Character Name: Ailene Haschiro
Previous Real Age: 693
Current/New Real Age: 693
Previous Age of Appearance: 25
Current/New Age of Appearance: 25
New Ideals/Personality: Over the course of the last few months, Ailene has had many encounters that affected the way she views her values and overall goals. First and most importantly was the encounter with Orobas. Having learned about the Envainar and that they aren't as defunct as others were lead to believe, Ailene has garnered a personal interest in the group. As one of the Espada, she was hand picked by her Lord Kouhai as his elite force of Arrancar. Yet Ailene has been beginning to wonder whether she finds companionship among the Espada. Orobas has already displayed interests that they both share making the prospect of pursuing the Envainar more and more attractive to the Arrancar.
Her encounter with Raphael in Uzaki Enterprises has done much to change the way she views spiritual weapons of the varying races. After getting more insight into the symbolism behind a Fullbring, Ailene has begun contemplating the differences between all the spiritual weapons. She views them as an extension of self. A part of each of them. Yet what defines the shape and ability that a Shinigami may receive from their Zanpakutou? This is the riddle that Ailene aims to explore. As she loves riddles, she is infatuated with the idea of discovering something new about the various weapons that are used by the different races in the three worlds.
Even Ailene's alternate personality has become slightly more developed. As Ailene was forced to contend with it after Orobas siphoning her Resurrección, she found success in silencing it and displaying a bit of dominance over it. Because of this, more of Ailene's personality has become imprinted upon this alter ego of hers. While still incredibly ruthless and violent, Ailene while utilizing her Resurrección does not speak in fragmented sentences anymore. Instead her words are more purposeful. Deliberate. This also matches the more humanoid form that her Resurrección now grants her as she looks less monstrous and naturally easier to converse with.
Ailene's eating habits in Resurrección have also changed. Before in her larger form, the Arrancar would gorge herself on the corpses of her victims. While she still devours her victims it is with far less hunger. Now instead she focuses on one corpse at a time versus trying to eat as much as she can. Each meal has become somewhat of a ritual for her as she more deliberate consumes her victims. Finally it should be noted that in Resurrección, Ailene eats far less than before. While normally she would consume each victim that she felled, Ailene instead focuses on one or two corpses each time she releases. Perhaps this is just to her smaller form, but she finds herself satiated far more easily now.
New Appearance: While her Zanpakutou is sealed, Ailene's appearance has not changed significantly over the past few months. She still has her long black hair which she normally wraps in a bun. Her overall height still remains the same at 5'7". Her facial features and body has become more feminine, however. A larger bust along with a more feminine face makes it far easier to identify her as female than before. Her robes still have the typical scholar appearance to them while retaining their white coloration even after centuries of aging. She still notably walks around barefoot and carries a satchel with her in which she keeps her reading material and other literature.
While the Arrancar's sealed state has not changed much, her Resurrección is a completely different story. Having consolidated much of her power into a smaller form, Ailene now no longer appears bestial or much like a Hollow upon activating her Resurrección. Once sitting at 5'7", Ailene now grows just over half a foot, becoming 6'2". Her formerly pale skin becomes scaly and reptilian as her body begins to develop a carapace. It should be noted that her clothes simply vanish off of her body though she is essentially covered by the carapace. Blackish in color and jagged, she simply looks as though her former bestial form was given more humanoid shape.
Ailene's head is also granted the carapace except for her eyes and mouth. On the sides of her head are jagged edges that start at her forehead and continue along to the back. Ailene retains her hair though it becomes far longer and flowing. On her back are a pair of natural wings that drape over her back like a cape. Between the wings is a dark-purple fur that is reminiscent of the membrane that is normally found between these types of wings. Ailene has a natural wingspan of 17 ft. These wings give her a natural ability to fly. Additionally, the purple fur has the visual appearance of a cascading river as it almost seems to move down the length of her wings.
Finally, Ailene has natural weapons while taking on her Resurrección. Atop each of her hands and feet are razor sharp talons. Each is pointed and appears as though it could shred its target to pieces. Additionally, atop each wing is yet another claw that Ailene gains access to once her wings become maneuverable. When her full power is unlocked, the ridges on Ailene's head raise somewhat to display a set of purple horns that look as though they could gore victims. Finally, Ailene has a slender yet prehensile tail that is about 4 ft in length. Due to its prehensile nature, Ailene is very proficient as grasping using it and can even use it for physical blows.
New History: Over the course of a few months, Ailene has experienced many new encounters. First and foremost is her meeting with the Envainar leader, Orobas. The Septima Espada got to know him over a cup of tea in her Espada Quarters. After sharing stories and motivations, Ailene ended up sparring Orobas per order of Kouhai. It was a short yet vicious battle involving cunning, skill and ferocity from both combatants. The fight ended with Orobas siphoning Ailene's Resurrección. Due to her dual personality, the Espada suffered from it, but ended up conquering her demon dwelling inside. With it, she gained greater insight into not only her own abilities, but the Envainar.
The Espada would also find herself meeting Raphael of Uzaki Enterprises. After attempting to bring a gift basket for Luca, Ailene was brought into UE by Raphael in an attempt to deduce why an Espada would visit Uzaki Enterprises with a gift basket of all items. Delving deeper into the reasons that Ailene was attempting to make amends, she wanted to try and aid Raphael in his ventures as a show of good faith. As such, the two of them ended up exchanging information about one another. Going into topics such as the Zanpakutou of an Arrancar and the fullbring of Fullbringers. It was certainly an illuminating experience for Ailene in which she learned a great deal.
IC Justification: A Hopeless Induction - In this thread, Ailene faced off against the leader of the Envainar, Orobas. Despite her incredible display of ferocity and cunning, Orobas used a special technique to effectively siphon Ailene's Resurrección. Due to the split personality that she harbors, Ailene was forced to content with this alternative personality due to having no time to end her Resurrección on her own terms. Despite the torment, Ailene was able to display dominance over this alter personality that acts more as a demon to Ailene. This served as a catalyst to alter Ailene's form and shaped her Resurrección to appear far more humanoid while still retaining the traits of the old form to display shifts in the personality that haunts her.

{Ailene Resurrección}
New History: Over the course of a few months, Ailene has experienced many new encounters. First and foremost is her meeting with the Envainar leader, Orobas. The Septima Espada got to know him over a cup of tea in her Espada Quarters. After sharing stories and motivations, Ailene ended up sparring Orobas per order of Kouhai. {Old Powers}
{Primera Etapa Overall}The form that Primera Etapa grants Ailene is one of elegance, quick movement and death. To begin with, Ailene's new imposing form gives them sharp appendages to fight with. With in this form, Ailene doesn't have a traditional Zanpakutou, instead using their entire body as a release weapon of sorts. Deadly claws, a crushing maw with rows of razor sharp teeth, a long slender tail, and just the size of the form itself gives Ailene an entire body to use as a weapon. Each one of these appendages strikes with Ailene's OS.
Due to trapping most of their power within their release, Ailene gradually unlocks use of their body as a weapon. Once fully attaining the maximum power they are capable of in the form of regaining all their stats via Soul Specialist, Ailene's true form is revealed. Gaining a new set of horns that act as piercing weapons which are based off of Ailene's OS and the ability to use their wings allows Ailene to be become an absolute dominant force on the battlefield with the use of wings allowing for short term flight.
The true ability behind Ailene's form is its ability to manifest the plague in all living things. Yersinia pestis known more commonly as The Black Death or the plague was a vicious disease that claimed the lives of many Europeans. Ailene hailing from the time of the Black Death uses this to their advantage to cause a chain of infection that gets worse as the victim goes on. The worst effects of this disease may be delayed, but eventual consumption is inevitable for even the most resistant of souls.
Ailene has two vectors of infection. The first is Ailene's claws. Striking others with their claws initiates the incubation process as the infection will begin to develop within their body. The second vector of infection is a fine mist that Ailene exudes. This mist surrounds Ailene almost all times in release at a distance of 10 ft surrounding them and in fact is an airbone form of the disease. To facilitate infection, an opponent must remain within the mist for 1 post. This means that those within 10 ft of Ailene for 1 full post become infected. If someone attacks Ailene in melee and then backs off, leaving her mist before the end of the post, they would not become infected assuming that Ailene does not maintain the 10 ft distance.
Once infected, the bacteria undergoes a virulent mutation as it reaches new heights. When becoming newly infected, Yersinia, as it will be called is in its most infant stage and in fact is at a stage where it is most vulnerable. The victim can at this point remove the disease from their system by spending a modicum of reiatsu. By spending 100 reiatsu, dedicated to purging Yersinia, the victim will not only not suffer its further effects, but gains a 2 post immunity to becoming infected again. In the case that the victim chooses to let it be, the incubation process will begin.
This incubation process requires 1 post after infection to finish. Once incubated, Yersinia becomes integrated into their body and now cannot be removed. From this point on, infection can only be delayed. The victim begins at 0 stacks of Bacterium. Every post, this value increases by 10. This is not the only way to increase the value, however. When the victim uses a technique, 10% of the reiatsu used to create the technique actually gets converted into a value rounded up. If the victim spends 100 reiatsu, they still fire the technique at a cost of 100 reiatsu, but they gain 10 stacks of Bacterium. If the victim spends 25 reiatsu, they gain 3 stacks of Bacterium.
Yersinia, once having infected a target, can be increased as Ailene strikes the target with her claws. Every time Ailene strikes the target with their claws, the victim in question gains 5 stacks of Bacterium. Additionally, the natural mist that Ailene creates applies another 10 stacks every post that the target is standing within it. Much like natural accumulation, points of Poison Resist will reduce this accumulation of stacks via mist. Each point reduces it by 2. With a Poison Resist of 2, the accumulation via mist is 6 per post when the target is within 10 ft. If the target has a Poison Resist of 4, the accumulation is 2 per post.
Yersinia has yet another way of accumulating more stacks of Bacterium. As metabolism is fortified by faster movement, moving at certain speeds will make it so the victim feeds the bacterium. Starting at 300, every post that the victim moves at that speed, the stacks of Bacterium increase by 20. This value increased by 20 for every 100+ speed they move at. If the victim is moving at 400 speed for 1 post, they accumulate 40 stacks from moving at that speed. If they move at 400 speed for 2 posts, they gain 80 stacks over those two posts. This does take into account the speed of step techniques. Step techniques incur both a reiatsu conversion and speed conversion for stacks. Step techniques are unique in this regard. Step techniques can only accumulate a speed conversion equal to the top base speed of the target. I.E if they Shunpo and their speed of 400, but they are moving at 4000, the converstion will only take into account base speed and 10% of reiatsu. This would make it 50 stacks.
Yersinia accumulates stacks not only in its victim, but also within Ailene. Subject to the same rules as her victim, Ailene naturally accumulates stacks at 10 per post. She also converts 10% of her techniques' reiatsu and certain thresholds (300+) of movement into stacks. Since Ailene maintains a consistent microbiome, she is extremely resistant to her own bacterium and is only affected at the higher stages of infection. Ailene will only begin experiencing symptoms at Stages 6 & 7. She will eventually develop lumps and the corresponding symptoms at these stages, but only because the disease has become so severe that not even Ailene can resist it. At Stage 7, Ailene can only be rendered unconscious after 5 posts of exposure. Her body has adapted well to to the disease to avoid death. This mechanic directly interacts with her technique, Yersinia Burst.
Once Yersinia reaches certain thresholds of Bacterium, it not only has a more profound effect on the physiological processes of the body, but it also mutates. This form of the plague likens to an extremely virulent form of Yersinia pestis. As the stacks increase, the victim suffers a worse effect from the bacterium itself. This will also be detailed in a table titled Yersinia Bacterium. This all goes to show that once a bacterium is left to its own devices, it will consume feed on the resources given to it by the victims body.
It is important to note that despite all this, the victim does have a few devices in place to delay the infection process. First and foremost, points of Poison Resist will actually slow the rate at which Yersinia naturally accumulates stacks. Every point of Poison Resist will reduce the accumulation by 2. With a Poison Resist of 2, the natural accumulation per post is reduced from 10 to 6. A 4 will reduce the accumulation per post from 10 to 2. Furthermore, it will also increase the time it takes for the victim to begin experiencing side effects. Starting at Poison Resist 3, the victim will only begin suffering from its effects at Stage 3 of infection. A Poison Resist of 4 will leave the victim suffering from its effects at Stage 4 of infection. A minimum of 800 in Healing Expertise will decrease the natural accumulation of infect to 2 per post no matter the Poison Resist.
Aside from this, the victim can make the conscientious effort to refuse moving at high speeds. They can also limit the amount of reaitsu techniques that they fire. These two efforts will prevent them from accumulating stacks too quickly. There is one more option that the victim of this vile disease has. While it is true that spending reiatsu worsens the disease, this only applies to techniques. The victim can choose to spend reiatsu at a 5:1 ratio to lessen the stacks of disease. This reiatsu is specifically dedicated to lessening the severity of Yersinia. If the victim spends 100 reiatsu dedicated to this effort, they reduce their amount of stacks by 20.
The last ways to combat this disease is by simply being stronger than Ailene. A 2x OS superiority will also make the victim immune. If the victim gains a stat boost while infected that gives them a 2x OS superiority, they will be immune to the effects of Yersinia as well as accumulation of stacks for as long as they have this superiority. It should also be noted that if Ailene should ever drop out of Resurreccion either by their own volition or fatigue, Yersinia will die as it leaves their body, leaving the victim without this Plague.
Due to trapping most of their power within their release, Ailene gradually unlocks use of their body as a weapon. Once fully attaining the maximum power they are capable of in the form of regaining all their stats via Soul Specialist, Ailene's true form is revealed. {New Powers}
{Primera Etapa Overall}When assuming her new form in Primera Etapa, Ailene is granted natural weapons to fight with. With in this form, Ailene doesn't have a traditional Zanpakutou, instead using her entire body as a release weapon of sorts. These consist of razor sharp talons on her hands and feet, wings on her back along with a slender tail. Her talons naturally use her OS for cutting, but her tail uses OS for concussive strength. While it has prehensile properties, she uses her natural strength to determine actions like grappling or grasping with her tail. While Ailene's ability to use these aspects of her release is very innate to her being, she displays mastery through a weapon skill, Natural Weapons.
Due to trapping most of their power within their release, Ailene gradually unlocks use of her body as a weapon. Once fully attaining the maximum power she is capable of in the form of regaining all her stats via Soul Specialist, Ailene's true form is revealed. This allows her to use the wings on her back for both offense and utility along with horns that arise atop her head. Talons atop her wings and her horns both use her OS for cutting power. Having wings also allows the Espada to utilize them for flight effectively allowing her to dominate the skies.

If the victim spends 100 reiatsu dedicated to this effort, they reduce their amount of stacks by 20
The last ways to combat this disease is by simply being stronger than Ailene.
