 for separation and movement.
{Bloodweapons}For 150 reiatsu, Camila takes the time to shape her reiatsu into whatever melee or ranged weapon she'd like for the time. This weapon takes on a deep red appearance, much like that of blood, and has a durability equal to her Spiritual Pressure. These weapons use Camila's Spiritual Pressure in order to deal damage. At any point, Camila can change the form of this weapon for 100 reiatsu. While she has this weapon created, any attack Camila makes with this weapon is able to generate an additional Blood Counter. Ranged attacks with these weapons travel at a speed equal to her Spiritual Pressure, but cost 100 reiatsu each and every time they're made. When these weapons come in contact with either a living being or someone's release weapon, Camila is able to spend any amount of reiatsu in order to gain an equivalent number of Blood Counters, with each Blood Counter costing 200 reiatsu. In Bankai, this cost is reduced to 100 reiatsu per Counter, and the durability of these weapons are increased to double her Spiritual Pressure.
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Anyone with 300+ SpPr
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Affects: Persons with high spiritual pressure are known for their large reiatsu pools, but they also tend to be known for their weaker reiatsu strength, which means they have a ton of reiatsu, but not that much to actually use it on. This techniques entire purpose is to take that sheer volume of reiatsu and turn it into a viable, dangerous weapon.
The user builds up a pool of reiatsu internally, increasing the internal pressure, before channeling it towards a set of limbs, such as the hands or feet, discharging it as a weapon. By doing this the user can harness their reiatsu into physical striking power, allowing them to match a physically stronger opponent blow for blow, or possibly even beat them. Upon initial use the user pays 75 reiatsu per 100 strength, maxing out at their spiritual pressure, but afterwards the per post upkeep drops to 25 per 100. The amount of force generated can be changed once per post, going down merely drops the upkeep, but going up, the user must pay the initial upkeep as well as an additional 75 reiatsu for every 100 strength they add to the technique.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): Building up internal reiatsu before focusing it on a set of limbs such as hand hands or feet (or other applicable appendage like a tail). Before mastery of this technique only a single limb, such as one hand or foot, may be selected at a given moment, after master is obtained both may be used at once.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc): Besides a fairly large initial cost and a moderate per post upkeep this technique only has one major drawback; reiatsu burns. When using this technique the user is forcing a large amount of reiatsu to be funneled through a relatively small area, so extended use can be dangerous. 1st degree burns begin to form after about 3 posts, 2nd degree after 5, 3rd after 7, and finally after 9 posts the chosen limb becomes borderline useless and the technique can no longer be used in that area. Healing, specifically of the burns, will reset the timer of this technique.

Tsukuyomi wasn’t the sort to let someone get the last word over on him, it went against his style. “All it proves is that you're the sort to hang around those beneath you in order to make yourself seem bigger. If you were strong enough you wouldn’t have to threaten the weak to draw attention. The strong seek out the strong. Guess you just fell through the cracks.” Over the next few moments nothing major happened between them speaking to one another. This was a slow start, one that Tsukuyomi almost never partook in yet he couldn’t risk rushing in when it seemed like he was facing off against a Bankai.
Sending out the New Moons towards Camila was more a test of what she could do in order to gather information than actually attempting to cause damage against her. Thankfully that’s exactly what happened. Camila bursting apart into numerous bats was something that Tsukuyomi hadn’t and wouldn’t have been expecting as defense. Twirling Mikoto downwards the New Moons cease movement immediately. The bats coming towards him Tsukuyomi swings Mikoto upwards sending out another New Moon through the horde of sky puppies.
Once the New Moon was sent out Tsukuyomi shifted his grip again and pulled back, now holding Mikoto forward once again. The bats converging in front of him begin to form the figure of Camila. Tsukuyomi witnessing her reformation holds Mikoto up in display of defense against the katana coming his way. Until he takes a step backwards and allows himself to seemingly fall backwards into a roll in order to avoid the attack of the traitor. While he rolls though, Tsukuyomi takes care to tap his fingers from index to ring finger down the side of Mikoto’s hilt.
Afterwards now in his right knee up from the roll Tsukuyomi hits the side of Mikoto’s blade with his left hand. In the moment that follows Camila would find herself being pulled slightly to the right. More specifically towards an orb that was now to her right. Tsukuyomi had rolled backwards out from the center of the orbs that circled around him where Camila was now directly in front. The moon pulling Camila to it cracked leaking out red liquid as the white surface turned pitch black. Camila if she turned to investigate what was pulling her would see the orb now looked as if it were smiling in a Cheshire manner with blood leaking from the eyes and smile.
Attacking the Bad Moon was the first thing Tsukuyomi expected from Camila so in order to prevent it Tsukuyomi begins moving Mikoto gently from side to side causing the other two moons, both still pure white to move in on Camila. The intent was to unleash a constant onslaught of brutal slams from both moons. Hitting her and then dashing away out of range from her katana only to rush in again. If she swings on the Bad Moon a white would be there to slam into her forearm knocking her win off course. Unable to pull herself more than ten feet from the Bad Moon’s gravity, what would Camila do?
Shikai: 6/7
New Moons: 6/6
Remaining Reiatsu: 5500/6000 New Moon: -75 Bad Moon: -150
Warui Tsuki (Bad Moon) Effects: When this technique is activated, Tsukiyomi selects up to three moons that he currently is controlling. The surfaces of those moon’s crack, and the moons turn black. Red ichor begins to spill from the cracks in the surfaces of the moons, forming what appears to be a terrifying smile. Those moons become Bad Moons, and remain that way until another technique changes them. Bad Moons have a maximum speed of 400. What makes Bad Moons special, however, is the fact that their gravitational force is different. They do not attract reiatsu in any way. Instead, Bad Moons pull people towards them, pulling on a strength equal to 50% of Tsukiyomi’s offensive stat on any person that’s within ten feet of the moons.. This force can only be resisted by strength, since it is a physical attraction. However, Bad Moons are special in their gravitational force: they only attract people who possess a Dark Aura of 50 or greater. Hence the name, Bad Moon.
Drawbacks: This technique costs 150 reiatsu to use, plus 50 reiatsu per moon converted this way beyond the first. Only three moons can be Bad Moons at a time, no matter how many times this technique is used. The gravitational pull of the moons can affect Tsukiyomi as well. Finally, once someone is pulled to a moon, the gravitational pull doesn’t prevent them from moving, although it keeps pulling them to the moon, so people can stand on the moons and maneuver around on the limited area. This gravity itself causes no pain, although someone flying at high speeds into one of the moons might.
As the two new orbs flew toward Camila's bats, some of them began to swerve around the attacks, simply due to being much faster than they were, but at the cost of some of her own stored vitality. While her bats were unharmed, Camila was forced to spend precious resources in order to do so. As the bats began to close in on Tsukuyomi's range, and inevitably reformed into Camila herself, she went in for a swing. Seemed all was for naught, though, as the Vice Captain seemed to roll out of the way from her blade. She scoffed as she whiffed her strike, reeling backward to interpret what the hell had just happened. "Nice one," she said, "but don't think that rolling all over the place is going to save you."
Looking to chase him down, Camila was surprised to see that she simply wasn't able to will herself to move. It was almost as though she was being pulled in like iron to a magnet. Turning her head to face the new nefarious-looking orb that seemed to be the source of her issues, smirked. "Nasty little trick you've got there. How's about I show you one of my own?" Before she did anything else, Camila forced her reiatsu to surge around her body, draining all of the vitality she'd been able to store up to that point, and forced it around herself in a defensive nature. Within a matter of a few short moments, the rogue was quickly surrounded by a suit of blood red armor, absolutely riddled in little spikes that seemed to be almost... alive.
One fully-clad in armor, Camila decided to speak. As she did, her voice reverberated; almost echoing through the air around her. "Give me your best shot. If you think you can tear me down, then go for-" As she was speaking, her words were cut off by what felt like tremendous amounts of pelting coming from all around her, limiting her movement but, thanks to her armor, allowing her to absorb the incoming blows with minimal damage done to her body. Because of these strikes, her armor began to come to life, with these spikes growing ever so slightly with each passing strike from Tsukuyomi's moons. Within a few seconds, they were easily upwards of two or three inches longer than they'd originally been.
As they continued to pelt her, Camila started to chuckle as she felt her body forced around. After a few moments, she'd had enough. Gripping tightly around her Katana, Camila forced reiatsu through her arm, and launched a high-speed slash toward the orb she'd be able to strike easiest thanks to Shunpo Karin. If she could destroy one of them to make her own movements a little easier, she'd be content. If she couldn't, then she'd just have to deal with it. After all, she was only benefitting from the strikes against her, as she began to draw in the residual reiatsu from the orbs themselves as they collided with her armor. This was going to be an interesting fight.
{Reiatsu Pool & Blood Counters}Reiatsu Pool: 5,100/9,000 -225 for Combat Cutback activation. +1,500 for 10 strikes from Each moon via Bloodied Fortress. -100 for Shunpo Karin.
Blood Counters: 2 -1 for Scatter. -18 for Bloodied Fortress. +2 for passive generation.
{Bloodied Fortress}This technique doesn’t quite work like the name implies. Instead of creating a fortress, she essentially becomes her own fortress. Camila sacrifices any amount of Blood Counters, and 1000 Reiatsu if that amount is less than 10 Blood Counters. For the duration, any attack against her, whether physical or reiatsu based, drains the reiatsu of either the attack or user of the attack. If she’s hit with a physical attack, she’ll drain 30 reiatsu from that person per Blood Counter spent originally. Every point in Bleeding Tolerance that someone has will reduce this amount of reiatsu per Blood Counter by 10, negating it completely at a 3 in Bleeding Tolerance, and also being negated if someone possess a Strength superior to Camila's Spiritual Pressure. If she’s hit with a reiatsu-based attack, she’ll drain 100 reiatsu from the attack per Blood Counter spent; this does not drain from the person that had made the attack, but the technique itself. This can only drain reiatsu up to the original cost of the technique.
This technique works similarly to Hierro, though it uses her Spiritual Pressure instead of her Reiatsu Strength, and the “wearing down” effect that Hierro has is also reduced significantly (Instead of 8 posts reducing the armor to 80%, it’s now 2 posts. Instead of 12 posts reducing the armor to 60%, it’s 4 posts. Instead of 16 posts destroying the armor, it’s 6 posts. The amount of attacks required to wear down the armor is now halved, reducing these numbers to a minimum of 1 attack). The duration of Bloodied Fortress lasts for 1 post per 2 Blood Counters used to activate the technique. If Bloodied Fortress is active, it can be activated again, extending the duration by 1 post per 4 Blood Counters spent towards it, and restoring the Hierro-like effect of the armor to the original duration if 5 or more Blood Counters are spent while the effect is active. This technique can be used on allies by adding an additional two Blood Counters as a cost. This technique has an extremely hefty cost, no matter how you go about it. As soon as the duration of Bloodied Fortress ends, the technique is put onto a 10 post cooldown. It essentially punishes the user for purposefully not maintaining the effect to spend less Blood Counters for a longer duration. While in Bankai, this armor's duration is 1 post per Blood Counter spent on activation, and the duration is increased by one post for every two blood counters spent on the technique after activating it instead.

Tsukuyomi was right to avoid the slash that Camila was intending to make on him which showed that despite the right positioning of her blade she wasn’t trying to make her attacks unclear. The intention behind them was obvious, which was something that could make or break a battle, so Tsukuyomi could only hope she kept it up. Rolling backwards and into his knee he watched as Camila rushed towards him. “A lot of words spoken for someone that has succeeded in nothing.” Tsukuyomi kept careful to move the Bad Moon just far enough away from his position that Camila wouldn’t be able to reach him. She took notice of the fact it was the Bad Moon keeping her from reaching him which although obvious was something he would have preferred to keep from her for at least a little longer,
The long straight black hair draped down Tsukuyomi’s shoulders at the moment, kept up in a high ponytail in the same manner that he had learned from his former teacher. His hair wasn’t the sort to normally get in his way yet due to his movements at the moment the thousands of strands were in an unusual position for Tsukuyomi. As for what would exactly be noteworthy for someone else about Tsukuyomi’s current appearance was the symbol on his forehead. The moment that Tsukuyomi had released his Shikai two distinct things had changed about his face.
The first of which was a small symbol in the center of his forehead, a lower crescent shape angled upwards towards a full circle. Both are shining bright silver in color like Tsukuyomi’s reiatsu. The symbol of one inspected it wouldn't be hard to figure out as two different phases of the moon. The other change was Tsukuyomi’s eyes which currently shined bright silver as well almost as if they were lights. Enough of his appearance though as the important thing were the words that Camila continues to spew out to him. Her confidence knows no bounds.
Although he was ready to attack with the moons closest to Camila, Tsukuyomi was well aware to keep track of the two moons further away from both of them that he had originally sent towards her. Those two were further away now at twenty two feet while the one that he had sent forward a few moments ago was now ten feet away from her. Camila’s reiatsu flaring up and wrapping itself around her was something that Tsukuyomi didn’t expect. An armor of sorts was going to be difficult yet he went forward with his plan in order to see whether or not blunt attacks would be able to harm her.
Knocking her around was something that Tsukuyomi hadn’t expected to go quite as well as it was. He’d been expecting her to perhaps react faster and destroy one of the moons or at least guard herself from it. Instead he watched and moved Mikoto making sure to bombard her with blow after blow of each moon. After a few of the first Tsukuyomi’s eyes picked up something about the armor that Cami was wearing. It was something he’d have to find out especially since Soul Society didn't have anything like it.
The barrage of the moons was appearing to make the armor that Camila had formed grow, specifically the small spikes that lines the suit were getting bigger as time went on. Tsukuyomi would have to stay quick on his feet to make some quick decisions. The first of which was knowing that relying on the new moons like he had hoped wouldn’t be enough to break through the armor that seemed to be keeping Camila safe enough Knowing that the armor this woman wore wasn’t going to be broken down by just some heavy blows.
Dragging his thumb nail down the hilt of Mikoto, Tsukuyomi’s reiatsu flared for a moment as he shifts one of the New Moons into a different stage. The one that had been sent flying towards the swarm of bats hadn’t gotten very far away and now the pure white surface changed. Turning into a brilliant bright green the moon begins to rotate at a speed superior to what the New Moons were capable of. Most important though was the aura that the moon immediately starts to exude. Camila destroying one of the New Moons would likely hold her attention for a moment, all Tsukuyomi needed,
The Bad Moon positioned with his horrific smile staring right at Camila was ten feet away from her on the opposite side of Tsukuyomi. She would find that unless she destroyed the Bad Moon she wouldn’t be able to reach Tsukuyomi, the other New Moon continued to love around her now though going low and set to strike at legs placing importance on her knees and shins. Finally the green moon by the name of Harvest closes in positioned to Tsukuyomi’s right. Eight feet from Camila, twelve feet from the Bad Moon. Just out of reach the aura would envelop Camila as slashes, cuts began to enforce themselves on her as if she were being out through a blender.
Shikai: 5-7
New Moons: 4/5
Bad Moon: 1/3
Harvest Moon 1
Remaining Reiatsu: 5300/6000 Harvest Moon -200
Bokujō Monogatari (Harvest Moon) Effects: When this technique is activated, Tsukiyomi selects a moon that he currently controls. The surface of the moon glistens, turning a beautiful green color. The moon begins to rotate, slowly at first, then growing faster and faster, and even when Tsukiyomi doesn’t command it to move, it rotates rapidly and flies around in small circles. This moon becomes a Harvest Moon, and remains that way until another technique changes it. Harvest Moons have a speed of 450.
Harvest Moons possess very similar properties to normal moons, but instead of possessing a gravitational attraction, they possess an aura that extends off of them, same range as gravity normally would extend from the moon, and instead of attracting reiatsu techniques, it applies a rapidly cutting effect to any object that enters the area. Objects are sliced from all directions within the aura, with an offensive strength equal to Tsukiyomi’s.
Drawbacks: Harvest Moons cost 200 reiatsu to create, and he can only have 3 of them at once. Harvest Moons have a durability of 75% of Tsukiyomi’s offensive stat, meaning that they are less durable than his average moon. Additionally, they don’t cut reiatsu, meaning that they are rather vulnerable to reiatsu based attacks. Things that have a defensive tech of superior strength to the Moons are more or less immune to them, since they won’t be able to slice deeply. Tsukiyomi can’t use this technique more than once a post
As the girl's strike against the orb was stopped by the same force pulling upon her like gravity, Camila turned behind her to see a rather grotesque smile on the moon behind her. She turned to Tsukuyomi. "You think something like that is going to be enough?" she shouted, "I promise you that this ain't worth shit!" Turning her attention to the gravitational pressure being acted upon her body, Camila embraced it and made a mad dash toward the red moon behind her. She wasn't going to allow something this... this dumb hold her down from striking the man! No, she was going to do everything she needed to in order to tear this man from where he stood.
Readying her bladed wing, Camila slashed through where the moon had been, looking to destroy it in one clean strike if she was able to. She wasn't going to let something that trivial handicap her if she could help it. For the time, her goal was to clean up the battlefield to the best of her ability, and then focus her attention to the Shinigami that seemed to look to play himself up as best he could. She wasn't having any of that. As the now green moon began to rotate around her and try to slash at her armor, Camila simply scoffed at the Shinigami. "Like I said, something like this isn't going to stop me, asshole! How about you drop this and fight me like a man!?"
If she wasn't able to destroy the red moon, Camila was simply going to stand there and continue to take the slashes from Tsukuyomi's green moon. It seemed it wasn't strong enough to break through her defenses, and she was going to take full advantage of that fact. She wasn't going to let her armor be torn down if she could help it, and was going to do everything in her power in order to not only keep that up, but keep up the leeching effect that her armor possessed. If he wasn't careful, Tsukuyomi was going to be coming awfully close to seeing just what made Camila such a formidable opponent; it wasn't her offensive potential, rather her defenses that made her hard to deal with.
If she was able to destroy the moon holding her location in place, her next goal was going to be to tear down Tsukuyomi. She wasn't going to let some over-zealous Shinigami belittle her or make her feel like she wasn't justified in her actions. Yeah, she was a traitor, but she had valid reason! With an AWOL captain, and a Squad that did nothing but pick on her and tried to have her executed, anyone would reasonably get out of there. She was no different, and was going to make that known. If she had the option to, her first goal was to close the distance between her and Tsukuyomi, likely through the use of a Shunpo in order to do so quickly.
If she managed to close the distance, Camila launched her shoulder forward, looking to pierce through the Shinigami's torso with one clean strike. With that strike, Camila began to establish a rhythm for herself, doing what she could in order push her body further than she'd normally be able to achieve. She wasn't going to just sit by and let him attack her; no, it was her turn to do what she could in order to go on the offensive. She wasn't going to let this man tear her down to any extent.
{Reiatsu Pool & Blood Counters}Reiatsu Pool: 6,825/9,000 -225 for Combat Cutback activation. +2,000 for 10 slashes from Harvest Moon via Bloodied Fortress. -50 for Shunpo.
Blood Counters: 8 +2 from Passive Generation. +2 from Overall Ability, refunded if strike doesn't land. +2 from Bloodweapons passive, refunded if strike doesn't land.
Technique Description and Effects: A stance-type technique, this one requires the user to slip into a state of automatic combat. Automatic combat is a mental state in which the user continues at the exact same pacing of their previous blows, creating a rhythmic pattern that allows them to fight without focusing on it. During this, the user becomes accustomed to their own movements, flowing into the same speed and rhythm of attacks until it's no longer required to think about it. That's when this technique truly begins to shine; upon that point, the user can speed up or slow down that rhythm suddenly, creating a pattern of attacks that suddenly alters in speed. Slowing in speed takes no effort, merely the conscious decision to hold back a blow, but speeding up is another story.
When speeding up, the user must do so gradually; as they become accustomed to their movements at a set pace beyond their normal limit, they can slowly push themselves further and further. With each post of consecutive rhythmic attacks, the user can adapt and push their muscles so that they move an additional 50 speed faster with their consistent attacks. This can be continued up until the maximum of the 3x limit on speed boosts. However, if speed is dropped at all, it caps at the speed dropped to or the user's maximum speed, whichever is higher, and can only regain 50 speed per post. Example, if the user has 300 Speed, after one post they can have 350, and after two their attacks come at 400 speed. However, if they drop down to 300 for a slowed move to surprise a foe, they cannot just go back up to 400 speed, and instead have to work up at 50 per post again. If they dropped down to 200, however, they could immediately make the next blow 300, as that is their natural cap.
How to use technique: Begin striking in a consistent, consecutive rhythm of blows, adapting to it over time and adjusting speed as able.
Technique Drawbacks: Stamina. Aside from that, the biggest drawback to this technique is its predictability; the user does have to build up a rhythm of strikes, and because they are fighting almost off-handedly, even if they have control over how they strike, there is a pattern in the motions that can be countered by an analytical foe. Note that this counts as a long-term buff if used for more than two posts (i.e. after the first post of increased speed); otherwise, it is counted as a short-term buff. Requires at least a 1 in Martial Arts: Hakuda.

Tsukuyomi kept his distance, watching as the moons so far employed against Camila affected her. Her zanpakuto was one that he couldn’t quite pin down yet. It was one of the sorts that affected her physical force as well as gave her a sort of weapon. In all honesty it was something that he Enel urged to be more likely to see on an Arrancar. What he believed though didn’t matter since it wouldn’t change anything about the situation. He had to figure out what her zanpakuto could do, what she could do and what he could do to bring her down hard enough to claim victory. The clearest thing he could see at the moment was that his Bad Moon was working perfectly. Keeping her out of range although it seemed that little trick had been found out by Camila’s outburst and then rushed towards it.
The speed that Camila was moving at was something that Tsukuyomi from his current position was able to analyze, figuring out more and more about what her limitations were based on what she was doing. The red wing that seemed to sprout from her back when she released her zanpakuto was swung like a scythe. Clashing against the Bad Moon, Tsukuyomi continued to gather information while moving Mikoto through the air with subtle tiny strokes. What he saw told him a bit more, not just what Camila’s speed was, but also the sharpness of the wing on her back. It cut into the Bad Moon right on impact yet managed to only get about a third of the way through. The black liquor that the moon emanates dripping down not just from itself yet not cloaking the wing as well.
After a moment the wing would be able to continue forward slicing through the Bad Moon entirely. The red sphere falling to the ground in the same manner as a boulder. In the moments that followed Tsukuyomi continued with his long term strategy watching the results of the Harvest Moon. Unfortunately though it seemed that Mikoto’s most offensive ability was rendered useless by Camila’s armor. The suit of blood seemingly protects her from the cutting aura that the Harvest Moon emanates. “Why would I oblige someone that seeks my demise? If you plan to beat me then do it. Otherwise stop talking so much.”
Tsukuyomi, the sort of individual that utters very few words, wasn't the Vice Captain of the notoriously bad mannered and loud Division Eleven for no reason. Right now he had gathered a bit more information about Camila in a few different regards and although he didn’t have nearly enough information to handle her easily it was starting to come together all the same. Right now the only thing that puzzled him was how he could break through her armor. The curious thought brought a whisper into his mind. A whisper from an all to familiar voice. An achy sensation in his left hand that told him exactly who believed they possessed what he needed.
“No Honshitsu, I can’t risk burning down another town. Your fire may well be what I need but at the moment there’s simply too much at risk. Patience please.”
“ Fine, but what happens if you wait too long. You wait long enough for it to happen again? Then it won’t be my fire burning this city to the ground.”
The response was a bitter one. It hurt more than being stabbed by a blade, especially coming from one of his zanpakuto. He knew Honshitsu was the sort to thrive and live for battle. She didn’t like to be left out and especially didn’t like when Mikoto was used instead of her. Even so for her to throw what she had in his face. Something he thought would have been unspeakable. Either way it didn’t amount to anything in the battle. Camila executing Shunpo in order to close the distance to attempt an attack would find her wing cut through nothing.
While Camila vanishes while executing Shunpo to close the distance between them, Tsukuyomi steps backwards putting a few extra feet between them the moment that Camila vanishes from his sight. Moving backwards at his full speed for a moment causes an afterimage of Tsukuyomi to fill the space where he had just been standing. This afterimage will fall victim to the sharp wing that Camila possesses yet for the real Tsukuyomi he waves Mikoto forward sending out another New Moon at full speed with every intention of slamming into Camila’s head. Testing whether or not such an essential part of her body remains a weakness at the moment.
Shikai: 4/7
New Moons: ⅘ (3 behind Camila, 1 going at her head)
