Kimiko, at first, felt no surprise whatsoever upon hearing Yozora's opinion of her words. So far, the man had proven that he was the kind of person to react to outside help with vehement opposition; as such, she didn't find any issues hearing him treat her words so negatively and borderline think of her help as an inconvenience. If anything, this constant negativity more or less convinced her that whatever he has suffered in the past must have been one hell of a terrible experience and that he did need help, whether he wanted it or not. An expert in psychology isn't really required to witness that guy's emotional problems from a mile away. "It's a load of shit that kept me from dealing with shit like this on a regular basis," she responded as she maintained her serious gaze onto the student and her grip on Daichi. After she said that, she would then raise the foot that she had thrown towards the bully's arm before delivering another kick to his backside, with her gaze momentarily being turned towards him then. "Go away. Don't do stuff like this again, or I'll seriously break your arm."
Her gaze did not look away from Daichi as he ran away and shouted his words. From the way his shouts resonated throughout the hall, it didn't really seem as though any lesson had been learned from all of this, which made Kimiko sigh disappointingly. What a lame pig. He must have had quite the upbringing for him to act in such an entitled fashion. Maybe he will grow into a potential fighter she will enjoy fighting one day once she becomes a full-fledged Shinigami, but if he remains the way he is to a point that he shall never stray from this path of hatred and narcissism, the only thing that awaits him is either impending ridicule before the entirety of the Gotei 13 or a swift death on the battlefield against a stronger adversary. People who talk the loudest, after all, are often incapable of backing up their threats and so often end up biting more than they can chew, and Daichi's overwhelming brawn is not going to carry him in every situation he faces.
By that point, Kimiko was expecting this situation to have been defused enough for her to be allowed to leave. However, before she could do so, the student watched as Yozora started going on a rant about Shinigami. In that moment, the eyes of the swordswoman went from mere surprise, to shock and eventually deep anger as the man went on to quite frankly trample all over what it meant to be a soldier of Gotei 13. Her eyes became wide and dead-set onto the man, and in that instant, her Spiritual Pressure flared. Having someone reject her arguments was one thing, yes, as she couldn't really say she was the best at describing things and talking with others, but having someone completely mock the very important duty that the Shinigami hold was like seeing everything that her mentor and acquaintances stood for being ridiculed. It was not something that she could accept, and quite frankly, it almost made her want to rush forward and beat Yozora to a pulp. It was a good thing that she wasn't that impulsive of a person, even if it was difficult to resist the urge to fight him right then and there.
As she resisted this urge, the student kept her violent gaze on Yozora for a good moment, rivaling his with vehement anger and resentment as they both grew quiet. While it did, questions would arise in her head amidst the rage, and only one among them would rise after at least a few seconds of staring. "... then why are you here...?" The words eventually left her lips quietly before she straightened herself. "If this is all a joke to you... then why are you here? Why do you even bother...?" The more she spoke, the more her tone became calmer and calmer until she eventually grew cold as her demeanor slightly tensed down. The rage had passed. The loathing now began. "You sound like you're only here just because you want some kind of... divine punishment or something. I... don't get it. What...? Was the pit you came from not bad enough, so you you decided to come here instead to get beat up even further?"
She really didn't want to put it that way, but the anger that she felt from his previous words were starting to make her hate what was standing before her. Never before has she spoken with someone who sound like they have absolutely no goal in life, nothing to defend and nothing they actually want to do. Worse yet, she has never spoken with someone who is so willing to defend that line of thought with such intensity. She simply could not understand it. What future did this man even want to reach? What goals does he truly have? She could not tell, and frankly, judging by this disgusting reaction, she doubted that even he could. He wants to be left alone, yet at the same time, his negativity is so intense that he eventually beckons negative company. There was no line or reason behind that line of thought, and yet that's what she was staring at right now. Does he not understand that the only thing that awaits him onto such a terrible path is misfortune? Unhappiness?
Well, whatever he wants, she doesn't want any part of it now. Now, she understands that what she did here for him was a waste of time; rather, the only thing that mattered here was what she did for herself by beating the worthless filth that was Daichi. Tensing down, she slowly go of her anger, and with one last comment, she turned her back to him. "I won't ask you to care about what I told you... but at least give it some thought. Else, just leave. Trust me, the way you are now, no Squad will ever want to deal with you," she said with disgust before then she started walking away, uncaring of whatever words would follow her own as she did so. So much for having found someone who could make pizza for her. If this is the only kind of person that could cook good food like that, then she'll settle with the cafeteria food.
