Hiking throughout the long and winding halls of Las Noches, the clicking sound of footsteps echoed throughout the normal empty halls. As per usual, this was the Septima Espada, Ailene. Under normal circumstances, Ailene was just perusing the hallways out of curiosity. It was this time, however, that there was someone of note that she had to meet. Ailene enjoyed keeping tabs on the Espada. She wanted to be in the know when it came to the cutthroat group of elite Arrancar that she was a part of. She guessed that this is what had her most interested. The Espada was typically inhabited by Arrancar, but recently there seemed to be a change in the status quo.
She had heard rumors about it happening, but she was not sure whether to believe. Allegedly, a non-Arrancar had made it onto the Espada. This alone warranted investigation by Ailene. She was not going to look to chase him out the Espada. Not at all. Ailene actually valued more members within the Espada. Whether they had the strength to back it up was what mattered. She would not settle for those that were weak after all. If not for her own wants, then for their safety. Weak individuals would be swallowed whole by the structure of Las Noches. Hell, by Hueco Mundo as a greater whole. Strength was something to be cherished among the Arrancar, especially among Espada.
To investigate this properly, Ailene had to first find the newcomer to the Espada. If she was to accept a new member into the fabled group, she had to at least get her first impressions. The last thing she wanted is for someone like Rio ruff up and scare off the new member. Then again, if that was a genuine part of his stay as an Espada then Ailene would be happy to have him out of the group. She knew that Rio was not only imposing, but also strong. That being said, she did not stand for bullies and something about her prior experiences pinned him as a bully to her. She could not even explain why. It was just a thought that randomly popped into her head.
Thinking about it, she had never met Rio. Or none of the former Espada. As she walked, she began to talk to herself. "There we go Ailene. Typical. Perplexed by the repressed memories of one of your halves. If you aren't careful, others may think that you will one day go crazy." As she finished with her little self reflection, she continued to scour the halls for any sign of Beast. Of course she did not know Beast personally. She was hoping that this first meeting could lead to healthy comradery and overall create a better sense of belonging. After all, he was an Espada now. He had to be somewhat strong right? Right? Ailene hoped to herself as she continued on her search.
